FINALLY I have finally gotten a final push to finish my quint oc headcanons for fire born au.

Note that Joltro is Galvana and Chimnee is Furnoss and that this isn’t really proof read and that this list is from oldest to youngest

Jambae the drummidary(they/them)- Basically a grandparent raising their kid, jambae was a young adult during the cataclysm. They take care of both of the kids making sure they grow up well despite the obvious molds the kids have to grow into due to being a celestial. Supportive and comforting to the children even though they kinda don’t make sense sometimes like how a grandparent will try to do good but looks strange when doing so??? Type of monster who did super stupid stuff that could’ve killed them when they were a teen/young adult but somehow is kicking due to gods luck or something.

Part of their arm is yellow due to the fact they almost got sucked into the prism gate one time on cloud island and almost had it ripped out of them. They talk like how a grandparent will talk about the strangest thing they did as a kid and Chimnee and Joltro sit down and try to piece drummidary lore together.

Therma the Candelavra (she/her)- not as old as Jambae but still very old. She was a child and one of the few quints/prismatics to have gotten into the haven, having gone through the prism gate at a young age by accident and somehow surviving. She’s interested in the stars and talks with the kids about them as the celestials have their stars during their months. She’s shorter than the average Candelavra because after entering the prism gate stunned her growth a little bit so she stands maybe 9-8 inches below the average Candelavra.

The reason she’s so interested in the stars is because Jambae noticed she was one of the few quints who also made it into the haven and tried to comfort her by telling her about the stars and what they represent. Since then her love of stars has grown and she constantly talks about how they work as the kids don’t really have a reference for the outside world.

Hummback the bowhead(she/it)- older sibling to them and helps trying to explain things the duo don’t understand. Usually spends time playing with Joltro and sometimes keeping an eye on both just so they don’t get into trouble. She’d totally give the kids stuff secretly as a little bonus, like if they get their daily duties done she’d give them a small piece of candy.

Horns slightly messed up and smaller than the average Bowhead due to a childhood fight it got into (she won surprisingly). It’s also very confrontational, having been the first of the Quints to talk to Joltro and Chimnee after they exploded out of their statues.

Uli the tuskski(he/they)- tired uncle, tries to be cool but fails miserably (boy failure if you will). Bc they were born in the haven, they long to be in actual snow as they wanted to visit the outside world. Usually gives advice and tries to be a voice of reason but is typically the reason Chimnee and Joltro cause mayhem when alone together.

Common to find them hanging out with Stawkaa as the two were born around the same time and became close friends after Uli helped them move from one plant to another. (May or may not be dating..who knows?)

Stawkaa the gnarls (They/them)- The sarcastic and fun uncle to reflect off of Uli’s tired personality. They’re half made of wax bc as a young monsterling they wound up losing their second half and almost died until Uli found them and stuck them onto a wax rock. They can’t really talk due to the fact that they still don’t have a “second half” and they can only replicate having a ‘mouth’ and the wax isn’t alive like a full tree so they can only move half their body.

They usually teach the kids when the others are out and/or are sick, usually through sign language until they can get an actual tree to latch onto. Sometimes they joke flirt with Uli, kinda pushing Joltro and Chimnees theory that they might be dating as a form to humor them.

Monsweet the mimic - the youngest of the quints and created from the same artificial monsters used to make Chimnee and Joltro, Monsweet is one of the major responsibilities for Joltro and Chimnee have to take care of. Can’t really “sing” in the idea that it’s original and rather mimics the sounds heard around them, whether or not the impressions are good is another thing but mostly is found with one of the quints or Chimnee and Joltro.
