I also want to share this little old lady with everyone. Her name is Ophelia, but everyone calls her Opie. Also known as: Ope-on-a-rope, Honey Bunches of Opes, Popels, Ope-a-dope, and probably countless other nicknames that I've forgotten. She's 15 years old and weighs about half a pound soaking wet and is still the size of a kitten. She is the chillest cat in the world, you can hold her any way and she's fine with it. I haven't seen her in over a decade but I got to hold her again today and she is still a sweet old lady.

Help needed:

I don't really know how to write serious posts without feeling like I'm coming off hokey but this is important so I'm just gonna have to deal with that discomfort.

My dad was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive bladder cancer. As of right now we don't have a total quote for his medical treatment, but we've already been struggling to afford the gas to get him to his appointments - let alone that it looks like some of his chemo medications won't be covered by Medicare.

We are hoping to get some help with the costs associated with this diagnosis, so my mom's organized a gofundme. Please help me get some eyes on this, and if you can spare any money I would be eternally grateful.

Also also, I'm worried about one of my friends. The last time I heard from her she caught covid and was hospitalized (she's severly chronically ill) and my last message didn't get through to her which means her phone is either turned off or died. It's been two days. Usually she replies within 10min so this is a very bad sign, I think.

Things just really all have to hit at once huh? Just learned my uncle has cancer that killed both his dad and brother. We now have to wait and see if its contained and can just be removed.
