So Azula's voice is definitely like, stuck in my brain. A/N: I finished tuc last episodes and I’m so sad bc my weekly dose of happiness is over:(( anyways I’m falling more and more inlove with So Mun and wrote this

LET'S GET STARTED

So yall met at a food stall and bonded over food

You were a regular at one of the food stalls and really loved by the old lady running the stall

She always gives you samples of new dishes or free food

Even though you would argue with her and try giving her money but she wasn’t having it

ANYWAYS

So Mun had just finished dealing with a level one spirit

Not wanting to disturb the other counters about it as it was just a mere level one spirit and was really easy to deal with

And he decided to stop by the food stalls for a quick snack bc he was feeling hungry

You were at the food stall speaking happily with the old lady

As fate would have it, So Mun found himself at the same stall as you drawn to the mouthwatering aroma of the popular dish the old lady was selling

Your guys eyes met briefly and you two felt an instant connection

As if the universe had conspired to bring yall together

So Mun decided to be the first one to struck up a conversation and asked for your recommendation among the food options

And since you were a regular and you couldn’t pass on the opportunity of speaking to the incredibly handsome man with long luscious curly hair

You decided to share your favorite food/dishes with him

You guys ended up spending the evening chatting and sharing delicious food

And the rest is history

NOW LET'S START WITH YALLS RELATIONSHIP

So Mun’s top priority is your safety

Him being a counter is also the main reason of him being protective

And bc he is just protective over his loved ones

Like he will insist on walking you home no matter what

Picking you up from places

Him always walking on the side of the road

Always holding your hand

He’d always prioritize your safety and well-being

Going above and beyond to keep you out of harm’s way

So Mun wears his heart on his sleeve and is very verbal about his love

Always providing with words of reassurance and love

So Mun did not plan in any way how to tell you about his counter side

He knew he would get a warning from Yung but just couldn’t hold back and continue to lie to you

Like mans loves you too much and cannot physically lie to you too long

So it happened one day

So Mun had just got finished with a particularly hard mission with a level 3 spirit

And something in him just had to see you no matter what

Despite the other counters asking him where he is going

Or Ms. Chu asking to heal him before he leaves where ever he is going

So Mun didn’t listen he only had one thing on his mind and that was you

While you started noticing him disappearing at odd hours

And sometimes the only time you guys would have time to talk would be through late night facetime calls

Or him saying that something urgent came up

You were patient and didn’t want to force it out of him so you didn’t ask him much about him

Besides you trust So Mun to know that he would speak with you when the time comes

One day So Mun had showed up at your door with a cut on his lip, one on his cheek and blood on the side of mouth and forehead after the mission with the level 3 spirit

When you opened your apartment door So Mun just engulfed you in a tight hug

You could also feel something wet on your shoulder where So Mun had nuzzled his face

You came to the conclusion that he was crying

You just stood there rubbing his back and whispering ‘it’s okay’ or ‘I got you baby’ while waiting for him to calm down

When he did calm down you silently dragged him to your bathroom and sat him down on the toilet seat

You grabbed your supplies to clean his cuts while your hands were shaking from worry

You just silently cleaned his wounds

Having silence from So Mun was also concerning considering that he is a very talkative person

When you got done cleaning his wounds you crouched in front of him

“What happened, darling?” you asked in a gentle whisper

That’s when So Mun told you everything

About the evil spirits

About the other counters

And how tonight’s mission was hard and that he felt like he had to see you instead of letting one of the counters heal him

He also mentioned how he would get a warning from ‘Yung’ for telling you this

You did scold him a bit about that

But he couldn’t hold it in anymore

Like he can never ever lie to you he loves you too much to do that

When he got done talking you just silently hugged him

Holding him close to your chest and pressing small kisses to his forehead

That’s how the rest of the night went

Often waiting for his call or him when he is on mission’s

Now to be honest So Mun was kind of nervous about introducing you to the rest

They can be a bit… much sometimes

He wants everything to go smoothly

So Mun waited for the right moment to introduce you to the others

So he decides to tell the counters first

He casually drops the news when they are all having dinner together at the hideout

The moment the sentence i have a girlfriend leaves his mouth

Fucking silence even Jeok Bong is stunned

Before all hell breaks loose and everywhere is throwing questions at poor So Mun

“Girlfriend?” “When and how and how long!??” “How does he get a girlfriend before me!”

And when he tells them that you know about the counter part

MS CHU AND HANA GO OFF ON HIM

But at the end they calm down and Ms Chu encourages So Mun to invite you over for dinner:))

So Mun playfully not threatens the other counters to act normal and not scare you off

When So Mun then mentioned to you about the counters wanting to meet you

You panic like what if they don't like you? What if they get mad that you know about them being counters?

You know that these people are important to So Mun

They are like his family and you want their approval

So you and So Mun agree on going to dinner and meeting the counters

Ms Chu wanted to make you her infamous and delicious noodles

At the start the vibe is slightly tense before Jang Mul breaks the silence with his booming voice

Ms Chu thinks you are very pretty, and sweet, and perfect for So Mun

Motak and Jeok Bong do not pass off the chance to tease the shit out of So Mun

While Hana has only one question:

“Why him??”

Obviously she’s joking

She’s already planning y'all's wedding in her head, and swears to protect you and So Mun more no matter what

So all of the counters adore you to put it plainly

After the dinner you come around for sleepovers with So Mun much more

Always being a part of game and movie nights with the other counters

And then end the night by cuddling and falling asleep with So Mun

So Mun’s determination and dedication in his counter duties would also translate into his relationship

If you ever face challenges or obstacles you can count on him to stand by your side and work tirelessly to overcome them

That being said he never ever let’s both of you go to bed angry after a fight even though yall dont have many of them

He cannot stand the fact of going to bed angst at you or knowing that you are angry at him

Scary Movie Freakout || Drabble

Hi everyone! Sorry for being not here most of the time. This is a funny yet a bit of horror comedy drabble for @the-silver-peahen-residence.

The first years of Jujutsu Tokyo High are having a movie night. They were watching a found footage horror film. While the teens are enjoying the movie while making a few comments. The two cursed spirits, Sukuna and Kinie Ger were thinking otherise.

On the weekend, the first-year students of Tokyo Jujutsu High are having a movie night in their lounge residence hall. They planned this fora. while as they want to have fun and take a break from their missions. Their movie. A horror so they can laugh and point the inaccuracies when it comes to spirits due to their line of work. The movie that the studnets were watching is a horror movie. Incantation. A story about a woman and daughter who got cursed due to the taboo that was broken. It's on Netflix. It was interesting and entertaining so the group can tear apart the movie and its absurdity. The students were impressed by the movie so far as it relates to them some way given that they're jujutsu sorcerers.

The footage of a creepy hand reaching out to the girl. The death of old woman. And many more.

However....

Sukuna and Kinie Ger see this movie as a threat. They were seeing scenes that were disturbing and fascinating, they did not say anything as they were glued to the movie.

Of course, they know some movies are fake given special side effects. But when it comes to found footage horror movies, they believe it to be real! So real, they ask questions that nobody didn't mind until it is slowly develops to the point where they become alarmed.

"Wait...so this village worships Mother Buddha?" Sukuna asked, opening a red eye on one of Yuji's slits.

"Uh yeah...you know about something, Sukuna?" Yuji asked. "No. But the idea of giving your name to a being like that sounds like a Special Grade Curse that is disguised as this 'Mother Buddha.' A blessing like that is some sort of curse." Sukuna informs them. "People think of this being as Kali but Kali doesn't curse people so it's a trick. The chanting must be some way of worshipping it."

"Huh."

The movie continues to show the so-called paranormal investigators go do some investigating and the main character named Ronan talks with the girl. They feed a frog with a lock of hair. The frogs were in the box letting out disturbing growls. Then things took a creepy turn where the heads of the baby statues were turned and the girl forced Ronan; 's head before praying a chant.

"Okay. Time to leave the village..." Kinie Ger said. But the movie shows that the next night, they went to a place where they found a little girl covered in runes. Sukuna and Kinie continue to watch this until one of the fools wants to see what the sealed tunnel is about.

They can't serious, right?!

Eito hoots while Kisho passes some popcorn to the bird as the two watch this. And then Yuan, one of the three paranormal investigators breaks the door tunnel in.

"Wait, wait, wait! What is he doing?!" Kinie asked out of Taz's head. Taz answers, "He's breaking in." And then once the tunnel door is broken into. Slience befells the students and the two curses as they heard a baby crying and some disembodied voices.

Yuan is saying something stupid by going inside and check it out.

"Is he for real?" Sukuna asked. Yuji hushs him. Yuan and Dom entered the tunnel while the woman named Ronan stayed.

"Those guys are going to die." Nobara commented, eating some popcorn. And Nobara was right. Dom was dead while Yuan is out of there, screaming his head off. Ronan got slapped.

"Good! She deserves that!" Kinie Ger yelled. But things got hetic. The village fall into an eerie disarray. First, a body being burned and the village residents were now praying while some of them are bare naked but wearing their underwear as their bodies are in runes.

"What the hell?" Kisho said.

"They either protect themselves and try to appease the curse. Looks like it's not working." Then Yuan attacks the main character in a frenzy before Yuan losing its teeth before leaving and soon, Yuan dies in most creepisest way.

"That was really creepy." Megumi admitted,sipping a soda. The scene was taped

---- The car scene ----

"Wait...I just realized the doctor who checked the camera is dead." Kisho notes. The banging of the car continues making the teens scared and the curses stunned.

"Oh yeah...that curse is messing with them alright." Sukuna commented.

"And the mantra worked," Megumi said.

"Wow. This feels so real like...I can't imagine people who can't see curses have to experience that." Yuji commented. "You know? I'm glad I can see them so I can beat them up." Noabara commented.

"It must be so scary for non-sorcerers not to understand what's going on." Taz said, feeling bad for the mom.

"Hm." Megumi said.

"Same." Kisho said.

"What?! What are you two talking about? This is real!" Sukuna said. The teens blinked at what Sukuna but didn't say anything. The movies continues to where the mother seeks a couple at a temple to perform a ritual to get rid of the curse. Placing parchements on the cursed camcorder and gives a leaf to the daughter. It looks like it would be resolved. However, to make it work is that the daughter; Dodo must not eat the next seven days.

"Can that work?" Taz asked.

"Yes but sometimes it's difficult..." Megumi said. "It does sound very difficult to get rid if you can't eat for seven days..." Miko said.

"Well I know that woman is going to mess that up!" Kinie added. The mother tried to help Dodo during these seven days. She tried the to adminster the drip and where the daughter is malnourished, the doctor can't prescribe her anything unless Dodo eats something.

"Jeez...third day..." Yuji siad.

"She has blisters...dude..." Kisho said, feeling bad for the little girl. Miko holds Kisho's hand making the boy blush but keeps her close to him.

And like Kinie said, the mother messed up and decided to feed her pineapple. Hence, getting rid of the curse went out the window. Meanwhile, one of the supporting characters was trying to figure out the curse. Sukuna watches this, "That man is now cursed from trying to understand the video. Although he is correct, this is modified version of the Bafangtian gesture. It's supposed to collect blessing so the opposite is.."

"Curses?" Kisho asked.

"Mhmm..." Sukuna answered.

"That's the opposite of blessings." Megumi added. "If it's to spread the curse?" Megumi hums.

"That does make sense..." Miko said, repeating to back to the Mountain Curse. "But why would they want to spread it?"

"We gotta watch and see. This movie is really good." Nobara asked. "Not a bad pick, Yuji."

"Thanks!"

"How is this good?! Someone is dying..." Kinie Get points this out.

"At least, he went to the Tanaric Temple so that's smart to figure out what the curse is." Sukuna said. And then the supporting character, Ming finds out the information from the Yunnan monk and forwards the video but the cursed footage of the tunnel would not be sent. However it is too late, the curse claims another victim.

"Damn! That was brutal!" Nobara said, wincing at the death of Ming.

"The curse possessed people like that. Is that how curses get people?" Yuria aid, looking disturbed.

"Yes." Megumi sighed.

"It's how they get them, brat." Sukuna said. The next scene comes back to the mother and daughter where the daughter is getting hive-like lesions which makes the students gross out and worry for the girl. But upon coming back to the temple, the priest is killed and they saw the wife facing the door, and ask if the mother let the child eat. The young sorcerers were nervous but didn't say anything as the woman kept talking, telling the girl that her own mother is going to offer her to the gods. Then the woman went through her own hair, tugging it as blood spews from her head. The teens were grossed out but they couldn't look away. Sukuna and Kinie were watching this in pure amusement. Then they get a jumpscare of the possessed dead wife scaring everyone.

"AAHAA!" The teens cried out as popcorn is thrown everywhere. The teens can't believe it. "Oh god! The kid is in the air!" Nobara cried before the girl was brought down onto the ground with a hard thud.

"Oh that's gonna hurt!"

"This is why you gotta follow instructions!!" Sukuna commented. "The mother should of followed what the shaman says and be committed to it. So now she killed two people with her idiocy!"

"Oh come on, Sukuna. Her daughter is suffering!"

"Now she's suffering more since she broke the spell!" Sukuna said. The movie continues where the mother takes the daughter to the hospital where she's stabilized but it's far from the good and the mother needs to be prepared for the worst. And what happens next is that Dodo is now walking in the hospital as if she is being escorted by someone holding its hand.

"That must be the curse!" Kisho said, "Curses don't show up on CCTV only camcorders where it's imbued with curse energy." Kisho said. The CCTV footages continues where the daughter, Dodo finds a naked girl with runes on her body.

"Do you think it's the girl from the village?" Miko said.

"Looks like it?"

Then it continues to where the mother goes to the girl with runed body. They see her get a knife and she goes to cut off her ear. And the mother explains of how they broke violated the taboo six years ago.

This is where Sukuna got upset when tunnel footage starts to paly.

"Oh my fucking god..."

"Sukuna...calm down, it's not..."

"Don't tell me to calm down and it's not that bad, brat! What the fuck are they doing?! They went inside the tunnel and start messing with things. Look at them. They're touching shit! They're pissing off the curse!!" Sukuna points this out. Meanwhile...Nobara tries her best to not laugh, seeing how Sukuna is freaking out. Yuria covers her mouth, trying not to laugh. While Miko and Megumi is sweatdropping.

"Sukuna. It's just a movie." Kisho said.

"IT'S TOO REAL TO BE MOVIE! LOOK AT THIS! They disturb the ritual items on the table and tear parchments seals to get inside! Am I'm the only one who think this is serious?! They still heard the weird voice and still kept going? Look at this shit! They cut through the bindings."

"I think it's part of going to solve the curse." Kisho.

"HOW DO YOU SOLVE A CURSE! THEY CAN'T SEE SHIT!!" Sukuna said.

"So what's up with the mirrors?" Yuria asked.

"Mirrors are used to confuse the spirits if they make a tunnel like this. Back to the ceiling mural, this Mother Buddha likes items that is decipted to keep her at bay. As for that door with the characters on it, it seems to be barrier to keep the curse from escaping and keep it at its place. If I have to guess, there has to be cursed object or sorts."

"That makes sense but wait...those brothers..."

"They are undoing the everything what the Chen clan set up..." Said Megumi with a pinch of his nose. The boys continue on.

"And they keep going and they moved THE MIRROR?!" Sukuna said, "I swear to Buddha, these two idiots!"

"Sukuna. Calm down!"

"What about the baby statues?" Miko asked.

"Also the same thing...the Mother Buddha's mural did have her holding kids. So they want to take the flesh of children in order to bless the family so it also acts as another part of the barrier. Barriers would be up using talismans and such. The ribbons, the ritualistic items, the mirrors, and statues are part of a complex barrier but simple to do."

And then the movie where the boys came to a statue. Or a throne of the statue. It had that reverse blessing gesture.

"That's gotta be it," Yuria muttered. "Look at that thing. That's the Mother Buddha statue."

"Yeah, it had everything from the mural but it has caterpillars in the bowl. Although it has red veil over it." Kisho said.

"A ceremonial sheet." Megumi added. "It's protecting its face."

"Hold up...you don't think they're going to lift the viel, do you??" Nobara asked.

More sounds are echoing in the tunnel, all around the tunnel.

"It sounds like it came from the statue..." Miko shivered a little.

"Oh god...that dumbass is going to do it, isn't he?" Sukuna uttered, running through his hair. Are these humans this stupid?! These guys are worse than the ghost hunters. Once the man named Dom uncovers the viel but it is not seen on the camera, only recording his back. It seems Dom sees it but straightens his back as if his demeanor has changed. The teens hold their breath, knowing that Dom has been possessed.

As the poor clueless man named Yuan calls out his name.

"Dom? Dom?" Yuan asked.

Then the other yells out, "What's my name?!"

"Don't say his name..." Sukuna muttered.

"Fucking dumbass..." Sukuna said. And shit hits the fan as Dom became possessed and things became chaotic. Numerous ghastly arms reached out from the walls towards the boys as the mirrors fell and shattered on impact. A swarm of bugs was unleashed and amidst the chaos, the boys were separated. Yuji is slient with his eyes widen. Nobara is sipping more soda while Kisho and Miko were holding hands.

The camera became distorted but then camera turned on in night vision mode. Then they see Dom bashing his head against the wall and what happens next when Dom turns his head at Yuan. The teens screamed...well most likely, Kisho, Yuji and the girls. Megumi winces but he did jump from the fright. Sukuna twitched an eye while Kinie is now in tuned with this movie with a 'wow'

"So that's what happened." Kinie Ger noted.

"This wouldn't happened if they didn't mess with the barrier!" Sukuna groans. "Why are humans this stupid?"

"Oh come on! Maybe there's a way to break the curse!" Said Yuji. As the movie cuts back to the mother explaining her guilt as she loves her daughter and asks for forgiveness along as she won't hurt her. She wants her daughter to promise her to forget her name and forget her own mother.

"Is she going to...." Miko widens her eyes.

"She is going to sacrifice herself...." Sukuna uttered, finished everyone's thoughts. The group watched the mother went back to the village house where she enters the tunnel and proceeds to put things in place while breaking some of the mirrors.

"She's either provoking the curse or drawing it out." Megumi said.

"And it's working..." Nobara said, seeing the leisons transfers of the mother's arm. Now the mother approaches the Mother Buddha statue, not before doing the hand gesture and ask the viewers if they remember the incantation.

"I am not going to remember this. Count me out!"

"That's hard not to remember. Heck! I will do it to save her daughter." Kisho said. Miko goes to hum with the tune when the scene of inciting incarnation is on as they see words under the Japanese words.

"Uhh..." Yuji said, seeing the incarnation and begins to mouth the words. "Brat! You better not recite this incantation. I swear..."

"I'm not!" Yuji said but his mind is chanting. Huo-ho-xiu-yi-

"BRAT!"

"I'm not saying it out loud!" Yuji cried. Si-Sei-Wu-Ma

"BUT YOU WERE THINKING IT! STOP THAT OR ELSE WE WILL BE CURSED, YOU DUMBASS!"

"IT'S JUST A MOVIE!" Yuji cried. "A FOUND FOOTAGE! SO IT'S REAL! SO KNOCK IT OFF!" Sukuna said. Yuji pauses as he didn't understand what Sukuna's problem right now, "Sukuna! A found footage is..."

"YES! A FOUND FOOTAGE IS WHAT YOU TOLD ME! It's footage that is found and shows what happened before it is found. So it's real life, yes?! So this footage is cursed so you reciting the incantation is going to get everyone cursed and I will not waste my time fighting a goddamn imposter curse who thinks it's' Mother Buddha in some foreign land!" Sukuna barked.

"Wait..Sukuna. You actually think found footage is real?" Megumi said.

"Isn't that what the term 'found footage' means?!" Sukuna asked annoyed. Taz sweatdrops as she also hears the same comments from Kinie Ger and she even gives her crap.

And then it is revealed that mother tricked all of the viewers and the main character apologizes to them while the Yunnan monk explains that the incaiton is a not blessing. "WHAT DID I SAY?!" "Pup, You recited the curse, didn't you?" Kinie Ger growls, asking Taz who is sweating a bit.

"I mean-!" Taz tries to explain before she winces. YOU IDIOT! Kinie Ger yelled at her. "I'm SORRY! It's stuck in my head!!" Taz cried.

"Oh damn. Guess I'm cursed too." Kisho said.

"Same..." Yuria said. "So wait...we're all sharing the curse??"

"It sounds like a pyramid scheme of curses..." Nobara said. "But hold on! He said that if more people bearing the curse, the diluted it becomes? Then that means...." Miko trails off. "The curse won't be as dangerous. It will be lightened and it is just as minor bad luck." Megumi said. "But if you learn about it, the deeper the effects it would have on you." "Wow! Who knew this movie knows about curses that much." Kisho grinned. "All of you..." Kinie Ger begins, "We need to shut this film now."

"Huh?! It's getting good! It's almost over!" Nobara exclaimed.

"WE'RE ALL CURSED, YOU IDIOTS! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Sukuna yelled, "That damn woman lied to us and tricked us!"

"Sukuna. The curse won't have any effect on us...." Megumi sighed. Sukuna growls, "Oh sure! It doesn't have any effect on non-sorcerers! But w'ere sorcerers and we have cursed energy so the curse is going to effect us!! WAIT! IS THAT WOMAN GOING TO UNCOVER IT! SHUT IT DOWN! PAUSE IT!"

And the Mother Buddha's face is unveiled revealing a crystal chasm of darkness with no end at sight. The teens gasped, they expected something demonic but it has no face. Just a hole of darkness of dark crystals in a spiral at the edges.

The camera glitches and shows the mother bashed her head before the camera glitches. Then the transition slowly switches to the daughter being healthy and well. Thus, the movie ends with the credits rolled in. "Wow! That was best movie ever!" Yuji said.

"Right?! I thought it was real for a moment!" Kisho said as Miko and Yuria nods in agreement. Nobara nods eagerly, "I almost thought the curse was real!"

"It was so scary. I was about to scream when the woman came out at us." Taz said while Yuji laughs, patting her head.

"I got to admit, it's pretty creepy." Megumi said.

But the person who is more freaked out as he doesn't want to admit it was....

"Why are you guys laughing about?! Am I'm the one who thinks this is real?"

"Um...Sukuna..."

"The King is right. I do not like this curse! We have to find it and kill it!"

"Uhhh..." Kisho looks dumbfounded. Did these two not know?!

"You two...it's a found footage film, it's not-" Megumi begins to explain this.

"It is real and we're now cursed if we don't do something!" Sukuna barked. The group are now wondering. Do they actually think this movie is real?!

"Wait...you think the curse is real? For reals?" Nobara said. Sukuna replies, "Yes. I can read Tantric scriptures very much and the characters are very real! So stop being morons and figure out where this curse is."

"And???"

"That means we gotta find that village!"

"Sukuna! It's a movie! It's not real! What are you freaking out for?" Yuji asked. Sukuna groans, "I'm not freaking out for shit! You're the ones not taking this seriously!"

"The King is right! We must kill this Buddha Curse!"

"It's not real! It's a movie!" Yuji argued.

"Okay so everything we saw isn't real?!" Sukuna said. "Yes?" Yuria said.

"Mister Sukuna, it's..."

"Dude, you make it sound like you're scared of this curse." Siad Kisho which are the very wrong words to say. Sukuna snaps, "I'm not scared of anything! If anything, you're the dumbass who recited the incantation as well!"

"I thought it was a prayer to"

"The woman lied to us on camera!" Kinie Ger said. "We hardly believe that this is a movie. Remember when those ghost hunters almost unleash a calamity by tearing those seals from that damn hotel."

"Oh my god..." Megumi said as he didn't to remind him of that mission. Taz was embarrassed by that memory. Her first mission.

"Ghost hunters?" Kisho blinked.

"We will tell you later," Nobara tells him. Megumi sighs, "Kinie and Sukuna, if it's the film is true. Teh curse is already diluted thanks to the character's plan so it won't have any effect on us."

"Doesn't matter! Ask the Six-Eyes on that found footage." "Can we do it tomorrow???" Yuji whined.

"NO!"

The teens groaned and Taz managed to calm them down that they can talk to Gojo tomorrow morning.

-------- Tomorrow Morning ------

Taz and Yuji didn't get enough sleep because their cursed spirits' worries didn't get them a good sleep. Nobara, Megumi and Kisho were sweatdropping seeing their bags under their eyes.

"Soooo....wait...Sukuna and Kinie think found footage films are real? For real?" Gojo asked with a smile.

"Uh-huh," Yuji said.

"Yep," Taz said.

"Sukuna thinks the movie we watch is real because it involves a curse in Taiwan..."

"What was the curse and what movie?"

"Incantation." They all said.

"Mother Buddha!" Sukuna's mouth appears on Yuji's cheek. Gojo blinked, "Wait....I think I remember seeing that movie before!" He said.

"Okay?"

"It was inspired by real events so it is real."

"HA! YOU SEE?!" "The case was already solved by a jujutsu sorcerer though. Didn't I tell you all this in class?" Gojo chuckles making Sukuna and Kinie. "Wait so it is real?" Nobara stared. Gojo nods, "Most of it, the Chen family, the ghostbusting guys, the mother, and the daughter. The daughter has been adopted by a sorcerer to keep tabs on the curse. But who knows it's GREATLY exaggerated. The Yunnan Monk was real though. There is a camcorder but it is been placed in a shrine under the protection of a talisman and parchment. We also set up a curtain around the 'Chen' family so nobody will enter the tunnel again. But who knows! This script must be written by a retired jujutsu sorcerer who is having funsies at everyone's expense!" He snickers.

"This is not a joke! Are we supposed to do something about the Buddha Curse or not?" Sukuna grumbled.

"To clarify, the so-called Mother Buddha curse was just an old curse that is the ancestors of so-called 'Chen' family and the chant isn't real but close to it. Plus the curse was weakened over time thanks to the mother who diluted the curse's power through the caring of sharing despite not being a sorcerer. It's a smart way and I guess the sorcerer wanted to make a story out of that!"

"Soooo that does mean...we got nothing to worry about?" Kisho said.

"Yes! Therefore, Sukuna and Kinie have no need to panic."

"WE'RE NOT PANICKING!" They both shouted making Taz and Yuji sigh.

"Oh, come on! It's okay! You seem a little scared from that movie! It's fine. It's not like you would know the difference between fiction and reality!" Gojo grins while Kinie Ger and Sukuna look ready to strangle him. The words 'scared' is not in their vocabulary. After all, found footage films are a great medium if you do it right! The movie you watch is pretty good. If you want to watch more, check out Paranormal Activity!" Gojo said.

"Please don't....sensei!' Taz and Yuji said, wanting some good night's sleep.

"Paranormal Activity?" Sukuna questioned.

"Or Hell House!" Gojo-sensei smiles. "That way you can tell what's real and what's not!" He smiles.

"Ugh....why me?" Megumi said, pinching his nose while Kisho patted his back as a way to comfort him. Nobara snickers, "You know...seeing their freakouts sounds pretty funny." She whispered to the two.

"Yeah but still...." Kisho said while Yuji and Taz asked for a day off so they can sleep in a little more. Gojo-sensei approves it while assuring the curses there is no need to be concerned.

And thus, Kisho and Nobara took the two back to campus so they can sleep in more. Leaving Megumi with Gojo-sensei at the teachers' lounge.

"So is it really true?" Megumi said.

"About?" Gojo muses.

"The curse."

"More or less. But it is based on a true story, you know how movies go. They upped it a little to spook people. I was spooked a little about this Mother Buddha. It's hard to believe it's real. Though the curse went by a different name that case is long solved. The film is similar to the real footage but nobody saw it or so I heard! By the way, you really need to get those two, Sukuna and Kinie to watch more horror-found footage films. Seeing them freak out about it is pretty funny!"

"Is that why you mentioned those other titles?"

"Of course! Though none of them are my favorites! But the last paranormal activity: Last of Kin might freak them out. Although, the Blair Witch Project is pretty scary and so is that Gonjamin: Haunted Asylum one are my favorite ones." Gojo snickered. "Right. Let's hope those two never seen those movies." Megumi sweatdropped. And with that, Sukuna and Kinie Ger's freakouts were funny to behold but can be taxing for the two vessels. So scary movies without the found footages genre is much better.

Although...Sukuna is interested in them. To be continued.

For the portrayal meme! I was tired last night so sorry this is kinda later lol. It's hard for me to proper words to things sometimes. But I think the way you write is very fun! I know we haven't written long, but I think your muses are very lively and you do a good job of balancing the comedy and horror enough it can still be serious at times and silly in others without feeling too discordant or out of place.

I also think you manage to make your characters feel like people, who are imperfect and have flaws, from what I've read of them in our threads and on my dash. They are fun, and you give us ways to see the kind of people they are. You don't just say 'my character is verbose' you show it-- and i think it's very fun getting to understand the kind of person your character is just from seeing them in action and picking up the details!

If there was one thing I could think of, it's just that some minor tweaking to pacing could make your already good writing a tiny bit stronger! As an example, in our first thread with Thursday, I think the way she talked was great! It really showed Artair that who he was talking to was friendly and enthusiastic, without you having to say 'she's friendly and enthusiastic and chatty' or anything like that necessarily. It helped me understand a character i barely knew a bit better and endeared her to me. Honestly in my brain i was like 'oh sometimes i do that xD' seeing her response!

But i think having it be her talking a bunch, and then immediately transitioning to them moving on made it a bit wonky for me, because my muse wasn't given the chance to respond without it being back-tracking to reply. And that's not necessarily a bad thing! But my trouble with back-tracking is that if you have too much, then it almost.... morphs into characters having multiple conversations at the same time, but one is set further back in time, but they're overlapping each other? It just kinda gets messy in the timeline lol, which i used to be horrible about and the number of conversations would get huge and it'd be --- a real mess lol

So for me, I think it can be better to either leave the replies with the space to interact first before transitioning (maybe save the paragraphs of the transition to use, but next reply once there's been a chance for a reaction), or even hit up the other mun to see if it's a good place for a transition if I'm worried-- OR to lean into it as a character trait! Like having her talking but barreling ahead on purpose! I kind of adapted my response to be more like Thursday had said all she did and then kind of continued on in a vein similar to that, despite you mentioning her waiting, so it'd be more like Artair had to hurry after to keep up and didn't get time to respond, to keep it more in the present with the dialogue but still following the transition. I don't think there's anything wrong with a muse forcing a transition, it's just better if we play it like it's purposeful, or give the other muse a moment to react if we want it to be more of a mutual proceeding ahead. xD

Now I do want to say we only JUST started rping so it's not like it's even something I could call a trend at this point! It's just something that I worked around because-- -that's part of rp! keeping on your toes and working with stuff! it definitely wasn't anything bad, and certainly not enough trouble i had to reach out about anything, but in the spirit of trying to offer something constructive, i think that's the only thing I can think of! So far I'm really enjoying our rps and think they are very fun and your writing has a good energy that keeps me engaged and immersed. I'm excited to see more of Thursday and Doomsday and the kind of people they are and what they do, and learn about the world they're from in the meanwhile! ^^

We have just started rping together and I'm already having lots of fun with our character dynamics and I'm enjoying your muses and writing and everything. So I really appreciate you sending this in to me!

Don't worry, you are absolutely not the first person who has pointed out this critique to me. Pacing in my threads is definitely something that's something I'm aiming to work on. I think it's become a difficulty for me because a lot of times I feel compelled to take the lead on threads. If I may be candid, and hopefully this doesn't come across the wrong way or offensive to anybody (certainly not to you because we just started rping together!), but a lot of people I've rped since I've started roleplaying on tumblr have a tendency to... I guess take the back seat when it comes to threads. That is to say, threads stagnate because their muses aren't doing anything, they are simply reacting to what my muse has said/done. So I always feel compelled to have my muse say/do something at the end of the thread to move things forward, and that causes that disjointedness and "moving things too quickly" that's happening. Does that make sense?

I will work on this for sure, especially since you are the second person who has brought up this same critique today alone. I sincerely appreciate that even though we're new at writing together, you have taken the time and courage to share your views with me. It is extremely helpful to me!

Regarding the compliments, thank you so much! Showing not telling is something I always wonder about in roleplay because I'm sitting here thinking, is my rp partner picking up on this or do I need to explain my muse's actions in text? I love writing, so sometimes I can send a whole book at you, but I have to try not to do that because I don't want to overwhelm my writing partners either. I'm really glad that my muse's actions and characterizations are shining through!

Also, I have to say, being candid again, and this might be a bit critical - but I hate "perfect" characters. It really bothers me when there's a character who can never do any wrong, or when people tailor their characters to be completely perfect and never make any mistakes in any situation ever, they always get along with everyone, they always have the "right" answer, they're stronger than everyone else, they're just perfect in every way. It just bugs me. And not just when it's roleplay muses, I'm talking about characters in any kind of media. Give me flaws! I need people to feel more real and for there to be ugliness and conflict! Not everything in roleplay has to go 100% smoothly, at least not for me. So yes, my muses WILL be stupid and erratic and make mistakes sometimes, and I will never be sorry for it. I'm always glad when people point out that they're flawed. :)

Chap. 21-Let's Talk About It

Here it is guys! Finally, you’ll be getting lore on Vanessa and the Prince and why they turn into monsters.

Like my other two fanfics, I also worked on this during my trip to Canada but didn’t finish it as I was so focused on getting my Fairy Au and my Welcome to Dreamworld fanfic done first before finishing this one.

It was Thursday, and class only had a few minutes left before they were let out and both students and teachers could go home and rest.

For Lucas, he wanted to go talk to Vanessa before she left. After almost a week of thinking about it, he wanted to ask Vanessa about the curse. Hopefully, Vanessa could give him the answers he’s been looking for.

Finally, the bell rang.

The class stopped what they were doing and gathered their stuff, leaving the classroom and heading home for the day.

“You have a great rest of the day! I’ll see you all tomorrow!” Lucas yelled as he waved goodbye to his class.

Once they were gone, he let out a sigh and carefully went next door to Vanessa’s classroom, hoping she was still there.

To Lucas’s relief, she was there, packing up her stuff before heading home. He waited just a bit before opening the door.

“Oh!” Vanessa exclaimed. “Lucas, what’s up?” 

“N-nothing,” Lucas replied. “I was just wondering if you wanna talk.”

Vanessa chuckled. “About what?” she asked.

Lucas was about to reply- but not before urging Vanessa back inside her classroom. He followed after and closed the door. Once he saw it was safe to talk, Lucas continued.

“It’s about my curse,” He stated.

Vanessa sighed. 

She knew this day would come, after the outburst she had in front of Aubrey a month ago it took Lucas long enough for him to ask about that.

“Alright we’ll talk about it- but not here,” Vanessa said.

“Where would you like to talk about it?” Lucas asked.

Vanessa thought for a second before answering. “We’re going to the local park we always went to as kids.”

“Got it,” Lucas replied.

Once most of the students had gone home for the day, it was safe for Lucas and Vanessa to leave the school together, putting their important stuff in Lucas’s car and walking towards the park.

Once there, they walked past the playground to a secret area where they always played at. Upon going through the bushes, they saw nothing had changed in their secret hideout.

“It's been a long time since we visited this place,” Lucas commented.

“Yeah,” Vanessa replied. “Last time we were here was… when you proposed to me.”

Lucas sighed, remembering that day. 

He planned it on a Friday during a sunset. It was perfect- until the surprise rainstorm happened, but despite how wet he and Vanessa were, the proposal still happened.

Lucas still wished he and Vanessa did get married and start a life together. However, this curse prevented that from happening.

Vanessa led Lucas to the tree they always used to sit at, talk and sit down, letting out a sigh.

“Man, I miss being here,” Lucas said.

“Same!” Vanessa added as she let out a relaxing sigh.

The two sat there, reminiscing about their time at the secret hideout. During that time, Vanessa and Lucas kept on glancing at one another not saying a word, just blushing when one looked at the other. 

Seeing that both of them were not going to get anywhere with this, Vanessa decided to speak up. “So, you're probably wondering what’s been going on. About the curse I mean.”

Lucas turned to her and nodded.

Vanessa pulled out her smartphone from her bag and went to her photos. After a moment of scrolling, she found the photo she was looking for.  “I did some research and found out what this curse is,” she revealed,  showing the photo to Lucas-who took the phone and looked at the info on the curse.

Lucas read what the curse was about as Vanessa continued to explain what it was.

“It’s called the Ghostly Curse. A curse that is crested, calling upon evil spirits and turning you into a ghostly demon,” She explained. 

He looked through the photo, swiped to the next page, and looked at more drawings of the curse. “I’ve been researching this for a year!” Lucas exclaimed, “How did you find all this information?” 

“I found it hidden away in the manor. Apparently, someone found the book, but some of the pages were ripped out,” Vanessa explained. “I think those pages were the cure, and whoever cursed us ripped it out and hid it from us.”

“But why would you hide it? What in your crazy mind made you think about hiding it?!” Lucas asked, raising his voice.

“Because I didn’t do it!” Vanessa yelled.

Lucas scoffed. “Yeah, sure!” 

“Lucas, I'm serious! What proof do you need to know I didn’t do this to you?!” Vanessa yelled.

Lucas opened his mouth and stepped back a bit. 

Vanessa was right; he didn’t have proof that Vanessa did this. However, her behavior towards him after the proposal was enough for him.

Vanessa calmed down and stepped back. “You don’t, do you?” she asked.

“No, I don’t,” Lucas replied. “Just your behavior changed after I proposed to you.”

“That’s because I was cursed first,” Vanessa replied. 

However, Lucas didn’t listen and kept on going,

“The day we broke it off, you turned into this monster right in front of me, all because you thought I cheated on you!” Lucas yelled.

“And I’m sorry about it!” Vanessa apologized. 

“You really hurt me, Vanessa! I told you I was just giving the florist money! I would never cheat on you. I'm not like HIM!?” Lucas screamed.

Suddenly a blue flame appeared in his hands and blasted towards a tree, putting a large hole through it.

Lucas and Vanessa were horrified at what they just witnessed. Vanessa slowly turned towards Lucas as he looked down at his hands. 

The flames were still glowing and turning purple.

“W-What’s going on!?” Lucas asked, panicking.

“The curse,” Vanessa answered. “It messes with your emotions. If you're emotional you’ll make it worse.” 

Lucas started to hyperventilate as the flames began going up to his arms. This made his transformation process a lot faster than usual.

“V-Vanessa!” He coughed out, his voice starting to change, “H-Help!”

“Lucas, stay calm. Please,” Vanessa begged.

Lucas tried to slow down his breathing, but he was still transforming into his cursed form. His hair turned darker and purple. Seeing nothing was working, his panic grew, which made him transform more.

Vanessa tried to hold Lucas’s hand, but was scared, thinking he would attack her again. 

With a gulp, she slowly put her hand on his and held it.

Lucas’s eyes snapped open as he slowly looked at Vanessa’s hands. He gasped and looked up at Vanessa- who was now crying seeing him in this state.

“Please, you have to stay calm-” Vanessa repeated, “If you don’t it’ll get worse.”

Lucas slowly nodded and tried to stay calm. He tried thinking of things that usually calmed him down: his friends, his family, his students, anything that made him happy.

Slowly, the curse started to fade, and Vanessa’s smile started to grow. “That’s it, Luke. Stay calm, alright?” she reassured him.

Lucas let out an exhale and opened his eyes, seeing he had calmed down and that the curse had gone away. He was in shock seeing Vanessa help him, and smiled at her.

“Better?” Vanessa asked.

Lucas nodded in reply, “Thank you, Vanessa.”

Vanessa smiled and let go of Lucas’s hand. She then went into her bag and grabbed a purple charm bracelet that had a blue flame charm.

“You’ll need this,” she said, handing him the bracelet.

Lucas took the bracelet and examined it. “What’s this?” he asked.

“During my research, I found something that helps stabilize the curse temporarily,” Vanessa explained.

Lucas put the bracelet on, and a purple glow illuminated from the flame. He didn’t feel different, just the same.

“That’s it?” Lucas asked.

“I suppose so,” Vanessa replied. She started to walk away- but not before giving one more glance at Lucas. “Well, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow, then.” 

Just as Vanessa was ready to leave, Lucas spoke up.

“Wait!” Lucas yelled, stopping Vanessa. He walked over to her, and with a deep breath, spoke up. “I don’t know who cursed us, but I know  it wasn’t you.”

Vanessa was surprised-but gave a small smile, seeing Lucas finally believed her.

“However,” he continued, “because of how you treated me- and how I treated you, it’s gonna be hard to get along, again.”

“I thought so,” Vanessa replied.

“But-since we’re both researching this-we need to work together and figure out how to cure it,” Lucas said.

Vanessa nodded. “Right! How about…” She paused to think. “Tomorrow.”

“Alright. Meet me at my apartment after school, we can go over what we find. Hopefully, we can find answers,” Lucas explained.

“Okay,” Vanessa replied.

The two left their hideout, and saw people leaving the park. They decided to do the same, knowing they’ll be busy all day tomorrow.

Vanessa glanced at her hand and Lucas’s hand, and hesitated once again to hold it. She held it before, but it was desperately needed.

Lucas saw Vanessa wanted to hold his hand again- but while he allowed her earlier, he was still too untrusting for her to hold it again, so he put his hand in his pocket.

Vanessa saw this and frowned, but wasn’t upset.

She knew it would be a while before the two trusted each other fully, but she knew whoever cursed them would pay for this.

As they walked, they didn’t notice they were being followed by the same creature as before. 

He smirked and chuckled.

Boys Planet Episode 6, Part 1 Recap

Alright, let’s cover Episode 6 with my usual mix of commentary, thoughts, analysis, reminders, screen caps, and silliness.

We start at 45 seconds in with a partial ranking, including votes so far (no distinction is made between K and G votes, or if these have already been blended using MNET math). Since 28 is the new cut off, this range may be of interest to us Star Creators. Here’s what they tell us, and I threw in their mission song and their rank as of the elimination in the previous episode:

None of the top 18 from the previous ranking has fallen into this range (though for all we know they could have fallen further, though it seems unlikely). Most of them are roughly where they were before, though the biggest story is definitely Cai Jin Xin, who was 50th at the first elimination and has jumped to 25th. It’s also worth noting that Anthonny has fallen from 19th to 31st -- kind of a big fall in context. 

Next, we can skip past the intro and recap to 1:39. The trainees are gathering to talk about their feelings… sort of. Because really this is a prank, and the staff has this woman made up to look like a scary ghost appear in front of them, and then when they run backward, a man in an obvious mask rush at them from behind. I don’t really love pranks, so I’ll focus on stuff I do enjoy: 

I like how the boys seem to be sitting in sort of random groups, not all K or all G, and they seem comfortable with each other. I hate the K-G competition stuff, and I’m so glad they do too. Like, I worry about the world and how we’re getting along with each other as a planet and stuff like this makes me feel a little better, that the basic spirit of empathy and friendship prevails even when MNET tries to drive a wedge between them.

Haruto is wearing a tiara. 

3. The mask the monster is wearing looks like it cost $3.99 at Family Dollar and I’m kind of here for it

4. Park JiHoo barely reacting to it, saying, “I told you, they totally would do this! They had to do scary stuff!” Ok, Park JiHoo, you just won me over. 

5:02 in, the episode actually starts! 

The boys all come in, and now they’re all wearing simple long sleeved white t-shirts that either say K or G, along with name tags that have their rank and name on them. I’m going to reproduce their current name and ranks here, so if at any time you are feeling like “who is that?” you can consult the list. They’re all wearing name tags with their numbers on them, so it’ll be easy enough, I hope! 

The white shirts don’t look good on any of them. Also, they all look tired. They’ve been instructed by the producers to wonder aloud about who the new star master will be (I assume). Kim Tae Rae is hoping it’ll be Hyolyn (from Sistar), and I mean, yes? That’d be great. 

But it’s Huta (Lee Minhyuk) from BTOB! A lot of the trainees seem really overwhelmed, especially Cha Woongki, who is freaking out, Kermit-meme style. For the record,  BToB debuted in 2012, and Huta was born in 1990. I liked his song “Ya” a few years back. He also has a song called “Boom” that I’d never heard but it’s got a great pre-chorus. He likes to go shirtless sometimes, and it seems like the people like it, judging by the “most played” sections of his videos. Side note: BTOB is signed under Cube, which is the same agency that Hui and his group Pentagon are from, so Huta is probably a sunbae/hyung to Hui. They don't seem to greet each other, though, so who knows.

Huta checks in with international sweetheart, Sung Hanbin, about how he feels about being ranked first place (“It made me think I should work harder from now on!”) and then checks in with Jeong I-chan, ranked 52nd, about how he feels barely having made it (“I’ll work harder from now on!”). Huta tells them all, basically, to never give up, or something, and they’re all touched. Now that everyone has decided to work harder, let’s give them a challenge!

Side note: Jeong I-chan seems to be in a better headspace now than he was at the elimination ceremony, so that’s good. 

Huta reveals the challenge: A Dual Position Battle. 

For the “Vocal & Rap” performances, they have to rearrange a song and write new raps.

For the “Vocal & Dance” performances, they have to rearrange the song and come up with their own choreography.  

For the “Rap & Dance” performances, they have to write a new rap and come up with new choreography. 

Considering that very few of these performers are likely to know how to do any of these skills, this is going to be a challenge. It’s especially cruel to expect non-native speakers of Korean to write a rap in Korean -- I wonder if they’re allowed to write a rap in English, if they speak that? Enough raps in K-pop songs are 50%+ in English that it wouldn't be unrealistic for them to write in English. I mean, risky risky wiggy wiggy this is an emergency, you know? 

Huta says, “the dual position battle will also be a battle between K and G,” and they’re all like SELMA???? (REALLLY??????) Huta doesn’t even have the heart (or cue-card reading skills) to drag out the joke, and almost immediately tells them that no, he was just kidding -- they can completely ignore the K/G divide from now on. They are all super happy to hear that. I’m happy, too!

Tomboy, originally by G-Idle; Limousine originally by BE’O, which I admit I wasn't familiar with; Man in Love originally by Infinite, which came out in 2013 and I’m not familiar with; and Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms, originally by High4 and IU. 

They’re all super excited for Tomboy, which was a massive hit. The older trainees remember Man in Love, but the younger ones have never even heard of it.  

Vocal & Dance

Butterfly, originally by BTS; Feel Special originally by Twice; Love Killer originally by Monsta X; Home by Seventeen

At the announcement of the Twice song, Cha Woongki starts doing the choreo, and Seo Won says, “are you ready for the group of queens?” which is important foreshadowing. You guys, I am not going to speculate on anyone’s sexuality, especially since in Korea, being gay is still considered a mental illness by many, but I will say that a lot of guys on this show are surprisingly comfortable with their feminine side, and I’m here for it! Zhang Shai Bo is losing it, since Feel Special is his favorite song of all time, and I mean, same. 

Love Killer is also my favorite song of all time. It was my ring tone for a long time until my fella got sick of my phone saying “Oh, I’m sorry, did I make you anxious?” every time someone tried to reach me about my car's extended warranty. 

Side note: Krystian seems to have redone his hair a bit, dying it a bit darker and dying his eyebrows brown again, and it looks miles better. I’m glad to see it. 

Rap & Dance

Law by Yoon Mi Rae and Bibi; Rush Hour by Crush; Zoom by Jessi; and Gang by H1ghr music. 

The trainees are overwhelmed at the idea of trying to improve on a song by Bibi, which is the correct way to feel, since Bibi is a goddess who walks amongst us. Rush Hour was already sung by Jay and Kamden in the Star Level Test, and no one wants to compete with Jay’s vocals. 

At the reveal of Zoom, Takuto says, IN KOREAN, to Haruto, “I like this song so much I set it as my morning alarm.” Two things: Takuto, you learned a lot of Korean! His pronunciation sounds good to me, not that I’m the best judge, but yeah. He could be speaking Japanese to Japanese-speaking Haruto, but he’s choosing Korean -- that’s big. Also, Takuto likes Jessi? That’s a relief, because I can’t take someone who is all aegyo all the time. 

My little cousin Kum Jung Hyeon says he’ll never do Gang, never-never-cherlte-cherlte, so you know he’ll end up doing it. 

At 15:10 in, Huta begins to explain how song selection will work, and basically, it’s this -- the lowest ranked people go first, and choose a song, but if someone higher ranked wants to push them out, they can. If you get pushed out, you have to go to a song that has room in it. Unlike in previous seasons, the arrival of a newer person doesn’t automatically kick out the lowest ranked person, though. Instead, the new person chooses the person they want to kick out. So this will be extra awkward. 

The members of the team that wins within each category will get 100,000 points each, and the one who gets the most votes within that team will also get 150,000 extra points. Also, the three teams that win get to go on MNET and get special online promotion. 

Since MNET spent their whole budget on those matching pajamas that time, this is the best they can do for a set for the song selection process, which runs from about 17:00 to 31:00. 

Is that duct tape forming the lanes? I love the chandeliers just sort of hanging there from the ceiling, just the perfect compliment for that elementary-school style indestructible gray carpet. 

I’m not going to recap the song selection beat for beat, but here are some things I enjoyed or thought were interesting:

Tomboy is the most popular and fought over song, followed closely by Love Killa.  

Krystian got a real evil edit for pushing someone out -- they were all pushing each other out like that, but only he looks "evil."

The Rap/dance songs filled up the most slowly.

I loved Ma Xing Jiang confirming that he’s in front of the correct song by doing a little of the choreo (since maybe reading English isn’t a specialty of his).

I think it’s a bummer that Yoon Jong Woo can’t do Love Killa, since I think he’d suit it really well. But I don’t know why he chose to do Home -- he said he wanted to do a performance with Seung Eun, but I still don’t understand. 

It was also a bit sad when Ricky got kicked out of Love Killa, party because I think he’d be great at it and partly because he really wanted to work with Mr. Sexy Kim Ji Woong.

I don’t think Matthew should have taken Tomboy. I think he would have done better with a lighter, sweeter concept song.

I loved it when my little cousin Kum Jeong Hyun just wanted to have General Gunwook on his own team and so was begging Sungbin to kick out Gunwook 

I loved Lee SeungHwan just being like, "yeah, alright, I’ll rap and dance, heck yeah," when he got kicked out of his team. That’s the spirit, dude! I keep low-key forgetting who Lee SeungHwan is, so I double checked. He was on the Mirotic team for the Star Level test, and he was the put-upon and hard-working leader of Lee Da Eul’s very own personal song, Danger by BTS. Oh yeah! Him! He’s a peach. 🍑

We learn, via a subtitle that is hardly addressed, that our sweet Lee Hwanhee, the main vocalist from Kill This Love-K (who is also from the nugu group Up10tion), has left the show due to health issues. I hope he’s ok. He can still sing, at least!

We also find out that the Top 9 get these fairly ugly windbreaker jackets to wear, so that’s... good…? I guess...? Also, I wonder if these fine themed garments are available for purchase at a store near me at an unreasonable price, so I can show my love for the boys through consumerism.

Seo Won feels bad as the only non-top 9 on the team -- he’s worried he will drag the team down. 

Matthew wants to be the leader to prove he’s not a baby who needs to be taken care of. I get the feeling that Kim Ji Woong doesn’t really like being the leader, and is only too happy to hand over the reins.  

When it comes time to pick someone for the killing part, English pronunciation becomes an issue, and Matthew correctly says that the feeling matters more than pronunciation since they can always work on pronunciation later. They give the part to Kim Ji Woong, which is really a good call, though I think Kim Gyuvin would do a great job at it too.

Cai Jin Xin says, “I love our team,” in English, and (a) his English is really well pronounced and (b) me too!! Woongki says the team is well balanced, because they have two G and two K team members. Also, as Jin Xin points out, “only the pretty guys are here.” I will say that this seems to be the Team Full of Queens that Seo Won prophesied earlier, and again, I am totally here for it. 

They are realizing that it might be a tough job, because they’re all comparatively low ranked, and also, the music is really high pitched. They are given a version of the song in a lower key, but I feel like they could lower it further, right? They are allowed to rearrange the song. Because it’s so high, no one wants the main vocal, or even a normal amount of stage time. Woongki, who seems to be taking on an actual leadership role in addition to the Killing Part, encourages the others to be confident, saying that this might be their last stage so they should take the chance to stand in the center one more time. He interviews later on that he’s never had to beg people to take parts before!

They’re distributing the parts, which of course is tricky here since there are a lot of great vocalists on this team. Ji Hoon is still really really bummed to not get to work on Love Killa, but he’s consoled a bit by getting to work with a good team who seem to all respect and like him. 

The original choreo is a lot, and the chorus is really high. Naturally they give the main vocals to titanium voiced Yoo Seung Eon whose voice is like, Exo quality. I love Kim Tae Rae, but I have to admit that Seung Eon is the best vocalist on the show, better even than Hui. 

The team is trying to decide who will take which dance position, so they dance to “Na bina”, which is kind of funny.

This team has a nice sense of camaraderie. 

Lim Jun Seo is lacking in skills, and is open about that, which I have mixed feelings about. Honesty is good, but you need to have a positive attitude. The other boys on the team promise to help him -- Chen Kaun Jui offers to help him with his dancing, and Cong offers to help with his singing, saying, in Korean, “I too. Vocal.” Jun Seo replies by calling him “hyung,” which makes Cong smile. Cong’s Korean is obviously still a bit elementary; that’s not a criticism, just a note. I have all the sympathy in the world for the global trainees who don’t know Korean. 

Incidentally, we see in a flashback that Lee Da Eul volunteered both of them to go first on the first day, and he did that knowing that Jun Seo did NOT want to go first, and I’ll let all 2-3 of you reading this decide for yourself whether that’s a cool thing to do or not.

Anyway, they are trying to decide who gets the killing part based on freestyle dance, and Jun Seo is like, so we’ll learn the choreo quickly? And it’s like, no honey, no, you sweet child. Once he realizes what freestyle means, he’s out. I’m like, “Just give the killing part to CKJ already, because you know he deserves it,” and they do.

I hate that the story is mostly about Jun Seo, instead of being about the far more talented Chen Kuan Jui. I didn’t like CKJ much at first that much for whatever reason, but he’s grown on me a lot. I think he’s sweet, hard working, and an incredible dancer. I don’t think he’ll make it onto the final lineup, but I hope we keep seeing him around the kpop verse.

This team consists of mostly people who got kicked out of the song they wanted. So, their spirits are kind of low. My little cousin and noted yeller Kum Jun Hyeon is bummed out -- he really wanted that bleepin’ Tomboy. And none of them have any experience making choreo. I do think that my little muffin Mun Jung Hyun knows something about rapping, and that maybe Lee Jeong Hyeon does too, so fingers crossed. 

Side note: Chen Jian Yu looks great with his current hair color. Miles better than the light blue and also better than the dark color he had in the Star Level Test. 

No one steps forward to make the choreo, so my little cousin Kum Jun Hyeon finally steps up, saying, “Although I can’t guarantee the quality, if I didn’t do it, I didn’t think anyone else could do it.” I find that very charming. Fighting, little cuz!  

WHAT KIND OF PERFORMANCE WILL THEY PREPARE???? We’ll find out…

Keita, who is really feeling himself, says that he likes the song and wanted to do it, and adds, “I thought things would go well if I came to lead this team, regardless of whoever came or was here already.” Like, he’s not wrong. 

Naturally, they make him leader -- I knew that as soon as I saw that he was on the team. 

And they start practicing the Killing Part -- it’s that beginning part, “I see you looking at my P-I-C,” and they all want it. Hyunbeen says that they’re all wary and competitive with each other, and he’s especially desperate to win the extra points because of his low rank. He wins the killing part, though, so he’s over the moon. Oh god, are the judges going to tell his team to give the killing part to someone else?

This team is excited to be working together at first -- both Wang Zi Hao and Lee Yedam are among the very best dancers on the show. However, most of them are not really rappers -- they’re just vocalists. Park Hanbin says, “I rap like I’m reading a book.” Hey, we saw Lee Yedam rap in his Star Level test, and he was really good! But they’re worried anyway -- most of them don’t specialize in rapping and they don’t know how to write lyrics. Oh no! A lot of trainees I really like are on this team. Well, to be fair, I like almost all the trainees at this point, so I could say that about pretty much any of the teams. 

It does seem that Na Kamden has some vague idea of how to write rap, at least. That’s really all you need -- one person who can write a rap and teach it to the others. Fighting, Kamden! Yujin steps up, too, saying, “I did learn a bit about rap.” Meanwhile, the other three can make the choreo. They’re going to get through it! 

Side note: Did they make Han Yujin at the same laboratory where they made Sung Hanbin? Do they also make purse sized dragons there? Little dragons that will love you and be loyal to you? Is that the kind of thing they also make at this laboratory? I hope I can visit there someday.

By the time we visit them, they’re already dancing. We can see from their sign thing in the background that Ricky has the Killing Part, and is both main dancer and main rapper; and we watch as Oh Sungmin is unanimously voted the leader. He’s the oldest, he used to be in a debuted group (TOO/T01) and he’s also the only 3 star (and there aren’t any 4 stars). So, that makes sense. But it does seem odd to me to be starting the choreography when they haven’t written their raps yet…?

Naturally, it’s hard to teach Takuto. You can see that he’s doing the steps more like they’re the steps from “Na Bina.” Sungmin is trying -- he even says “Daijobou?” to Takuto, which is Japanese for “Ok?” -- but he’s going too fast for someone like Takuto, and he’s going to need to break it down a LOT more. 

Meanwhile, Ma Jing Xiang is trying to move ahead, and there’s an interview from Hiroto about how MJX is just “thinking about himself,” how he did the same thing in Very Nice, trying to learn the choreo from the K-team who were so far ahead. Ricky apparently is studying the choreography video, and again, we’re told that this is bad, but why? Ricky speaks a few languages and is a kind soul, and I bet he’s trying to learn the choreo at least in part to be able to help his teammates. But the show makes this looks selfish, and Oh Sungmin interviews, “We need to work on our teamwork first.” 

I don’t understand this take. Why does the word “teamwork” seem to mean “We have to get Takuto step-perfect on each dance phrase before the team can go to the next phrase”? Couldn’t teamwork mean, “We work on different things to get the whole job done”? Doesn’t it only benefit the team to have more people who know the choreo and music in general? While Takuto does the same 10 steps over and over, why should the whole team do that? Especially considering that Takuto is in the safety zone, rank wise, while MJX is definitely not and needs to do everything in his power to put on a good show. Takuto can go ahead and screw this up and he’ll still probably make it through the next elimination round. And that’s a bummer, but that’s how these shows are. 

Ok, let me out myself. I’m a teacher. WHAT? Yeah. I am. I don’t work at a school -- I teach adults, who sometimes are older than me, as well as teenagers and little kids. It’s a weird job and I’m not YOUR teacher so don’t worry about it, ok? Alright. So we go that out of the way. And the thing about being a good teacher is that you have a responsibility to the students who are ahead just as much as to the students who are behind, and a lot of teachers don’t know how to fulfill that obligation.

And it’s not really Oh Sungmin’s fault that he doesn’t know how to be a really great teacher, but I think that if I were there, I’d advise him to not worry right now about Takuto getting the choreo perfect. It’s going to take a lot of work before that happens, and it’s not going to be today. They should be going for the big picture, and making sure that everyone has a chance to get the basics of their routine down so that it becomes possible for people to do individual practice later. It’s like putting together the frame of the jigsaw puzzle first, and then putting together the pieces in the middle. The frame helps you get started and know where to put the other pieces.

Ok that was probably more than you cared to read but anyway. That’s how I feel. This is dumb and irritating.

They’ve elected Dongyeol, who is a member of the group Up10tion, their leader, and that makes sense. 

The team is sitting around listening to the song, and Mingyu is saying it’s nostalgic for him, and WAIT is that a hickey on TaeRae’s neck?

I mean it’s not. Is it? It’s not. It can’t be. But also, whoever makes out with TaeRae, please be gentle to his neck, ok? That’s where he keeps his singing parts. He needs those. For singing. 

Anyway, the team is talking about how much they like the song. Mingyu and Dongyeol, age 23 and 24 respectively, remember and like the song, while Tae Rae didn’t know it before but liked it when he heard it prior to song selection. Tae Rae thinks it suits his voice well, and Mingyu agrees, interviewing that he’s grateful that Tae Rae joined the team. I'm grateful that Tae Rae joined life!

They each try the killing part, and Dongyeol sings a bit, and his voice is actually much better than I thought it was, though he cracks a bit. When he’s done, no one reacts, so he applauds a tiny bit for himself until everyone else joins in. Aww. Then TaeRae sings and it’s so nice. It’s just… yeah. Listen, I know that titanium voice kid, Yoo Seung Eon, has a better voice, but I like TaeRae’s better. It’s like how Chen from EXO has a better voice than D.O., but I’d rather listen to D.O. 

Meanwhile, Choi Woojin is having trouble even finding the note to sing. I’m kind of surprised he chose vocals, but maybe he was scared to write a rap? In that case, what is he good at? I watched his Hot Sauce and Nunu Nana performances, and he was basically a backup dancer in both -- he doesn’t seem to be a vocalist in any way, either as a singer or a rapper. What a bummer that we lost Hong Keon Hee and Kim Min Seong, because both of those were in the Nunu Nana group with him and both did a much better job in their various performances. 

Red house Mingyu sings really really loud, apparently, and Woojin sings very quietly, so this will be tough.

Trainees writing raps about how they’re trainees who want to debut? 

Krystian is on his Very Best Behavior, and calls Jihoo, “Park Jihoo-shi,” which is kind of ridiculous given that Jihoo is seven years younger than him. He would still be polite in Korean standards to call him “Jihoo-ah” or something like that, and I bet he knows that. 

Krystian calls him “mature” (in English), and since he can’t find the right word in Korean, explains it as, “you know what you’re doing.” And Jihoo agrees: “Genius, genius,” he says in English, of himself. Jihoo is a hoot. 

(Incidentally, Jihoo says he’s 18, because he uses the Korean age system, which says you’re a year old at birth, and that also calculates your age based on the year it is, whether or not your birthday has happened yet. So he’s really 16, and will be turning 17 in July, by international standards.)

Oh boy. This team. MNET gives them exactly one minute of screen time and most of that is just mocking their past performances. 

I think Bak Doha is a decent guy who just needed better advice from his agency and more realistic goals in life, and I hope he makes it as an actor. Jung I-chan has been at this a long time and must have some talent or he wouldn’t keep making it halfway on shows like this, but he’s yet to really prove himself at a key moment. And you guys know how I feel about Lee Daeul -- I don’t like being unkind so I literally cannot say anything about him, whether it be about his personality, past behavior, or observable skill set. It would be such a redemption moment if any of these three could do something great in their performance, but I’m not exactly holding my breath. I’ll say though that I-chan has the best attitude he can have, considering.

This team is a little TOO stacked. Three of them are top 9, and General Gunwook is in 10th place. They have three excellent leaders on the team -- Hui, Zhang Hao, and Gunwook would all make excellent leaders. And they have three excellent candidates for a center/killing part roll - basically, anyone but Hui would do a fantastic job at it. (Not that Hui can’t, but the others are that bit better.)

Gunwook says, “You can’t have a better team than this. As if I were Liu Bei, who gained Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, my shoulders kept rising.”

Ok, a few things about this. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen Koreans talk about “shoulders rising” as if that indicates pride or confidence -- maybe it’s a bit like “holding your head up high” in English idiom. Makes intuitive sense, too.  

Next, it’s as if General Gunwook knows that I call him General Gunwook, because he’s making a reference to Liu Bei. Lui Bei was a Chinese warlord (born in the year 166) who founded Shu Han, one of the Three Kingdoms of China. Liu Bei gathered a team together during the Yellow Turban Revolution of 184, which I’m sure you already know all about, and gathered a group of loyal followers, including Guan Yu and  Zhang Fei. So Gunwook is positing himself as a Warlord Emperor, and his teammates as his loyal generals. Love it.

The show seems to be implying that Gunwook is a little too solicitous of his team, fetching the lyric sheet and getting pens for them and stuff, but that’s what you do when you’re a polite younger person in Korean culture, and Gunwook is a polite guy. Of course he’ll get a pen for someone who is 11 years older than him! 

Zhang Hao says that Gunwook was scary in Kill This Love, but now he’s a cute and sweet dongsaeng (younger sibling/friend). He seems genuinely surprised, but I’m not at all. Gunwook expands to fill the space -- if no leader is present, he’ll lead, and if one is present, he’ll follow. He’s a General, but he recognizes Hui as a Major General, and will follow commands.  He’s also smart and wouldn’t want to look like a rude kid on TV! 

Zhang Hao really wants the killing part, and so do Sung Hanbin and Hui. I think Zhang Hao is by far the best, and General Gunwook agrees with me, but the win goes to Sung Hanbin. That’s kind of a bummer but given how popular he is I guess it’ll work out well for the team. Zhang Hao is a class act -- he’s bummed, but he knows that Hanbin is also really good. So he sets himself the challenge of being able to rap quickly in Korean, reasoning that if Yuqi from G-Idle can do it, so can he! Hanbin is helping him and he’s improving already. Zhang Hao, fighting! 

Side note: Kind of funny that they’re not acknowledging that Hui is from the same agency (Cube) that G-Idle is from. Hui probably knows Soyeon and Yuqi and the girls, at least in passing. I kind of wonder whether Hui and Soyeon get along? They’re both music producers who lead their teams and take responsibility for their members, so they have all that in common. On the other hand, sometimes people don’t like each other if they’re too much alike. Man, imagine if Soyeon and Hui teamed up, Triple-H style? Or even better, just a Pentagon/G-Idle crossover group, NCT style, where they just use whichever members from either group that would work in a particular song? Sigh. A girl can dream.

Oh, these are hard ones. There are a lot of people I can think of that fits these. I'll start with a few people who fit these and then make other posts with the other people who fit these.

💻 ― excellent writing

@s-talking is not only an excellent writer, but also a talented artist and created one of the best OCs that I know of. I will be including Envy for being a well-developed OC and I always admired the years of work they put into their muses, which includes Envy.

. Their writing is incredibly intricate and illustrates Envy's perspectives and show how dangerous he is. The Mun's writing captivates readers, drawing them into a story of the darkness of an Eldritch entity driving Envy to delve deeper into madness. I always look forward to seeing more of that. I love his interactions with Harmony and she loves him dearly despite the grim secrets he carries.

Most important of all, the Mun is very kind and a cherished friend. The drabbles and threads we have, the art like the gifts and commissions, and the messages exchanged brighten my day. I often look back at them when things get rough and I find comfort in the pieces. Envy-Mun helped me be a better writer and also a better person with their support and advice. My friend has done a lot for me over the years and I always strive to do the same. They deserve happiness and good things to happen!

There are a lot, and I mean a lot of OCs that are masterpieces in their own way. They deserve all the love and I am willing to make separate posts for these OCs I have in mind because they deserve the spotlight.

@whispers-in-daydreams has a variety of OCs that have their own stories and Scarlett-mun has put so much love into each of them. Scarlett is my favorite of her OCs because I love her style and she's a baker has has no f***s to give. Harmony certainly admires Scarlett for her beauty and talents. I also love the kinds of trouble that these two get into!

@handcavity made an truly unique OC of a doll that carries the soul of a girl who was betrayed by the cult she was raised in. The OC called Her is a kind spirit who longs for company, but bears a curse that brings others who are close to Her dire consequences. This is different from what we see with haunted dolls because Her is not malevolent or see joy in harming others. She is also alluring but also unnerving. However, Her is not sinister. In fact, she is a tortured soul bound to the doll with a powerful demon.

😍 ― admiring from afar

@spectralhunter is someone I always admired from afar. He does amazing work in his writing and with his muses, both OC and canon. Takumi is a well-developed OC who is a paranormal investigator looking for ways to gain fame on his livestreams and channel. I consider the mun as a friend and I am thankful to have him and Envy-mun as my friends and rp partners. These two are a dynamic duo and seeing their is always a treat!

I followed the Mun for years and led me to also meeting other horror roleplayers who became my friends and great rp partners. I'm grateful for his friendship and the threads and drabbles we write.

@b-erserk makes a great Guts! I started to get into a bit of Berserk and made an AU that would work better for that world. I can't wait to write more with Guts in the future!

After running in with Sukuna and Kinie, Kisho a.k.a Daichi has got away from the two while taking a quick breather in a hidden area in the school. He still can sense their cursed energy lingering out there but he sighs. Eito chirps worried to have him look.

"I know, I know I'm alright. Just freaking scared shitless right now. I have to do something or else I'm screwed!! Maybe if I can just find Gojo sensei, he might know what to do!" he said but looks. "Though, it's that or he'll rat me out." He mutters with a sweatdrop but hearing it was quiet, Kisho gets out of his hiding spot and runs down the hallway to the lower level of the school but he was running near the nurse's office where as he makes a turn out of that area, Kinie and Sukuna was just showing up.

"Damn it! where the fuck did he go!? I could have sworn his cursed energy was right here!" Sukuna looks around but Kinie was smelling the air to seeing her shadow monsters smelling too.

"He was here but he got away. Damn it! He's such a chicken but when I get my hands on him I'll.." she still was mad that Eito leaves a bruise on her forehead from being pecked. Sukuna sighed but looks to her.

"Don't worry, we will find that little shit. He couldn't have gone far. Megumi is looking on the other side so we will find him!" he said while the two rush down the hall still looking around.

'Kinie please!! You have to stop this!! I'm sure Kisho didn't mean to-'

"Oh sure he didn't but even so, he's dead meat!!" she said to Taz looking worried.

'She's right you know! Come on you two give us control of our bodies!!' Yuji shouts out but Sukuna ignores.

"As I said, we won't kill him; but he's still getting the beat down of his life!" he said as the two keeps looking around.

Though, it did leave the question of where Gojo was? Well......

~~With Gojo~~

He was sitting on a chair while tilting his head seeing he was in a video call with Taz's friends! the fraction leaders were in a meeting with Gojo right now though they were talking at the same time that Gojo was sighing trying to calm them all down.

"Easy now, one at a time! One at a time!" he said trying to calm them down. They all did calm down but he sighs.

"Okay, so what is going on again?" he asked.

"We found more of those weird charms that was sent from there to here! So now we are asking-" Jinx started but heard Echo shouting in the back.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS DAICHI!! THIS IS HIS FAULT FOR SENDING THEM BECAUSE THEIRS BEEN MORE CURSED SPIRITS AND MONSTERS ALL OVER NEW YORK!"

"Echo, will you please chill!" Gojo heard Breezy's voice in the background with he saw the other leaders shouting but Gojo calms them down.

"One at a time please!!" he sweatdrops but they calm down. "Listen, I wasn't expecting him to even sell that many charms to where you all were. But..have the sightings gotten worse?" he asked.

"By worse you mean seeing more of them that is becoming a pain in the ass? Then YES!" Matt's voice shouted out crossing his arms.

"Though, we taken care of them when sighted but more just keeps popping up! i mean, what the fuck!? Is everyone all over the world buying these damn charms like clockworks or something!?" Kali shouted.

"Easy Kali...." Rex said trying to calm her down while he was looking ahead. "But she's right. We been trying to stop the spirits and did, but more keeps being seen all over."

"It's becoming a little problem now and we are seeing more and more that will become a problem later on.." Guam said with Fin agreeing. "Not to forget we are all tired out from slaying more and more every day of the week. Heck, my boys are exhausted now!" he shows his team who was laying on the ground tired.

"...Huh. Well, I know Daichi has stopped the sales so no one else should be able to get the charms. That oorrrrrr..the last shipments went out before he stopped for a hiatus." Gojo said rubbing the back of his head that Joshua looks.

"Wait, last shipments?" Ink asked confused with a tilt of her head.

"Yes. I remember from what the site said, their was a few more shipments being sent out so I believe those last few were already delivered." He explains to the leaders.

"So even if he stopped it, the remaining ones still remained being delivered." Willow sighed with arms crossed worried with Ethan shaking his head.

"Well, as long as he stopp...stopped the s..shipments i..it's fine right?" Ashley asked Gojo but he nods.

"Yes but I believe his sales stopped after checking the site.." Gojo said pulling it up on screen. "From the last time, it was 2.5 billion sold so it still should be-" As he pulls it up he stops to the leaders looking.

"What?" he heard them asked to sigh. "Well, make that 4.5 billion. Seems the sales still went up." Gojo said that the leaders blinks before letting that sink in for a moment.

3...2....1...

Some team members fell out of their chairs to fall on the ground twitching in shock. Others spat their drinks out coughing. As for the leaders......

"WHAT!?!"

"That's impossible!!"

"Wow; that's a big number! That's a lot of charms sold!" Ink said laughing. "That's really explains the curses all over here!" she smiled.

"THAT'S NOT A GOOD THINK INK! THAT EXPLAINS WHY THEIRS SO MANY OF THEM!" Kali shouted.

"But that means we can get more stronger now and keeping our areas safe!" she smiled that Kali facepalms.

"Your an idiot sometimes.." she grumbles.

"Now now, I'm sure it can't be that bad-"

Suddenly, the door slides open before being closed to hear someone panting as Gojo looks seeing Daichi looking scared. "Uhhhh Daichi-"

"Gojo Sensei! You gotta hide me! Megumi, Sukuna, and Kinie Ger is hunting me down! You have to help me!" he said moving away from the door but Gojo blinks to look at him.

"Uhh, wait, they are? Wow, seems Megumi found out already. They can't be that mad can they?" he asked but before answering he heard a loud explosion.

"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU, YOU LITTLE SHIT!?" Sukuna's voice shouted.

"WE WILL FIND YOU AND YOUR SO GONNA REGRET MAKING A FOOL OUT OF ME!" Kinie Ger shouted next.

"GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE DAICHI! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!?" And Megumi's voice.

"......."

"Or not.." Gojo said.

"See?! Please, you have to hide me before-"

"YOU!"

He winces to look seeing the fraction leaders who was either annoyed or angry. "Uh oh...uhhhhh...H..Hi?" he said waving.

"DON'T YOU SAY HI YOU IDIOT! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT MESS YOU LEFT FOR US ALL!? DO YOU EVEN KNOW YOU SOLD 4.5 BILLION CHARMS ALL OVER THE WORLD!?" Rex shouted as the leaders looks at a very scared Kisho to see the anger in their eyes.

"You left a big mess because we got damn curses lingering all through our territories!?" Kali said.

"I KNOW, I KNOW! I'M SO SORRY! I DIDN'T KNOW THE OTHER LAST SHIPMENTS WOULD STILL GO THROUGH! PLEASE, I'LL FIND A WAY TO FIX THIS!!!!!" He said quickly sweatdropping scared.

"YOU BETTER FIX THIS OR ELSE YOUR FUCKING DEAD!" Kali hissed.

"AGAIN, I'M SO SORRY! T-T" he cries to them. However, that's when the leaders heard something loud. The teammates goes to check it out but that's when the came rushing back panicking.

"What?! What's wrong now?" Kali said looking for a moment but heard a shout. "WHAT THE FUCK!? WHAT IS THAT-" that's when her video screen went to static.

"KALI!!" Rex said before he heard something smashing in the background of his own area before his screen went out.

"WHAT IS HAPP-" Matt's own went to static.

"T..their's cursed monsters outside! T..they are attacking-" Ashley's screen went to static next.

"Ash!! What is going on-" Joshua's own screen went out next.

"........Oh crap! Guys, move!! Everyone mo-" Guam's screen went out.

"You better fix this, dude! These curses are getting wo-" Fin's screen went out.

"Oh crap-WHAT THE FUC-" Jinx's screen was out after a screech was heard with her teams screaming to fight.

"Guys?! Guys, what is going-" Yuu's screen was out next.

"Something is going on! The curses are-" Willow's screen went out.

"Fix this now, Daichi or so help me-" Ethan's screen was next going out.

"Holy crap! It's gotten bigger than last time!" Ink shouted hearing the loud noise and Navarro's shouting. "INK WILL YOU PLEASE FOCUS AND-" and her screen goes out leaving Gojo and Daichi with static screens.

"o......o;"

"....You do know if they come back, they will be more angry with you right?" Gojo said to him but he sweatdrops.

"Y..Yeah.....I'm so fucked. Even worse now that Shdwkyz and Vivi knows......they will seriously gut me thanks to this." he said before he saw the door get smashed down to Daichi jumping. However, he saw Megumi grab the back of his uniform.

"FOUND YOU!" It was Megumi.

"AHHHHH!! NOOOOOOO!!" he turns to struggle and gets free to run away with Megumi chasing him.

"GET BACK HERE DAICHI!"

"I'M SORRY!! I'M SO SO SORRY PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! I'LL FIND A WAY TO FIX ALL THIS PLEASE!!!" he screams crying.

"YEAH YOU CAN FIX IT WHEN I GET MY FUCKING HANDS ON YOU!!" he shouted with Daichi screaming in horror running away from him down the hallway while Gojo remains there so sigh.

"This has been one crazy afternoon. I wonder if they have the jelly today." He thinks however, he saw Sukuna and Kinie run in but goes past knowing Megumi found him as he sighs. After a bit, Megumi had Daichi trapped who was twitching crying.

"Megumi please!! Please have mercy! Look! I stopped my site and I won't sell another charm till I know how to do it right! Please, just spare me!" he cries begging him even when Eito was chirpping but Megumi saw Sukuna and Kinie ger show up.

"..Sorry Daichi, you have to learn the hard way and that's with being punished." He said that he was crying looking at Kinie and Sukuna grinning evil like.

"Ohhhh this is going to be fun." He said cracking his knuckles.

"Be sure you leave some for me, my king." Kinie chuckled.

Daichi was shaking as he backed up to make sure Eito was not near. "WAIT!! WAIT PLEASE NO! NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOO!!" His scream was loud to echo through the grounds as birds flew off in the distance.

~~Hours later~~

Yuji and Taz finally got control again but they were saying sorry to Daichi who was looking a mess after getting the beat down of his life. He was laying on the school bed crying from being wrapped up in bandages and having sores on his face from the hits.

"We are so so so sorry Daichi!" Yuji said worried.

"Y..Yeah, we are so sorry!" Taz cries worried.

"Geez, Megumi. Did you have to really go that bad on him?" Nobara looks to him but he was finally calm.

"Oh come on, it was not that bad. Besides, he learned didn't he?" he argues back while Daichi was twitching crying in pain.

"..Pain...Pain hurts s..so much.." He said crying.

"*Sighs* Besides, he knows now to never make charms till he's learned. Right Daichi?" Megumi said seeing him tense.

"Y..Yes! I won't make an..any charms till I know how!" he said scared.

"See? Problem solved." Megumi said but Nobara sweatdrops to shake her head. Gojo was visiting him too to sigh.

"Well, everything is fine now so no worries." He said but remembers. "Though, I wonder if your friends back home took care of that little problem with the curses.." He said that Taz heard.

"Huh?!? What do you mean, Gojo sensei?!" Taz said worried.

"Well....lets just say they gave me a call but I'm sure they are fine Taz.." he said but Taz sweatdrops worried. Oh boy.

~~Back home in New York~~

The fraction leaders Ink, Jinx, Joshua, Ashley, Guam, Fin, Kali, Rex, and Yuuka along with their teams were really tired and drained from the mess they took care of. They were all messed up and covered in dirt and cursed monsters blood while sitting on the ground catching their breath. Even got some help from Ethan, Willow, and Matt who was tired too.

It just brings up way too many bad memories for him, and he doesn't want to be constantly reminded that his mind and body no longer function like a "normal" teen's does. (A/N: I the mun am not trying to imply that deaf individuals are "broken" or "abnormal" for being deaf!! I only used that last sentence as a reflection of how Carlos feels about his gained disability and the everlasting harm his abuse caused to his body.)

The only sport Carlos cares about is wrestling. While Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero were his favorite wrestlers, he did also love The Rock and Stone-Cold Steve Austin for how much they busted Vince's balls. He also really loves The Undertaker.

One thing that will instantly piss Carlos off is if someone is purposely covering/stopping his hands when he's trying to sign to them as a way to get him to verbally talk. Covering up a signing person's hands is the equivalent of someone coming up to you and putting their hand over your mouth to get you to stop talking. Not only is it rude as fuck to do, but sometimes Carlos doesn't have the energy to talk verbally, or his hearing aids aren't in his ears (he's canonically mute when he takes his aid out for reference) so signing is the only way he knows how to communicate.

Carlos definitely has felt the presence of spirits before. Not to the point where he can physically see or touch them, but he can feel when the energy of a space shifts after a spirit enters or leaves.

I cannot for the life of me find this piece of art anymore, and ngl I'm kind of sad about that 😭.

Carlos's hobby is doing volunteer work whenever and wherever he can. I feel like this would be the only way he's let out of the shelter for long periods of time (bc let's be real here the shelter acts more like a prison/halfway house than a traditional youth shelter). He just has to have some form of documentation proving that he was only outside of the shelter walls doing volunteer work and nothing else.

Dating So Mun would include:

You got a carrier rack for your bike to explore Jungjin with him.

Imagine his excited face when you told him, he was thankful that you thought of him.

Going on lil bike adventures to see the sunset and the pink clouds in the sky.

Your hearts racing while biking downhill.

Consists of a lot of screaming.

“Why are we going so fast?!”

“That’s how we die?!”

Eventually you stopped getting scared, he could trust you after all.

Mostly indoor dates though:

Watching a movie in the living room, his grandma often joining you and his grandpa trying to drag her away to let you have some alone time.

The sight of him being able to walk without limping brought you to tears.

Ms Chu would have smacked him but she was too focused on you.

So Mun is always by your side when serving, in case someone tries to hit on you.

“I hired Y/N to have extra help, not you being distracted!”

His eyes never leave you so he dumps into tables, customers and Hana a lot.

You manage the restaurant alone when they leave for a mission. Jangmul joining you on rare occasions.

So Mun secretely wishes for you to become a counter too, he wanted to go on missions with you. But on second thought, he doesn’t want you to get hurt so things are fine just how they are.

Gives you his red jacket, thinks you look adorable in it.

Sleepovers happen a lot since you started working on the restaurant.

Falling asleep in his arms while he goes on about the last evil spirit he captured.

He usually sleeps after you do but there are days when he is very exhausted so you play with his slightly curly hair, careful enough to not hurt him until he falls asleep.

He doesn’t get jealous easily, you remind him that you love him every day anyway.

But he found himself irritated at Hyeoku for asking your name.

“So Mun, he just asked my name!”

“Next time he will ask for your number!”

Kisses and hugs you when Hyeoku is around.

Dance performances in his room, with his grandpa telling you to leave the door open and Mun closing it a few secs afterwards.

Randomly voices his desire to have kids with you in the future.

The Dig 

Part Two (Because I was bullied into this . . .)

In a little rented room above auld Geordie’s pub, Claire Beauchamp stood in nothing but her silk undergarments as she flipped open her weathered suitcase (once belonging to her dear uncle Lamb) she had heaved atop her bed. She rummaged through the contents, blowing at her curls clouding around her face, before pulling out a single dress of pale blue.

It wasn't something she usually packed whenever she went off on a dig but the dress had caught her eye in a department store window in London just before coming to Suffolk. She reasoned one never knew when the occasion might call for her to dress in something other than dirt stained trousers.

And never had she been more relieved by an impulse buy.

Or thankful for a rainy day that halted her excavation.

It was a chance to be with the Scot who thought her more precious than the iron rivets they discovered a few days ago, proof that the burial site they were knee deep in was a ship to honor a fallen king. She would've kissed him on the spot if it weren't for Foster and Pound.

The kiss however did come later.

After her and the lads celebrated with too many pints, she and Fraser went back to Sutton Hoo, slightly swaying with every step beneath the twilight, until their arms found their way around one another. Soon they were laying side by side in the grass and dirt, the air cool on their whiskey flushed cheeks, and she wrapped in his coat. Big and warm and enveloping like himself.

"We may very well be unearthing a legend here ," said Beauchamp, leaning back on her elbows, eyes closed facing the moon.

Fraser grinned.

" Beowulf ?"

She laughed and turned her gaze to him. "Arthur, King of the Britons !"

He laughed along with her, a deep and hearty sound, then joking all aside said  -

"Anglo Saxon, ye think?"

She nodded and rolled to her side, nearly pressing herself against Fraser's chest, heaving from a sharp intake of breath.

"I told you before that something grand and marvelous was buried here . . ."

"Ye did."

Then shyly Fraser said -

"Bha mi a ’bruadar mun bhròn mhòr. . . Remember that bit from my notebook?"

Her eyes softened and her features took on a pretty shade of pink remembering a great deal more of what that book contained.

How each page held a piece of his heart.

And laid a hand over his chest, against that fervent beat.

"Of course I do," she answered back, but frowned a little when Fraser bashfully kept his gaze to the small gap between them where a dandelion bloomed.

"Weel, I wrote it that night after we first met, from a dream I had. Sounds a great deal better in the gaelic though. . ."

Beauchamp raised her hand to cup his cheek, thumbing the fine cut bones beneath his skin, before pressing her soft warm mouth against his lips.

"Tell me," she insisted, when they managed to part and nudged her nose against his.

And so he did, voice low and more than a little breathless.

I dreamt about the mourning.

The deaths of great men. Terrible men. Old and young. Of Kings lost in battle buried beneath us.

They cried out to me and the Earth came to life and twisted her roots around me, dragging me inside her womb. Dark and cold, breathless like a cave.

But I wasn't frightened. I saw lights rushing around me, bright as the twilight sky. The souls that lie ahead. Surrounding us.

They brought me to you.

He shrugged sheepishly then.

Just before she kissed him again. Knowing she'd never want anyone more than she did right then and there amongst the swaying trees and spirits of auld.

This man whose soul spoke to her own.

Too bad a crack of lightning had to ruin the night.

But at least the rain blessed them with a day to themselves in apology.

Taking one last glance in the vanity mirror (that was about as big as her compact) and another quick check that her nails were clean of dirt, Beauchamp left her room and walked down the hallway to Fraser's, knocking softly against his door. When no one answered she pressed her ear curiously to the door hearing voices and knocked again, just a bit more louder, tapping the toe of her slingback  heels against the beaten wooden floor. With still no response (and patience never being a virtue she ever possessed) she flat out turned the knob finding it unlocked.

She poked her head in and found a room even smaller than her own and the source of the voices coming from a small red radio playing an adaption of a film from the windowsill.

- I might have known you were here. I had a feeling just as I hit the floor.

- That was your hat.

- Oh, Susan! Just look at it! Look!

Fraser himself was fast asleep and spread out atop the bed sheets dressed for a date to the cinema with his long arms crossed above his head and his big feet dangling off the edge of his too small bed.

Beauchamp stood watching him for a moment, filled with a sudden tenderness at his sleeping innocence . . . and a bone deep wickedness that gave her an idea. She closed the door quietly behind herself and flipped the lock, grinning as she did so. She then slipped out of her slingback heels and crossed the room in two short strides (the floorboards creaking with the pitch of a mouse beneath her), to carefully lay down beside him.

Fraser turned to her in sleep, a throaty murmur on his lips, and laid a heavy arm around her slim waist, gathering her heart to heart. She sighed happily and reached to caress a curl hanging low at his brow, admiring the color that reminded her of the scorching sunsets in Giza she basked in with her uncle so many years ago. Her fingers then threaded through his thick mane down to where they began to curl at his neck and was rewarded with an unexpected smile. Pure and sweet.

"You're too perfect for words, lad," she whispered against his wide mouth, but before she could seal their lips together his long blonde lashes fluttered open.

Fraser gazed at her sleepily, his smile only growing wider as the word Sorcha was adoringly breathed against her cheeks.

She wanted to ask him what that one meant. It might be her favorite bit of gaelic so far.

But then . . .

"Claire!" Fraser exclaimed, and nearly toppled them both out of the bed if not for Beauchamp clinging to his shoulders, steadying him above her.

"How di' ye - Why are ye -"

Beauchamp giggled loudly at his befuddled face and at his hair sticking up in all directions like a sunflower crown. She coasted her hands up the wide breadth of his shoulders to cup both his scarlet cheeks.

"You're door was unlocked, and you know how cold I easily get . . ." she playfully pouted, and tugged his face closer, enjoying how his skin felt like a glowing hot coal between her hands.

But Fraser pulled away.

"Claire. . ."

She sighed yet kept her amused grin.

"You're not a lad of sixteen, you know. You can have a girl in your room."

"I ken that," he answered back, with a defensive spike in his voice.

Beauchamp ignored his tone letting her hands wander to his chest, the muscles taut beneath his crisp white shirt straining to contain his racing heartbeat.

"We even spent a night under the stars together."

"That was altogether different."

Her eyes flashed with mischief as she toyed with the buttons of his shirt. "How so?"

"For one," Fraser breathed hoarsely, placing a hand over hers lest she get too carried away. "It wasn't all night, the thunder made sure of that, and we mostly were talking anyway."

"Mostly?"

"And two," he said firmly, ears pink. "There wasn't a bed either of us could fall out of."

"No, there wasn't," she agreed, deciding he'd had enough of her teasing (and only because she had never taken anyone seriously enough to go slow). "But you can still keep me warm, Fraser. Virtue intact. I promise."

He arched a ruddy brow, doubtful of the lass with cheeky hands and a red cheshire grin that could lure a man to break every sin. Yet he eased himself beside her anyway and in the only way that worked.

With their legs twined together, nearly flushed against one another.

And his big hand braced along her back, the fabric soft against his callused palm as he smoothed it up and down, feeling the gentle rise of her ribs as she breathed in absolute contentment.

“Better than sitting in the cinema don't you think?” said Beauchamp, as she nuzzled her face to the crook of his neck, warmed by his skin that smelled freshly clean. Yet she found herself missing the scent of a hard day's labor on him.

“Aye, much - wait!” Fraser shifted to his elbow. “We missed the film didn't we?"

Beauchamp, a little annoyed at being jostled, shook her head and tugged at his collar to settle her lad back down.

"No, there's still some time left. Cary Grant just lost his intercostal clavicle bone to a dog named George. . . Or was it a leopard named Baby?"

Fraser stared at her like she'd gone completely daft until he noticed the radio playing in the background and heard the inimitable voices of Grant alongside Katherine Hepburn.

- Now it isn't that I don't like you, Susan, because, after all, in moments of quiet, I'm strangely drawn toward you, but - well, there haven't been any quiet moments.

"Oh,” he chuckled lightly, dropping his head to the side. “I must've fallen asleep listening to Lux Theatre . What I meant was the actual cinema though.”

“I think Judy Garland is merrily singing down that yellow brick road as we speak. But don't be sorry," she said, with a kiss to the hard line of his jaw, before the words could fall from his mouth. "It would've been far too crowded anyway."

“But you got yourself all dressed up," he protested, as his eyes traveled down to where her dress had been rucked up tight over her breasts and waist (and where his hand involuntarily flexed over the winged flare of her hip) before hastily clearing his throat.

"Ye look lovely by the way, mo chridhe. More than lovely actually. . ."

That shy and tender smile of his was her undoing and made her feel light-headed and reckless.

"Either that clever mouth of yours keeps on with the compliments, Fraser, or . . ."

Her voice carried off as her knee glided up between his thighs and her arms clasped around his shoulders so that any thoughts Fraser had of being a gentleman were forgotten in a wanton blaze of heat.

Some time later, with Fraser's cheek pillowed against her breasts, breath hot and seeping through the thin blue fabric thoroughly wrinkled now, he groaned.

"I wish we weren't in a room above a pub that reeks of cigarettes and wee."

She hummed softly, her fingertips stroking the back of his head, twirling around his curls. Admiring their beauty.

"Where should we be then?"

Fraser lifted his gaze to hers, blue eyes glimmering with that undeniable emotion that should've scared her yet it only made her want to claim him forever.

"A woman like you. . ." He smiled. " In a tent somewhere outside the ruins of a temple or in a cave in the Himalayas."

Her chest bounced with sparkling laughter.

"How about when this is all over and our names are the talk of the town, you take me anywhere you please. Preferably with a bed we can both fit in."

It was a tantalizing thought yet Fraser couldn't help but think of Scotland. Of his home Lallybroch. With her hand in his passing through the centuries old stone archway as his lady of Broch Turach.

Someday, maybe. God willing.

"I can think of a place," he murmured, and tightened his hold around her lush frame and pressed a daring kiss of hope above her heart. Felt her shiver beneath his mouth.

- I've just discovered that was the best day I've ever had in my whole life!

- But I was there!

- That's what made it so good!

And together they drifted off listening to the rain and the silly, sappy music.

I can't give you anything but love, baby.

That's the only thing I've plenty of, baby.

Welcome to the world of kdrama whump part 4!

Oh wow how am I at part 4 already? But I keep finding new kdramas and I keep finding new whump in them so here I am! Let’s just get right to it shall we? If you want to see the other 3 parts you can find them here: part 1, part 2, part 3

Period Drama:

1. Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung ( 신입사관 구해령)

So first up on this list is a really cute period drama that is packed with so much of funny scenes and also really serious stuff. It’s set in the 19th century and it’s about a female historian Goo Hae Ryung and how she becomes a historian and we also learn about prince Lee Rim and he’s a writer in secret! and it’s got quite a bit of mystery too which I quite liked. and Cha Eun Woo is really great in this along with Shin Se Kyung.

2. The King Eternal Monarch ( 더 킹: 영원의 군주)

Ah, this one. I almost didn’t add it to the list because i wasn’t happy with the way it was written. but whump and cinematogaphy wise, this show is so good! (plus wdh + whump never disappoins). So it’s set in a parallel world to ours in the ‘Kingdom of Corea and it revolves around a plot to murder the royal family but the prince survives and goes on to be the king in current day Corea. but some how, with the use of Manpasikjeok which is like a supernatural flute, they can travel between worlds, (between the Kingdom of Corea and The Republic of South Korea). So the story focuses on the king and a mysterious person who saves him on the night the king dies. Pretty interesting concept, could have been executed better but oh well. It was pretty funny and intertaining for the most part.

Oh this show is so good too! It’s about a detective who is trying to solve a case and then catches the guy he was after but then somehow the guys spirit ends up possessing (but in a funny way, it’s not scary) the detectives body and so they need to work together to solve the case which starts to get complicated. There’s whump for both the characters and it’s pretty goood!

My Secret Terius is so fun! and so cute but also really dramatic. It starts off with the lead loosing her husband and a mysterious man who lives next door to her. He’s basically a NIS agent and he’s got a lot of back story which you will find out throughout the show. And then Go Ae-Rin (the lead lady) discovers that there was some conspiracy to her husbands death and they work together to solve the mystery all while fighting other bad guys too..

Also, the kids in this show are super cute. Here they are trying to help Kim Bon heal after he was rescued.

3. Flower of Evil ( 악의 꽃)

One of my top 3 kdramas from 2020 i think! So this one is about Baek Hee Song and he’s married to a detective and they have a cute little daughter! and Baek Hee Song is like the perfect guy but in reality he had a lot of secrets and he’s been living under someone else’s name and his wife doesn’t even know. So his past slowly comes to light all while his wife is figuring out a case that may or may not involve him. It was pretty intense but also really intersting and Lee Joon Gi whump never disappoints, just look at this gif XD 

Angst and Melodrama Family:

1. 18 Again ( 18 어게인)

So, if you’re in the mood for some heartfelt kdrama with lots of tears and lots of heartwarming moments, this is definitely the show for you. I don’t think I made it through any of the episodes without crying. So this is actually based of the American movie 17 again! It follows the same premise of our main guy (Hong Dae Young) getting turned into an 18 year old kid and him and his wife are on the verge of a divorce. But there’s so much more with how they struggle as young parents, to their relationships with everyone and their jobs. Everything about this was so good! (If you watch/watched this come yell about it with me. I can’t stop talking about it)

2.  It’s Okay to Not Be Okay ( 사이코지만 괜찮아)

I think this was one of the top kdramas for 2020 and rightly so because it’s so good! aside from some flaws it had a really great storyline and talks alot about mental health/traumas. So this is about a guy who is a psychiatric nurse and he has a brother who he takes care of. The story also focuses on a children’s book writer who has antisocial personality disorder and how they make it through life esp with all the trauma they’ve faced. It’s such a pretty show with a pretty decent storyline and of course some nice whump throughout. You should definitely check it out.

Supernatural:

1. Bring It On Ghost ( 싸우자 귀신아)

I didn’t think i was going to like this because it seemed kinda of scary and I don’t do well with horror. But this show was so good! It was a little scary but it was also really funny at the same time. It’s the story about a girl who dies and becomes a ghost so she’s wandering around. Then she meets an exorcist and becaomes friends with Bong Pal. They, together with the help of two uni friends go around fighting ghost and sending them away. It’s kinda like a kickass ghost fighting club with a little bit of mystery added it. So of course you can imagine that there will be whump :D

2. The Uncanny Counter ( 경이로운 소문)

I think this has been recommended a few times here but I had to include it officially in this list. So this is about a group of people called Counters who hunt down evil spirits and they all have some kind of abilities. Then this high school kid, So Mun, ends up becoming one of them through certain events that take place and he’s some how involved in one of the cases that the counters are involved in. This show has everything I love! Found family, best friend trios, action as well as humour. It just finished airing too! Good stuff.

titan

in the third quarter, the members start prepping for their october comeback after a more relaxed second quarter of the year.

this time, the comeback concept plays on their heartthrob images as they play the role of “stealers” who take hearts instead of material things. they’ll record the mini-album in july and august and august and september will be focused on the rest of comeback preparations, included performance rehearsal, fittings, and music video shooting.

they’ll also be rehearsing for a one-off concert in october that will be a part of the stealer’s promotions. they’ll only hold one date in seoul with admission by fanclub lottery (fanclub membership will be re-opened following crowned), so it isn’t on the scale of the tour they wrapped earlier this year.

titan will film a two-episode game show called “gathering of kings” [reference 1, reference 2] in july, which will be released in august. the members will split up into two teams of three, a black team and a white team, and play games against each other. the show is a play on their nickname of ‘the kings of kpop’ and serves to accompany crowned as well as engage fans before their next comeback. [note: muns may choose what team their muse is on and who plays what games in the reference against each other. white team wins at the end, as in the reference. since titan has an even number of members, everyone is on a team.]

while their team knows crowned isn’t going to make or break titan, they’re focused on making sure titan still has a good showing to defend their kings of k-pop nickname. it’s also a good publicity opportunity and titan will shoot cover pictorials for both star1′s and the star’s august issues in early july, where crowned will be a main interview topic they discuss with the magazines. in late august, after crowned has finished airing, they’ll shoot an inside pictorial for vogue korea’s october issue. 

lily

in the lead-up to their tenth anniversary, lily will shoot the cover for w korea’s august issue in early july. each member will be individually interviewed for the magazine and they’ll be questioned on topics surrounding their decade in lily, their time (so far) on crowned, and their individual activities over the years.

their comeback in august is mostly received well with the celebratory spirit of fans and appreciation from media and critics for trying something new in spite of their enduring status. most music shows require them to handsync their instruments, which does earn some criticism.

on their actual anniversary (august 3), the members will hold a surprise fan meeting for fans only announced the day before. they’ll perform a few of their hits there, but most of the focus will be on talking to each other and answering fans’ submitted questions.

after their comeback promotions wrap and crowned is over, september will mostly be a break as a reward for ten years of hard work (or as a mediaplay tactic for how well bc takes care of their idols). they may have individual schedules to attend to during this time and a few mandatory appearances here and there (tba), but they’ll have most of the month free to do as they each please.

cloud

cloud continues their world tour through july and august (locations and dates here) while filming for crowned.

in addition to their tour and crowned activities, the members will prepare for another comeback slated for release once both of those are over in september. the album will be recorded in july. most of the recording will be the group songs since they already recorded rough versions of the solo songs on the album previously, but they may have to come in to re-record some parts of their solo songs as well. august will be when they focus on performance rehearsals and comeback visuals, such as the photo jacket and the music video for the single.

their promotional activities as adidas ambassadors will continue into their next comeback with another adidas performance video.

the turn around on their japanese promotions will be fast as bc pushes harder in the market now that cloud is more solidified within korea. in august and september, cloud will record their next japanese mini-album to prepare for its release next quarter, which will be accompanied by another japan tour already. members should continually be attending japanese language lessons to remain prepared for this increased push.

candy

each member should have their solo cover video of a song by someone they consider a role model filmed by the end of july (examples here, here, and here).

candy remain a very popular name in the advertisement realm and are also newly-appointed ambassadors of eyewear brand glassme, which they’ll shoot an advertisement pictorial for in early july. samantha thavasa handbags has chosen to partner with them as well for their fall/winter camapign to reach a teen and young adult demographic. their photo shoot for that brand deal will take place in late july.

like several of their fellow competitors on crowned, candy will be making a comeback with a new mini-album in september after the show has finished airing in hopes of taking advantage of any new attention they earn. the album will be recorded in july and august will be the month of performance rehearsals, fittings, album visuals, and music video filming.

when the comeback releases in september, it once again doesn’t hit the hit-song level of popularity expected of every candy release. bc continues to test out responses to different concepts by scheduling candy for a special dance performance video with youtube channel 1thek, where they’ll take on much more badass and dark concepts than fans are used to. it will be released near the end of their promotion period for stereotype, but filmed in early september before the comeback’s release.

calypso

calypso’s newfound demand continues as they add the title of ambassadors of barrel, kobaco, and tea:treat to their resumes with shoot in july. goodal is added on in august. dimensions is making sure to capitalize on the demand for them by signing them on for as many brand deals as they can suitably negotiate.

july 9 is their twelfth anniversary and the members throw a mini-fanmeeting outside of show! music core that day to meet with fans.

calypso’s june comeback was warmly received, even if it wasn’t a repeat of the mass viral success of rollin’. after “chi mat ba ram” promotions end, they film an appearance for the final episode of sketchbook, where they perform both “rollin’” and “we ride” to an eager crowd.

thanks to calypso’s recent success, dimensions is giving them their first repackage in eight years with a re-release of their latest album. the repackage consists mainly of new arrangements using already-recorded vocals, but it does include one new track, “after we ride”, to be recorded in july and the music video filmed in early august. dimensions doesn’t put the same promotional effort into the repackage’s release in late august and it doesn’t see the success dimensions wanted, calling into question both calypso’s longevity beyond a viral fad and dimensions’ ability to extend the public’s attention on them. this sends their team back to the drawing board to sketch out how to make the most of their immediate future.

polaris

polaris is set to continue their map of the soul tour. they’ll finish out all of their currently announced tour dates by the end of august, but an encore will be announced later in the quarter that will have them rounding out the real end of the tour next quarter.

mid-july, their japanese album will be released a few weeks ahead of when they begin touring in japan. they’ll promote with performances on a few japanese shows, but they won’t go overseas and will instead film the performances (one, two, three, four, five) in studios in seoul while they are in town for crowned filming (between july 7 and july 13). they will also film cfs in units for samsung galaxy during this period (one, two, three).

to connect with fans, each member will be expected to do at least one vlive or instagram live this quarter before the release of their comeback on august 26. they may decide the date with management around their schedule, but the date must be planned in advance so management is available to provide a phone for streaming and to supervise the vlive.

when they make their comeback with “dynamite” in august, it becomes a major hit both in korea and abroad. they bag number one both in korea and on the billboard hot 100. in september, they film late night show performances for the tonight show [2] [3] [4] [5] and america’s got talent, as well as an npr tiny desk performance. they will also perform “dynamite” at the billboard music awards in las vegas on september 29.

quantum

quantum makes their comeback in july with the start of a new album series. the comeback is positively received by fans, though it is far from their biggest hit with the public. dimensions is most intent on fandom growth for the moment, though this does result in sacrificing some of their public appeal as they participate in crowned.

crowned is seen as a particularly ripe opportunity by quantum’s team since the group is so known for their performances. they earn recognition as one of the groups with the most consistently extravagant stages, growing their fandom regardless of the final results they face.

in early september, they film an appearance on immortal songs that gains them some new attention. they become one of a small group of idols to win the show. dimensions intends to show quantum’s true colors to potential new fans by filming a special performance video of their immortal songs cover, featuring a cameo by the original singer, to be released around halloween in the next quarter.

andromeda

dimensions see crowned as a big opportunity for andromeda to prove themselves. they may not have the fandom power of most of the other groups competing, but their team’s aim is for their name to be more recognizable by the end. since there are no rules explicitly against it, their team has decided to have them film a music video for their round two cover a few days before their performance, which will be released on august 8. it earns more attention than even their team had anticipated when other groups’ fans get upset about it and the cover earns andromeda their top charting release by a wide margin, as well as crowned’s top-charting release so far.

on august 6, andromeda’s kt collaboration with catalyst will be released (more details in second quarter schedules). andromeda will participate in a facebook live with catalyst on august 23 that will be broadcast from a rented-out studio space and headed by a host. the aim is for additional promotion for kt’s y-teen phone plan for teens. they’ll answer a number of questions asked by the host and fans about the collaboration and play a number of games aimed at promoting kt. they will also give their first live performance of “do better”, as well as be challenged to a 2x speed version performance. (note: this is a general reference, though muns don’t have to use the exact same questions or games/missions if they write about it).

on august 14, their third anniversary, the members will hold a forty-five minute livestream for fans. staff will prepare decorations and food for ‘happy andromeday’. they’ll talk with one another and answer questions pre-approved by staff. at the end, they’ll share that they’ll be making a comeback soon.

andromeda will record their new mini-album in july and prepare their performance in august. the music video for their comeback will be filmed in early september ahead of their september 21 comeback date. the comeback is a continuation of their comeback earlier in the year, but dimensions hopes a comeback not long after crowned will show the growth of their fandom through the show as well. before their comeback, they’ll do a photo shoot for star1. the will be interviewed about crowned and their comeback mini-album to accompany the shoot in the magazine.

selene

selene’s anniversary passes while they’re promoting, so they’ll hold a mini fan-meeting outside of music bank on july 1 to meet with fans who came to watch their pre-recording. 

once promotional activities for their comeback end, the members are told simply that their team is working on a big project as the next step in their careers, so they won’t be making another comeback until late first quarter next year. the second half of this year will be a good time to work on individual schedules, they’re told.

that doesn’t mean their group schedule is completely void for the rest of the year, though. other than ongoing schedules for crowned, on august 20 and 21, they’ll hold the busan dates of their curtain call concert (the seoul dates of which were already held earlier this year).

selene will also be in the studio to record two tracks [one and two] for a japanese single album release in the fourth quarter. visuals for the single album will be shot in early september as a group as well.

platinum

platinum’s tour ends with japan dates in july (more information on dates and locations here). once they return, their group schedules will be mostly limited to crowned for the rest of july and august. in august, they will work it into their schedule to do the photo shoots for their 2023 seasons greetings as a group.

once crowned ends in late august, platinum will head into the studio in september to record their next comeback. they’ll be recording their first full-length album in three years this time around. 

platinum are also in high demand for summer and fall festivals. on september 14, they’ll perform at jangan university’s festival. on september 17, they’ll perform at youth day festival in seoul. on september 22, they’ll perform at the yeoju international university musical festival.

equinox

equinox will do a series of performances to promote their new japanese release in early july. the stages will be filmed and ultimately included in the video released for the main track on the album. performances will be done in osaka on july 13, nagoya on july 15, and tokyo on july 17.

while in japan, they’ll also shoot for the winter lookbook of japanese clothing brand fuga.

before they leave for the japanese performances, they’ll film a series of promotional videos for their upcoming comeback and shoot the visuals for the album jacket itself. late in july, they’ll shoot the music video for their comeback title track “queendom”. further preparations for comeback include a photo shoot for bnt international’s september issue.

they make their comeback on august 15 and on the same day they’ll hold a fanmeeting that serves to both introduce the comeback and celebrate their anniversary from earlier in the month.

catalyst

in early july, catalyst will record in the studio and film the music video for a special release, “newton”, sponsored by lipton tea.

they’ll begin performance rehearsals for their next comeback before they leave, as well as shooting album visuals. when they get back from their bangkok concerts, they will film the music video for the title track.

on august 20, ultraviolet will perform at summer sonic tokyo, where they’ll perform several of their songs they’ve released (or will release on their japanese version of kill this love, recorded in august and set to be released in the fourth quarter) in japanese.

on september 17, the members will hold a fan sign meet and greet event in incheon at paradise city resort, which they are ambassadors for. the following day, they’ll hold a private fanmeeting for their fans in seoul. they’ll only perform a few of their songs, as most of the event will be the typical fanmeeting fare of games and questions, but each member will be given the chance to do either a solo cover stage or a duet cover stage with another member of their choosing for fans.
