PointWillsonPointLightHouse2 by Mike Grauer Jr Via Flickr: A light house located at Fort Worden State Park near Port Townsend. Unlike most of the light houses in the Puget Sound area this one is strangely never been open to the public. As I can see, it could stand some restoration work. Like a new roof thanks to all the seagull crap. Who knows what the inside of the buildings look like.

Pegion Gang - I used to dislike pegions. I used to think they were just dirty common birds. But, as I spent more time with them here in Chicago, I grew to love them. I watched how many different colors and patterns they have. I almost compared them to the people I see on the streets. They all are individual, yet, they have a common goal. Survive.

December 31st 2020, 수성동계곡, Seoul, South Korea. 한 해 마지막 날 밤에, 좋아하는 길을 혼자 걷곤 한다. 추위를 너무 많이 타는데 하필 올해 들어 최저 기온을 경신하던 날. 그래도 왠지 나만의 그 의식을 치러야만, 기묘하게 불행했고 기묘하게 행복했던 한 해를 제대로 떠나보낼 수 있을 것 같았다.  광화문 광장에도, 수성동 계곡에도, 인왕산 둘레길에도 사람 그림자가 드물었다. 무무대에 함께 올랐던, 또한 함께 오르고픈 그리운 사람들을 떠올렸다. 애증 어린 도시 서울의 야경보다 달빛이 더 눈부시던 밤이었다. 자유로이 흐르고 자유로이 만날 날이 다시 오는 새해이기를, 딱 3초 정도 기원했다. 이번엔 음악을 듣지 않은 채 걸었다. 바람, 공기, 달빛이 내는 소리를 느끼고 싶었다.  안녕,이라는 상냥한 말이 참 좋다. 이별과 만남, 끝과 시작 모두 하릴없이 다정하게 만들어버리는, 안녕.  On the last night of a year, I often walk my favorite path alone. But it was the coldest day of this year. Besides, I'm terribly sensitive to cold.. But still, I felt like I had to hold my ritual to say goodbye to the year. It was a year of strange misfortunes and happiness. From beginning to end of the road, there were few people. I remembered the people I missed who were on the observatory with me and climb together later.  The moonlight was more dazzling than the night view of Seoul, my desperate but loving city. I prayed for just three seconds for the New Year, when it flows freely and the day when we meet freely comes again. This time, I walked without listening to music.
