Ok fine, we're going with Kieran lore (Yes I am gonna post ADSOH soon I SWEAR)

I redid his ref bc I felt it would be necessary. I can't help but feel like the original sheet made him look like a Sesame Street character. Come on, I know you were all thinking it. I like the way I styled it better and I feel like it conveys his personality better. Should I post a speedpaint of him sometime? (Well not rlly, it's taken from procreate but you get the picture).

TW for Murder, Emotional Abuse and SH.

Kieran used to live a normal life with his parents, and his older brother, Desmond. Although the boys had a six year age difference, they got along very well. It wasn't uncommon for Kieran to fall asleep on Des, and despite their differences, they'd find ways to have fun. He dealt with bullying, but at least he had a loving family that loved him unconditionally. So what ended this? Well, a robbery that escalated to a murder.

When Kieran was ten and his brother was 16, a disguised monster intended to rob Kieran's family with the intent of murdering everyone in the house, They approached Kieran's room first, and the monster tried to kill him in his sleep. However, he woke Kieran, being a light sleeper, woke up to the monster and screamed in terror, scurrying away from the killer. Luckily his family had woken up quickly, and Des, being the closest to Kieran's room, arrived just as his younger brother was cornered. Emmeline called the police, and Kieran's father ran to Kieran's room. He fought his hardest to keep his brother alive, even though he knew that was it for him. He was shanked to death that night, and so was his father. When the police arrived, both Des and his father were dead and gone.

His mother had always struggled with mental illness, but after the loss of her husband and older son, she was at her lowest point. Instead of being there for Kieran when he needed it most, she would berate him, calling him "her little murderer". He wasn't allowed to cry, because according to his mom, he needed to "take responsibility for killing his brother and father". It only got worse from there, as she would deny him any sort of affection and would sometimes yell at him for no reason. She just wanted to insult him sometimes. She also forbade him from having any friends, and laughed in his face when he was being bullied. Having no support system, he turned to cutting in order to cope with his stress. When his mother yelled at him for being an attention seeker, he began to hide it. He already was addicted.

When midnight struck his 18th birthday, he was thrown out of the house. Luckily he had a small place to live, but he needed to make money for college and stuff. He worked tirelessly, sacrificing his sleep and health for his dreams. At least he's got somewhere now.

In college, he had somewhat of a social life, but he couldn't keep friendships for long. He also had a really rough first year, but the rest was alright when it came to academics. He graduated and started his music career, but was deep in debt. He's getting rather successful, but isn't famous yet. He seems to be on that track, though. For better or worse.

That's all for now! That's the general backstory, and I left out the prism gate stuff bc that's a whole other thing. More detailed lore is coming, but they will be focused on a specific part of his life instead of a general story like the one I wrote here.

And then furnoss (my birth month celestial) came out and I’m so happy he’s so cute I could go on and on.

More Kieran stuff bc yes, he acts like this sometimes.

He's usually very shy and sweet, but when he feels vulnerable, he gets very defensive and angry. He'll raise his arms and start shouting, all while trying to convince everyone he's fine. While he won't physically hurt someone, sometimes he looks like he will. He starts yelling too. Deep down, he fears he'll be hurt more than he already is.
