Tiny Review: Conclave 2024. Intriguing Catholic thriller.

Certainty: That tinge of woke message at the end was pretty bold. But well-executed. We needed one last reveal, and this was quite apt and timely. Overall, it’s a Should Watch. Good example of a well-paced story.

Conclave is a 2024 mystery thriller film directed by Edward Berger and written by Peter Straughan, based on the 2016 novel by Robert Harris. The film stars Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Sergio Castellitto, and Isabella Rossellini.

Description

Learning how Mother Teresa faced many doubts after no longer being able to hear the voice of Jesus, Kavita is inspired.

Tiny Review: The Two Popes 2019. I hope he becomes Pope...

I like the nice touch of the smoke rising from the candle in the final scene, paying off what was said earlier.

The Two Popes is a 2019 biographical drama film directed by Fernando Meirelles and written by Anthony McCarten, adapted from McCarten's play The Pope. It stars Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pryce.
