As cameras becomes more normalized (Sarah Bernhardt encouraging it, grifters on the rise, young artists using it), I wanna express how I will never turn to it because it fundamentally bores me to my core. There is no reason for me to want to use cameras because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by manufacturing companies. I paint not because I want a painting but because I love the process of painting. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.

I’m going to sit in my overly therapised chair here because a point needs to be made.

It doesn’t matter whether charlos did a helmet swap.

Helmet swaps are the most public and visible ways drivers show friendships with other drivers at the end of seasons, but this is one gesture out of many possible ones.

Both Charles and Carlos have repeatedly said they have a great relationship off track snd like spending time together away from races. The lack of one Instagram post of them swapping something as material as two race worn helmets doesn’t mean they hate each other and their friendship wasn’t real.

The hugs were real. Charles flying to maranello in his own time to see Carlos’s last day in a Ferrari was real. Their repeated posts thanking each other and praising each other as teammates was real.

Maybe they did do the helmet exchange and got too emotional to share it. Maybe they didn’t, and what they’ve said and done for each other publicly and privately is enough.

Their friendship isn’t performative. To take this one thing as a benchmark as to whether they love or hate each other would be to ignore four years’ worth of partnership.

had a cystocopy this morning (camera in urethra fucking OUCH) and while im glad i dont have any bladder issues, this whole pissing blood that feels like glass coming out of my hole thing is awful. im trying to avoid a UTI from this procedure because thats a common complication and the reason why I even got it was to figure out if my reoccuring UTIs were actually something else. so the only way to keep my bladder healthy rn is to continously chug water and d mannose to flush shit out. which in turn fucking hurts. and did i mention im pissing blood. OUCCHH. if you're on T please take care of your cooch, eat yogurt/kimchi, take some probiotics, get on estradoil, use lots of lube during sex, and take d mannose.

Men Erain, Evendim - The Lord of the Rings Online

         Men Erain, or "Way of Kings", is found along the south-eastern shores of Lake Evendim, leading into Annúminas. At each side of the worn road lies the tombs of ancient High Kings, and a few other ruined structures. At the mountain a few estates remain, memories of when the Kingdom of Arnor eclipsed, a history hallowed by the Dúnedain.

        For many long years these tombs remained undisturbed, but after the fall of the North-kingdom to the Witch-king of Angmar, tomb-robbers and thieves came into the lands of Evendim. It is unknown if any of the treasures buried with the kings still remain, but the Rangers of the North have long maintained their vigil over the tombs.
