Rise Characterizations Pt. 7!!!!!!!

Well as per the poll I put up ages ago (uni caught up to me ah), here is all I've compiled on our favorite foot clan recruit.

Cassandra Jones

Language Habits:

Verbalizes her attacks, i.e. "knife throw"

Uses "Foot Clan" as a battle cry

Grunts a lot when she moves (very verbally reactive when fighting)

Punctuates her attacks with "hiya!"

Tendency to "Ha-ha!" when she's satisfied with an attack

Uses a lot of formal language, with rare instances of Japanese mixed in

Eloquent in her dramatism, think clinical words with dramatic intention "vanquish his soul to the depths of oblivion"

Calls both Foot Lt. and Foot Brute "Sensei"/"Senseis"

Personality:

Really, really intense. She's always at 110% energy.

A talented warrior. She's familiar with a lot of the weapons she's handed, and has stated she's been in the Foot Clan since she was young.

Violence-oriented. A lot of her dialogue and action is centered on crushing her foes, so she's motivated by the thrill of combat

Loyal to the core. No matter what cause she's gunning for, she's there until it succeeds. Even if it takes over her entire being.

Fanatic. One of the most loyal and well-versed Foot Clan members, despite only being a low-level recruit.

Holds a grudge. When Cass remembers a name she won't forget it. Mainly Jocelyn, who she laments her jealously upon often.

Ritualistic in place of efficiency. Cass always does things in the way she deems "right" or how she was taught they were done, even if it takes longer than usual, until she is shown a better way to do them.

Eager to prove herself. Cassandra is always looking for opportunities to prove herself, whether that be the Foot Clan by volunteering to go on every missions, or to the world by world domination via brownie sales.

Miscellaneous:

Prefers to be called "Casey" by her friends

Has been in training since she was seven

Carries kunai knives on her

Tends to prefer fighting with spears

As shown in posters in her room she enjoys hockey

Also her room is spartan clean and tidy

Later I'm planning on posting about the Foot Clan as a whole, which I will link back here later since I think it will be helpful to the background of her character!!!

How I feel that interactions between the 2012 and Rise! turtles would go if they ever met.

Mikey: Best friends automatically, chilling together and doing fun stuff. No arguing, unless it involves baking. Because I'm sorry, 2012 Mikey CANNOT cook. And the way Rise! Mikey is, Dr. Delicate Touch will be activated by that. I mean, this guy wants to be like Rupert Swaggart!

Leo: Their interaction would very much depend on when in the Rise!Verse they meet. If it's prior to Season 2's finale, they'd probably just be very confused with each other. But if it is between Season 2 and the Movie, they probably wouldn't get along because Rise! Leo is very irresponsible despite being leader. And if it's post-Movie, I don't think they'd argue (mainly because Rise! Leo and Rise! Raph had already argued about that), but would probably be awkward because how they lead and act around their brothers is very different from each other, with Rise! Leo being much more laid back.

Raph: 2012 Raph might pick a fight with Rise! Raph at first, but later mellow out towards him.

Donnie: I'm sorry, but based off of "Donnie vs. Witchtown", Rise! Donnie would absolutely start beefing with 2012 Donnie due to feeling that 2012 Donnie may take his place. And like how Rise! Donnie does in other episodes when he is mad at someone, if anyone confronts him about it, he'll probably deny it. And with the way 2012 Donnie is, the situation will definitely get a lot worse before it gets better.

April: They'd get along very well. They'd probably be confused about just how different the two of them are from each other and how different their relationships with the turtles are at first, but that wouldn't really affect their friendship whatsoever.

Casey: Rise! Casey (Cass) and 2012 Casey would definitely first get into a physical fight with each other the moment they meet, because they are Caseys. However, right after the fight, they'd suddenly be the best of friends. Then Casey Jr. will just be standing at the edge awkwardly, being the one non-feral Casey Jones.

So...I'm re-watching ROTTMNT.

In episode 19, Casey says "I was accepted into every clan I applied to."

SHE HAD OTHER OPTIONS.

Why did she stay with the Foot Clan when they treated her so badly?! Are the other clans gone or closed their positions? Did she believe strongly in staying loyal to the Foot? Was she trying to challenge herself or prove herself worthy by forcing herself to go through intense trials????

This is literally a toxic relationship!!! She had better options but stayed anyways because she wanted to prove herself or smth!

Have you seen a boy that is just so? ft him in mikeys clothes after his first shower, him playing chess w Leo (Leo is portaling pieces every time he looks away), baby Casey’s, present day clothing design (tshirt and tank top option), and him absolutely punching a guy that was lightly teasing his friend (crush) because ill be damned if i make a version of casey that isn’t at least a little overkill and aggressive. he’s got apocalypse brain (trauma, bad modern social skills, and overprotectiveness)

I was looking at his design again and for some reason I never really noticed the wrist thing under his glove? I don’t think we see his hands in the movie and it very well could be something like Donnie’s wrist pad and is simply a device for his grappling hook buuuuut as we see in the shot where Donnie accidentally sets the grappling hook off, the grappling hook is pretty chunky and is stored INSIDE this gray thing, which means that it would be inside his arm. Yes this is stylized and is probably using cartoon logic but I’m just gonna choose to believe that it’s actually a cool future donnie built bionic arm

Also I told myself I would only post art when I finished my fanfic but it’s kinda long and taking me forever. Everyone is legally required to look at my boy
