"Are you certain of this? Is there no other you would prefer?"
"If there is one I would trust to shade and nurture our youngest apprentices much like the stalwart oaks of our forests, it would be you. Consider this my thanks for years of a job well done."
The Oaken Annex is finally open! «TOA» is a small workshop based within the Lavender Beds that acts as an extension and pick up location for The Oak Atrium, the carpentry guild of Gridania. Focusing primarily on existing commissions and local home and furniture/trinket repairs, this Annex was established by Timbermaster Beatin to not only increase their forces and workload in the wake of worldly trade and their continued assistance with Ishgard's Restoration efforts but to also offer a location where goods do not need to be transported so far to their new owner's homes.
Kel is the "foreman" or overseer of this location, having proved himself as a longtime dependable carpenter in his own right. With his gentle tone and patient nature, he is unsurprisingly a fantastic teacher to the guild's youngest apprentices and as such tutiledge under his wing is highly sought after for those who are a little more intimidated by the Timbermaster himself. Still, he frequently is abroad to help in Ishgard (and other places, though none are quite sure just exactly where he goes or what he's doing) so when he returns with little gifts in tow he's rather hard to get alone for a conversation.
OOC info, I'm so glad to see this place up and running! I didn't expect to have a home again so soon - about a month ago I left my prior FC of years and years that I helped found from scratch due to personal/moral differences and immediately after I learned everybody else either left or was kicked out as well. With nowhere to go I gathered us all back up in a new discord and set up The Oaken Annex based off a background lore idea I've had for Kel for a while. They were more than excited to band together and before I knew it we had a newborn FC the next day and just last week was the first time we were finally able to bid on a plot. Balmung being Balmung, there were only 2 small plots open and the one we wanted had over 350 bids, so we didn't have much hope. Though, it must have been meant to be because we managed to win it!
I sat down and worked myself to the bone all weekend to craft and plan and DC/world hop for best markerboard pricing to build them a nice comfy place to rest as a thank you and slowly start to get the group RP storyline up and running again. I may not have a personal room set up just yet, but at least the main building is done :>
Come visit us and say hi to the carpenters! We're located on Balmung, Lavender Beds Ward 13 Plot 15 and the doors are always open ✨

Random fun post :) ((New Age))
So, I think that a thing with me is that I mention Dream is afraid of storms, I have a fear of storms, and then I procceeded not to elaborate. So I am going to type out a drabble on here with no editing and see how far I get before my roommate gets back or I get sick of it. (Honestly this is just an exercise in seeing how I plan these thangs out-)
-> Dream and Blue have established themselves in the old cottage, but are just settling in, so their group and supporters have yet to establish the camp around the clearing. For the time being, it's just Dream and Blue working out plans and deciding what their next move should be. (Notes: The cabin has two twin-sized beds. They dont stay seperate for long.)
It'd been a good week so far. Dream was glad to see the cottage when they'd first arrived, and Blue had been a deft hand at clearing out any critters, patching holes in the roof and slats between the logs of the wall, and seeing what furniture inside was still salvagable. His father's friend was a carpenter, he claimed. He'd taken an apprenticeship with them as a child and learned a thing or two. Dream had largely watched in awe, or disppeared outside to to some cleaning of the large garden space. Their first week out, Blue had taught him how to uproot plants, and since everything in the garden planted by its old owners was long dead, Dream decided he'd do some fixing up of it while Blue did repairs.
Their tings were stached safely inside the building in the bedroom, the first room they secured and repaired. It had a pair of beds inside which reminded Dream vaguely of his childhood room he shared with his twin, only now fallen into disrepair. They'd had to discard the old blankets, torn to shreds by various wild guests, but they weren't so far away from town that they couldn't get replacements and new sets of quilts to lay beneath them for comfort.
Dream got the bed closer to the door, if only because Blue admantly believed the ground-floor window to be more of a threat, even though at night they would close the heavy wooden shutters left over from the last owner, blocking views of the outside. Right now, his supplies, changes of clothes, and everything else sat safe in a trunk they'd found and emptied, only his bow laid out on his bed in an easy-to-grab location. Meanwhile Blue had his supplies tucked underneath the other bed, his spare armor and bedroll hiding in the dark. it felt good to share a room with someone again. Even if Blue's breathing was much louder and erratic than Night's used to be.
Right now, Dream sat at the edge of the stream which ran through the property. Another thing Blue had taught him to do was wash things. Clothes, weapons, blankets. Currently he was washing off the old, rusty trowel he'd found half-buried in the yard. The rust was stubborn, but Dream swore the more he scrubbed, circles as he'd been taught, that it seemed to give way. And, honestly, he was so enamored by the gross, reddish, bloody color which occassionally chipped away and seeped onto his fingertips, he hadn't noticed the sky growing dark, nor the wind picking up.
Only when raindrops finally graced his skull did he think to look up at the sky above him. Cloudy. Grey. Twisting.
His stomach did an impossible flip at the sight, and he found himself dropping the trowel there on the grassy bed beside the stream, before high-tailing it across the lawn and back to where the cottage stood. He'd have been ashamed for fleeing so quickly, but when his boot collided with the little porch outfront and his hand connected with the handle, the sky split with a crack of lightning. It lit the rain-speckled stone beneath his feet and momentarily cast his shadow tall on the door before him. His soul seized as he tugged open the door and shut it behind him, just before the entire structure shook with a loud crash of thunder.
The storms in the kingdom had been horrible, he wasn't sure what caused it, but he had to imagine nature itself was troubled by his twin's corrupted rule. By the imbalance. That's what he told himself, at least. Why else would his hands be trembling against the doorknob like a newborn fown's spindly legs? Why else would he be holding the door shut, as though that would somehow keep the storm from flooding his soul with terror?
It felt like ages as he stood there, stiffly. Too afraid to back away from the door, and too startled by each shaking rumble of the sky from outside. Through the glass he could hear the shrill whistle of the rain whipping violently between the trees.
He refused to look out the windows, lest-
"Dream?" that voice, familiar, snapped him out of his trance, for just a moment. Long enough to snap his hands to his chest, like the knob had been boiling hit under his palms, "Are you alright? What's wrong?"
His knight rushed into his view as he stood there, still feeling stunned by a bolt of lightning which hadn't even hit him. Blue's eyelights were wide and bright, big orbs of mana sitting proudly in his skull, examining Dream's face, then his arms, then his chest, his legs, no doubt scanning for an injury. Dream didn't answer his question, and Blue settled on an answer himself when his eyelights settled back to look at Dream's trembling hands.
"The storm, right." Blue supplied to himself, before his expression moved from worried into something brighter. Dream could taste nothing but fondness rolling from Blue as he extended his own gloved hands and pulled Dream's away from where they clutched at his tunic. He held them out in the air between the two of them, his hands were strong, "Have no fear! The Magnificent Blue apologizes for being tardy, but now he is here, and reayd to rpotect you from any big bad storm!"
Dream saw the determined, silly grin on his face, and let himself smile just a bit. Nodding along to Blue's declaration. Blue always made him feel better.
Though, the storm was equally good at unsettling him. Just as Blue seemed to believe he'd won, there was another bright flash of lightning and an immediate rumble which made Dream flinch before he could control himself. Staring at the space where Blue held his hands like a life-line. The thunder was too loud, the rain pounded the windows now, and the wind still whistled, high and insistant.
"Hmm, it's a heavy one. Let's go get comfy, wait it out! How does that sound?" Blue glanced at the windows, before making his suggestion. He waited for Dream to nod along in vehement agreement before Blue walked backwards to lead him into the branch-off room from the main entrance.
The room they'd just been in was larger, with a space to cook, couches and chairs, and old rickety bookshelves devoid of any decor. it was a large space they planned on filling with life by the time they were done here. The room they entered, moving past a single door, was that room with the two beds, the big desk, Dream's trunk, and some old rugs that were still good enough to use. it was smaller, and cozy, in comparison. It also helped that the one window to the outside had already been shuttered, never opened from the night before.
Blue guided him inside, ignoring the shaking of another bought of thunder, before gently shoving Dream to sit on his bed. He managed to slip his hands out of Dream's grip, just long enough to pull the Prince's blanket up and around his shoulders, and excuse himself for just a second.
Dream was distressed to let Blue leave his arm's length for even a moment, but found he was much more intrigued when Blue rushed over to his cot and... with little effort, he shoved his bed over, leaving the objects which had been neatly stacked beneath discarded on the gorund. The wood of his frame clattered against the edge of Dream's, and he watched in befuddlement as Blue shifted around his own sheets. Then he tugged his blanket off his cot and pulled it over himself and his dirty day-clothes with a grin.
"There we go!" He announced, clearly unaware, or ignoring, Dream's confused face. "We're not on the bedrolls anymore, so I figure this will just be easier to allow you you to feel secure without worrying about our comfort. Proximity is key!" Blue was an angle.
Dream actually smiled at that, unable to focus on the next rumble of thunder as he pulled himself onto the center of his bed, and then closer to where Blue had planted himself upright towards the center. It was a lot like their first night Dream had seen the storms. Blue had let Dream curl around him like some frightened snake, unbothered by the proximity, claiming it was just his duty. A friend helping a friend. A knight helping his prince. Dream had been mortified after, but Blue truly only felt pride at being able to watch over Dream in a moment of weakness. Dream appreciated him, and tried to channel a burst os positive aura as he settle in to lay against Blue's side.
The knight just pulled the blanket up tighter around Dream's shoulders and reassured him that he wouldn't move an inch, and that his patch-work was wonderful. Unrivaled. No water would get in.
#new age au#honestly got father than I thought I would#but#just a fun lil drabble or a drabble because I'm tired and wanted to have a bit of fun with an idea that I wouldn't look into until way late#otherwise#I'm.. probably going to hate this in the morning#but whatever haha!#(I like to think when Dream is genuinely afraid he stops talking. Like. Can't muster his first line of defense. Which is talking.)

A relationship—of any type—platonic, romantic, professional, whatever—is a piece of furniture.
Bill giving Ford the secrets of the universe and the answers to ancient questions and all sorts of esoterica and occult knowledge? That's gold leaf. Financially valuable. Pretty. Distracting. Optional.
Thirty years ago, Bill spent several years building a table with Ford. And he pulled out a bunch of gold leaf and painted all over it—giving Ford little glimpses of the future, little useful nuggets of info—and Ford said, damn, that's the fanciest table I've ever seen. Look at how it shines. Aren't I lucky.
And then came the portal test and Bill smashed the table with a sledgehammer.
And then, as Ford was left with the shattered pieces of the table, he could see for the first time that he'd brought sturdy solid oak legs to their table construction project, but Bill had only brought cheap-ass Ikea particleboard for the tabletop. Particleboard and gold leaf.
Now, thirty years later, Bill says he wants to be friends with Ford again—he tries to buy back his friendship with offers of power and knowledge—he's painting gold leaf on a broken table. He's looking at Ford and saying "hey, how come we never use that table anymore? Pal?" He doesn't acknowledge that it's been smashed in half. He won't even so much as admit he brought flimsy particleboard.
The thing is, Ford likes furniture with gold leaf. He likes the knowledge, the secrets, the gifts. But all the gold leaf in the world won't coax him to try to have lunch on thirty-year-old trashed particleboard. He'd rather spitefully scrape the gold leaf off into a baggie and take it home and leave Bill and his stupid table behind.
As long as Bill keeps caking gold leaf on splinters, he's never getting anywhere. He won't get anywhere unless he admits the particleboard is busted. Until he tries to fix it, realize it's too crumbly to repair, pries it off, and brings a proper damn tabletop to attach to those legs—and on top of that he'll probably have to beg on his knees for Ford to risk handing the legs over again.
Bill's a shitty carpenter. Good luck, Bill.

Could you tell us about the skills that MC could excel at?
I'd love to, Anon!
The main skill/interest/occupation your MC can have are one of the following:
Logging-Loggers mainly cut down trees, shape and split logs for use in building and such, or even cut firewood. This is how Papa got his start and then eventually also worked his way into carpentry (it takes some time, so this is as far as MC will be, but eventually they can also do carpentry). MCs that pick this may have special options or outcomes in the story because they will have better aptitude towards wielding a tool/weapon and will, in general, be stronger.
Carpentry-Carpenters take the wood from loggers and make things from it - furniture has a big market, but so do tools, utensils, and even art. They work in the fine details and beautification of wood. They also may be called upon to do some repairs to a home or assist in building bigger projects. MCs with this skill will have deft hands and an eye for detail.
Swordsmanship-If your MC has studied the blade, they're likely going to called upon to work as a guard or general peacekeeper for the area. MC's hometown is a bit sleepy, but isn't without trouble since it sees a fair few travelers. Duals are also a common form of entertainment as well as practice. MC's with this skill will have boost in hostile situations out in the world and be, in general, stronger.
Archery-If your MC has studied the bow they will also be called upon for guard duty. This is another very popular form of entertainment and sportsmanship in the world and there are almost never-ending tournaments that MC can be apart of both in and around the MC's hometown (this nets a lot of gold). MC's that master the bow will be second in skill only to their da (even if Oswin claims otherwise). MC's with this skill have a boost (from a distance) in battle, and nice strong arms. [This skill almost got a split between sporting (doing the competitions) and hunting, but there is already too much coding involved as is, so I didn't do it.]
Medicine/Herbalism-You need a healer in every party and MC can be a darn good one. MC's that study medicine mostly work with the established healer, Kavi, and his wife Betony (who specializes in midwifery). Lakota, MC's best friend, is also a practicing herbalist and will work with a healer MC. If your MC knows medicine, they'll not be as good in a fight, but a boon after it's over (assuming they are conscious...).
Trade-MC's that learned trade will be the money makers. They know what things are worth and can strike a deal with almost anyone. They may tend to be a bit more charismatic without much effort (they don't even need to be especially friendly, people just trust them). These MC's have a mind for numbers as well and are often good at spotting a scam. Not always so good in a fight though.
Cooking-MC's that have mastered cooking draw a great deal of attention from the wealthy. Eating isn't always a luxury in this world and need often comes before taste. Those that can forego need and afford the finer foods in life, will clamor for your MC's cooking. They prepare feasts and raise everyone's spirits with their skills. They have a lot of connections in high places. Cook MCs may not be super powerful (though those arms from kneading dough are nothing to balk at), but they wield knives with terrifying grace.
In Chapter 3 your MC will also get to pick a hobby that they primarily do for fun, but that may add some extra flavor for their usual occupation. [Singing, drawing/painting, sculpting, storytelling, whittling, and needlework]
Thank you for the ask, Anon! ^_^

Many of your economic development plans call for the LPs to climb the "value-added chain". In a late medieval context, what value-added product would give you the most bang for your buck when it comes to timber?
Timber is a bit trickier than the classic case of textiles (where there are more links in the value-added chain from raw wool to carded wool to spun thread to plain woven cloth to dyed cloth to higher-end fabrics).
The first place to start is to shift from timber (i.e, the harvesting of raw, unprocessed logs from trees) to lumber (treating and seasoning, and sawing the logs into standardized boards, planks, beams, posts, and the like that can be used by carpenters to make furniture, housing, etc.). This requires the construction of sawmills (usually water- or wind-powered), usually downstream from the timberland so that logs can be easily floated down to the sawmill rather than going to the effort and expense of carting them overland.
The next step is to encourage the development of associated industries like furniture-making, construction...and most prized of all, ship-building. These industries continue to climb the value-added chain, because there's more money to be made from selling artisan furniture than selling raw logs and more money to be made in real estate than selling planks retail, and thus they allow you to maximize your profits from your natural resources. More importantly, if you can get into ship-building, you not only make money from selling and repairing the ships, but it's a pretty easy step from there to branch out into commerce on your own account (since you are already producing the main capital investment that seaborn commerce requires).
This is why various forms of Navigation Acts were often a key strategy of mercantilist policy during the Commercial Revolution, because if you could make sure that foreign trade was carried out by your nation's ships crewed by your sailors and your pilots and financed by your merchants, that the profits from trade would be more likely to be re-invested at home rather than exported to someone else's country.

Jericho's Upcycling - Galley-La and Lifestyle!
Hello! I must start by saying, I don't expect anyone to be well-versed in my oc-lore. I like to write about it in a way to archive my ideas, and if people are interested or curious, that's a bonus! Jericho didn't like feeling like a 'patient in care' when living in the Revolutionary Army HQ. She was rescued from a community service prison (now abbreviated as a BMBD by the RA, Black Market Business Directory, where prisoners partake in 'community service', but are actually rented out as pawns for criminal activity and any other other services that brought in money) after it was discovered she was being preserved to be eaten. (The discovery of Jericho's fate also initiated the investigation into the BMBD as an illegal establishment) Her, uh, mentor? Named Rabba Dakki (my OC) Recommended her to board on at Galley-La, his mate Iceburg wasn't open to just anyone, of course, but Jericho offered her unique skills in up-cycling to Iceburg (as opposed to ship building and carpentry.) An opportunity to save materials, and in turn save money. That's good for any company, so at the expense of providing her accommodation in his office, Iceburg took Jericho on board as head of recycling. Well, she was the only one working in recycling, so. You know. She's the head of it now, I guess. Good for her. The job was perfect for her, she was able to provide hands in a team based environment whilst still remain in her own solitude. A little recycling ward, scraps piled and organised by material, screws and lids in little boxes. Wood was often mended with screws or reduced to woodchip to repurpose, ready for use for carpenters. Not one piece of wood went to waste with Jericho around! Her own little kitchenette, complete with a kettle and teabags; a huge wash basin she built herself to clean dirty materials and tools (she spent a lot of time inspecting complicated, seemingly mundane structures at the BMBD prison, the pipes of the public showers were exposed, so she was able to fully understand it's mechanisms). A textile suite, usually for repairs of ship sails, but Galley-La workers would sometimes deposit torn garments there.
Jericho loves the process of up-cycling, taking junk and transforming it into something to adorn the surroundings or something useful. It surrounds her life, incorporating it into her own habitats. Though, she can be very stubborn about throwing away items that still have use in them, like a 10 year old pillow that is yellowing from sweat: "Well, it is still comfortable for sleeping, is it not?" A lot of her rooms furnishings are mismatched and clash slightly with the variety of patterns, she isn't fussy, but the final image as a result in this is somewhat charming. Her furniture is an accumulation of second hand items, things she has found in scrap heaps and bits she just can't let go of no matter how battered and destroyed. Possibly a minimalists worst nightmare.
TLDR:
jericho's main word is: resourcefulness
she hates wasting things
she hates getting rid of things that are still functional just because they no longer suit an aesthetic
of course, this ties into her being a vulture (devil fruit), they eat the scraps of animal fall, they're naturally resourceful creatures
she believes every scrap has another use!! and she will find a purpose for a piece of junk to serve!
(extra) she's not keen on opulence, she much prefers rustic, simple, maximalism. to her, opulence gives the impression of needless luxury
get this guy outta here bro

Pest Control Services in Al Barari: Comprehensive Solutions for a Pest-Free Environment
Al Barari, a luxurious and eco-conscious residential community in Dubai, is renowned for its lush landscapes and serene surroundings. With its close connection to nature, the community inevitably faces pest-related challenges. Whether it’s common household pests like cockroaches, ants, and spiders, or larger infestations like rodents and termites, managing pests is a crucial aspect of maintaining a clean and healthy living environment. To preserve the beauty and hygiene of the homes in Al Barari, professional pest control services play a vital role.
This article dives deep into the importance of pest control, the types of services available in Al Barari, and why choosing a professional pest management company is essential for long-term protection.
Why Pest Control is Essential in Al Barari
Pest control is not just about keeping your property clean but is also critical for safeguarding health, preserving your home’s structural integrity, and maintaining comfort.
1. Health and Safety
Pests such as cockroaches, mosquitoes, and rodents are known carriers of diseases. Cockroaches, for example, spread bacteria like E.coli and Salmonella, while mosquitoes can transmit viruses like dengue and malaria. Rodents can also carry serious illnesses, including hantavirus and leptospirosis. An uncontrolled infestation increases the risk of health hazards, making it essential to implement pest control services that target the root cause of the problem.
2. Structural Integrity
Pests like termites and carpenter ants can compromise the structural integrity of homes in Al Barari. Termites, in particular, feed on wood, causing significant damage to wooden foundations, walls, and furniture. Over time, termite infestations can weaken the structure of your home, resulting in costly repairs. Regular termite inspections and prevention treatments by pest control experts help mitigate this risk.
3. Preserving Comfort
Insects and rodents can invade homes in search of food, water, and shelter. This intrusion disrupts the tranquility of living in Al Barari, causing discomfort and inconvenience to residents. An infestation of ants, cockroaches, or spiders can create an unpleasant living environment, reducing the overall quality of life.
4. Preventing Property Damage
Pests such as rodents are notorious for chewing through electrical wiring, which can lead to electrical malfunctions or even fire hazards. Moreover, other pests, including termites, moths, and beetles, may attack furniture, fabrics, and stored food products, leading to property damage and financial losses. Effective pest control is essential to maintain the quality and value of your home and belongings.
Common Pests in Al Barari
Pest problems in Al Barari range from small insects to larger rodents, all of which require specialized treatment. Let’s explore the common types of pests and the best methods to control them.
1. Cockroaches
Cockroaches are highly adaptable pests that can survive in a variety of conditions. They tend to invade kitchens and bathrooms, where they can contaminate food and spread harmful bacteria. Regular treatment with cockroach bait and insecticide sprays can effectively control infestations. Pest control companies in Al Barari use eco-friendly solutions to eradicate cockroaches while ensuring the safety of residents and pets.
2. Ants
Ants are a persistent problem in many homes, particularly during warmer months. These pests typically invade in search of food, leaving behind trails that lead other ants to the same source. Professional pest control treatments target ant colonies, ensuring long-term prevention. Services often include perimeter spraying and sealing entry points to prevent re-infestation.
3. Mosquitoes
The green landscapes and water features of Al Barari can create a breeding ground for mosquitoes. These blood-sucking insects are not only a nuisance but also pose health risks by transmitting diseases such as West Nile virus, Zika, and dengue fever. Pest control companies provide mosquito control services by treating breeding areas, applying larvicides, and using fogging techniques to reduce mosquito populations.
4. Termites
Termites are one of the most destructive pests, especially for properties with wooden structures. They feed on cellulose found in wood, which can cause severe damage if left unchecked. Professional termite control services in Al Barari include termite inspections, bait systems, and soil treatments. These services help prevent termites from entering your property and protect the structure from further damage.
5. Rodents
Rodents, such as rats and mice, can be a significant problem for homes and gardens. They not only spread diseases but can also cause extensive property damage by gnawing on wires, pipes, and insulation. Rodent control services in Al Barari involve trapping, baiting, and exclusion techniques to remove and prevent rodent infestations.
6. Spiders
Although most spider species are harmless, their presence in homes can be unsettling for many residents. Certain species, such as the black widow and brown recluse, can pose health risks due to their venomous bites. Spider control services include identifying and treating webs, as well as removing clutter and debris that can harbor these pests.
Pest Control Solutions in Al Barari
Al Barari residents can choose from a variety of pest control services, tailored to their specific needs. Here are some of the most effective pest management solutions available:
1. General Pest Control
General pest control services cover a broad range of common household pests, including cockroaches, ants, spiders, and rodents. These services typically involve regular treatments to eliminate existing infestations and prevent future occurrences. Pest control companies use a combination of eco-friendly sprays, baits, and traps to manage pests while minimizing environmental impact.
2. Termite Control
Termite control services are essential for protecting the wooden structures in your home. Pest control companies conduct termite inspections to detect signs of infestations and apply treatment options such as soil barriers, bait systems, and liquid treatments. These methods create a protective barrier around your property to prevent termites from entering.
3. Rodent Control
Rodent control services focus on trapping and removing rodents from your home. Professional exterminators use bait stations, traps, and exclusion techniques to keep rodents from re-entering your property. Sealing entry points and removing potential food sources are critical steps in long-term rodent prevention.
4. Mosquito Control
Mosquito control involves treating stagnant water areas where mosquitoes breed and applying insecticides to reduce their population. Pest control professionals use fogging and misting systems to treat larger outdoor areas, ensuring a mosquito-free environment for residents.
5. Bed Bug Treatment
Bed bugs can be a nightmare for homeowners, as they can quickly spread and cause discomfort. Professional bed bug treatments include heat treatments, steam treatments, and insecticide applications to eliminate bed bugs at all stages of their life cycle.

So, fanfic ideas.... If JJK and HxH characters were in No Power world, what would their job be if not become Jujutsu Sorcerer or Hunter (in your opinion)? Why? Please pick your top 5 fav characters from each.....
HxH
I have written several no powers moder AUs for this fandom. There's a lot that can be done with these guys.
Gon
I often put Gon in some field researcher shoes, in some biology filed, I did entomology and marine biology. But any specialisation suits him as long as he can go and observe by himself. He could also do some pro sport, team sports are interesting for him because how his personality is kinda both suited for it and clashes with it. I have also pictured Gon as an investigator and an artist, as he's very curious by nature and also creative.
Killua
For me Killua always starts off trapped in the plans his parents make for him. He's following his parents clan plans, be it business, law, medicine, competitive sport. And you can either make him try to make it his own or try to break off into something else. He's analytical and good at handling things and planning ahead so administrative work actually suits XD what a horrible thing to say. But also jobs that would lean into his protective side.
Alluka
She gives me very strong creative vibes, so any art or design related job suits her. She would also be good with people, she lives with Nanika and such cohabitation requires a lot of people skills.
Nanika
She wants to be around others but also to heal, so I see her as a doctor.
Canary
I've written her as an engineer, as a journalist, doctor. She gives off a nerdy vibe but she also has very high integrity. She could also do well as a fixer, considering how well she handled Amane.
Leorio
Doctor is obvious, it's a normal job. But he could also be any form of activist or idealistic politician. He could work as a community organiser, or someone helping troubled youth. He has this strong drive for serious societal change.
____________
JJK
I've never written a modern AU for this fandom.
Yuuji
Gege said that Yuuji would be a firefighter if he wasn't a sorcerer and that's a very good job for him. But any first responder job suits him. He's also good with animals so he could work at a rescue or sanctuary. He could also do well in medical fields because he's kind and strong and listens to what others tell him. He would make a great nurse or physiotherapist. But also a surgeon, that requires a lot of stamina and strength. Though doctor would feel more like mum pushing him into things because he's not very bookish. But we know his mum is capable of steering his life and development.
Nobara
Model, actress, idol - she's got the drive for it and the interest in being seen, making her mark. But also engineer, mechanic, repair person and obviously a carpenter. Wood has a lot of personality and I think she'd appreciate that. I could see her making furniture.
Kenjaku
They are very versatile. They could be a researcher, human reproduction comes to mind first, but to be honest whatever would catch their fancy they would just go for it. They are clearly a jujutsu and barrier nerd, so that could translate to physics or mathematics or maybe psychology? They could also embrace a career in comedy. But I also see Kenjaku as doing spy stuff, running intelligence or counter intelligence operations. They are so good at plotting, putting pieces on the board exactly where they want it.
Sukuna
Any high powered job would suit him, anything that would let him look down on others - business, politics, organised crime. But also teaching, especially university teaching, omg he has the professor vibes. He knows so much and he judges others on not having studied enough. But he also wants his students to excel, it's just that they will excel through tears, cursing his name. He could also be a therapist, some people in jjk already think he is one.
Yorozu
Scientist and engineer suit her. Cybernetics would be good for her, or working exotic materials and states of matter. Entomology too but more as a hobby that informs her studies. But also a wedding planner, she absolutely knows what's up. She'd specialise in theme weddings.
#answering asks#jjk#hxh#hunter x hunter#jujutsu kaisen#gon freecss#killua zoldyck#alluka zoldyck#nanika#leorio#canary hxh#itadori yuuji#kenjaku#nobara kugisaki#sukuna#yorozu#headcanon#i got this ask twice but idk if that's from 2 people or a tumblr glitch#i will answer it only once#also i will slowly get to the other asks
