Obsessed with the sudden shift in Cas' willingness to say insane romantic shit to dean in season 8. A couple of seasons ago, he would tell dean that they had a profound bond to his face. That everything he did, he did for Dean. Now? He's hesitating. He clenches his fists to avoid hugging Dean back in purgatory. He stutters and looks away before saying he stayed away from Dean to protect him. When asked what broke through heaven's brainwashing, he looks away and says he doesn't know. It's so interesting to me

Castiel straightened up with a smile, selfishly glad to have the cat’s close company on his shoulder for as long as he could.

“I wouldn’t want to trek through all of this undergrowth if I didn’t have to either,” Castiel said as he resumed walking. He pushed low hanging branches out of the way, and forced his way through thickets of dark thorns that snagged his pants and coat. “There was a time that I could have flown us straight up above the canopy,” he added bitterly. “Though I suspect you might have been startled by my wings.”

My dear friend Amal Ashour (@amalashuor) just informed me that two days ago, her sister Nour and Nour's husband were robbed, and their phones were stolen. Nour already has a GFM campaign dedicated to helping her disabled son Muhammed continue to get treatment, but I am making this separate fundraiser to help them raise money quickly to get new phones, as without phones they are cut off from the internet and from getting further help.
