(just incase you dont know, Asher's past name was Danny when he was with Aiden <3)

Aiden was not usually a drunk. Sure, he’d have a few drinks but nothing wild.

Danny knew something was wrong with him just by the look of him. The top three buttons of his shirt open, the messy tie. There was even dirt underneath his fingernails. 

Aiden was usually a well groomed man. His black and grey streaked hair neatly styled just the way he liked. His stubble short but noticeable. The kind that tickles your skin if you brushed off of it.

But that wasn’t who Danny was looking at right now. 

His eyes fell to the floor once Aiden’s met his. 

“What are you staring at, pretty boy?” 

Danny gulped, feeling the lump in his throat as he rasped, “No-nothing… ‘m so-sorry sir..”

His breathing picked up even at the sound of Aiden’s scoff, “Oh you think you're just so perfect, don'tchya?” 

Danny blinked, his eyebrows furrowing, “S-Sir?”

“Oh, I'm sorry,” fake sympathy dripped from his words like honey, “Did I say something that confused you? Can I not get it through that bloody thick skull of yours? God, you're useless.”

A tear ran down Danny’s cheek silently. He gulped hard and bit his lip, trying desperately to conceal any sound.

“And now you're bloody crying,” Aiden sighed, “Jesus, Dannyboy, can you actually pull yourself together for five minutes… or are you too weak to do that?” 

Danny gulped again, his hands clenching to fists in his lap. He was kneeling on the ground before Aiden. Danny was starting to understand why. Aiden wanted to feel powerful. And he was. He did. Danny felt so small- so weak- god, he really was useless!!!

The silence made time pass even slower. Danny’s fingernails bit into the palm of his hands.

“You think you're so perfect, don't you?” Danny just stayed silent. He couldn’t tell if that was a rhetorical question and he didn't want to chance his luck.

“You have everyone giving you the doe eyes, completely obsessed. You haven't a damage done to your perfect face. Your hair sits perfect naturally and your form… jesus, it's perfect.”

Danny gulped, feeling Aiden’s eyes bore into him, “You're… perfect,” he snarled, glaring at Danny before he straightens up, “Come here.” 

Danny gulped but didn't delay, quickly getting to his feet and rushing over in front of Aiden who just scoffed;

“Of course… of course you’d just obey immediately.”

Danny gulped, looking to the floor before flinching at a sound he knew all too well. The flick of a switchblade. The tip of the blade pinched under his chin, slowly lifting Danny’s head up.

“Ah ah ah, Dove,” Aiden cooed, a smirk pulling at his lips, “Eyes on me.”

Tears threatened to fall down his face, his bottom lip wobbling as he tried to hold it in but he knew that in a matter of seconds they would fall. 

“So perfect,” Aiden whispered, tilting his head as he slowly dragged the blade upwards, “Almost…too perfect.. you know?” Danny’s eyebrows furrowed, when he spoke, his voice came out as a rasp, “S…sir?”

Aiden smirked, “You sound so scared already, pretty boy, do I scare you?”

Danny’s eyes widened. How in the hell was he supposed to answer that??? He was never permitted to lie, but then again… would he respond all that well to being told he was scary?

He cleared his throat quietly, eyes dipping to the floor before back to Aiden’s cold eyes. Aiden smirked, his eyebrow quirking, “Have I lost you, dove?” 

Danny clenched his jaw, “N-No sorry, sir I- Yeah- yes I a-a- I’m scared…”

Somehow, Aiden’s smirk widened, his other hand brushing over Danny’s cheekbone, snaking back to the back of his head and his fingers curling in Danny’s hair before tightening quickly. Danny yelped out, tears spilling from his eyes, only making Aiden chuckle.

“There are my beautiful tears! God, how they glisten in the moonlight.” The knife quickly wipes away a tear, Danny squeezes his eyes shut with a whimper, forcing himself not to flinch. 

“Like I said,” Aiden sighed, “Too perfect.” Aiden’s voice dropped, a cold tone which sent shivers down Danny’s spine. There was a sharp pinch under his eye and suddenly the knife slashed down Danny’s cheek. 

He cried out, flinching back which only made his wound worse. “Oh quit crying, dove, there’s no use. Danny, hold still, you're only making it worse,” Aiden growled, becoming impatient at this point. His hand tightened in Danny’s curls, making him cry out even more before stilling.

“‘M so- sorry sir,” He sobbed. God, he didn't even know what the hell he was sorry for. All he wanted was for Aiden to be happy with him. 

Aiden shoved Danny to the ground before standing, crouching down to his hunkers before cupping Danny’s cheek, “Oh dove… you look like a disgrace,” He cooed. Danny whimpered, feeling the blood drip down his face. 

Aiden’s thumb slowly brushed along Danny’s cheekbone, over the wound. The blood smeared along his skin. 

“No one will ever love you like this.”

Each word stung. Each word like a drop of lemon juice to his wound. Like a grain of salt. He couldn't even find the words to say. 

“Each drop of blood, each tear you shed-” He slowly leans in close until his lips brush against Danny’s ear, “Fucking.Disgusting.” Danny cried out, “Plea-please… I-I’mm sorry sir… di-didn't mean to dis-dissapoint,” he sobbed, his hands gripping desperately at Aiden’s shirt. Please. Forgiveness. God, forgiveness. He didn't even know what he did!

Aiden scoffed before dropping Danny to the floor once more, kicking him hard in the ribs before leaving him alone in the parlour, muttering under his breath, “Fucking pathetic.”

Danny curled in on himself, his hand cupping his face as he sobbed. He was pathetic. And now- now no one was going to love him. He was lucky he had Aiden, someone who could actually love him even for how pathetic he was.

The stinging sensation never stopped throughout the night. But Danny guessed he deserved it, a constant reminder. He was lucky…
