my favorite thing to do when rereading Cinder is to imagine what other characters are doing in the timeline. like what is Thorne up to right now as Cinder is walking through the palace talking to Kai?(he’s wallowing in jail) what is Scarlet doing as Cinder confronts Pearl over the gloves Kai gave her? where is Winter and what is she thinking while Kai mourns his father’s death? (she’s on Luna but that’s not the point)
