Argentine women's soccer players released in Brazil after racist incident

A Brazilian judge has released from prison four players from the River Plate women’s soccer team who were arrested for an alleged racial slur during a match

Four players from the River Plate women’s soccer team who were arrested for an alleged racial slur during a match have been released says Sao Paulo state’s prison administration secretariat.

Judge Fernando Oliveira Camargo freed Argentine footballers Candela Díaz, Camila Duarte, Juana Cángaro and Milagros Díaz from prison on Friday on condition they show up in court in Sao Paulo every month until the case is finished.

The names of the four footballers were published in a document outside the Carandiru penitentiary in Sao Paulo as being released late Friday. The Argentine players spent Christmas in jail. Neither their lawyer nor their club revealed on Saturday whether they have returned home.

On Dec. 21, a Brazil Ladies Cup semifinal between River and Brazil ‘s Grêmio was stopped in the first half after Díaz made apparent monkey gestures to a ball boy, which was caught in broadcast footage. A brawl started and Grêmio players walked off in protest.

That said: Absolutely shocking behaviour from an esteemed team rich with history like River Plate in their match against Grêmio

First they show horrific unsportmanlike behaviour to Grêmio after they tied

Then they racially abuse a fucking ballboy. A voluteering, likely underaged Argentinian teenage boy (I think, since the match was in River Plate's stadium?)

Millagros Díaz what a dissapointing display for a captain you behaved yourself to be. That is not at all what a captain should be worried about. You're mad Grêmio tied, good. That's what most good captains are. But to take it out on a teenager? And attack what he looks like? NOT GOOD YOU ABSOLUTE FOOL!

"PRISON GIRLS" es una serie que estoy pensando hacer en forma de cómics, basado en 5 chicas que fueron "encarceladas" en una prisión falsa, liderada por una secta secreta, en donde ellas fueron elegidas para trabajar como sicarias especiales, asesinando a gente aún más criminal que ellas; políticos, famosos, entre otros.

las chicas en cuestión son maitena díaz wang, concepción "conchita", alejandra valles torres, federica videla y jazmín belén "jota" ponce (en orden de izquierda a derecha en la segunda foto).

maitena díaz wang es una chica argentina-tailandesa de 24 años. tiene un carácter dulce y amable, aunque por dentro esconde un lado oscuro y sadístico, resultado de su infancia junto a sus primos maternos. es fan del anime y le gusta la literatura (principalmente, la poesía).

concepción, de apodo "conchita", tiene 27 años, y es una muchacha bastante loca, impredecible y alegre. se ve un poco tonta a primera vista, pero ocasionalmente actúa con inteligencia; solamente tiene flojera de demostrarlo. a veces, se comporta literalmente como un animal, y también se puede comunicar con ellos. es muy amiga de los gatos.

alejandra torres valles es una mujer transgénero de 24 años. no se expresa con facilidad, es muy tímida e introvertida. sufre depresión y suele autolesionarse. le apasiona la música y el arte, razón por la que la molestaban en el colegio (aparte de por dejarse el pelo largo).

federica videla tiene 21 años, es una joven bastante ruda, agria y quisquillosa, pero en el fondo oculta su cobardía y sus miedos. le cuesta hacer amistades debido a que no sabe comunicarse bien. es muy llorona con cualquier cosa que le moleste o emocione. hace ejercicio y juega al fútbol (es hincha de river plate). a causa de las drogas, ella es muy flaca y raramente tiene ataques psic��ticos.

jazmín belén "jota" ponce es una joven demigénero de 26 años. actúa siempre con calma y confianza, y de vez en cuando es vulgar. cansada de ser la niña "perfecta" y "bonita" de su familia, los abandona a los 16 años para unirse a una mafia motoquera. es fan de los videojuegos, mayormente de los de acción. su género de música favorito es nu-metal.

Quirón ganó la Copa de Clubes en la Argentina

Fuente: CADA y FAM Al concluir la Copa Nacional de Clubes del atletismo argentino, este domingo 15 de octubre en el Cenard, Quirón retuvo todos los títulos de conjunto, tanto en damas como en hombres, y en la clasificación general. Iberia, Repsol, ArcelorMittal and Holcim join forces to create decarbonisation technologies

These companies launch All4Zero, an industrial innovation hub to achieve zero emissions before 2050.

Four leading companies from various sectors join forces to create an industrial technological project that aims to achieve zero emissions before 2050. Through decarbonisation and the circular economy, these companies aim to reduce their carbon footprint and use clean energy.[1] Iberia[2], Repsol[3], ArcelorMittal[4] and Holcim[5] presented All4Zero[6] this Wednesday, a hub with which they aim to reduce the amount of polluting gases through the ideas that are born in universities, SME research centres and startups.

In addition to these four companies, companies such as Enagás[7], Navantia[8], Tecnalia[9] and Imdea Energía[10] have also been involved in All4Zero. Since the new project they have confirmed that all companies interested in the project and putting their trust in it, can join.

Josu Jon Imaz, CEO of Repsol, has criticised the fact that the fabric of manufacturing industry is “disdained” in Spain and has asked for more important financial means to develop this type of initiatives. The general director of ArcelorMittal's R&D centres, Nicolás de Abajo, has pointed to artificial intelligence as a “fundamental” instrument to accelerate the decarbonisation process. “The new generation either receives a world in 2050 with less pollution, or they receive something else that looks worse.”

The CEO of Iberia, Fernando Candela, has agreed with the general director of Holcim, Carmen Díaz, to consider the climate emergency as a need to find new partners to get involved in the decarbonisation project.

Repsol has criticised the organisations for being responsible of prohibiting the elimination of certain products because of the pollution they emit and asks that sustainable projects would be financed so that Spain leads the European ranking of industry dedicated to decarbonisation.

“All4Zero represents a very important advance to promote technological solutions that enable us to move towards a sustainable future, creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and SMEs,” said De Abajo.

This non-profit agreement states that each company will puts its facilities at the disposal to carry out the project. Iberia provides facilities located in Madrid; Repsol, innovation centres located in different parts of the peninsula, ArcelorMittal, laboratories located in Asturias[11], and Holcim, locations spread throughout Spain and France.

All4Zero has confirmed that they are working already at attracting other companies to join this project. For their part, they have indicated that in the next year ten pilot plans will be carried out and they will organise innovation conferences and events to present the new progresses.
