Afternoon thunderstorms moving to the north of our Darkhad base camp in northern Mongolia, this one was likely severe as it shows several telltale signs of a mature Thunderstorm.

Last week of September!

Our wedding photos came in! I definitely cried the first time looking through them all. Looking at these photos reminds me how lucky I am to be married to such a selfless, loving, and caring man. He is truly the best person I have ever met.

We had a fun camping weekend and got to see the vibrancy of the aspens fall foliage. We camped with our friends Natalie and Danny. Learned that ravioli is actually the best camping food.

We saw the movie “My Old Ass” and of course I cried. It was so well done. I also just love Aubrey plaza. I genuinely thought she was going to be in it more, but she was probably on screen for a total of five minutes. Cue movie night LIIT:

Lastly, we got back from camping and had a reset night. I made French onion short ribs and when that was done we watched an episode of twin peaks. I tapped out halfway through though because I was SO tired. It was a great last week of September. Now onto my favorite!! Spooky season ☺️

Our yearly summer camping trip was a bit rough to start with but ended up being a ton of fun. We went to Kent Falls, got lunch at Kingsley Tavern, checked out some covered bridges and some bakeries, and of course we fished!

I love my summer camping trip with my nephews. I love it so much I’m even posting the awful picture of me with my boys. ❤️

Even though it was a great weekend, I can’t wait to sleep in my own bed tonight! The air mattress for two nights straight was not fun.

So I was testing my new Mont Moondance tent out as I’m taking this to Mongolia and my cat decided she actually likes tents and decided to check it out.
