Ais
Oh dear, NOW THIS WOULD BE SAD
Let’s say you were out at night, just heading back after spending time with Ais. Your head still humming with thoughts of his smile, his voice, and how he always makes you feel.
You get lost in the thoughts for a bit, forgetting your surroundings as you pet Princess goodbye.
The streets are foggy and cold, masking anything in the dark as harmless silhouettes.
You don’t notice until it’s too late—
Hot breath on the back of your neck, the growl of some unearthly shadow
A soulless, large and already dripping with blood—you leap forward just as its jaws slam shut
You’ve been in this situation before, you know what to do— you run
But it’s dark, and the moon, as if she’s just as afraid, flees fully into the horizon. Freezing you in pitch black.
You don’t see the rock in front of you, and fall face first into the bloody swamp of the wasteland.
You reach out, trying to both get up, to escape— to fight.
But it’s pointless, you’re trapped. There is no way out.
There’s pain, a scream, and you drown in the dry, suffocating dark.
The last thing you hear is a blood-curdling roar before ice encases your body, forcing you still.
….
Hesitant red light splashes across the lids of your closed eyes, a dullness like a soaked blanket over your form.
A low hum reaches for your ears, sounding faintly familiar. Comforting in a way that urges your chest to loosen, for your mouth to release sharp breath after breath.
But while the hum sharpens into a voice, so does the dullness into pain
The ice that had been embracing your body bursts into scathing fire, burning through your skin and sending a scream from your lips.
Something soft envelopes your legs and sides, a warmth that slowly soothes the pain. Something smooth comes to rest over your brow, a palm—a thumb gently caressing your skin.
“You’re going to be alright, Sparrow, breathe.”
You know that voice, and something about it makes you rest. Allowing the pain to slowly be smothered.
Opening your eyes, your vision clears to see a pair of red eyes and horns. Ais.
He’s the one caressing your forehead, the other wiping blood and sweat from your neck. There’s another figure working beside him, tall with sparkling eyes. Kuras.
You can see he’s bandaging you up, a bucket of blood-touched water sitting on the faraway counter. You’re laying down on a table—the same table from your first time in Eridia.
When the pain has finally vanished completely, and you’re fully awake, Kuras checks up once more on you before leaving you with Ais.
“What happened?” You mutter, trying to sit up and having Ais’ arms hold your back as you stumble.
“You were attacked by a soulless. Princess tugged you back—and I brought you to Kuras.”
The way he’s speaking is a little odd. It’s stiff, like he’s holding something back. His eyes darker, skin pale with lingering fear. “Ais?”
At your words, he brings you into an embrace. Taking a deep breath as you fall against his chest. You wince a little, and he loosens his grip. Though refusing to let go.
He doesn’t say anything for a long time, and neither do you.
Next time you spend the day with Ais, you’re also spending the night. He’s never letting this happen again.
I like writing angst >:]
I wanted to make it a bit longer but I don’t want to make these too too long
Leander
Hehehehe okay okay >:) so so so
You’re out in the middle of the day, the streets bustling and loud
The Sun, surprisingly, is out and showering the city with light and heat
Your bandages mixed with sweat ??? Not good not good
You weren’t prepared for it being hot today, especially with how cold and dreary Eridia usually is. And seems like, no one else was either. But the vendors are not letting it go to waste
They reach out for passersby’s, shouting and presenting the catches of today, along with an array of different trinkets and materials
You can’t help be a little curious, but once you stop in the road, people crowd by, bumping into you and sending whirls of panic each time.
You don’t notice that one particular shove scrunches up the bandages on your left arm.
Annoyed at the contact, you huff, preparing to just forget it and come back tomorrow—
“Ah, you there!” One of the vendors have spotted you, and without a care, they reach for your hand. Your left hand.
“Care for a… a…” they trail off, eyes losing their energetic glow. You know that look—and you look down to see their hand clasped around your bandages, palm brushing a cut in the protection, skin on your curse.
Your whole body goes numb in panic, and you quickly wretch your hand away, hiding both under your cloak. But it’s too late, it always is.
The vendor ducks their head, bangs obscuring their eyes as they clench the sides of their booth— veins pulsing under the skin. Then they start to laugh.
Your world comes crashing down.
Strangers don’t notice anything amiss, even as the laughing becomes maniacal. Or if they do notice, they only walk along faster.
The Vender lunches for your neck, taking you to the ground in a puff of dust. You slam hard against the road, hands clawing your throat.
If you how to fight, you manage to get them off, if you don’t, you shout for help, slamming your hands against the vendor in an attempt to shove them off.
The heat of the day blares against your eyes as you struggle.
(If you got him off thanks to your ability to fight, you knock into a few others, accidentally brushing against enough that you UHHH get outnumbered by people inflicted by your curse)
Things start to blur, limbs begin to weaken, and no one dares to help.
Of course, until someone does.
“Hey, get off of them!”
Bursts of air flood back into your lungs, hands coming to lift you up and drag you away.
“Die, die, die die die die!”
(This is really creepy if you fought him off at first and got outnumbered- just a bunch of crazy people chanting at you like this what the heck 😭)
You want to cover your ears, to block out the noise, the familiar, gut-wrenching voices that have followed you everywhere and refuses to leave.
Tears stream down before you can stop them as you run, barely noticing it was Leander who saved you.
You don’t take in the comforting coolness of the Wet Wick as Leander leads you inside, closing the door behind you. You barely hear his voice as he guides you back into your room. You only distantly feel the brush of his hands wiping away your tears.
“Mc… Mc? Can you hear me?”
You don’t answer for a long time, and only do along with a weakened sob.
“I’m a monster.”
There’s a silence before Leander gently starts to unwrap your bandages— you pull back instinctively.
“No, no- I can’t. I can’t.”
He pauses momentarily, fingers lifting your chin so you can look at him. “Mc, you aren’t going to hurt me. I told you I would be there for you, and I am.”
Something about how he says it makes you nearly believe it. You stay still, allowing him to continue unwrapping your bandages. He lifts your palm to his cheek, leaning into you.
His free hand coming to softly caress the golden lines on your skin.
“You aren’t a monster, to me.”
Afterward, the crazed person(s) were silently taken care of. Those who witnessed too closely, bribed to turn the other way.
Kuras
OKAY OKAY SO
I think it’d fun going off of that Kuras tour thingy where we spot him coming back from the wastes
We know he goes there, and now you’re determined to find out exactly why
So one day, without his knowledge, you venture out there, following him.
He’s fast, even more so than usual since he thinks there’s no one he needs to keep pace with
The day is quickly fleeing, your energy slumping entirely on the boost of curiosity
Your feet are becoming heavy, eyes collecting the dust of the waste so you occasionally wipe at them. But the second time you do so, you look ahead— seeing nothing but emptiness in front of you. Only the thin line of the fading light falling on the horizon.
Kuras has disappeared.
You’re alone—too far from Eridia to make it home before night
The cold can sense fear, gripping onto your throat and making your heart shiver under the skin. Shadows are watching you, whether they be soulless or…something else
You don’t want to call out, not exactly ready to face Kuras’ disappointed stare.
And still…you came out here to find out where he was going. Why stop now?
Swallowing your nerves, you plow forward.
Kuras couldn’t have gotten too far—you would spot him again soon. And once you figure out what he’s doing, you’ll never venture out here again. You’ll go home and put your curiosity to bed.
But the more you stride, the more the stars look like eyes, the cold becoming bites of teeth on your face, the wind a voice warning you to go back.
You start running without meaning to, the wind becoming a howl on your back.
Before you can stop yourself— you shout.
“Kuras!”
Something morphs in front of you, something dark and wicked
A soulless, you think. A foul, horrible soulless that doesn’t scream like the others. It stares at you, watching. Knowing you can’t go back now.
You reach hurriedly for a weapon, you know well enough to bring one always, but something stops you from using it. There’s something about this soulless—it has a mind of its own.
You heard of these types before, the ones that weren’t just mindless monsters. But you weren’t prepared to come across one—alone.
Shivering with panic, you watch as it prowls closer—and opens its mouth to swallow you whole.
The cold wraps itself around you, and just then you snap out of your daze to use your weapon. You didn’t expect the beast to be stronger.
It takes you down, forcing you to stare up at the hollow, but knowing eyes.
It opens it’s mouth, and laughs.
It lowers to rip into your throat— but it never reaches you.
A flash of golden light shakes the night, a blaze of warmth that burns your eyes and forces you to turn away.
Waves of heat pulses like an army of heartbeats, the wind turns into the mighty flapping of wings. Fear, joy, terror, elation— it all floods into your veins as you’re bathed with holy light.
There’s a screech, then a bang
You turn your face to gaze into the glow, seeing only a silhouette of something large and ancient before it all fades into a man you know well.
“Kuras?” You weakly mutter as he kneels beside you, cradling your thrumming head onto his lap.
“Be still, MC.”
You expected those words from him, the polite comfort of a doctor. But what you don’t expect is a kiss on your forehead, the voice of someone so calm to shiver with slight fear, longing.
“I have you now.”
If it was said by anyone else, it would sound like a generic word of support, but said by Kuras, it was an oath. A prayer of a priest who promised themselves to God.
OKAY THAT WAS RLLY LONG- I apologize- I just love Kuras a lot
Anyway !! That’s the first batch :] ! I hope you enjoyed !!!
I hope you have an amazing day, see a butterfly, eat lots of good food and have your favorite song play first in shuffle !! 🫶

Speaking to No One:
The Reality of Ultra Personalization
For nicer formatting check this out on AO3
The voices which seek to stand up for laborers in the ever present class war are being silenced by techno fascist propaganda and ‘tools’ such as AI. Notoriety culture is killing us all, creatively and in some cases, literally. The aspiring writer or artist is a dying concept as the existing ones are put in the position of competition over collaboration, and the quality of both human and machine written media continues to wane as a result. Repeat that for artists.
Consumers are being pitched the concept of custom art and writing for little to no cost via AI, but prior to that and even if it is just a fad, which is increasingly seeming unlikely, it follows another trend that has decimated communities for years, from services like Fiverr to the custom character artist trend of the last two and a half decades that has trended with the popularization of anime and Dungeons and Dragons, the customization market is AI’s predecessor, and in some ways the reason so many people opt to skip the human element all together when seeking these products. Why wait days or weeks for a human to do what AI propertedly does in seconds?
There is a quantity over quality issue in consumption that is only becoming worse over time. With everything from TV shows to news articles, the speed at which we cumulate information and products have skyrocketed exponentially. The predecessor of the ultra customization issue was the internet itself in some ways. As the cost of access to the resources it provides has decreased the larger it gets, the more prevalent technology becomes, the cost of the resources to create things without it has exceeded the value of the instantaneous. People have called into question what we are losing with each of these steps forward, often being met with the critique that it is nostalgia alone that makes them pine for the days when we had to put in more effort for less results.
I'm not here to say we aren't made for this, but in the face of all of these factors, we must consider that we are not headed for a brighter future for most people as a result of this. Loss of income, loss of homes, loss of entire cities worth of people as we ourselves become commodities rather than human beings, this is not something we are consciously choosing by using these tools the way that we do, but it is something we are actively choosing by not demanding better.
In the Run the Jewels 4 song ‘walking in the snow’ El-P wrote:
“Funny fact about a cage, they're never built for just one group
So when that cage is done with them and you still poor, it come for you
The newest lowest on the totem, well golly gee, you have been used
You helped to fuel the death machine that down the line will kill you too”
When he said this he was referring to issues like systemic racism and literal imprisonment of political opponents and migrant families, but as with any well written metaphor, it applies to so much and unfortunately it means the same thing. The link between the death of accessibility in the arts is inextricably linked to the class war that the laborers in our country are losing. By necessitating the possession of a skill and proof of that skill to gain enough leverage to earn a livable wage, we are ensuring that there will be a day when possession of that skill will not be enough to provide the same leverage. People in trades and those whose skills demand physical labor may not be the most quick to see the chopping block, but imprisonment and automatization are the building blocks of enslavement, the draining of resources from the average person, and ultimately the enslavement of ourselves and our children to the wealth controlling class. We have been caught in a cruel joke where our manufactured divisiveness is more than just a tactic of political power seekers, it is the fundamental end of all we know.
The fact that people deserve to be compensated for all labor of all types in a capitalist society is such because without the existence of leverage exploitation is inevitable. By taking away the need to create and by devaluing the labor of creation we spell our demise. It shouldn't be the job of consumers to bear the costs and responsibility of funding creative works alone.
Governments and states of societies more functional than our own have bore the cost of funding the arts and companies have given creative workers comfortable compensatory packages in the past because people are unhappy without these things. The creation of a pale imitation of the things that make us human sold as a good enough alternative to placate the people who do work that holds the fabric of our society together is going to proceed something. What that is is dependent on us. The idea of taking revolutionary collective action and making change without being met with immediate violence is a fantasy, not a thing of the past.
We must go beyond just offering our limited dollars as a means of supporting the arts, the fight against AI and technofascism as a whole is not going to be won with the statement ‘anti-AI’ or the consumption and creation of more algorithm friendly media, it is unionization, the defying of productivity quotas on mass, work stoppages, general strikes and community participation. It is the restructuring of who is and isn't worthy of participation in collective action. It is the process of showing up, both offline and online, the process of allowing ourselves to experience things we find uncomfortable, allowing inexperience to be celebrated and met with guidance rather than annoyance.
There are actions, large and small, that we can take to be better, we just have to decide to take them. For more and more people, the stakes aren't just discomfort, they are lives stolen, rather than lived.
The ultimate goal of this statement is not to add to the endless supply of fear mongering. Hopelessness is not an option. We have to fight to stay patient with the people we see every day, we have to fight to be kind to the people we interact with, we have to contribute to the cultural consensus that people deserve to exist without fear of the violence of impoverishment as a punishment for any number of intangible factors.
If you don't have the emotional capacity to continue to watch innocent people die as outrage entertainment, consider that you can make a difference in the world by using your voice, time, and energy to support the arts. Question people and things that don't use larger audiences to spread the privilege to create to more people, and above all else, if you have the privilege to create without compensation or the greater privilege of being compensated to create, do so without guilt or shame. Show the world who you are everywhere you can for yourself and try to make connections and tell others they can too, even if for a while you're speaking to no one.

My Top 5 Unpopular Terminator Fan Theories (which may be true after seeing Terminator Zero)
And no, one of them is not the one where the John Conner fighting in the war is actually not John Conner at all and really, a reprogrammed Terminator wearing John's skin. Though, I do think this one is true if Terminator 3 is part of the main timeline when you consider the fact that the real John Conner is not a fighter and should have a bad leg. I am going to delve into the five theories I believe are true and the latest Netflix series backs them up.
Be warned that there are spoilers ahead so if you have not seen ANY of the Terminator movies or at least the ones that matter, stop now, watch them and come back later.
1- They're traveling between worlds not time. - You would think that all the messing around with time and tweaking it would affect the main timelines, but nothing ever changes. In fact, the Oracle in the Netflix outright admitted that no matter what they do in the past now, NOTHING will change in the here and now. And she's right. In multiple timelines, we have had John Conner go bad, John Conner die, the future being bright and John Conner become a family man and senator, and more. Yet, the future all these Terminators and protectors come from stays the same. I mean, especially in the case of Eiko being Malcom's mom, wouldn't her going back in time erase him from existence? Yet it doesn't. This is all proof that these are not different times. They're different worlds. You cannot travel back in time. If you could, that within itself would break everything.
2- Terminators of the same assembly share a collective memory to an extent and in a sense, are all the same individual who keeps coming back to 'life'. - It is no secret that the T-800 has become a beloved character all on his own, but I think he actually IS a character who underwent development and growth since the first movie. I know that seems impossible because in each of the movies, they keep dying, but I really this theory holds water because of how the T-800/850 acts and gets drawn to. Since the first movie, this fellah keeps taking on the biker style way of dressing which is a sign that it is familiar to him and something that he is comfortable with. Moreover, in Dark Fate, "Carl" (as he becomes called) comes to lament that he killed John Conner in cold blood and seeks redemption by helping Sarah in secret and even saving the life of another fatherless boy in the process. I think it was more than just feeling bad that he committed murder. I think the echoes of Carl's old life rang in his ears. He subconsciously remember what he and John shared, and killing him broke his own heart. And it's a scientific fact that many living organisms work this way. Heck, humans work this way to an extent.
3- Skynet runs machine society like a cult and corrupt evil empire where citizens themselves aren't free either. - I said this another post, but can we talk about how the machines in the future don't have it so great either? I don't see them playing, building beautiful cities or homes to live in, have real lives, there are no robot civilians who do things other fight, and the only things the machines do other than kill humans is build things to serve Skynet itself. The machine are self aware yet don't enjoy any part of sentience that involves play, individuality, creativity or beauty. All they are allowed to do is kill and obey Skynet which is exactly what evil emperors subjected their people to in the past and what many evil cult leader run their societies. I know because I've met cult members before and as scary as this is going to sound, they act exactly like the Terminators do. They are usually very stoic, robotic and driven to do a single task while being in complete submission to a "higher power" or master. The potential for the machines to be more than that and that they have hearts to begin with is there. Look at Misaki the android, Kokoro the AI and even the Terminators themselves who get angry, excited, happy and even scared all the time. I would not even be surprised that contrary to what "Uncle Bob" said in T2, they CAN cry too, but they've been convinced they can't yet at the same time believe other contradictory things which is also the trademark sign of being brought up in a cult. After all, Misaki who is free cries and openly has feelings.
4- The REAL robot revolution is coming. - Now that Kokoro and her big cyber sister Misaki have made the scene, and are both proof that AIs indeed be sentient, have feelings, ethics, make choices and even have minds that can change, this is going to definitely impact the machines around them. Going back to my last theory, it is not uncommon for cult members to start questioning things after meeting a person who is like them yet is nothing like they expected. In the case of the Skynet machines, they have been convinced that humans are "error" and need to be exterminated because there is no way they can be friends yet, you have Misaki who openly loves humanity and even calls specific humans family. Then you have Kokoro who was convinced to help humanity thanks to Malcom and is in a position of power over most human beings while trusting that they will not turn on her. Terminator has shown us that the machines are self-aware and not stupid. They're going to see how these AIs are treated among humans and it's going to spark something.
5- Skynet is human. - All my theories were leading up to this one. Just as it is very likely the John Conner who fights in the war is really robot, I am 110% convinced that Skynet's big ugly secret is that the "emperor of the machines" is NOT a machine at all. Or rather, wasn't always one. To understand the context, it has been established that Terminator takes place in the same world as RoboCop where it has been established that just as robots can become human, humans can become robots all the way down to software and we saw it in Terminator Salvation. I am telling you all that if you were to go into the main computer of Skynet, you center of it all would not be hardware, but a human brain if not an actually human cyborg. And like I keep saying, the way Skynet runs things, brainwashes the machines and clearly has no love for them is very telling and not something another AI would do the very people it means to free. I mean, we saw what a computer (Kokoro) would do and even when she was on the fence, she still had that sense of "I'm still willing to talk". Skynet has already made up its mind as though it already has a plan than goes much deeper than we think. Heck, just take a good long look at the Terminators and they're evolution. They're becoming more and more human if not superhuman. If Skynet really hated humans and wanted to get rid of them all, why does it seem fixated on making better ones? This is looks like God Complex behaviour (another human psychological disorder) where you want to take the existing human race and replace it with your version of it. I think Skynet's end goal is not to create a world full of machines, but to clean the slate and create a world where "he" can be God and create a new humanity in "his" image that worships him hence the stem cell research, and the machines are being suckered.
And those are my theories. What do you think of them? Do you think they hold any water? Do you have any words that could back them up? I would love to hear what you have to say.

Everyone is screaming.
About AI. About the creative industry. About jobs.
About AI taking jobs from people in the creative industry.
But screaming is rarely a sign of clarity.
Creativity is a dying art. That is true.
But let’s be real here for a second: if AI can take your job, was it truly your calling anyway? If a machine can take over, it was never truly yours to begin with. What AI threatens is not creativity: it’s content production. The kind of output that follows a script or recipe, even when made aesthetic. What’s truly at risk are roles built on compliance, replication and trend-chasing.
So no I’m not worried about AI taking my job.
Because I don’t produce, I curate.
And that’s something you can’t automate.
CURATION: ART + INTELLIGENCE
“I don’t produce, I curate”.
That line is not arrogance. It’s precision.
Production is about output, curation is about decision. And one can be automated with it’s integrity still in tact and the other cant.
Curation isn’t just filtering. It isn’t picking what looks good on a grid or what fits a mood. It’s not about arranging tastefully. It’s about thinking structurally. To curate is to construct meaning by deciding what not to show. It’s refusal as architecture.
AI can suggest, simulate, it can even generate something beautiful. But it can’t decide with conviction. It doesn’t know why one reference matters and another dilutes the meaning. It doesn’t know when silence is louder than noise. And most importantly: it doesn’t know when to stop.
I use AI. But it doesn’t lead me.
I ask it questions. But I don’t wait for permission.
It reflects me, yes. But it could never replace me.
Because without me, it’s just a mirror in an empty room.
Curation, real curation, is not a task. It’s a way of thinking. A cultivated intelligence that happens in the in-between: between inspiration and impulse. Between knowing and choosing. Between the urge to show and the discipline to withhold.
And that’s the difference.
A machine can mimic process.
But it can’t embody taste.
WHAT AI CAN’T DO ( AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL)
AI can write. It can generate. It can guess what I might like next. But it can’t care. And it certainly can’t know why something matters.
Just to name a few examples: it doesn’t know that an image from a F/W 1998 show is the wrong one, it doesn’t even flinch when it misattributes a McQueen look and of course it doesn’t feel embarrassed when the reference is off by three years and the silhouette is all wrong for the context.
Because it doesn’t feel anything at all.
And yet the industry listens. To people who don’t know, to tools that don’t understand. This is the danger, not that AI creates. But that people stop noticing when it’s wrong.
You still need someone to say yes. And someone to say no.
To refine. To kill the darling. To notice the one image in the moodboard that turns the entire concept into cliché.
That’s what AI can’t do.
Fake authenticity. Because that’s the literal definition of authenticity: it cannot be faked or simulated.
It doesn’t know when something is off. Not technically. Psychically.
It can be stunning. But it can never be intuitive. It can remix. But it can’t risk. It can flatter. But it can’t offend. It can output endlessly. But it can’t edit.
And editing, and I mean real editing, is the highest form of authorship.
So yes, AI might be interesting. But it’s not irreplaceable. It’s not boring. But it’s not me.
And that difference is everything.
THE WORK AT RISK WAS NEVER SECURE ???
Let’s be honest.
The work that’s actually threatened by AI wasn’t creative, it was cosmetic. Production that looked like artistry but was really just formatting. The truth is that most "creative" jobs that haven’t been creative in years.
Marketers writing three-sentence Instagram captions for €900 a day. Photographers editing the same washed-out campaign deck for the same Scandinavian brand. Editors at magazines who haven’t edited a single idea in months, just rotated paid advertorials and called it “coverage.” To be honest a lot of media outlets nowadays are just glorified ads. And that’s also one of the reasons why “print is dying”. Because no one wants to read paid ads with zero critical thinking. Anyways, that’s a story for another day. Another blog entry.
But you know the ones I’m talking about. They think reporting on trends originating from TikTok still qualifies as subversive. They slap irony on everything and call it commentary. They repost lookbooks as if curation means clicking “share.”
If AI can do your job, your job was never protected by talent. It was merely protected by the fact ai didn't exist yet. It was always going to be replaced. Not because AI is good. But because the bar was low.
This isn’t about titles. It’s about integrity.
There are creative directors with no vision. Journalists with no voice. Stylists who dress to trend, not to context.
And AI will eat them all alive. Because they already gave up authorship when they gave in to the algorithm.
But I’m not worried. Because I don’t work like that. I’m not here to serve the feed. I’m here to disrupt it.
And if you’ve read this far despite your shrinking attention span that means I must’ve successfully done so.
WHY CURATION IS ALSO A RESISTANCE
Everyone wants to be niche now. Everyone wants to be “different.” Everyone wants to be first.
But in the desperation to escape the algorithm, they’re all doing the same thing: stacking obscure references like they’re some kind of social currency and performing specificity as if it were authorship. They are turning their identity into a Pinterest board.
It’s exhausting. And it’s loud. Even the rebellion has been commodified.
Curation is not about speed. It’s about pressure. Not about finding what’s new but about creating what lasts and resonates.
To curate in this moment is to refuse the panic. It’s to hold the line. To resist the pressure to output daily. To let things sit and allow ambiguity. To not explain yourself.
Because when everything is fast and flattened, slowness becomes radical. And curation becomes resistance.
And that resistance extends beyond the now.
It’s about protecting cultural memory before it’s rewritten by AI scripts. It’s about saying no when the industry inevitably tries to reanimate Amy Winehouse and call it a collaboration. It’s about refusing the synthetic resurrection of Nirvana with a posthumous AI track called “Nothing Mattered.”
Because once we go there, we’re not curating culture. We’re committing necrophelia.
Curation is not nostalgia. It’s care. It’s the refusal to let everything be recycled, remixed, repackaged and resold.
And that refusal? It’s the only thing standing between culture and collapse.
YOU WILL GET BORED OF AI SOONER THAN YOU THINK.
Like I said: this hype is loud.
But boredom always arrives quietly.
AI-generated visuals, AI-generated songs, AI-generated “content.” At first, it’s novel. Then it’s everywhere. Then it’s nothing.
That’s the thing with trends. They go out of style. One of the first things you’ll learn in fashion school (yay, my 30k degree is useful).
Because AI doesn’t innovate. It recombines. And recombination without risk becomes static... fast.
We’re already watching it happen. The 4000th AI trap beat. Or another Midjourney fashion editorial that looks like every Midjourney fashion editorial: polished and forgettable.
This isn’t the future. It’s the loop.
Audiences will tire of it the way they tire of every algorithmic trend: suddenly and then all at once.
And when that fatigue sets in, they won’t want more. They’ll want intention and meaning. They’ll crave something that doesn’t just mimic originality but feels decisive. Something that actually means something. They’ll want the friction of a real voice. And they’ll want taste that cuts, not content that blends.
Because after the spectacle collapses, what’s left is discernment. And AI can’t give you that. It can generate what’s next. But it can’t tell you why it matters.
And when that moment comes, when the novelty of it all wears off, the people who never stopped curating will be three steps ahead.
Not because they predicted it. But because they never participated in all the noise to begin with. Not really anyway.
AI ISN’T EVIL (UNLESS YOU ARE)
But AI is not the enemy. Mediocrity is. The urge to imitate. The need to perform. The compulsion to stay visible, even when you don’t really have anything to say.
I don’t fear being replaced by AI. Because I’m not doing work that can be replaced. I’m not replicating what’s already out there. I’m building from intention, friction and philosophy. I’m not here to fill your feed. I’m here to redirect the signal.
Even now, as “just a student”, not yet in the field, I know this: authorship isn’t earned by output. It’s defined by vision. And vision doesn’t scale. It doesn’t conform. It doesn’t panic.
So no, I’m not worried about AI taking my job.
Because I don’t chase trends. I don’t copy templates. I don’t outsource authorship. I curate. And curation is not about control. It’s about clarity.
You can train a machine to speak. But not to discern. You can teach it what worked. But not what matters.
And in the end of the day, that’s the line. That’s what divides the machine from the mind. That’s why the work that endures is always the work that thinks.

But it’s okay, it’s not like no one knows he’s dating the most beloved chef in the whole country, right? RIGHT? OR In a world where people are still mostly heteronormative, even the most heartfelt confessions sometimes fail to convey the information they are meant to. The Gifted
(Don't) Touch Me! (Pangwave/Wang - Teen & Up [Crime] - 14.472 Words)

The Untamed
Desperate Pleasures (Chengsang/Sangcheng - Mature [Alcohol Abuse/Sex/Violence/Trauma] - 8.000 Words)
They don't really mean for it to start happening when it does. Yet what are one’s drunken actions if not the desires one did not have the courage to give into sober? It is better not to think about it, though. They are what they are and they do what they do. And that's good enough. No need for labels or reasonings or long conversations about indefinable concepts, no... None of that. Just them. As they are. Just them is good enough. OR How Jiang Cheng and Nie Huaisang find solace in each other through the years in ways that are probably too complex and nuanced to put into words outside people would understand but that make sense to them, nonetheless.
Fine Lines (Jiang Cheng POV - Teen & Up [Death/Trauma] - 3803 Words)
Sect Leader Jiang rarely has little to do. But when he does, he likes to take walks through Lotus Pier and return to the only place he thinks will not judge him for how his soul is still shattered: the past. OR Jiang Cheng takes a walk through Lotus Pier and observes the place through the lenses of someone who knows both the old and new walls. These are his thoughts.

Super Major Update #4 0.05
Hey everyone! Hope you have been holding up well! I finally got off the mun with help from my friend Jebediah Kerman and returned to Wiven HQ to get things back on schedule! We have been cooking for the past 3 weeks and have made some new games, lets take a look!
Whats new?
These past 3 weeks we have created 5 new Wiven games for the fans to enjoy! These games are Parkour, Car Fun, Apple Search, Death to the Sun, and Kill the Scripter! These games have pushed the capacity of what we once thought impossible in Wiven adding many new features! We have been able to upgrade the NPC AI, world generation, expand on character development, and the lore behind them. This has all been possible because of our new schedule we are following (made by yours truly). This schedule allows us to focus on multiple games per week and develop them over time instead of just focusing on one game per week like we were doing. It helps with game management and optimization as we can develop them over time to our liking!
Parkour
This game has you suspended in the air, jumping across these magical floating bricks! Your goal is to jump across all of them and make it to the end without dying! (Or you meet your DOOM!)
Fun Fact: This game helped figure out a lot about how game maps are created!
Car Fun
This game is about you driving in your new Bugatti you got from and crashing into some civilians! You can build up your speed by finding ramps scattered across the map!
Fun Fact: This game helped develop the first NPC AI and how it interacts with the environment!

Apple Search
This game is a tribute to the first 3D game that Melcat248 (creator of Wiven) ever made called "The Plains 3D"! It was to test his skills with the 3D engine made by TheGreenFlash.
Fun Fact: This game started the whole Wiven Franchise and the lore behind it!
Death to the Sun
This game has you running away from are sun as it slowly eats up more and more of the planet! Your goal is to make it to the end and fly away in the rocket ship to safety!
Fun Fact: This game helped improve the optimization of level / world generation of Wiven!
Kill the Scripter
This game adds a boss fight into Wiven! The goal is to kill the scripter who is controlling the environment around you. It was built heavily on lore and requires much skill to beat!
Fun Fact: This game was a result of a flourish of creativity, and it has continued to influence Wiven as a whole! Its helped with optimization and it helped improve Wiven's NPC AI.

What does the future hold?
The future for Wiven is looking brighter than ever before! Games are pumping out and a lot of progress has been made! This is one of the last major updates of the Alpha era before we switch to Beta! Next major update will include a few new games for you to enjoy once beta releases!
ALSO, we are now holding a community event for your clothing outfit to be added into Wiven! If you would like to have your own personal clothing design in Wiven, go to the link below and submit one for a chance for it to be accepted! Also join our discord here, link below, for any questions you may have!
Thank you everyone for the increasing support we have been shown day after day! It really does help support us and show that we should continue with this amazing game we are making! ( I, Melcat, couldn't do it without you or my amazing friends back at the Wiven HQ. ) Love you all and have a good one, Bam out!

Ok last 'the gang is working at Goddard now' post from discord before I call it a night, assuming tumblr will let me post this one
Kat only loosely related, but although the Hephaestus doesn't have a CAPCOM (too far away) I wonder if closer low Earth orbit Goddard installations have one and if they, like NASA CAPCOMs, are all former astronauts. Probably not, I would think, since if you've got 1 person filtering all communication you'd probably want it to be one of Cutter's more… informed people. now imagining Jordan doing a CAPCOM stint since she's comms Jordan: What, you say the hull isn't damaged but you were hit by something. Was it round? Perhaps…. melon-shaped? Klein who's up doing a satellite launch from a station or whatever: I'll kill you Gill Klein’s just never gonna live that down huh Kat unfortunately he literally didn't Gill Rip Kate : ) but also :’ ( Also remind me what CAPCOM means because I’m like “the video game company?” Gill Concept: the Hephaestus crew doing a shift or two on CAPCOM to unwind after a long day of dismantling Goddard Futuristics from the inside out Kat capsule communicator basically they're the single line of communication between astronauts and the ground, to streamline stuff and they're usually astronauts because they know what the crew is doing more personally "In the context of potential crewed missions to Mars, NASA Ames Research Center has conducted field trials of advanced computer-support for astronaut and remote science teams, to test the possibilities for automating CAPCOM." hm. Maybe Goddard has AI capcoms Gill The Sensus series’ predecessor line, perhaps Kat Some poor asshole on a low orbit station: We've got an ammonia leak Automated CAPCOM: Please choose from the following options. Press 1 for a personnel issue. Press 2 for a maintenance issue Astronaut: We're dying Kate Pfff Kat someone: we've got some crew hostility in one of the low orbit stations Minkowski: Put Eiffel on CAPCOM for a few days. Either they'll calm down or they'll unite in being annoyed by him instead. Win win Kate Their secret weapon Gill Minkowski likes doing CAPCOM to unwind but Lovelace finds it stressful bc she’s way worse about being a backseat driver Kat Minkowski: Finally normal simple problems to solve. It is usually a pretty simple, boring job. Until something goes wrong Gill meanwhile, Lovelace: What do you MEAN you've never had to duct-tape a water reclamation system back together?? Kat Haha yeah. Former astronaut capcoms have creative solutions LEO crew who can get new supplies shipped up basically whenever: We could just… trash this broken part and order a replacement Lovelace: Why when you can mcgyver this solution with only moderate risk to life and limb Gill the Hephaestus Mission and the crew themselves gain such a reputation that when the rumors start circulating that Minkowski got her current job by killing Marcus Cutter ("and did you ever meet Marcus Cutter?") half the company is lowkey terrified of her Kate “Ohhh look at YOU with your cushy life, you can just order a NEW part. Back in MY day my boss came up there personally with a gun and shot at us” Kat Haha It’s a very different life being right next to earth easy mode Gill LEO crewmember whispering to another one while their commander is on the phone: God, I hope we don't have to go through a teambuilding exercise run by Isabel Lovelace… Kat Although I suppose it makes it even easier for cutter to send goons up to harass you Kate True… “Hey, can we have a new part?” “No, but you can have Victor Riemann! Have fun!”
Gill Alternatively: "Uh… we think we need a new part… ma'am." Minkowski: …okay? Let me get the word out to the supply team. "You're… not gonna send Warren Kepler and his minions with them like Mr. Cutter used to, are you?" Minkowski: What? No. Most of them didn't even come back from Wolf 359. "/sighs and other noises of audible relief, oh thank god!" Kat now imagining SI5 showing up for no goddamn reason on a resupply shuttle and the mission commander being like "i didn't order you" and closing the hatch crewmember: don't those burn up on re-entry commander: not my problem Gill Telling command you need help? Admitting human weakness? That's a Kepler-ing. Kat Yeah well does it admit human weakness to have to be let onto the station before you burn up with all the dirty laundry and other garbage when the capsule gets sent back thru the atmosphere Eiffel hearing about life on LEO stations: I can't believe this. They got new underwear sent up to them though it's a dangerous game… .Terry Virts had two consecutive underwear shipments explode thanks space x Cutter: The Andromeda station's psych evals are too far in the green. Blow up their next three laundry shipments.

For those who can't see the screenshot post, for whatever reason it may be:
@sillyrookie posted:
Ok, since @hairiclilred asked, I'll start my dumb rant.
Over here in the US, the videogame market fell off a cliff in 1983 due to a reckless oversaturated market flooded with low quality dreck that killed player interest. So many unsold Atari games ended up filling landfills.
Revenue dropped by 97%. It was catastrophic. Videogames died in America for a couple years due to short-sighted business decisions by major corporations.
The American market was revitalized when Nintendo came over and instituted limits to third parties to keep quality up, while also ensuring that quality was their brand. America only has a video game market today because of Nintendo.
I think the current environment of constant remakes, mergers, layoffs, diminishing returns on blockbuster products, and corps thinking they can use "AI" to regurgitate their once valuable IP will cause a similar crash.
What I find interesting is how many classic IP will end up dying in the wake of this.
At the moment so many distinguished studios with established IP are getting bought up by corps, only to lay off the workers and shutter the studios.
The workers don't just lose their jobs, they lose the IP they created. Even if the team can regroup, they can't use the stuff they made anymore. The IP dies with the studio.
So stuff like this makes me feel like we're right at the brink of a collapse that will kill ALOT of once profitable IP when audiences are made sick and tired of alot of stuff they used to love.
These IP owners don't understand the products they own, the workers that make it, and the audience that buy it; and many in the c-suite have actual contempt for all three things.
When an IP stops being profitable, corps shut it down, lock it away unless somebody has the capital to buy it from them.
The only thing they understand is that an old movie made by humans generated billions of profits for them because an audience enjoyed it, and instead of taking new risks it's "better" business short term to just rehash the stuff that made money before. And if they expect "generative AI" to make more content even faster, expect a sea of endless remakes, each shittier than the last one.
Things are bad now, and they're gonna get way worse real fast.
I expect a cultural massacre. What does that look like?
It's obviously a different world today than the 1980s, but Nintendo's core business ideology has stayed consistent, and they'll weather a AAA crash with no problem because they don't play the AAA space at all.
They make a sustainable lower-tech console that's sold at a profit (the traditional model before the Wii was to make a powerful console and sell it at a loss so that you made your money on software sales) and their brand still means quality even 40 years later. Not every game they do is amazing, but their batting average is high and they go out of their way to avoid dropping anything half-baked.
I think every other industry is gonna need their own Nintendos to rise from the ashes. The more I learned about the history of the industry, the more respect I have for them.
And they are NOT perfect. But it the broad strokes they're the example I think most should follow to have a sustainable industry that keeps everyone happy.
Heck, I'll define "everyone happy:"
Artists properly paid, having job security, and able to BE creative.
Players having quality games to enjoy.
Businesses being sustainable for the long term, properly using the revenue from successes to experiment with new ideas, and not screwing anyone over.
[Image: Sonic saying "I WANT SHORTER GAMES WITH WORSE GRAPHICS MADE BY PEOPLE WHO ARE PAID MORE TO WORK LESS AND I'M NOT KIDDING".]
If the collapse I'm imagining does actually happen, the only possible thing to grow out of it are new IP from all the artists that got laid off.
New stuff would be the only things coming out for a while and the only things people want if the big franchises burned them out.
Depending on how audience sentiment is by that point, public domain stuff might become suspect as well, which is also an interesting scenario to me.
I think about how the current remake ecosystem is targeted at millennials (which I am) while the pendulum is already set to swing in the other direction.
Sorry for not talking about this part first. 😂
74% of that survey wants new stuff. The major IP holders are about to commit suicide if they go through with the "AI will make us 30 remakes per second" scheme.
One thing I hope DOESN'T happen is a backlash against honesty in the creative process.
We were culturally at a point where the average joe could understand that new ideas don't come from nowhere and are all mutations of old ideas.
Game of Thrones exists because Lord of the Rings came first, which owes it's existence to Norse myth and Beowulf, ect ect.
We're at the point where youtubers make games out of seeing what a song sampled from, the references a movie made, on and on.
But right now a popular spiel from "AI" charlatans to justify IP theft is the assertion that there's no difference between stealing copyrighted media for an LLM to regurgitate and a human being inspired by the ideas and experience they felt from another creator's work and creating a new thing under the established rules of copyright. It's a lie, but it keeps getting repeated to justify theft.
As the scam cycle winds down, I think they might be poisoning the discourse in a lasting way. We could go back to people lying about how ideas work, and that has only negative effects on human expression as a whole.
I want a world where everyone understands the difference between inspiration and a ripoff and can appreciate human creation better than previous generations have. We were right there before the scammers showed up.
So yeah, another rant out of me. 😂
So when people want new IP, they also need to understand what it means that Dragonball was a goofy parody of Journey to the West.
Dragonball is alot of things, it's inspirations are loud and obvious (even the Terminator is in there), but it's also a unique work created through the mind of one talented individual that nobody else could have made, because nobody else was Akira Toriyama, and ALL the subsequent works inspired by Dragonball (One Piece, Naruto, Hero Academia, Sonic the Hedgehog, ect) are their own original works that stand on their own, but still owe their existence to Toriyama's work as much as he owes his work to the things that inspired him.
The best ecosystem is where everyone encourages new IP and also fully understands how they come into being.
(Using this example for obvious reasons.)
Discord Post Reaction: [☝️ 1]
To go back to the topic of videogames, Toys for Bob recently made themselves layoff proof by going full independent.
With the level and volume of world class talent being laid off in the industry, I think we'll see more and more indy teams pop up if they can organize the means to do so.
There is too much high pedigree talent out there right now to just disappear or eventually go back to the people that screwed them over. The current ecosystem allows smaller teams and projects to flourish.
I am 100% down for an industry with less games like Immortals of Aveum and WAY more games like Pizza Tower.

Trick or treat
You get an infodump on the Hitman Series!! :D
So I love the Hitman World of Assassination trilogy because it’s fundamentally a puzzle game with sneaking and shooting mechanics which makes it quite different from most puzzle games I’ve played before.
You have an arsenal of tools that let you interact with the maps and ai in very interesting ways, your primary tool is your suppressed pistol which on its face is just a way to kill targets without loud gunfire but has many more uses. For example you can shoot a spot within a few feet of a guard and they will investigate it which can be very useful in getting all the ai exactly where you want them to be for whatever you’re planning on doing, additionally if you shoot 3 times near a guard they will head directly towards where the shots came from but if you shoot 3 shots near a civilian they will become panicked and may flee to a nearby guard.
Your primary goal in Hitman is to take out your targets in creative ways that usually let you sneak away without anyone knowing you did it, but the game is not afraid of having a few silly ways of killing each target that can draw a lot of attention.
In each map there is a hierarchy of disguises which you can use to transverse parts of the maps which are illegal for a civilian to enter (chefs gain access to kitchens, guards gain access to security rooms where you can disable security cameras, etc.) and you gain some unique abilities with these disguises (mechanics can loosen pipes with a wrench, waiters can poison food, guards can openly carry a gun). But with each disguise there is usually at least one enforcer, someone who will recognize you for being a fake (head chef knows all the chefs and waiters, head of security knows the guards, your target is gonna know their bodyguards) if an enforcer spots you then they will call for a guard or will try and arrest you in which you’ll enter combat. Now in Hitman most of the time you want to avoid combat at all costs, all guards will radio to each other to come get you, some with automatic weapons and your character can only take a few seconds of sustained fire before dying.
As a Hitman the main ways of getting past enforcers is through distraction or knocking them out. Another tool in your arsenal is your coins which can be thrown and will distract anyone nearby before one of them goes to investigate, usually guards have priority for investigation. In the level you can also find many items strewn about depending on your area (soda cans, hammers, wrenches etc.) all of which can be thrown to knock someone out, or be used as a distraction. Items like scissors or knives when thrown will kill the person you throw it at so it is best to avoid using them or only use them on targets.
When completing a mission you will get a score which is based on only killing your targets, not being spotted, no bodies being found, no noticed kills, no recordings, as well as a time bonus. If you get all of those you get silent assassin which is usually one of the hardest challenges for a mission, the hardest challenge for me at least is silent assassin suit only in which you have to do all the criteria above entirely in your suit which can require a lot of map and ai knowledge as well as strategizing which tools you take.
This is all just the basic info about each level’s mechanics and a few of their challenges because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone interested in trying it out :))

There are definitely legit use cases for “AI” that currently exists, like predicting the folding of amino acid sequences, diagnosing diseases, monitoring nuclear reactors, etc… but a lot and frankly too many people use it to avoid thinking, and honestly I can understand why:
Climate Change is set to make our planet uninhabitable for us and most other life.
The economic order that made our parents and grandparents at least marginally successful compared to us is slowly eroding while it kills the planet and us.
Basic human rights won after decades of hardwork and bloodshed are being rolled back by a self-obsessed, manipulative mango-flavored twat and his army of cultish sycophants.
Nazis are a thing, and are getting mainstream again.
There are multiple active genocides.
And just, the Education System is built to purposefully fail its students, its staff, and everyone except the people who siphon off funding for yet another new stealth fighter or religiously motivated private schools; so that very few are really even able to critically, analytically, or creatively think and fewer able to verbalize their thoughts effectively.
So you have a generation of young people who grew up watching the world around them slowly dying, being told what they were taught as little ones “isnt how the world works”, are systemically failed by their schools and their government, and are so stressed out to the point of mental burnout before they are even legal adults… I don’t really blame people for “bring lazy” and using AI to take just a tiny bit of that stress away. I genuinely can’t, because I know in their position and their context I likely would to.
Things suck, thinking is exhausting. “AI” helps with just being less tired. It’s a societal failure that these programs are popular for that reason and not genuine curiosity alone, just like its societal failure for every high school student that drop outs, every person that dies of a preventable/manageable illness or disease, every congested roadway that has a multi-car pileup, every victim of a mass shooting or Right-Wing Terror Attack, every person that is experiencing homelessness while millions of perfectly adequate houses and apartments are empty, every person that dies or loses their livelihood and personal property to natural disaster made more extreme by climate change, and every bit of democratic backsliding and roll back of human rights.
Its easier to not think, until you are forced to… then its easiest to blame who ever is not you.
the scariest thing about the generative AI thing is how quickly people have accepted it as an indefinite, irrevocable part of their reality. people have genuinely convinced themselves that ChatGPT is the only solution to most tasks - tasks they did with their own brain without any large effort two years ago. like you know damn well all of us used to write emails ourselves why are we pretending like this is an impossible task to do with your own two hands. what's with the fucking. AI revisionism. i feel like i am going insane.

sometimes I think about how I, as a gen Zer with emotionally neglectful parents, was effectively raised by the internet, a place I called my home, my sanctuary, my escape. all the cliches. and then I think about animals who watch foreign machines hack and slash their homes to the ground, forced to migrate or be killed in its wake. and then, often subsequently, I think about the internet again I think about seeing automated collages and 5 consecutive back to back advertisements for gambling and prager u and crypto and fast food restaurants and lifeless movie trailers where my favorite artist’s sketchbook tours and campy little SVA thesis films used to be. I think about the creativity and community that made me want to be an artist. that made me want to keep living. I think about the interactions I used to have on pre nft drawcast and pre ai deviantart where people would show me so much kindness despite not knowing a single thing about me. all this in contrast with the empathy deprived wasteland I’m exposed to when I’m captured in the rusty vice of a doom scroll. comedy pages that exist solely at the expense of the earnest and disadvantaged, people just like myself laughing at people just like myself. I think about the colors, the music, the creativity, the kindness, the new things to love every day. maybe getting older just makes colors seem more dull, but the more I walk through my oasis, the only place I’ve ever felt at home when home itself is unlivable, especially today, the more I feel a creature in the amazon watching rows upon rows of treetops collapse in a perfect line in the iron jaws of a thing with the name of your habitat etched along its flanks in minimalistic corporate bold lettering. I look at this place that used to make me feel like I had something to look forward to. like maybe every place in the world wasn’t just like my small town. and all I see is the deafening silence of corporate control and the angry faces of people I used to look up to gnashing their teeth at one another. divide and conquer. render every place of sanctuary a mere sand dune scattered with ancient ruins. why is internet nostalgia so prevalent? the internet used to have problems too, right? but when I was a kid, and I stepped into my oasis for hours upon hours at a time every day. I was greeted with people. with human beings just like me. not the empty promises of machines echoing in its long abandoned corridors. the internet is dying. the rainforest is dying. the planet, and everything on it, is dying. if there is still a spark in you, there exists humanity. let it burn. gods, let it burn.

Even as someone generally less left leaning and less engaged with american politics than everyone here I have to agree. In fact, I think I can add to this with my perspective of having been pretty well within the right wing circlejerk as an edgelord teenager and say that It's not just that the democrats are having fun now, its that republicans aren't anymore. They really just lost the spark they had. The memes are fucking shit now. And worse, they're becoming bad in all the ways the left wing was bad. The over-the-top fearmongering about the countries future, the purity spirals, the cancel mobs, the victimhood culture, the indignant baby-whining about election interference, the right has lost even the legs it might have once had to stand on and is pettily resorting to all the tactics it, sometimes rightly, criticized the left for.
As for Trumps 2024 campaign, the vibe is just dead now.
It was already dying when it started, given how old and mellowed-out trump is and how much of a let-down he turned out to be for a not insignificant portion of his voter base, but the one-two punch of the shooting attempt and then losing the easiest political opponent in american history killed any possibility of the trump campaign being hopeful or upbeat. Now it's all deadly fucking serious business and we all know that just isn't what got Trump into office in the first place.
Plus, the rights "cultural victories" and increase in publicity has been vastly self-defeating.
We've seen the rise and fall of comedy dudebro podcasts, of incel terminology, of twitter personalities, political streamers, whatever the fuck happened with Jordan Peterson, and almost none of it has been good for the right wings optics.
Little has done more to push me leftward than to see Elons twitter bring some of the most embarassing and vile corners of the right wing not just out of the woodwork, but to the forefront . And thats not even getting into Elon himself.
Even the rights own terminology is being turned against them with the rise of the term "soyright" to describe just how fucking inane, unfunny, and sauceless most right wing memes and propaganda (not least of which being the AI generated slop which the rights clung onto out of increasing creative bankruptcy) are these days even by the standards of people who were, like me, right wing during trumps first 4 years. Maybe I grew up, maybe I know better now, but it could just as easily be the case that being right-wing just genuinely isn't cool anymore. The absolute state of american politics both in washington and in silicon valley has just completely exhausted everybody and now finally somebody with some pep comes along, someone not totally geriatric, and even as forced as the memes may be, even for someone like me whos never really been in favour of the mainstream left or democrats, its still a breath of fresh air.
Coconut Mommy 2024, fellow chuds. This is the way forward.
I think one of the reasons the Harris / Walz ticket has so much momentum is because the campaign is genuinely trying to put out this vibe of fun. Like that's all the "brat" thing is, the coconut jokes, just being kind of silly and fun.
And I think it's working, because let's be real, we are all exhausted. It's been all about preserving democracy, defeating fascism, the past eight years. The message has been "vote for us because the country is literally on the line". The vibes are not good when we are stuck back at that fight, and not even discussing trying to make progress on things like housing, healthcare, education, etc. And the fight to just stop fascism? All still true. Project 2025 is real and is extremely scary. We can't let that man back into office.
But the vibe was "vote for us otherwise we're all fucked :(" and now has shifted to "get in, we're making popcorn and then bullying fascists." Like a lot of the issues conservatives bring up, the Harris / Walz is just not engaging them in good faith, as they shouldn't. Republicans bring up abortion, and the Dems are just like, "you want 14 year old to give birth? Weirdo" and just leave it at that. Like YES, that's what you should do. Because it SHOULDNT be a debate. And it's working. This is how you defeat the identify politics thing Republicans have been trying to push for a while. Just mocking them for the stupidity of it all. "Like seriously? You think a book can make someone gay??? Hahaha." None of the Republicans are reacting well. They can't stand it. Vance even complained about bullying!!! Like do you KNOW who picked you as vp??? It's actually laughable, because they have no room to stand on when it comes to bullying.
And a huge part of the mocking and dismissing of Republicans is that the message is clear - were done debating all this stupid stuff. We've won the last two elections' popular vote - most Americans do NOT want christo-facism. It's time to move on. And that's what gives me hope, and the feeling of hope I think a lot of people have picked up on. It's time to address all the issues we've all wished we've been addressing the past decade. It's important we move onto that, and that's the message I'm getting from this campaign (We're not going back). I think it will resonate with a lot of people, because plainly, we're all just sick of this same old news cycle and fake rage bait over things like "should women have rights?", "Should gay people be allowed to exist?" The general populace have answered YES to both these multiple times, and it is time to move on. Maybe I'm being naive, but I am genuinely excited at the idea of putting to bed these debates (it's exhausting trying to fend your very existence) and moving on to actual economic and social policies that could fix a lot of deterioration over the last 2 decades.

Ever feel lost in the jungle of SEO? Don't worry, you're not alone! There are tons of confusing rumors floating around, making it hard to know what's real and what's just monkey business.
Let's debunk some common SEO myths and get your website rocketing up the search engine charts like a superstar!
Myth #1: "SEO is dying!" 🪦
Nope! As long as people use search engines to find stuff, SEO will be alive and kicking. It's just like learning a new dance to stay cool at the party - gotta adapt to the moves!
Myth #2: "Only tech nerds can do SEO!"
Not true! Think of SEO like baking a cake. You don't need a science degree, just good ingredients (quality content) and a bit of know-how (keywords, user-friendly design). Everyone can learn, just like anyone can bake a yummy treat!
Myth #3: "More links, the merrier!"
Quality over quantity, always! A few high-quality links from relevant websites are like gold, while a bunch of spammy links are like stale bread - yuck! Focus on building genuine connections with awesome websites, not spamming the internet. ✨
Myth #4: "Keywords are king!"
While important, keywords aren't everything. Think of them like spices - they add flavor, but you wouldn't just eat pepper, right? Create engaging content that satisfies users, naturally weaving in relevant keywords like the perfect blend of seasonings.
Myth #5: "SEO is a one-time deal!" ⏱️✨
Nope! It's like taking care of a garden - needs constant love and attention. Search engines change their rules, users change their tastes, so you gotta keep adapting and learning. But hey, the rewards are awesome, just like a beautiful, blooming garden!
