Supergirl series final

Everyone got a happy ending and Densen got a big beautiful wedding that was just about them. A wedding that Thundergrace and Westallen were denied. It was so nice to see someone finally get that.

My thoughts as episodes aired:

Karivarry AU and compliments

Ok so I don't know if this qualifies as a present but I have this big Karivarry AU that I really love and will probably never write so I thought I'd share ! (Btw you totally got me hooked on this ship to the point where I can't imagine stuff in the Arrowverse without these 3 togethers x) 

Anyway here's my Au 

- basically it's a Band au 

- Kara is the lead singer of The Superfriends (with Alex at the bass, James at the guitar and back up singer, Clark at the battery, Lena at the clavier, Winn special effect/mixing (on stage) and back up singer and J'onn their manager) 

- Oliver is the lead singer and guitarist of The Arrows (Dig at the battery, Felicity at the clavier, Laurel at the bass, Thea as the second guitar and back up singer, Roy as their Roadie)

- Barry as the lead singer of Star (Cisco with a guitar and backup singer, Iris with a bass (cause I'm a weak lesbian what can I say, I love her), Ralph with the battery, Caitlin at the clavier, Wally as the second guitar and Harry as their Manager with Jessie that just hangs around)

- They're all pretty popular (not like playing in stadiums popular but like with a good fanbase and all rival) 

- So there's this big contest of the band and they end up against one another

- Tensions run high especially between Kara and Oliver with Barry trying to act as a buffer

- they end up having to do press during the contest and since they're the leads they have to do them with the others (like their the favorites soooo) 

- Ofc they end up together and finish the contest with a big concert with the three bands and end up being tied (whether by the public or the judges voting) so they declare themselves winners cause who said there couldn't be 3 winners 

- Also there's Theroy, Dansen, Sonwest, QuickWest and Winn/James cause I love those ships too (I also live Brainia but I couldn't figure out where to put them sooooo (to be fair I didn't find a place for Kelly either but she can just be a fan)) 

Now it's compliment time ! 

So you got me sooooo hooked on this ship and I thank you x) Like I thought of it before but never much and they work so well together ! Even though we were robed of a SuperArrow crossover and we really haven't seen them interacting all that much... (they could have made something awesome by just having Kara without her powers for a few days (like she used them too much) so she decides to take a few days of vacation to go see her friends on E-1. They have to face X villain and both heroes can shine, Oliver by not being next to someone with superpowers and Kara proving that she's more that her powers even in combat (because the aliens she goes against often have the same strength as her so she could probably fight with regular humans even without powers) + a training scene between these two would have been fantastic + Oliver realizing he can trust Kara and everything to have (even if it's platonic) the foundation a good partnership !) And I got off track x)

Festive Definitely-Not-a-Crossover Holiday Parties with the Justice League and Their Friends

So, it’s a year after the Crisis, things are being dealt with. But the individual teams are still pretty separate from one another, and some people realize that, hey, there are still people from other teams that they haven’t met, and they ought to do something about it.

Maybe it’s Cisco, wanting to get out of Star Labs and reconnect with that guy who had the same favorite Kryptonian as he did.

Maybe it’s Luke, who wants to leave Gotham for once and meet some of Kate’s new friends.

Maybe it’s Nia, who actually wants to talk to the cool people she met at the end of the Crisis.

Maybe it’s someone else entirely, or all of them, but eventually word gets to Barry, Kara, and Kate that even though there are no world-threatening disasters around the holidays that year, everyone still wants to hang out.

So, what are three superheroes with lots of friends and thus not a lot of options for where to put them to do?

(spoilers: they put them in the Hall of Justice. They clear it out, pretty easy especially for Barry and Kara, but they take their time for the others who help them too)

(because what’s the point of having such a big room if you don’t set something up like that, school auditorium/lunchroom style.)

They don’t try with assigned seating because that’s the whole point, people are supposed to make new friends and find their own tables, go to different ones depending on what’s happening.

So things kind of start happening on their own.

Naturally, the Dads (Joe, Jefferson, J’onn, Diggle, etc.) sit together.

Joe and Jeff start joking about how they’re the oldest there, but little do they know, J’onn has them beat.

Speaking of, Diggle has his ring at this point, and J’onn is probably concerned that it’s Kryptonite when he shows up, but Dig changes into the Green Lantern suit and it’s all fine.

Everyone has so many questions.

Meanwhile Lyla is very proud of her husband and just glad that, even though people are a little uneasy around her, it’s nowhere near as bad as she expected based on what she did last year.

(the Moms table is Moira, Lynn, Martha, Cecile, Eliza, and Alura, along with probably Lyla. It is significantly more quiet, but similarly warm and wholesome)

You know the sisters (Danvers, Kane, Pierce, Lance) have a table too, and Mary (assuming she finds out Kate is Batwoman in this coming year) has this whole thing covered on the social media front. She’s also just in general happy to be there, and surprisingly ends up getting along quite well with Alex, as well as both Anissa and Jen.

This may be to cover up the tension between Sara and the superhero formerly known as Earth-2 Laurel, who I don’t remember having talked with each other much, if at all.

But eventually they talk things out, and by the end of the night, Laurel has an invitation to come onto the Waverider whenever she wants to. Laurel is also in the “reformed villain” club with at least Mick, and they probably end up sharing a few drinks by themselves.

Meanwhile Kate and Kara are just happy that everything turned out so well, and they talk amongst themselves.

Oh! Mary and Zari, the new version, would get along very, very well, and Mary is surprised to find out that Zari looks up to her, instead of what she expected to be the other way around.

Sophie kind of has to be convinced to actually attend (“Are you sure I don’t need to do security?” “Trust me, Sophie, everyone will be safe. You can just have a good time.”), but when she does, people make her feel welcome, and she finds that she hits things off with Kelly and Ava pretty well, along with the Pierce family.

The “nerds” of each show (Cisco, Caitlin, possibly Felicity, Brainy, Luke, Nate, Ryan who ends up showing up because why not, Ray because of course he comes back, Winn because there’s nothing stopping him from returning for this, etc.) have a table, and of course get deep into conversation about lots of things.

Whichever Wells is in the show that season would be there too, except Cisco keeps making sure he isn’t.

Cisco also ends up talking to Nia, whose powers he finds fascinating, while Nia gets along well with Mary too.

Barry and Iris finding themselves sharing a table with Clark and Lois, which is really just a perfect combination of two very good and pure superhero + reporter couples.

Ralph and Sue end up at that table as well, even though I don’t think Sue will be a reporter.

Charlie probably ends up entertaining the kids with her shapeshifting, because nobody is going to let Mick read romance novels to them again. Nora Dahrk might team up with her, regardless of whether or not she’s still a fairy godmother.

Gary is allowed to be there, but only if he promises nobody will see either of his nipples.

Everyone exchanges numbers, no matter which table they sit at.

Also of course there’s a karaoke component. Because why wouldn’t there be karaoke? Who wins is more questionable.

Winn Schott Headcanons

I got really bored so I give you some random Winn headcanons

Winn loves hoodies and he can always be found wearing a specific one that's extra soft inside when he's sad.

The boy is one excellent baker and makes cookies for the super friends all the time and he used to make them for his classmates in school when he was younger.

He loves plants and worked as a florist once and he adores flower language. His whole apartment is decked out with flowers and succulents.

His apartment is a mess and looks more like a garage tbh but he still knows where everything is and his plants are all kept in areas where they get sunlight and nothing is around to hurt them. Also of course all his movies and video games are neatly organised.

He's got anxiety.

He's asexual.

He can knit!! For presents he likes to knit his friends clothes. Especially at Christmas when he knits them all scarves. Of course he knitted Kara a Supergirl scarf for her first Christmas as Supergirl.

The boy hands are always soft because he likes to use hand moisturizer and cream.

Winn loves memes and only communicates through them when texting.

The boy used to do musical theatre but he got bullied for it by people he knew so now he doesn't. He still of course will sing but only during karaoke and if he's home alone.

Alex is basically his big sister and vows to always look into anyone he dates from now on so he doesn't end up with someone abusive like in the past.

He's bisexual and got a lot of hate from it from some of his foster parents which is why they sent him to a new home.

He has a love/hate relationship with toys due to the memories of his father they bring

He had very few friends growing up due to them either A. Being homophobic, B. Considering him too much of a nerd or C. Saying he'd grow up to be just like his father. He did however have multiple friends online.

If you yell at him he will cry.

At this point he doesn't ever realise when it's Father's Day or Mother's Day.

The danvers are the closest he has to a family and even Eliza acts like his mother at times.

Lena and Winn hang out every week watching movies and talking about science and being the best science pals ever.

He constantly pranks the super friends and April fools day is when he teams up with Alex and they create the best pranks ever.

Alex is always there to comfort Winn and watches movies with him and cuddles with him to cheer him up when he's sad.

They both also have lunch dates every week.

He is one giant Disney nerd and once he got to go there with Kara and James and it was the best day of his life and he has so many mickey ears and souvenirs from it.

Winn can dance but when he's dancing with someone he likes a lot he gets so flustered and stumbles over his feet a lot and it's peak cuteness.

He's just the cutest boy around but that's already canon.

He and Cisco are 100% best friend who totally do not secretly make functioning lightsabers together in their free time and Caitlin has definitely not caught them once as they built them.

No battles, no fights, no Nazis. Just like, supes chilling.

Kara and Barry have a taco eating competition. Felicity helps Wally with a car engine design. Alex and Ava bond over dangerous weapons and Thursday morning knife practice gets ramped up six levels harder and Sara joins halfway through just for kicks.

Cisco and Winn have a tech party trying to improve the universe portal thing but they get sidetracked and accidentally make Kara a new suit and almost cure cancer by mistake—when Caitlin and Felicity drop by to see what’s taking so long they meet Lena and it is the OT3 of our dreams. They actually finish the cure for cancer (just like, part of cancer, no need to get too excited guys) and Felicity is low key hero worshipping Lena Luthor by the end and Lena frickin loves Felicity back and Caitlin too duh

Iris shares a byline with Kara and they help each other with this journalism thing and that—Iris likes Cat a lot but doesn’t love Snapper.

J’onn and joe have a heart to heart about parenting

Winn decides he likes Gary from the time bureau even if he is a little annoying he loves Winn’s gadgets

John Constantine immediately decides he’s in love with everyone on earth-38–and I do mean everyone—while he’s hunting down an artifact

James training with Oliver but unsure he totally likes him, Oliver’s so dark

Winn shows Cisco the wonder of their file on Superman and if you didn’t think Cisco was bi before boy he is now

Clark actually happens to meet Sara—Sara is unimpressed (when she meets him, she says to his face that Kara’s more impressive. and he’s a little stunned but then chuckles and says of course she is)

Lucy chillin with Cecile and Sara chattin about law and Sara chipping in just happy to remember this part of laurel

Quentin lance and joe west. Teaming up. Please.

Thea chillin with Alex, like, way more than she is supposed to, and every once in a while Oliver can’t find her and she pops back into their earth with a fresh wardrobe and grins cause she was hanging out with Lena (who has no idea why Thea doesn’t have cell reception 98% of the time but appreciates her spunk and efficiency)

I also think Felicity and Kara are really good friends and really protective of each other after crisis on earth x. Every time Kara was about to be cut open or whatever Felicity would be like “Kara.” Not Supergirl—she saw her as more than her super identity. I think that meant a lot to Kara no matter what was going on and she made a definite effort to get to know Felicity more after that

(Felicity being jealous of Kara’s ability to eat, jealous of her flight but not wanting to fly more than little floating around sometimes and Kara’s happy to oblige, Felicity bragging about when she saved Oliver with the atom suit and Kara fangirling out over Felicity and Felicity loves her so much because no ones ever appreciated her for that)

John Diggle. Standing next to J’onn. Let’s just. Take a moment. To picture them with their arms crossed and matching disapproving glares. Hmm.

(I leave out Black Lightning because while I love the other shows a lot Black Lightning is just a whole nother level and their moods don’t mix always)

I actually ended up splitting  this into two stories, so their introductions as romantic partners will come next!

Kara huffed as she waited for the detective in front of her to uncuff her hands. This, sadly wasn’t exactly an unusual experience. Ever since she had gotten home, Lieutenant Maggie Sawyer had it out for her. As an ex-girlfriend of Alex’s, Kara had sort of assumed it was a way for her to grieve. But it wasn’t that, not anymore. It had gotten insane. Whenever something happened near Kara, Maggie found a reason to bring her in, especially if she thought the Arrow was involved. Now, Maggie wasn’t wrong per say. Kara was the Arrow, but she didn’t have any proof. Kara had made sure of that.

Kara leaned back in the interview room chair, crossed her arms, and glared at the two way glass. “Is this just going to be another time you hold me for 48 hours and hope you get the evidence you need to put me in jail, Lieutenant Sawyer? Because if so I’d like to make some calls.”

They didn’t answer and they made Kara wait, she wasn’t sure how long (she hadn’t gotten a look at a clock as they pushed her through the station to count the time) but she was quickly getting restless. Being locked in a small room wasn’t exactly helping. As she paced the room, pulling her hair out of it’s ponytail and twisting it into a braid as she considered picking up one of the chair and throwing through the two-way mirror. That wouldn’t help her though. In fact, it would be a reason to really arrest her.

Then, the door opened and Kara shifted her stance, moving her arms and widening her eyes to make herself appear more innocent and open. She didn’t recognize the man that stepped inside. He was tall, dressed in a well fitted three piece suit, and clearly conveying openness with his body language.

“Hello Ms. Danvers-Grant. My name is Oliver Queen. I’m a psychologist who often works with the police.”

“You’re here to prove I’m crazy I take it?”

Queen shook his head and gestured to the chair. “I’m just here to listen.”

Kara gave him a flat look. “I know Lieutenant Sawyer is watching on the other side of the glass. I haven’t done anything wrong.”

“Then let’s prove her wrong.”

Kara glared at the glass as he sat down, but wiped her face back to the innocent face before sitting down. Queen asked her a lot of questions. About the island. About her family. About how she was re-accumulating. About her sleep cycles and her relationships. If she was making new friends. If she’d connected with old ones. How and if she relaxed. If she had nightmares. Kara gave away just enough to satisfy him, tearing up at the appropriate times, clenching her jaw and refusing to answer what she thought normal people would refuse to ask. Queen was kind, open, and understanding, not judging her or pushing too much.

He thanked her for her time and left the room as she wiped away fake tears. There. That should fool them.

“Well?” Maggie Sawyer asked as soon as Oliver closed the door.

Oliver raised an eyebrow at the Lieutenant. He was doing this as a favor to Lance and because he had a personal interest in the vigilante. But, he did not like Maggie Sawyer’s approach to finding out who the Arrow is. She’d gotten one thing in her mind and was harassing one person because she was ‘too different now.’ After five years of struggling to survive, torture, and being cut off from the world.

“Well, she’s a social chameleon with extreme PTSD that she is somehow functioning with and highly conditioned violent tendencies.”  

“So, it’s her?”

Oliver snarled. “So, you’re attacking a woman because of completely understandable survival techniques and PTSD and I will be reporting you to your Captain and telling Ms. Danvers-Grant to take of a restraining order on you.”

He starts to walk away but she grabs his arm. “She fits your profile.”

“And I’m sure she’s not the only one, but I fully believe that if Ms. Danvers-Grant was the Arrow, with all the harassment she’s been undergoing at your hands, she would have snapped and attacked you as your tried to arrest her by now. I did my job. I gave you a profile as a favor for my father. Now do yours, Lieutenant.”

Oliver doubled over, breathing heavily as he tried to look around. The device Felicity and Mac had thrown together to speed him up in a last ditch effort to stop Zoom felt heavy against his chest and he was pretty sure the grass under his feet was smoking. Well, it had worked, because he was pretty sure he wasn’t in Central and it had only been about five minutes.

He was in the middle of a park, one in a city most likely judging by the amount of people in it, looking at him.

“Is that the Flash?”

“What is he doing here?”

“I’m sure Super… will be here soon.”

Wait, which Super? Had he run all the way to Metropolis? What the fuck? There was no way he’d gone that fast. Was that even possible? Seriously, that seemed like the type of thing that should rip even his body apart.

“Hey, Flash!” A man came running up and held a bottle of water out. Oliver just stared at the man in confusion. “You look like you need this.”

Oliver just blinked at him.

“What they don’t take care of you in Star?”

Aside from occasionally pulling him out of the way when he was injured, the citizens stayed out of his way. He didn’t mind, it was a safety thing. If he slowed down long enough for them to interact with him, there was a high chance he was about to get attack. When he was just on patrol, he just moved to fast to interact with. There were the kids that left drawings outside the lab and Felicity always brought the drawings inside to tac on the walls, but that was the most interaction he really got.

Oliver slowly took the water. “...Thanks.”

People started to point up at the sky, parents lifting their kids so they could get a better look, and Oliver saw a red and blue shape. Superman? No, there wasn’t a cape. Superboy. Central City. Okay, that actually made some sense. Central wasn’t on the other side of the country at least, just 600 miles away. ...no, it wasn’t any better. It was still way to fast.

Superboy landed gently and with more grace than Oliver had ever come to a stop with in his life. He was... gorgeous, with wide, green eyes that sort of sparkled and nice looking light brown hair. His body was proportioned just right, thin and tall, but not lanky or awkward. He moved like he had complete control over every cell.

“Flash, welcome to Central City! Sorry it took me some time to get to you. I heard you coming, but I didn’t know you could move that fast.”

And then he smiled at Oliver; a bright, wide smile that reached his eyes and shined like the sun. Oliver felt his heart drop to his stomach and a warmth spread through his chest and arms. He found himself smiling back, the idea of doing anything else seemed wrong. He recognized this feeling. It was the exact feeling he’d had the first time he’d seen Kara take down a thug in five seconds and then turn all her attention to him to make sure he was alright.

Barry was probably more excited about this than he should be. He was a grown adult. He really should be this excited about being invited for a training exercise in Star City, but he didn’t really have superhero friends of his own. Diana and Bruce were Kal-El’s friends, and while Diana had always treated him like a beloved nephew, they didn’t exactly consider him an equal.

No, outside his team, Barry only had Oliver, the Flash. And Oliver had been nothing but kind and welcoming, often running to Central just to give Barry a hand or to get lunch with him. Barry reciprocated in turn, and he enjoyed their friendship. He wanted more than friendship, but he was willing to settle, because a life without Oliver sounded impossible. Oliver talked about the mysterious Arrow as much as he did everything else in his life put together. Barry knew love when he saw it. He’d seen it in Clark’s eyes when he spoke about Lois, and Diana’s when she spoke about Steve or Bruce and Oliver got that same look in his eyes when he spoke about the Arrow.

Oliver’s base was bursting at the seams. The teenagers had managed to huddle in one corner, masks off and phones out as they exchanged numbers and social media and funny pictures with their masks and hoods off. Felicity and Winn had grabbed Cisco and pulled him off to the tech and the three of them seemed to be having a grand time. The Black Canary and Siren were talking to Caitlin, all three of them still in their masks and seemed to be having some sort of subtle badass off. Diggle and John were standing next to each other and pretending they weren’t wearing the same exasperated expression.

Finally, Barry saw Oliver, standing off to the side with his domino mask hanging around his neck and suit unzipped just enough to make it a little more comfortable. He was smiling and laughing and Barry had to stop himself from happy floating. Nope. Not here in front of everyone. Not while Caitlin could see him and she would tell everyone. Iris would never let it go. Oh Rao, Len would never let it go. No happy flying.

“Hey, Barry!” Oliver smiled when he caught Barry’s eye and waved him over.

Barry headed over as slowly as he thought he could, wishing his suit had pockets so he’d have something to do with his hands. Then he saw who Oliver was talking to. She had to be the Arrow and yes, it turned out she was as gorgeous as Oliver implied. Her green suit was somehow both practical and completely feminine at the same time. Her long blonde hair fell down between her shoulder blades in a tight braid. Her eyes were so blue and just full of intelligence and determination.

“...warrior goddess…” Barry whispered.

Then the Arrow turned to look at him and Barry promptly tripped and cracked the concrete under him.

things I know for sure so far about the Karadox Sky High AU, even though I haven't written them in yet: 1, President Marsdin is instead Principal Marsdin, 2, Alex still doesn't have any powers but still gets herself into the action because of course she would, and she is absolutely still Kara's sister and Kara tells her everything. (also probably gonna just end up adding other Arrowverse characters to this, even though Kara and friends are going to be the main focus)

Okay, moving on. I agree about Alex. She would definitely still show up to the Homecoming dance (or whatever the climax of the AU is) despite not actually going to the school. There’s probably a running “but she doesn’t even go here!” joke about it. She proves to all the snobby heroes that you can be a badass even without powers. 

I think adding other Arrowverse characters in if you need them is a good idea (though I’m also still fond of the idea of adding in LOSH characters, but that’s up to you). Zari could be there with her wind powers, Charlie with shapeshifting, Nate with steeling up, maybe Ray could just naturally shrink? Captain Cold and Heat Wave could also just have natural ice/fire powers, too. Other metas like Weather Wizard could be there if you need them. Same with Black Canary (either one). I also REALLY liked your idea about the Psi/Livewire/Siobhan girl gang. 

Not sure if you wanna throw in other main characters like Barry, but he’d definitely be a hero and friends with Kara if he was there. Cisco and Caitlin also have powers. Ooh, or maybe Nora?? She probably fits better as a high schooler than most of Team Flash tbh…

And okay, so. Lena. I think charmspeak is a cool idea. It’s kind of a shady/questionable power by nature, which does fit Lena’s character (and I don’t think you’re being mean at all haha). 

Now I’m just trying to figure out what role she would play in the narrative of the AU.

I feel like maybe she’d be a hero, but still be treated like an outcast (because of her family and her powers, which make people not want to trust her)? So she doesn’t really have any friends and is lonely - but is also too proud to say so at first. And maybe eventually she ends up hanging out with the nerdy sidekicks instead of the other heroes, because they actually accept her, and that’s how she becomes friends with Brainy and Winn (and eventually Kara)? 🤔

Okay, so, for the record: I absolutely love that Nicercy is the only ship that’s twice on this list and everything else is all fresh and that the last ten oneshots I wrote actually span six different fandoms.

Now, to the analysis! Because I am 100% aware of what I prefer to write for an opening. I pick one character from the main paring and write an opening sentence mostly involving their current emotions or situation and use that to tie into a brief introduction to what this fic’s setting is.

Here’s the new thing I noticed in this game: When I break that pattern by opening up in a dialogue instead, it’s because I think I’m funny. Dialogue fic openers only happen when I think I have a funny dialogue that’d be a cute way to open the story. All serious openings are reserved to the usual pattern.

That’s interesting. I did not notice that one before.

okay lucille would probably have a pretty hard time in a romantic relationship so idk if that will ever happen. it’d have to be pretty development-dependent so if i wanted it to i’d really have to buckle down and play her more, like i used to. she’s close-ish with edith but i think their history is probably way too complicated for it to ever be romantic, and maria but maria would Also require a lot of development to be in a healthy romantic relationship i feel like

glory... is a dragon and she wouldn’t date most of the dragons who live with her because they’re either her adopted siblings or a bit younger than her. she was pretty friendly with another dragon named peril once, and they went through a lot of shit together, so that’s probably the only dynamic she’s had on denny so far that i’d consider getting shippy with?

siobhan...... is siobhan. actually i’ve always been really interested in seeing how she’d navigate feelings for someone else. canonically i do like both winn/siobhan and leslie/siobhan so i’ve always been like, “if anyone apped either of them i’d definitely be open to it” (especially since leslie got such good stuff before they killed her off, i feel like it’d be especially sad,,), but other than that i don’t really have plans. maybe she should meet amaya because i feel like amaya could turn siobhan into a gay idiot in RECORD time,

caitlin is someone i’ve never reeeeally wanted to put in a ship because of how messy canon has always been with her romantic relationships. i just don’t think she’d be in much of a good place to pursue something like that again, and i’ve doubled down on that kind of thinking since the show’s explanation for killer frost got super ???. it’s just... too complicated for me to want to touch especially since i haven’t had much muse for her in a long while (i’m waiting to see if s5 of the flash gives me any back but she miiight be another drop soon)

bramblestar is technically cat-married? he has a mate, squirrelflight. she was on denny at one point and she was the mother of the (now full grown) kits he has running around! i don’t know if he’d ever consider another mate, it’s been a really long time since he’s seen squirrelflight but, he does really love her.

heather is gonna be dating veronica! i can’t remember if you knew about that, we did most of the build up for it before you joined, but she was in a relationship with ratchet for awhile while trying to deny her feelings.... and then fate left and, not wanting to leave that hanging, we hc’d that they’d had their breakup conversation off screen at some point before that? i just haven’t gotten around to doing much with her after that.

madeline is married in her canon and already had a storyline about like, struggling with fidelity, so i’ve never considered pursuing anything for her on denny. although any combination of the big little lies women is generally a Good Ship

badgerstripe might fall for tigerstar, which has a lot of disastrous potential that i’m interested to explore, with the added bonus of just getting to do more with inter-clan tigerclan dynamics in general.and another litter of kits for people to potentially adopt! we’ll see what happens with that but there are a lot of interesting directions it could go in, so i’ve always liked the idea

trish probably won’t be dating anyone for awhile after how things ended with her and laurel, but further down the road if i still have the muse for her i’m definitely open to ideas! there are specific things that she needs to work out and that do and don’t work for her in a relationship so i might be a little picky about ships for her but, it’s a nice idea as an Eventual Thing

sophie is... very unpredictable when it comes to planning ships, and generally she wouldn’t really be interested in a proper romantic relationship. she’s 500 years old, she’s over monogamous relationships! she just likes to have flings with people! it’s fun!  that being said, she definitely did have like, a particular fondness for say, hadley, so it is possible for her to form more specific attachments to people but.... it’s just really up in the air? it would depend on who it was and what they wanted from her and how much she was willing to like. bend for that. she’s gonna be turning cloud Eventually and giz and i haven’t talked about the nature of their relationship at all but maker/progeny bonds are always weird and complicated, so there’s that.

okay i might as well do my current potentials too, sly is off the market i think. i do like playing with him being a little flirty because, he’s sly, but i think what he needs on denny is like. a solid girl best friend. that’d be really cute. he kinda had that waaay back in the day with jemi’s character, oswin. but as far as romance goes, i’m honestly too attached to sly/carmelita as a ship and i don’t think he’d want to give up on that, especially given his canon point.

she is way too much of a mess for a proper romantic relationship in the near future. it might be interesting to see someone like, Want to pursue that with her, but she’d have a very hard time ever being really open to it

Dawn

This kid is spoiled to the bone. 

Feel free to blame Oliver.

And Barry too but not too Oliver’s extent.

She knows she can sort of get away with things when her Pops is around.

With her Dad, not so much.

With her Mom? Ha, definitely not.

She got the hang of interdimensional travel before time travel.

Which was sort of a relief to Barry.

That was until she did eventually learn how to time travel.

But she doesn’t actually time travel.

Unless she really really needs to.

She prefers to travel to different universes.

She’s even gone fast enough to break into a whole different multiverse altogether.

At the age of fifteen, she found a world where Pokemon actually exists in the real world.

Cisco freaked out when Dawn just jumped out of a breach one day and holds out a Bulbasaur.

“You’re right! He is cute!”

After a stern lecture from Kara and Barry, Cisco (and Thea, Wally, Jesse, Iris, Felicity, Winn, William and Oliver) had to say goodbye to the little guy.

And to be honest, letting Dawn bring Bulbasaur back was one of the hardest things Barry had to do.

Having grown up to Barry playing the ukulele a lot, she knows how to play.

It’s her go-to instrument.

She has five ukuleles. 

One of each kind (yes, including the baritone) and an extra soprano just in case.

Her Kryptonian powers came first.

Which made Kara, Oliver and Barry think she wasn’t a meta, unlike what Caitlin said.

But then one day, the second after Oliver had just tucked her in, Dawn just vanished.

Oliver panicked. 

Which woke Kara up, which woke Barry up.

And they both panicked too.

Turns out Dawn had phased and went straight down into the living room.

“Okay. She’s a speedster.”

Connor

Connor hated his glasses growing up.

He never really understood why he had to wear them because he can see things perfectly fine.

“Dummy, it’s so we don’t see through walls,” little Dawn would tell him.

“We can do that?”

So many years later, just when he’s about to graduate, Alex (with the help of Caitlin) had found out that Connor doesn’t actually have x-ray vision.

Connor had practically ripped the glasses off his face.

When Connor first met Liv West, he thought Liv was going to be just another annoying Dawn-type cousin or something.

Turns out, she’s actually cool.

Little bit of a brat, but it’s manageable.

Connor never wanted to be a superhero in the first place.

He wanted to be a detective like his Pawpaw Joe.

But then when he caught some guys talking about his sister in such a horrible way.

Ever since then he realized he can do so much more with his powers.

A shed once fell on his hand when he was young.

He was at a friend’s house when a his friend’s dad’s shed caved in and fell right on his right hand.

The family freaked out, of course.

They were even more freaked out by the fact that Connor said it didn’t even hurt.

When the parents called Kara, Kara insisted on taking him to her husband’s friend instead of going to the hospital.

Pretending his hand was broken for a month was a struggle.

He hated that he couldn’t play with the other kids during PE.

William

William was already nearing his teenage years when he moved in with Oliver and, subsequently, Barry and Kara.

The first few months, it was obvious that he had a favorite.

It was Felicity. Felicity was his favorite.

She’s the reason he became so interested in computer sciences that it’s what he eventually pursued in college.

About a year after living with his dad and his whatevers, he exploded and let out all of his frustration.

It was mostly misguided anger about all the loss and confusion in his life thus far.

Oliver, Barry and Kara actually broke up for a while because Barry and Kara knew that William is Oliver’s number one priority.

And if William wanted them out, then so be it.

Barry and Kara hadn’t even really talked to Oliver. They just packed up their stuff in super speed and sped out, leaving their keys behind.

They wanted a clean break.

Instead, it left them all messy.

William eventually realized his mistake and called them back, saying he didn’t really mean any of it, that Dad’s drunk and he never drank this much before, and that he’s sorry.

He was once made to choose a favorite aunt (between Iris, Thea and Alex).

Out of sheer panic, he answered, “Felicity.”

“Oh yeah! Move over. This bitch won.”

He once shot Barry in the arm with an arrow.

Oliver tried teaching William archery.

He was pretty good as a beginner but when he started getting cocky, he let loose an arrow without really aiming.

The arrow flew and embedded itself right into Barry’s arm.

Barry was trying to keep Dawn from flying away; he hadn’t known there was a stray arrow heading straight for him.

William never really picked up a bow again.

Instead, he’s been relying on a taser gun made by STAR Labs and his hand-to-hand combat that’s barely passable by his Dad’s standards.

Waking up cold was never a good thing for Oliver. In the past it had meant no shelter on the island at best and a kidnapping at worst, but, god, he was freezing right now. And was he on the floor? It had been ten years since he’d had a headache like this and it occurred to him that he really didn’t miss his playboy days. He tried to stand only to have his feet fly out from under him and land flat on his back.

Because the floor was ice.

“Yeah, sorry about that,” a familiar voice called. “Apparently I had a little too much fun last night.”

Oliver opened his eyes to find Caitlin standing over him in full Killer Frost attire, complete with blonde hair. And above her, a breathtakingly beautiful ice ceiling that made Oliver think of cathedrals, not that he’d seen that many of them. “Where are we?” he asked.

“My apartment,” Caitlin said, pointing towards the kitchen, which looked completely normal. “And I think it’s safe to say I will not be getting my security deposit back.”

“How long have I been out?” Oliver asked, sitting up slowly rather than risk falling again.

“No idea,” Caitlin replied, making her way into the kitchen effortlessly over the ice despite the high-heeled boots she wore. “Woke up myself about five minutes ago, saw all this and you. Figured it probably wouldn’t be good for my recovering supervillain progress if I let the Green Arrow die of hypothermia in my living room, so I put on a pot of coffee.” She held up the pot. “Want some?”

“Sure,” Oliver said. He reached his hand out to steady himself as he rose to his feet and that was when he realized he was wearing the Green Arrow suit, right down to the gloves. “I’m wearing the suit.”

“Yes, I can see that,” Caitlin said with just a hint of mocking in her voice. “Probably a good thing, too. I’m guessing it’s better at maintaining core temperature than the suit you were wearing last night.”

“No, I mean I didn’t bring the suit to Central City,” he said as he moved slowly to the kitchen counter.

Caitlin passed him a steaming STAR Labs mug. “World’s fastest delivery boy, maybe?” she offered. “Add it to the list of questions.”

Oliver took a sip of the coffee. “Where’s your phone? We should probably call Barry.”

Caitlin pointed to a small, rectangular chunk of ice on the counter. “My guess is it rang and I froze it to shut it up.”

“Of course you did,” Oliver said.

“Hey, you’re lucky I didn’t freeze you.”

Oliver rolled his eyes and pulled up the hood, searching for his earpiece. To his relief, he found it. He pushed a pushed a button the side. “Overwatch, do you copy?”

It was Diggle’s voice that came on the line instead. “Man, what the hell is going on there? Lyla’s been working with ARGUS all night trying to keep a lid on this thing, especially since Supergirl’s involved, but every five minutes she has to pull some new video off of YouTube.”

“YouTube? I have no idea what happened last night. Last thing I remember was giving a toast, next thing I know I’m waking up in Killer Frost’s homemade ice castle.”

“See this is why I turned down the invite. Weird shit always happens when we visit them,” Diggle said. “You’re lucky you didn’t wake up next to a man-shark.”

“Vibe picked it up for you last night. Wild Dog said he popped into the bunker last night after he came back from patrol, called him ‘Casey Jones’ and took off with the suit.”

“He say when that was?”

“Around one a.m.”

“You know anything else that happened last night?” Oliver asked.

“Green Arrow stopped an ATM robbery last night with the help of an unknown woman I’m assuming was Supergirl. Breaches were opening up like crazy and there was a wave of superspeed-induced destruction last night. Lyla says there’s more to it, but she’s trying to compile all her information before she gives me the details. The phrase ‘national security’ was used a lot.”

“Let me know when you have more. Can you patch me through to Felicity? I don’t have my phone.”

A moment later, Felicity’s voice was sounding in his ear. “Oh, thank God, you’re alive. Have you heard from The Flash?”

“No, I’m with Killer Frost.”

Felicity sounded worried. “Killer Frost? And exactly how Killer is she right now?”

Oliver looked back at his companion, who was eyeing him now that she’d heard her nickname. “More frosty than killer. It’s fine. She’s in control. Where are you?”

“Stuck on a roof waiting for the slowest meta on earth.”

“Where?”

“Jitters.”

“Okay, I’ll come get you.”

“As sweet as that is Oliver, it’s nine o’clock in the morning and the Green Arrow parkouring his way through the wrong city might just turn some heads.”

Oliver turned back to Caitlin and gestured down at the Green Arrow suit. “You don’t happen to have anything else I could wear, do you?”

Oliver could have sworn Caitlin’s already pale skin went even whiter when she responded. “Yeah, I just, um. I need them back, okay?”

Oliver suddenly remembered just why Caitlin might have men’s clothing in his size and nodded. “Right. Of course.” He spoke to Felicity once more while Caitlin disappeared into her bedroom. “Just sit tight. I’ll be there as soon as I can.”

Caitlin came back carrying a sweater, jeans and sneakers. “These should work. Ronnie was about your size.”

“Thanks.” Oliver ducked into the bathroom to change and popped back out a moment later. “Are you gonna come with me?”

Caitlin gestured towards her hair with an icy hand. “No, I can’t seem to make this go away. It’s probably best if I stay in hiding until I have this all under control better. And I should probably grab a hair dryer and start doing something about all of this,” she said, waving her hand at her ice-encrusted living room.

Oliver nodded. “All right. I’ll call you as soon as I know something about the rest of Team Flash.” He hurried out the door, leaving Caitlin to clean up her mess.

Caitlin sighed. “Come hang out with the team, they said. It’ll be fun, they said. Liars.”

Oliver reached the door of CC Jitters at the same time Cisco and Iris did.

“Oh, man, is it good to see you,” Cisco said, clutching at Oliver’s arm. He turned back to Iris. “Okay, two down, four more to go. It’s a good start.”

“Three more to go, actually,” Oliver said. “I was at Caitlin’s. She’s fine, she’s just having some trouble with her powers.”

“Yeah, she’s not the only one. I can’t

“Yeah, a real great time for your powers to go down.”

“Iris, we will find the ring, but first we should probably find the groom,” Cisco said. “Don’t you think he might be a little more important in the grand scheme of things?”

“You lost the ring?” Oliver asked.

“You see?” Iris said. “He didn’t say ‘You lost Barry?’ He said ‘You lost the ring?’ Barry can find us himself. He knows where to look. The ring doesn’t have legs. It can’t just track us down. It might just be gone forever and it’s not like Barry has so many Allen family heirlooms to pass on.”

“Okay, Iris, breathe,” Oliver said. “We can find the ring we just have to retrace our steps from last night. And once we get Felicity, I’m sure she can hack into some security footage and give us a clue as to where we all went last night.”

“Hey, she is not the only one who can hack into things around here,” Cisco said.

Iris turned toward him, eyebrows raised. “Really? Because five minutes ago you were rambling about how you weren’t sure you could help the team anymore without your ‘semi-phenomenal, nearly cosmic powers’ at your disposal.”

“I had a moment of panic,” Cisco said, pulling open the door to Jitters. “You got the key to the roof?”

“Oh, you mean the key to the coffee shop I haven’t worked at in almost three years? Yeah, it’s right here in my jacket pocket. The symbol of Barry Allen’s undying love for me, however…”

“Okay, let’s just go get Felicity,” Oliver said, following his friends into Jitters. If anyone noticed the three of them making a beeline for the stairs to the roof they didn’t say anything. Then again, the civilians who ignored the odd behavior here and there tended to fare better in Central City.

Felicity latched onto Oliver as soon as the door opened. “Oh, boy am I glad to see you guys. Well, mostly see you. My vision’s a little on the blurry side this morning actually.”

“I think I know why,” Oliver said, reaching for her glasses. Gently, he tugged them off her face and studied them closer. “These are window glass. Kara’s.”

“God, did that woman keep any of her clothes on last night?” Iris asked, earning her puzzled looks from Felicity and Oliver. “I woke up in the Supergirl suit.”

“Ooh, how were the boots?” Felicity asked.

“Surprisingly comfortable. I think I have to have this Winn guy make me a pair. You think he does commissions?”

“Can we focus on the main plot here, people?” Cisco said. “We’ve got three superheroes still unaccounted for and only one clue as to why.” He handed the card they’d received with the champagne to Oliver.

“Music Meister?” Oliver read. “Cisco, you have got to stop coming up with these names.”

“Sure, I’ll just call everyone whose name I don’t know the unsub of the week. That won’t be confusing,” Cisco said. “Anyway, he’s not a totally bad guy. He actually did help Wally and got Barry and Iris back together last time, but that doesn’t mean he’s not a total dick!” Cisco yelled the last two words, earning him a strange look from his friends. “Oh, like he’s not listening now? If you were an insane magician wouldn’t you be?”

“Okay,” Felicity said. “Let’s get back to STAR Labs so we can find out just what happened last night.”

“All right, so let’s get bank statements to see where we were last night,” Felicity said as they walked into the Cortex. “Then I can use that to see which cameras we need to hack into.”

They all stopped short when they saw Joe West sitting in chair behind the main computers. “I could probably help you out with that. I’ve got a few dozen witness statements that could give you a place to start, but first, where the hell are Barry and Wally?”
