brief intro to natal and solar progressions

you'll like this one. here's how it goes: the progressed chart in fact is the natal chart, but every planet moved one degree forward per one year of your life.

for instance, i was born with my sun at 10° libra, right on the horizon. but over 24 years, it moved to 4° scorpio as of 2021, and now sits in the first house. or, the moon moved from gemini to taurus, all into a way different house since the ASC also shifted from libra to scorpio. the big three are all fixed and i'm no longer venus but mars ruled.

depending on how long i'll live, i'll spend my adult life being a scorpio (thank god), retire as a sagittarius, and spend the sunset years an early capricorn. which i all love and find fitting for those periods of life. i think it's all arranged for us so it fits. in other words, if you live an average length life, you will be 3 to 4 zodiacs. you get to try out an entire season worth of sun signs, and also 3-4 natal chart houses as well.

your whole chart progresses that way, each house and axis and celestial body. next to transits, that's the most dynamic calculation you can do in astrology. especially if someone grows tired or resentful of their natal chart, that's refreshing news, you always get a new chart every year 🙌 and every time your solar progression enters a new sign, your life often changes for the better.

it's sort of an annual snapshot and represents your personal progress, your recent personality (the lunar progression shows that the very most because the moon = our character). so, the charts are both the same, just for different times: your birth time serving as an overarching forecast and cornerstone, and the current year explicitly.

in tarot terms, it's basically spinning your own wheel of fortune. or, the natal chart becomes the evermoving clock of your life, which is fascinating, 12 hours, 12 signs. i think charts should really be used like that to see the person as they change continuously. many of us tend to resonate the most with our current progressed sun and moon rather than the natal placement. simply because it's more up to date.

What a nice present for Jimmy: Venus trine Mars in earth signs. Fanning myself vigorously. Like I said in the weekly forecast - if you must have relations, take every precaution if you don’t want a baby. Earth manifests energy physically, with matter. Let’s hope all that humping doesn’t overshadow the other big aspect today, the annual Merc-Saturn conjunction. We’re supposed to be working on our “independence of thought and perception” over the next couple of months, and this will show us how seriously we need to take that mission. There’s an energy of enthusiasm around new or growing relationships which attracts more positive energy. This is the best time to be creative and expect miracles!

11/24 ~ Mars (energy) ~oppose~ Uranus (radical shift):

This is a mixed blessing. On one hand, this energy can bring on impulsive, reactionary behavior. You can have sudden outbursts of anger or frustration with a strong need to be ‘free’ from whatever you are perceiving as a limitation or holding you back (person or circumstance). The best use of this energy is to consciously direct your energy to free yourself from any restrictions – self-imposed or otherwise. This is a time when you will be extremely motivated to do whatever it takes to live freely (by your own definition). Do not suppress this energy as that will only make it blow up in your face, at a most inconvenient time. Use this activation to check your Self and determine what you deeply desire, what your definition of freedom is and what you are willing to do to live a more authentic life.

11/25 ~ Venus Enters Capricorn:

Venus rules everything we care about, love & value. Capricorn energy is all about that which supports & protects what we love & value. It also rules how you make decisions and structure the foundation of your life, what holds it all together and it often represents your individual ‘container’ for your personal life. It’s the lesson of being responsible for your thoughts, feelings, words & deeds and understanding how they are all connected to the physical reality of your life. Your outer reality reflects your inner reality. It’s about building inner strength & fortitude that automatically creates outer order & stability. Capricorn is Ruled by Saturn, which is the last visible planet and speaks to our definition of reality, as well as our physical limits. Saturn is about dedication to the step-by-step process that accomplishes the long term/big goal that will ultimately support more than just you and yours. Right now, for the only time in 28-years, Saturn is in its home sign of Capricorn lending even more weight to this stellar activation. This Sagittarian energy comes on the cusp between the Old Path and the New Path. Opportunities will be presented and you will find out how you’re evolving by the choices and commitments you make going forward. No longer can we agree to terms which hold no meaning or value for the individual or the community. The Global Family has expanded, our consciousness has evolved and the vibratory frequency of the planet has raised considerably. If Saturn’s taught us nothing in the last 2+ years, adjustments must be made if you’re going to live your own Truth & Story (and not someone else’s imposed upon you). Building constructs to support a more balanced existence THIS lifetime will require time, energy and resources to birth in our 3D/reality. On the other hand, the *invisible* (thought) ALWAYS precedes the *visible* results (form). And Sagittarius is all about what you BELIEVE before you even have a clue what you want to or are capable of building in Capricorn.

11/27 ~ Neptune Direct 15* Pisces: If the Moon represents the individual womb, then Neptune is the collective womb. When it retrogrades annually, we are given an opportunity to consciously develop something, usually related to healing & wholeness. The retrogrades always encourage us to go within and heal, make-whole or integrate something critical to our well-being. What healing have you been working on personally, since June 2019? Neptune is most commonly known as the planet of dreams and visions. So on a normal day, Neptune creates the desire to daydream, create, visualize the ideal outcome (to life, relationship, project, etc.), it tends to see everything through rose colored glasses, putting its hopeful spin on it all. When Neptune Retrogrades, it may be less shocking than Uranus or Pluto, but no less effective. It’s primary goal during a Retrograde is to gently dissolve personal boundaries. You start to realize your connection to the whole. Not a bad idea, but to some, it can be unsettling if they are rigidly holding onto boundaries for a false sense of security. Hopefully, you’ve been able to reconnect to your Spirit in a way that helps you navigate the world better going forward, now that it is Direct.

What’s Hidden Can Be Found|Tyrus Summer Camp AU (complete!)

Camp Lowland sleepaway camp is an hour drive from Shadyside, where tensions and disagreements have been left for time to mend. But what will Tj and Cyrus do when the past comes chasing after them? Follow the Good Hair Crew and The Good Boys through their annual two-month stay in the wilderness where nature does not care for petty arguments and time has only worsened their situation.

Chapter 4: Forecast

They sunk like a ton of rocks, Cyrus closed his eyes and let the water surround him. The unknown was freezing alright, but it was serene, quiet, gentle. Cyrus thought being reincarnated into a fish wouldn't be half bad. When he came up for air, he saw TJ's hair hanging in his eyes. He was laughing his warm laugh that Cyrus missed so much.

"That was exhilarating!" Cyrus said shaking his own hair out of his eyes. The crowd had gathered on the dock and was whooping and hollering. He saw a couple of them take off their camp T-shirts and jump in with them. Cyrus laughed and smiled as everyone jumped in one by one. His friends splashed and swam and laughed together in the water. For the first time in a long time, Cyrus loved Camp Lowland.

Cyrus could only hope to keep his head afloat but it was impossible to float without bumping into anyone. He didn't know how TJ was able to avoid campers as he calmly floated on his back, Cyrus thought that either he was avoiding people or people maneuvered themselves around him. He was absolutely serene, at one with the surrounding water. He looked like he was sleeping. Cyrus had nearly forgotten about their past, or how he was bruised because of the fall not too long ago. He knew it wasn't his fault, that he slipped and Cyrus just happened to fall. But even after that, they were back to their weird tension-filled longing glances and lingering looks.  He suddenly felt angry at TJ for floating so calmly, how could he just ignore everything? Cyrus splashed water on his face in revenge.

"HEY!" Tj sprang into the water and looked around, "Did you do that?" he said with a laugh and a smile.

Cyrus said, "Who me?" Which landed him getting him splashed in return. Soon it turned into and all around splashing war between TJ, Cyrus, and the other campers.

As the sun started setting, more and more campers crawled onto the beach and close to the fires to warm up. By then, Cyrus started feeling like he was dying. Yes, dying. His arms weren't working how he wanted them to, time had slowed down dramatically, and he felt like making a marshmallow waffle with chocolate syrup and tons of whipped cream. He let himself be led back to the beach by TJ who seemed to be dancing to music he couldn't hear. Tj plopped onto the ground and patted the space next to him. Cyrus thought that was the best idea ever and giggled, actually giggled, which led them both into a laughing fit. Now that he thought about it, Cyrus noticed that a lot of the campers were dancing and laughing more than usual.

Tj laid on his back while Cyrus laid on his stomach closely inspecting a rock in his hands. That rock was very very interesting to Cyrus, it felt like it was giving him superpowers.

"Mcjagger," Cyrus said to TJ as he put the rock in his hand, "this rock-" Cyrus was cut off by his own incessant laughter. He hadn't called TJ Mcjagger for years. Since Tj didn't want him calling him Thelonious Jagger, Cyrus decided that Mcjagger was close enough to lovingly annoy him. He had no idea what was happening to him, "Oh god I-," more laughter this time from TJ, "I'm dyingggg."

"NO Cyrus," TJ said seriously and took his face into his hands, "You're high." They thought it was the funniest thing in the world. But it was suddenly important that Cyrus laid his head on Tjs chest. "What? OMG Cyrus are you okay?" Tj said omg how you spell omg or lol.

"Tj I'm dying," Cyrus said again.

"No no well yeah we're all dying, but you called me Mcjagger, you haven't called me that in a million trillion billion trillion years," Tj lifted his arms to elaborate on how long it had been.

"Whatever whatever," Cyrus didn't want to talk but he also wanted to talk to TJ for the rest of his life. TJ then started singing Whenever Wherever by Shakira to a giggling Cyrus. He joined his horrible rendition.

"Why am I high?" Cyrus asked.

"Because of the bears, the bears, they ruin everything we should rename them jaggers," Tj said to no one in particular.

"The bears?? Oh, shit the bears." Cyrus frowned. He didn't remember smoking the bears, but then he remembered, "T! The gummy bears? You tried to kill me with your own two hands!"

"The gummy bears," Tj repeated.

"I'm dying and you're talking about gummy bears," Cyrus mumbled and sat up, "there's something on your shoulder." A tiny green gecko had crawled onto Tj's shoulder. When Tj saw it he screamed at the top of his lungs, stood up quickly, and ran around in circles to try to get it off.

"AHHHHHHH!!! CYRUS!! A DINOSAUR IS ON MEEEEE!" TJ yelled.

Cyrus knew he was the only one to take care of the job. He stopped Tj and cupped the tiny creature in his hands and left it on a nearby tree. Tj hugged him, "You saved my fucking life," he said as he cupped his face in his hands and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

Cyrus was suddenly grounded, the last couple of weeks of complicated feelings melted away. He let himself be held by Tj for a long time by the lake's shore.

Later, they sat in the shade of the forest. They were both still stoned, but the sunset was nice, it stretched out orange and pink and the clouds reflected the light show.  Cyrus cried. It was so beautiful he couldn't handle it.

"I'm so happy I could die," Tj turned and said to him. Cyrus blinked. The light made Tj look angelic, Cyrus was sure he was sent to make him lose all of his senses. Cyrus kissed him.

It was short, but it got the point across.

"Cyrus," Tj said.

"No, don't say anything. Let me have this moment," he replied as he took Tj's hand. Cyrus didn't know what he was doing. Everything was so weird, nothing made sense, his actions were sporadic and his blood was made of lead. But it didn't matter, he was there sitting with TJ in the middle of the fucking woods. Nothing was real, nothing here could hurt him. If he had his heart broken again, he would just be able to throw it into lake Redwood and go back home.

They laid down in the soft pebbles until the moon was high in the sky. Tj rubbed circles into Cyrus' hands.

Cyrus pointed out the stars for Tj, "That's Capricorn see?" he pointed to stars that almost looked like an arrowhead.

"Yeah I see it," Tj grinned.

"And Ursa major," Cyrus continued, "Corvus, Andromeda," Cyrus listed all the constellations he knew, they weren't many but they still made Tj smile. He didn't even know if he was pointing the right way, the gummies had made him lazy. "And there's Ursa minor, and Orion obviously and why did you ignore me?"

Tj didn't expect the question, he was trying to follow along with Cyrus' astronomy lesson. "I-," he stammered, "I don't know, I thought you didn't want to be around me." Tj was quiet now.

"Who said that?" Cyrus turned onto his side and stared at him.

"No one I just, I don't know. Things have been weird. You act like nothing happened," Tj said to the starry night sky. "I just followed your lead you know. I gave you space. I didn't know what I did. You just said you weren't ready and needed more time. If it felt like it was weird then I just...I don't know, sulked I guess. And I gave you space, like how you wanted." Tj closed his eyes as he said this, "But I never gave up the hope that you'd come back. I never even looked at anyone else, you were the only one."

Cyrus thought about this and felt guilty. That day two years ago, after they had dated for only two months, Cyrus had told Tj that he wasn't ready for a boyfriend. He told him that one day he would, but not now not when school was so hard, his friends were so distant, and he was having panic attacks almost every day. He could only handle so much pressure, he didn't want to risk hurting TJ in the process.

"I'm sorry," Cyrus said quietly.

"I'm serious Cyrus, I waited for you and I'm still waiting for you," Tj said as he looked up.

Cyrus blinked back tears and propped himself up on an elbow, "Fuck you TJ." Tj looked over at Cyrus and frowned. Cyrus felt two years of stress crawl up his throat, "Yeah, that's what I said. Fuck you for being so ughh" Cyrus groaned and sat up all the way, Tj followed. "You're just so unpredictable I hate you."

"You hate me? You literally just kissed me Cy," Tj gave a small smile and raised his eyebrow.

He was right of course, his actions hadn't made any sense, he was going in circles, "I hate that you know me," Cyrus said as he grabbed at bunches of grass, "And it's not the weed okay, fuck. I just! It's everything okay! We break up and I tell you to move on and you don't, you ignore my request and then tell me you'll always be waiting for me? You're just so nice it hurts okay. And! Costume day with Kira, of all people!"

"Cyrus," Tj said concerned as he gently patted his back, "How long has that been brewing?"

"Did you expect me to just brush everything off? Ignore my feelings? I can't fix everyone TJ. I have feelings too," Cyrus ripped up grass and weeds furious at himself for nothing and everything. Not knowing what the hell was wrong with him and not wanting to hurt TJ forced Cyrus to hurt himself instead. He wanted to scream in TJ's face and kick down doors and he didn't know why. He had never felt like that before, and it wasn't the weed's fault. He closed himself off after the breakup and never opened back up, now he was spilling all over the place and he hated it.

"It's not fair," Cyrus continued, "It's not fair, it's not fair." Cyrus sobbed. TJ held him until he stopped.

"Why didn't you tell me all this Cy," Tj said softly.

"I don't know, I didn't know how to fix it so I left it broken," Cyrus said.

"That's okay, not everything needs fixing. Things are allowed to be messy Cy," Tj said kindly. Cyrus shook his head. He had never thought about it like that, he was so focused on having the perfect relationship, that he didn't realize how imperfect relationships actually are. They're messy and erratic and all over the place but that's the fun of it. Loving someone enough to overcome all the insecurities and troubles, TJ knew this. Cyrus looked into his eyes.

"You're right," Cyrus whispered.

"Do you think we could try again?" Tj said as he gently picked the broken grass off of Cyrus' hands.

Try again. Try again? Try what again? Loving Tj? That had never changed. He had never stopped loving him. Everything about Tj was just so perfect for Cyrus that he couldn't handle it. From the perfect hair that always seemed to have one strand hanging in his eyes, how he always defended him, how he'd protect him, how he had the entire school in his palm, Cyrus couldn't even list all the things he loved about TJ. He'd have to talk until the end of time. He decided to open up.

"Yes," Cyrus finally said.

TJ's eyes glittered as he laced their fingers together, "Can I kiss you? Will you let me have this moment?" Cyrus gave an airy laugh in response.

"Yes," Cyrus said.

This kiss was different than the one Cyrus had hastily given him today. This kiss reminded him of how much TJ loved him, Cyrus then knew that his heart had always been with Tj. Tj pulled away far too early for Cyrus' taste.

TJ and Cyrus had been so entranced by one another that they hadn't noticed that the at first sprinkle of rain turned into a downpour. By the time they noticed, the rain had flattened the top of TJ's hair.

"Oh seriously?" Tj said squinting up, "that is so cliche."

Cyrus stood up and dragged TJ up with him as they laughed, "My rom-com dreams are coming true!" Cyrus said. He stood up on his tiptoes and gave Tj another kiss, "But I really don't want to get a cold." The ran was coming down now, fast and cold. Cyrus was shivering.

"Yeah, me neither," Tj said and looked towards the nearby Redwood cabin as other campers raced past them to get out of the rain. "Come on," Tj said and held his hand as they ran towards the cabin.

Cyrus sat on the extra bed in Tj, Marty's and Jonah's room. Tj had given him a hoodie to sleep him. It was about a million sizes too big, but it made Cyrus' heart flutter. It was his Bash Mitzvah hoodie, Cyrus couldn't believe he kept it.

"Where's Marty?" Cyrus whispered to Tj when he came back from doing rounds to make sure no one was lost or killed by a forest creature.

"He's with Buffy, I called on the landline to tell her you were here," Tj laid down on his bed on the bottom bunk. Jonah was snoring on the top bunk, Cyrus had a feeling he'd been asleep for a long time.

"Oh thank you," Cyrus said. The extra mattress didn't have any covers since no one had claimed it.

"Hey, I have something for you," Tj suddenly stood up and rummaged in his bags. He sat back on his bed and opened his palm. It was an intricate green and yellow bracelet. Cyrus came and sat next to him.

"For me?" Cyrus said. Cyrus couldn't remember the last time someone had given him a gift that wasn't on his birthday.

"Yeah," TJ said and placed it in Cyrus' hands. "I made it like three years ago and never gave it to you." Upon further inspection, he saw that read TJK+CG. Cyrus let out a breath and looked over at TJ who was blushing.

"TJ this is so sweet I love it," Cyrus said right away.

"Really?" TJ looked relieved.

"Yes, now help me put it on," Cyrus said.

TJ and Cyrus squeezed into TJ's twin bed for the rest of the night, Cyrus lightly running his fingers through Tj's hair and smiling like a kid in a candy store. He had forgotten how nice it was to have someone who knew you inside and out. He felt like he didn't have to hide around him.

"Right, but we'll live in Malibu obviously," Tj continued. They were now discussing their future together.

"Well yeah duh, I'll have at least five Oscars by the time I'm 40 and you'll be a celebrity physical therapist-"

"And we'll have a dog named Whiskers," Tj added.

"Whiskers? Now that's cliche Tj," Cyrus scoffed.

"Well considering we'll have at least three dogs, I think the odds are pretty high that at least one will be Whiskers," Tj smiled. They were on their sides facing each other with their legs interlaced in the small space, the moonlight dripping over the room and coating them both in a soft glow.

"Fine, but the other two will be named by me," Cyrus said. They were both whispering, it must have been at least midnight and the other campers were asleep.

"Whatever you want," TJ said sweetly, "I'll give you anything you want."

Cyrus' eyes fluttered, "I love you," he said as he traced along TJ's cheekbone.

"You already told me that," Tj laughed a bit.

"When?" Cyrus said, confused.

"When you were on pain meds," Tj laughed a bit.

"Whe-, The pain meds that you caused me to be on?" Cyrus joked and lovingly shoved TJ.

"Look I'm really really sorry you have no idea how sorry I am," Tj said.

Cyrus kissed him to shut him up, "TJ, it's no big deal, you just traumatized me and now I can never go around another river." TJ rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Well, I love you too," TJ said as he looked into Cyrus' eyes, "And I have for a long time."

The next few weeks went by too quickly. Cyrus' new routine now involved following around TJ and cheering him on as he played sports Cyrus didn't know the name of. They spent most of the day whispering to each other and holding hands. TJ was fond of the wildflowers around the willow tree and would bring Cyrus a bunch every morning before breakfast. Cyrus would proudly wear a couple behind his ears as they held hands and went to different camp activities.

None of their friends were surprised when they got back together, not even Jonah who apparently didn't know they had broken up.

Finally, it was time for the last CC, the obstacle course. For some ungodly reason, Buffy had placed Cyrus in the game. There were six stations at the obstacle course; a balance beam, a bean bag toss, a tunnel of some sort, a jump rope, a climbing thing Cyrus didn't know the name of, and a single Rubik's cube on a table. The rules were simple, explained Counselour Moose, whoever finished first won.

"Buffy, I can't do it. I'm not good with pressure involving athletism," He had told Buffy, his cabin leader.

"Yes you can Cyrus, now go," she placed him by the table with the Rubik's cube. Cyrus looked around the field. The four other teams were assembled. TJ gave him a wave from his obstacle course, Cyrus smiled and gave a wave back. Cyrus was bouncing his leg as soon as Counselour Moose blew the whistle. From down the line, Cyrus saw his team members finish their part of the game and tag the person in front of them. He didn't dare look over at the other teams, he had a  feeling that if he did he would surely feel 100% more nervous. Why did Buffy give him the last part of the course? Why did she hate him so?

And then, to Cyrus' horror, Natalie climbed over the climbing thing and tagged him on the shoulder, "Go Cyrus!" she said to a motionless Cyrus. He then clambered to the table and picked up the rube. Suddenly, he forgot what colors go with which.

"What does blue look like?" Cyrus murmured to himself as he moved the little cubes around and around. The crowd was now screaming white noise, he forced himself to take a deep breath. After what seemed like forever, Cyrus finally figured out the cube and ran to ring the bell.

"Done!" Cyrus yelled out, just as TJ said: "Finished!" Cyrus looked around confused as the crowd mobbed them. Oak and Aspen were still trying to figure out the cube, but TJ and Cyrus had tied. Tied. That never happens.

Buffy lifted him as she and the others surrounded him and congratulated him. Cyrus was giddy, he had never won anything sports-related in his entire life. The feeling was new and exciting. He hadn't lost!

"Tied!" Buffy and Andi told him! "You did so good Cy!" Buffy praised.

"Do you know what that means?" Andi said.

"That I didn't lose?" Cyrus asked.

"Yes!" Andi and Buffy both hugged him. Cyrus looked over at TJ who also had a smile on his face and was being greeted by his cabin members.

Later, during the End of Camp Ceremony, Tj and Cyrus sat shoulder to shoulder holding hands as Counselour Moose tallied off the points. Iris' cabin had won over Amber's by 300 points. But it turned out that the tie meant Redwood and Willow tied exactly. They both had won. There would be three trees planted in their honor named Iris, Buffy, and TJ.

"Cyrus! D'you hear that?! We both won!" Tj shook with joy as he took Cyrus' face in his hands and kissed him in front of everyone. Cyrus instantly loved camp.

As soon as camp began, it ended. Cyrus had to say goodbye to his plain roommates, the forest with its freaky animals, the cool waters, even the cat he called Sigmund. For the first time ever, Cyrus felt like he would miss Camp Lowland. Maybe he'd miss it because TJ would miss it. He didn't know, but it didn't matter.

He'd have to go back to Shadyside, with its deadlines and stress, but at least he wouldn't be so alone this time.

"You ready?" TJ said as he took Cyrus' bag for him and held out his hand. Cyrus gave a soft nod and met TJ's hand with his. Cyrus had a yellow flower behind his ear as they walked away from Camp Lowland.

November Forecast for Capricorn

Let it go, let it flow! A major 12-year chapter of your life is coming to an end, Capricorn, and you’ll have the next 13 months to navigate the transition. On November 8, Jupiter, the planet of growth, luck and expansion, will shift into Sagittarius and your twelfth house of closure until December 2, 2019. This is a year to “sort the crops,” evaluating everything you’ve created since 2007 and looking at where you want (or need) to correct course.

It sounds serious, and well, this IS a pretty big deal. You’re preparing to start a whole new 12-year cycle in December 2019, when auspicious Jupiter will shift into Capricorn and put your personal goals on the fast track. Until then, you may feel a bit tired or low-key since the twelfth house rules the subconscious, and your “inner world” will be the most active realm of your life. Vivid dreams, serendipitous moments and a slower pace will become the new normal.

In other words, Capricorn, prepare to exit your comfort zone! Well, maybe not entirely because you’ll still have structured Saturn marching through your sign until 2020, making sure you stay on top of your most important goals. At least you’ll still have a tether to the material world. But don’t expect to be too anchored there! With Jupiter in your imaginative and spiritual twelfth house, the next 13 months could awaken your artistic side or help you tap into healing and esoteric abilities. The key word for the twelfth house is “surrender”—and, well, that’s not easy for any mortal to pull off (least of all a take-charge Capricorn!). But you’ll grow so much in the coming months when you stop forcing agendas and swimming upstream and allow the universe to step in to offer a little divine guidance.

The twelfth house rules all things hidden, and that includes agendas. You may find out exactly who is—and isn’t—on Team Capricorn since people’s true colors are clearly revealed by truth-teller Jupiter. With the Sun in Scorpio and your eleventh house of group activity until November 22 (and an eye-opening Scorpio new moon on November 7), you could start shifting some of your alliances this month.

Some of the people you distance yourself from may even share your DNA. You’ll find out starting November 6, when radical changemaker Uranus takes a final four-month lap through Aries and your fourth house of home and family. From March 2011 to May 2018, the side-spinning planet shook up this foundational part of your chart, which may have brought a move, a pregnancy or shifting dynamics with relatives (especially your mother or close female kin). If you’re the type of Capricorn who carries the weight of the world on your shoulders, authentic Uranus helped you “get real” and start liberating yourself from those codependent ties.

Now you have one last round of this before Uranus makes a permanent exit from Aries on March 6, 2019, not to return again in this lifetime. Translation? Your holiday guest list might be a little thinner, but the people on it will actually be enjoyable company. Or if you do a big family gathering, you’ll make sure to keep impenetrable boundaries with the button pushers and avoid the polarizing political conversations. On November 16, there’s a retrograde “changing of the guard” as love planet Venus ends a six-week backspin and communicator Mercury STARTS a three-week reversal. Venus has been retrograde since October 5, backing through Libra and your career zone for the past two weeks. If you’ve been at odds with colleagues or feeling out of sorts about work, that’s why. The tenth house also rules fathers and men, so this Venus cycle may have stirred up discord with an important guy in your life.

Any lingering resentments will need to be addressed as Mercury turns retrograde from November 16 to December 6, spending the bulk of its backspin in Sagittarius and your twelfth house of closure and forgiveness. Prepare those olive branches! When the Sun joins Jupiter and Mercury in Sagittarius on November 22, you’ll have a full month to work through any of these issues—and to catch up on serious rest before Capricorn season begins on December 21. Until then, take it easy because you’ll probably feel a bit foggy and emotional, and you need to be gentle with yourself.

You’ll have moment of clarity on November 23, when the year’s only Gemini full moon beams into your orderly and analytical sixth house. Your intuition that’s been running in the background will suddenly connect the dots. If you’ve been weighing a decision, today you could finally make it. The sixth house also rules health and fitness, and this one lunation falls oh-so inconveniently on Thanksgiving weekend in the U.S. But hey, there’s no rule that you have to slip into a post-turkey tryptophan food coma; or if you did that already, don’t beat yourself up—just move on. Today’s moonbeams could inspire a switch to more mindful eating and regular exercise over the holidays. Everything in moderation!

There’s plenty to enjoy about the holidays besides the food, anyway—like the company of great friends. And your social life will be on a definite upswing starting November 24, when hazy Neptune ends a five-month retrograde through Pisces and your third house of communication and community. If you’ve felt a little adrift from your most compassionate crew since June 18 or just haven’t had the time or motivation to catch up, Neptune’s direct turn will help you connect. Make space for meaningful moments over the holiday season.

One of the month’s most heart-opening days arrives on November 26, when the Sun and Jupiter make their annual meetup, this year in Sagittarius and your healing twelfth house. This could be a huge day for epiphanies, from emotional breakthroughs to a major reconciliation (forgiveness is powerful!) to finally letting yourself process a situation that caused heartbreak or grief. While that doesn’t exactly sound like FUN, it’s vital that we let blocked feelings get unstuck, especially because they can lead to stress and even disease if left unattended for too long. The week’s one Opportunity Period happens between 00:09 UT - 20:22 UT on Thursday, September 3. “Excellent time for play or work, and especially good for artistic endeavors, which can be a little of both.”

The day of the Full Moon (Wednesday the 2nd for most of you) promises an utter whirlwind of activity. Mercury, finishing up its annual trip through Virgo, makes a slew of aspects, finishing off with a trine to Saturn early Thursday. The Virgo Sun is also very active. All of them mature after the moment of the Full Moon, so expect it to be (1) intense and (2) fast-moving with many “parts.”

Friday is almost like “let’s be mean to Mars Day” - a square from Venus/Cancer, followed closely by an inconjunct from Mercury/Virgo, followed by a sesquare (135 degree aspect) from the Sun/Virgo, followed by a conjunction from the Aries Moon. Bear in mind that Mars will station retrograde next week, on September 9/10 - these are the very last non-major aspects Mars will get, before his station. Eeek. I’m in hopes that by Thursday afternoon, when I write up the Friday forecast, I’ll be a little more coherent about it (if not perfectly fluent).

July Forecast for Aquarius

Surrender to change, Aquarius—it’s coming whether you like it or not. July is a month of many expressions from above, including two alchemical eclipses, a rare double-header of new moons bookending the month and (eek!) communication planet Mercury spinning retrograde from July 7 to 31. There won’t be a dull moment on deck, Aquarius—so brace yourself for an active month that could transform you in crucial ways.

Against the backdrop of the Sun in Cancer and your sixth house of health, fitness and organization (until July 22), a July 2 total solar (new moon) eclipse lands in Cancer, jolting you into action. Is it time to go full KonMari on your clutter? Or maybe change your habits around eating and exercise? You may get doctor’s orders to do so, or the urge might come from a desire to reconnect to your body. The way you’ve structured your life could have pieces falling through the cracks, and this cosmic event is your unsubtle prompt to shift your systems, stat! At the July 2 Cancer solar eclipse, a powerful new six-month cycle of vitality opens up.

This is the midway point in a series of eclipses falling on the Cancer/Capricorn axis between July 2018 and July 2020, activating your analytical sixth house (ruled by Cancer) and your twelfth house of spirituality and release (ruled by Capricorn). For the past year, you’ve been transforming the balance between mind and spirit, control and surrender. There have been moments that awakened you to a need to be more alert and attentive or to more deeply connect to the earth. On July 16, a Capricorn lunar (full moon) eclipse will land in your twelfth house of closure, healing and transitions. If you haven’t dealt with grief or mourned a loss, this could be one of those long-awaited “ugly cry” days that helps you heal. With alchemical Pluto riding close to this full moon, the intensity is multiplied.

This eclipse might also bring a spiritual awakening, a soulmate encounter or a moment of profound epiphanies. You may see someone’s true colors—and the palette could be shocking. This eclipse may expose a secret or bring hidden information to light. Look back to January 6, 2019, when a corresponding Capricorn solar eclipse set events into motion. Since astrology is cyclical, endings clear the way for beginnings. Trust that if you have to release anything, it’s for the highest good—even if whatever’s “next” doesn’t immediately show up. In fact, breathing through the unknown instead of anxiously trying to micromanage events will be your biggest—and most rewarding—spiritual challenge.

In between, there could be a couple moments that starkly expose the “control freak” that we all have within us. Control is an outcropping of fear, after all. And you’ll get a front-row seat to some of your own untended anxieties when the Cancer Sun forms its annual oppositions to Saturn (July 9) and Pluto (July 14) in Capricorn and your illusion-fueled twelfth house.

Your mission: To uncover where more boundaries are needed in your life. Have you fallen into a role of codependent enabling and sacrifice? As the Sun opposes boundary-hound Saturn and power-player Pluto, you may need to cut some of those cords in no uncertain terms. Or, if you’ve put up TOO many barriers, you’ll see where to let go and open yourself up to receiving support. Adding to the fun, Mercury will be retrograde from July 7 to 31. It will split its time between Leo and your partnership zone (until July 19) and Cancer, ruler of your health and organization zone, from July 19 to 31. Shore up your defenses around travel, technology and communication, all areas that can be affected by chaos when Mercury goes rogue. Triple-check reservations, back up data and practice extreme patience!

During the Leo leg, take extra precautions in your closest relationships. Explain yourself with explicit clarity and check to make sure the other person REALLY heard you. Try the mirroring technique, silly as it may feel, where one person says something and the other answers to the tune of, “What I hear you saying is…” then adjust as needed. Contracts fall under the seventh house AND Mercury’s domain, so tread lightly (if at all) around signing any paperwork. If people seem to misunderstand you at every turn, take a deep breath and try again! Be sure to extend the same courtesy to others as well.

With argumentative Mars in Leo and your partnership house all month, it will be extra challenging to get on the same page. And when Mars plows into a fiery square to your co-ruler, volatile Uranus, on July 11, you could reach a breaking point. A family member or living-situation stress might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back if you’re not careful.

Really watch those stress levels when Mercury backs into Cancer and your wellness zone from July 19 to 31. Avoid multitasking or taking on too much, especially since you’ll be susceptible to a late-summer cold or flu. Wash your hands regularly and avoid anyone who’s sniffling or hacking!

Camaraderie could light the way starting July 22, when the Sun swings into Leo and your partnership zone for a month. While you may feel a bit low-power now, you’ll have people to lean on coming through. Cut back on all the extraneous social engagements and focus on the folks who truly have your back. One of them could rise up as an incredible friend and champion on July 25, when Mars in Leo forms a flowing trine to effusive Jupiter in your camaraderie zone. And who knows…maybe there’s something beyond just friendship in the cards for you, whether that’s a romantic relationship or a business alliance. With these two excitable planets aligning, it’s a perfect day to explore possibilities! You don’t have to commit to anything…just enjoy that blue-sky dreaming.

With impassioned Mars roaring through Leo and your dynamic-duos zone from July 1 to August 18, all kinds of partnerships heat up, from romantic to professional to creative. Couples might find themselves arguing a lot—perhaps over the pettiest of problems—yet at the same time feel ever more attracted to each other. Lusty Mars can crank up the sexual chemistry AND the combativeness, so be prepared for both.

One thing to stay aware of: Expressive Mercury is going retrograde this month, and from July 7 to 19 the reversal happens in Leo. Thanks to Pluto’s 16-year journey through Capricorn (2008-2024) and Saturn’s 2+ year journey through Capricorn (2018-2020) and the North Nodes 18-month journey through Cancer (Nov 2018-May 2020) and Chiron’s 9-year journey through Aries (2018-2027) and most recently, Jupiter’s 1-year journey through Libra (2016-2017) and Uranus’ 7-year trip through Aries (2011-2018) … thanks to all that big energy, our little annual cycle of Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall is constantly a time of intense evolution for one and all. No one is exempt. Everyone has the Cardinal Signs somewhere, ruling some Area of Life (House) even if you do not have any planets animating those energies. It’s good to know your own natural, seasonal rhythm and now that is more important than ever. I look at it like: when you commit and take one step (in the direction of your goal) then the Universe carries you three more steps. If you can co-create with the energies available that are shifting your personal, individual fundamentals, then you are ahead of the game! You are choosing your destiny and you are also making greater strides, in a shorter period of time because this is accelerated growth that the big-boys always generate.

So with all that in mind, I just want to remind you that Libra time is also the one-of-two times per year that we have access to actual, literal balance. So no matter what extremes you’ve been dealing with, and whether you are in the Southern Hemisphere moving into the Light or here, as we move into the Dark time of year, you can call in balance at this time, you can restore your equilibrium, you can experience harmony even while the worldly chaos continues to swirl. The “theme” here (if there is one) is balance and compromise (Libra) … on the heels of sacrifice & purification (Virgo). We have also re-defined “sacrifice” as *Gift or Offering*. In every instance you feel that the Universe is asking you to “sacrifice” something for your own greater good, you could say out loud: “It would be my pleasure to offer this GIFT! I am delighted to give in this way, knowing I am clearing a space for You, Great Spirit, to fill me and my life with that will serve my Highest good, now and always.” What did you have to give up in the last month? Last 6mo? Last year? Whether you think you did or you didn’t, rest assured that the sorting and sifting got done and there are parts of you that have permanently shifted or been born completely anew. Also heads-UP! Mercury entered Scorpio Oct 3rd and will be there until Dec 9th (Retro: 10/31 and Dir: 11/20) so that is actually going to help us with our integration process. We will be processing everything that’s come up in the last 1-5 years – on a soul level. We will dare to dig a little deeper into our conscious & subconscious terrain to see what is serving or undermining true evolution. I did talk about it in last week’s follow up ~ Video HERE(49-min).

Mars also entered Libra on Oct 3rd and will be there until Nov 19th and it hasn’t been there since Oct-Dec 2017. It retrograded in Libra in 2014(Dec 2013-July 2014). Mars rules our desire nature, our energy & fuel – and how we direct it – our passions and the Sacred Masculine, which is the part of you who can negotiate on your own behalf, get your ideas in the world and keep good, healthy, effective boundaries. I always suggest that we can co-create with Mars when we check in with our true Natures, every 2-years. In my experience, Mars’ Retrograde has Mars lingering in a Sign/House for 8-months – so I say: we invest 8-months of conscious self-work for a 16-month return. We get a chance to renew our passions & desires – as well as how we go about achieving them – every 2-years, which is how long it takes for Mars to move through all 12-signs.

Anytime Mars is in Libra, we get an opportunity to tune into what we deeply desire in relationships of all kinds. Fairness, balance, justice & equality are all something Mars is willing to fight for when in Libra – and awaken within the rest of us. It is time to access your inner balance where you have integrity and graciousness, as well as fierceness to stand up for what you believe in. Here’s a snapshot from my Your Soul’s Path Series, where I created a workbook for every planetary cycle. The Mars in Libra one says: This is a time when you have extremely high ideals; you’re shooting for the BIG dream! Not easily dissuaded, as you weigh all aspects of each circumstance as it presents itself. Avoid indecision and step confidently in the direction of your goal. Don’t focus too much on how others are directing their energy as much as how you are directing yours. Teach, guide & lead by example, that’s going to be the most powerful and effective use of your energy. Refined strength, rather than brute strength is necessary at this time to accomplish the current goals.

I just feel like we got to reset something during its retro through Libra in 2014, which evolved by Oct-Dec 2017 (in a way we should be able to track a common or continual thread) and now we are getting an opportunity to do some incredible work this go-round. And the reason I feel like the “relationship work” is really up and good to dive into whole-heartedly, is because next year, Mars is going to retrograde in Aries, the sign it rules, and here is when you will get a chance to invest 8-months in YOU – who you are, what you truly want and what your purpose & passion really is and it will really help if you’ve worked out some of this ahead of time. 10/7 ~ Mercury (thoughts) ~oppose~ Uranus (radical shift):

This energy tends to make your mind work in over-drive. Not that you think too much, but rather you may tend to think, speak and process information faster than usual. However, when you are moving that fast, sometimes you can overlook something vital. The negative expression of this energy tends to make you feel scattered and disorganized, but the positive side of it is making those brilliant connections that are normally just out of reach. Your perception and intuition are picking up so much in such a short period of time that you will want to review the details later to ensure that you didn’t overlook something crucial to your development. You may be impatient with same-old/same-old routines or responses but check in with your body to make sure it is not just your monkey mind playing tricks on you. It is a good time to breathe and be flexible because if you are impatient with this energy, you are more likely to make mistakes. Anytime Uranus is involved, radical shifts and ah-ha moments are totally possible on an internal level, however, on an external level you may tend to blurt things our without proper forethought. Be sure to engage your Heart and some kind of filter, especially when communicating with others this week.

10/7 ~ Sun (essential Self) ~square~ Saturn (responsibility):

With this energy, it is best to understand that you will have two distinct pulls within – obligation to others versus responsibility to Self. It’s not nearly as bad as it feels, however, it does bring up something we all work really hard to balance to some degree or another – SELF & OTHERS. How much do you owe your Self and how much are you obligated to others? Balance and reciprocity come to mind as guides. One of the challenges of this influence is making negative assumptions that there is no support for you when in truth, you haven’t asked for any and *help must be invited*. Saturn brings up our relationship to Time, and some people may feel restricted, as if life/other/outer is all too demanding and there’s never any time just for the individual. This activation is a push to grow. It’s time to hold your own structure in some way and reclaim your Inner Authority (also Saturn’s domain) to direct your own life. Others may find their lives falling apart because they have avoided responsibility for so long and now there’s no more “wiggle room”. Rather than have a meltdown, take a nap and resolve to wake up with a plan, a strategy for taking the next step, even if that means simply asking for help or guidance from someone older and wiser. It’s time to deepen your dedication and commit to your Self in a whole new way. Recognize any current limitations and work with the resources at hand for now. The Sun usually illuminates the core essential nature or the Self, so see where you may be stuck and need to break out of a rut of some sort and trust that taking charge and making a decision and choosing a direction is *inviting help* from the Universe to support your new direction.

10/12 ~ Venus (values) ~oppose~ Uranus (freedom):

Any time Uranus is involved, it becomes the “wild card” and hard to predict how things will unfold, but right now there is a push-pull between your apparent values and your unique individual self. Venus also represents relationships, so you may begin an unusual relationship or you may have something unusual happen in an established relationship. It is not necessarily a “good/bad” thing, as much as an unpredictable shift or sudden awareness, which requires some compromise & integration. This energy works beautifully if your personal Truth and values are in alignment. It will be very disruptive if they are not. Be open and flexible, while looking for the win/win situation for all involved.
