This concept presented here is intended for be the cover of a box of cards. With the main intention to make each card a different vampiric character, we have planned to make the hearts set. With time, all the cards will be made and revealed, we can even consider to make the other sets in the long future.

This one in particular, it is very related with our blogs in particular but also the very thin multidimensional line, which separates faintly a world from another, as well for those concepts very linked to each character. The meaning behind them? It's up to you to find the hints and connect the points.

“Surely you’re joking,” a malicious sneer rose at the appalling suggestion, earning a disapproving sigh from the Vampire. “Absolutely not. Under no circumstances would I ever entertain such disrespect towards me. Why do you ask, anyway? Are you someone who seeks to claim another as your own, Cassandra? Leaving your own unique mark on them…? If so, then you and I are much more similar than I thought.”

Irritation swelled deep within his gelid heart at the mere thought of receiving what most Vampires could only consider as an insult from one who, unlike themselves, derive no nourishment from drinking blood.

“While I don’t enjoy being bitten myself, I prefer to do the biting. There’s something beyond satisfying about seeing the handiwork of my own ministrations inflicted on someone else, not to mention how a bite is akin to a much stronger, more passionate kiss. Sometimes a kiss alone doesn’t suffice in evincing how much I desire someone to the point of wanting to do everything that comes after a mere kiss and a bite.”

Settling the score from earlier, it would seem both had uncomfortable questions to inquire about one another, yet that didn’t stop Ruki from encroaching closer with a hint of a mischievous smirk; almost as if challenging the girl before him. 

“Although you may attempt to sink your teeth, rest assured, I am wholeheartedly prepared to demonstrate what a truly formidable bite looks like to you.”

A ‘knock knock’ was the start of this story. When a girl from foreign lands came to a place where the dark eclipsed her own brightness. The cold climate outside, in the place she stood waiting for the owners of the house, was the antonym of the ensoleillé climat she had on her birthplace. The travel on the chariot with the man without face was long and exhausting, but the excitement was wrote on her face with capital letters. Even if she saw in the monumental construction a similarity with the Baroque churches, those which had the task to minimize the human being, she found a particular good taste in the darkness that the place sustained. The wind made her golden hair move at the compass of her long dress. She closed her coat trying to keep the warm. In one hand she hold her suitcase filled with dreams, in the other hand, a letter of the one who wanted her here.

All her dreams were finally heard. That ‘knock knock’ was the starting line. The door opened, and two cold crimson eyes received her.

“Good afternoon, dear Sir. I pray you to forgive my late incoming, my name is Cassandra Bleucœur. I was invited to came here because of a kind recommendation of your highest member. Take this please, I hope you find on this the answers to your posible doubts” the girl who looked like the sun, extend the stamped letter to the one who she confounded with the butler of the household. Her fast speech probably was something the other occupants will never understand, but, thankfully, the one who received her with taciturn eyes was able to talk. The letter was signed for his father. Another bride finally arrived.

A ‘knock knock’ was the start of this story. Leaving thw organized workplace he has made for himself, he was excited. Even though the emotions fail to display on his handsome features. A youthful, stoic man heads towards the entrance of this ill fated mansion. Supposedly, a girl was sacrificed to this place. An unfortunate girl. It hadn't been long that they had a coming of age ceremony, but two brides have already ceased to live.

The gate of despair was opened. That ‘knock knock’ was the starting line. He observes the lady with his gaze, in appraising manner.

“Good afternoon. No dear, you're rather early, Cassandra”, taking the letter, he opened it to skim over the contentー which of courseー he already knew. His gaze returning to the girl, “I'm Reiji Sakamaki, the sevond son of this estate. And the letter is relevant. Come in, please”

Invitations to jump into the den of lions. An unfortunate girl. He leads her into the living room, her luggage being carried by another man who looked like an actual butler.... Sure his attire looks way formal to be a casual outfit. But just perfect to welcome a guest.

“The introduction will start in the evening. Cassandra, Do you know why you're here?”

Feeling Cassandra’s lips on her cheeks felt nice. Nunnally happily returned the gesture. She enjoyed Cassandra’s company more and more. They were not exactly close friends, but they were getting there slowly, weren’t they?

“Yes, Reiji is really good and caring. He’s the best one. He’s the second oldest in our family, but it sometimes feels that he is the oldest. He takes care not only of me, but also of our five brothers when our Father is away. And our Father is often away; he’s got that kind of work. But he is coming for Christmas to visit us, so I am super excited about that!” – Nunnally chattered happily – “And yes, hand-made presents are the best. I agree! I crocheted a few book covers for Reiji. For his favourite books and notebooks. I hope he’ll like them. And I also got an old book he might like. And a tea set that I painted myself..." - Nunnally was clearly excited about all the things she got for her brother - "But I still think that is not enough for all the love he’s giving me. So, an extra something would be nice.”

As Nunnally was talking about her presents for her beloved brother, she realized that Cassandra had faced the same challenge concerning that special person of hers. Was that person a friend? Or a care taker? Or perhaps someone closer to an older brother. She was curious, but Nunnally was not the one to ask.

“I am sure that mysterious person of yours would enjoy the little painting you made for him. As for books, I would suggest to look for some older editions of something he likes. These are good presents I have learnt. But I think I am done. I cannot really see anything I’d like to get here… But I might get a few of these Christmas sweaters for all my brothers, my father and myself. We might use it if we decide to play outside. Let’s go and check if they are any good…Perhaps you can get them too. As a sort of Christmas joke…” – Nunnally was laughing having real fun on this Christmas outing with Cassandra.

Utterly bewildered at the sight, Ruki could've sworn he saw a catlike visage rather than the usual puppy dog eyes with which one would beg. Shaking his head in disbelief, the compatibility result appeared, much to the Vampire's surprise.

"Something special... 'Flawless,' even," he rolled his eyes at the superficial descriptor. "Don't make me laugh. A generator couldn't possibly come to such a conclusion based on first glance only. In the words of 'God,' no less. Deities don't exist, so that's how you know this compatibility test likes to humor its participants with cloying lies. Although, I suppose we do share many of the same yet differing values and pastimes with one another. From our shared time in the library, to the thrill of learning new things. On a surface level, that could be viewed as 'perfect,' but a truly harmonious pair encourages growth in one another. Stay around long enough, and you may find yourself stagnating—no, descending—far from what can be deemed as 'love.' Perhaps this love meter and I aren't so different after all—demonstrating our love in the form of lies upon lies, upon lies..."

"Hm... A little bird told you that? How interesting, never thought you'd talk to these winged animals like a fairytale princess."

Irina innocently teased. She knew quite well that these types of events could excite the girl almost as much as she did.

As requested, the emerald-eyed woman moved closer to the human with subtle intrigue illuminating her irises. With the opposite's feminine hands in front of her, the Owl crouched slightly to get a better look at what she was hiding between her palms.

"Ah— this is..."

It was undoubtedly a surprise for her, she never saw a similar gift coming.

"A spider.... plushie...?"

"Pffft— ahahaha~!" A soft chuckle escaped Irina, echoing in her throat like a sigh.

Irina took the stuffed animal in her hands so she could appreciate its texture and look closer at its details. The blonde loved sewing and crafting the odd work, so that small detail would have fascinated her to contemplate.

"Ain't you adorable? I never had a gift like this never in my life... Makes me feel like a little young girl again—"

With a soft smile, Irina fixed her gaze again on the human's dawn, warm and bright like the sun itself.

"Thank you so much for this... Did you crafted it yourself?"

Tbh even though Irina is a person who aspires to get some freedom/ ability to do as she pleases, it is more for herself and not so much for her lover tho— She prefers to have some control over them and watch that everything is just like she likes it.

“This must be the immersive art exhibition I’ve heard so much about. How curious,” stormy blue eyes peered over the photos depicting Claude Monet’s works in 360° view, demonstrating a brilliant myriad of colors to the Vampire. “It certainly holds no candle to the original paintings that one would view in a traditional museum, but regardless, I suppose it’s akin to comparing eBooks to paperback—everyone ultimately has their preference. While I admit I’m more partial to the originals as opposed to their digital counterparts, given its tendency to turn every coveted masterpiece into a garish spectacle for the eyes of the modern-day aesthete, I would be remiss not to at least acknowledge an immersive exhibition’s ability to include us spectators as part of the artwork from all angles. I’ve yet to experience this for myself. Still though, at the end of the day, it’s simply a high-technological gallery compared to what I’ve grown so fond of.”

Before he could dismiss the frivolity completely, Ruki took a longer glance at the brochure, mulling over who could possibly enjoy such a display. The silhouette of an ambitious young woman instantly came to mind, one who had stumbled into his thoughts more and more frequently with each interaction.

“Hm. Perhaps she might entertain the idea…” he thought to himself. “It’s true that Cassandra might find something like this aesthetically captivating. There’s still so much that I don’t know about her, and yet I cannot help but find myself drawn to her artistic endeavors.”

🧩 Ahaha, forgive Ruki's tangent about this, I just wanted to write his reaction too. I'm so sorry for the late response to this, the truth is I really miss interacting with you and Cassie. I'd love to pick up their main thread together if that's okay (and neko!Cassie, I know it's been a while and I know his reaction to that will be priceless). But anyway, this immersive exhibition looks beautiful, it's making me want to visit one myself someday. Even though Ruki is critical about it, he'd definitely be willing to give it a try—especially with someone like Cassandra. 🧩

The Vampire’s body tensed up immediately upon the sudden contact, allowing her to at least give some sort of answer before he could withdraw himself as he normally would. Though he remained silent for a brief moment, Ruki gripped back tighter as though to give off a warning, seemingly intent on testing whether she would dare try anything else.

“Regardless, I suppose you have my attention now. Do speak up before I lose my patience,” he sighed. “You always know how to surprise me in such unexpected ways, Cassandra.”
