奥多摩で腰まで埋まる落ち葉と言えば風張峠から鞘口峠の間かな。奥多摩湖から吹き上げてくる強風で落ち葉が溜まるんだよね。

そこには行ってないけど、どこでも下りが要注意なんだよね。

山頂から裾に広がってるから当たり前だけど。

特に日陰谷間とか湿っぽいところで、時間が遅くなってダイヤに合わせようと焦ってるとかが必殺パターン。

あれ？と思っても、ちょっと立ち止まって様子を見るという発想が消し飛びやすいし。

a brotp: i already went into this in the charlie ask so no surprise when i say mac and charlie. they’re probably my favorite dynamic in the gang.

random hc: despite the notps i just mentioned i hc that charlie was mac’s first (and maybe second and third) kiss with a boy and dee was his first (and maybe second and third) kiss with a girl. everyone else in the gang lowkey knows about charlie and mac’s kiss(es), but mac and dee never told a soul about theirs and never will.

general opinion: okay i actually do have SOMETHING TO SAY here. mac as a character has been hurt the most by rcg, etc.’s carelessness with the gang from a writing standpoint the past few seasons. ever since hohc his character has very much been reduced to “the gay one” and he’s in a way become more of an outcast to the gang than dee is. and the weird, unexplained change in the gang’s dynamics -- namely mac, charlie, and dennis seemingly no longer being good friends or actually liking each other as well as the “we hate mac” sentiment -- ever since about mid season 12 seems too coincidental to NOT be directly related to mac now being out of the closet and that taking over his entire personality. so to answer this part of the ask meme, i LOVE mac as a character and would even say he might be my favorite character in the gang. but these past few seasons the writers have done him a real disservice by making him so one-dimensional in his motivations and the gang’s interactions with him so OOC, so i'm crossing my fingers for a change in s15 and beyond.
