Here’s lore and world-building I’d like to put down for a possible reboot/rework/remake/retool/redux/rewrite of Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall involving other series.
Lord Fuse has a connection to the Nothing from The Neverending Story, MultiVersus and Fortnite, as do the Void from The Amazing World of Gumball, the Darkness from Learning with Pibby: Apocalypse and the Entity from Dead by Daylight. In terms of both skill and power he outranks, outmatches and outclasses the Meta-Nanites from Generator Rex, Aku from Samurai Jack, the Omnitrix from Ben 10, the Collector and Archivists from The Owl House, the Magic from Star vs. the Forces of Evil, the Calamity Gems from Amphibia and Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls at their absolute strongest, possibly being even more powerful. His powers here instead primarily revolve around various non-elemental and non-radioactive sources with the added abilities of immortality, extreme regeneration and complete control over his body, mind and sense of self.
Now here are battles I’m interested in seeing for multimedia crossovers:
Cube Queen & Herald (Fortnite) vs. Origin/Cube King (Fortnite)
Vilgax (Ben 10 Classic) vs. Megatron (Transformers: Animated)
Reindog (MultiVersus) vs. Strike (O.K. K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes!)
Shiba Sintaro & Simone (Cannon Spike) vs. Strike (O.K. K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes!)
Chizuru Urashima, Reiji Arisu, Xiaomu, Mii Koryuji & Kogoro Tenzai (Namco x Capcom & Project X Zone) vs. Strike (O.K. K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes!)
York Neely, Miko Aiba, Troy, Lazarus, Anesha, Raizen & Augustine (Cross Edge) vs. Strike (O.K. K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes!)
Ruby Heart, Amingo & SonSon III (Marvel vs. Capcom) vs. Strike (O.K. K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes!)
Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Namine, Xion, Terra, Ventus & Aqua (Kingdom Hearts) vs. Strike (O.K. K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes!)

Goretober 6: Injection
cn: drugs/nonconsensual drugging, abuse, blackmail, syringes
The pains were flaring up. It had been over a week since Martin got his last dose of Trust, so he was already expecting it when Wiktor opened the door to his cell, a metal suitcase in hand.
“I need you on a mission.”
Martin had spent the last days telling himself he wouldn’t give in this time. He shook his head, staring down at his hands. The vertical cuts running down his forearms were inflamed again, but he couldn’t even feel it beneath the effects of the Trust. It felt like every single one of his cells were being torn apart, rearranged wrong and then welded together with flames. In a way, it felt a lot like guilt.
Wiktor sighed, annoyed. “You have an hour to think better of it. That’s the latest we can start this. After that, well, I don’t know when you’ll next have the opportunity.”
Like on command, a strong surge went through Martin’s body, a particularly nasty flare that made him topple over and twist on the floor. He forced back a scream. Blood filled his mouth from biting his tongue.
Even if he could last an hour, what would happen after that? Martin had denied Wiktor once, hoping that the withdrawal would kill him or at least render him unconscious. But Trust was binding, not freeing, and he’d been awake through all the pain. That had been months ago, though, and as his body had gotten more addicted to the drug, the withdrawal pains had become worse and worse. An hour of this would make him lose his mind. After that? Last time he had thought about begging for the dose, or at least another chance to earn it, and only barely had he been able to keep his dignity until Wiktor had come to him with another offer for a mission.
Sobbing, Martin nodded, pain rendering him mute.
A rare smirk spread on Wiktor’s lips and disappeared just as quickly, as he set down the metal case on the floor and opened it. He laid out a couple of printed pictures, a glass bottle, and a small purple rock on the floor, before he finally took out the syringe, which he proceeded to plunge into Martin’s neck.
Immediately, the pain started to dull, and then dissipated. Soon it would all be gone, at least for a while. Comfortable warmth replaced the burning heat. Martin sighed in relief.
“You’ll get the second dose once we’re in A/78-Zeta.” Wiktor typed something on his minicalc, and the shackles around Martin’s arms detached from the wall.
Martin wiped the tears from his eyes and directed his attention at the pictures in front of him. They showed a world draped in pink-and-blue clouds, with islands floating in the air, and one showed a temple made of crystal. He picked up the rock, felt it in his hand, smelled the contents of the bottle. He focused on the sensations and electricity surged through his arms, bringing a new kind of pain as the machines inside his festering flesh started working.
As he lifted his arms to open the portal, Martin couldn’t help but wonder if in some parallel world things had gone better for him. If there was still a Martin who wasn’t miserable.

compiling EVERYTHING we know about fionna and cake
NEWS: EPISODE 1 PREMIERED AT SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON. There are no known recordings of the episode as streaming it was not permitted, however you can check my newer post for some described details (minor spoilers warning but nothing too big!)
WE HAVE GOT A SECOND TRAILER!
youtube
There was also be a half hour panel about Fionna and Cake, which brought us A TRAILER WITH A RELEASE DATE OF AUGUST 31! Starting from this date til Sept 28th, we will get 2 episodes a week.
youtube
MORE UNDER THE CUT!
The show is aimed at a young adult audience
There will be 10 episodes, each with a length of 30 minutes (most likely 30 minutes *TV* time, meaning the true length will probably be around 22 minutes)
It will be about multiverse hopping
Fionna is older and has a job in a different universe where everyone is genderswapped + human
It will, supposedly, premier on CN Canada in fall, probably after all of the episodes have already been released in September.
Prismo seems to be involved, according to the trailer (he's also apparently in the intro sequence)
An older version of Finn is in it! (As seen in the trailer)
Gumlee is almost certainly going to be a thing (as confirmed by someone who worked on it)
The entire intro/opening sequence was described as "going inside Simon's psyche" and it ending with Fionna and cake jumping out of Prismo's time room. Please note we haven't seen the actual intro sequence yet, just the trailer.
Fionna has a slight outfit change, she no longer wears a skirt and has shorts instead.
Simon also appears to be older — and judging by Finn's age in the trailer, it's presumably because this will take place between Obsidian and Together Again.
The most recent plot synopsis states that Fionna and Cake will be coming to Simon for help. An earlier plot synopsis said that at some point, they would need to rescue him
The synopses also state that they team up with him to help stop a new threat to Ooo that is tracking Fionna and Cake down to try to erase their existence
As seen in the trailer, we will be getting Simon and Marcy flashbacks.
Fionna's sword in the snippet also may have something to do with Ice Thing, as it has a pretty similar design
Cake's eye color has been changed to blue
According to Tom Kenny, recording Simon's lines for this was "the most emotional thing he's ever done"
Adam Muto is returning as showrunner
Hanna K Nyström, Jack Pendarvis, and Steve Wolfhard also return for this
The credits(?) theme of the series is the song that can be heard in the trailer
According to an attendee, a middle-aged Finn also appears in one of the episodes (as learned from a clip shown at the panel, also unavailable as of right now) and also says a light swear
This is most likely in the same clip as one where Simon is fishing and accidentally catches a monster, and Finn having to save him
Rebecca Sugar has returned to write two original songs for the series
It seems like Donald Glover is returning as Marshall Lee's VA!
According to Adam Muto, this show takes place about 12 years after Come Along With Me, making both Finn and Fionna around 29+
Jake gets shown a bit in the series, most likely as a flashback
Tree Trunks also gets a bit of screentime
Lumpy Space Prince/Princess is confirmed to still be voiced by Pen Ward
Adam Muto says they they don't know what a season 2 would look like, but it wouldn't be off the table
There will be a vampire episode (which will probably be where Marceline comes in)
The unknown enemy of the series might be the unfamiliar face we can see in this poster, between Marceline and Ice King:
Tumblr media
NOTE AS OF THE NEW TRAILER: I will not be updating this post anymore. If I have any theories surrounding the new stuff we saw, I will be putting those into a separate post. The show premieres in 2 weeks!

Hey everyone guess who has a new Instagram account for Cartoon Network infographics! The newest one is about the overall continuity of Cartoon Network programming and how the Cartoon Network canon predates the network itself. I will probably repost a few more of these on here eventually but here's a preview of the page for now
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is there a Cartoon Network Multiverse?
The short answer is most likely. The long answer takes a little history. Cartoon Network was originally established to house the Hanna-Barbera library of animated series. Hanna-Barbera cartoons already had an established history of multi series continuity that predates CN, so likewise this continuity followed the shows onto the network.
This HB animated canon was established over a long history of crossovers. There's honestly enough of theses crossovers to be slightly overwhelming so here's three examples to jump off from if you are interested in diving into the older series
Space Ghost (1967) (Council of Doom arc) (The last 2 Space Ghost episodes (six segments), were dedicated to introducing series that were following after Space Ghost in production including The Herculoids, Mighty Mightor, and Shazzan)
The New Scooby-Doo Movies (1972) (This series is known for its guest stars, and this includes characters from other HB produced series; Josie and the Pussycats, Jeannie, and Speed Buggy)
Yogi’s Gang (1973) (Contains 20 different series worth of characters including Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound and Wally Gator fighting the likes of Dr.Bigot and sutch)
These series are three of the dozens of crossovers HB characters that existed before there was even a Cartoon Network.
When Cartoon Network was established, and eventually introduced its own series, at first it was implied these series were part of the older countuity. For instance Dexter's lab had a crossover with Dynomutt and The Blue Falcon, while Space Ghost and Birdman both cameo in an episode of The Powerpuff Girls.
Around the second half of CN G1, Cartoon Network shows started to move away from the prime HB timeline and focused more on individual series being self contained, however the crossovers never really slowed down, with a large amount of crossover material including; Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, the Cartoon Network City bumpers, Fusion Fall, Crossover Nexus, Punch Time Explosion, and even an upcoming (as of publishing) episode of Jellystone
HB being a multiverse in particular was already established by at least the 1980s in “Space Stars”, in with the “Teen Force” characters regularly and casually traveling between alternative dimensions, but continues to today with CN works like “Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake”, which goes into detail about the logistics of Adventure Time’s central multiverse, and, by extension Cartoon Network’s larger multiverse as a whole. There's even a very telling “The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack” cameo.

Desperately gnawing on the concept of a universe-swap fic where Batman winds up with Jokester and Joker winds up with Owlman...
CN: violence, smut, violent smut insinuated, dubcon insinuated
Batman doesn’t trust Jokester at first - how can he? But the more he learns about the other universe and his counterpart, the more he understands. The more he believes. The more he starts to let himself feel what he’s never allowed himself to feel.
After all, is Jokester not what he’s always searched for? A light within the monstrous dark; a beacon of hope on which Batman has burnt himself so many times, he’s almost given up and doused the flames? A sign that not even the Joker is irredeemable in every iteration of this world?
But if that’s true, then the Owlman must be a sign that Batman is far from uncorruptable, too.
Jokester is as much of a flirt as the man he replaced, albeit with significantly less blood on his hands. He teases, he pushes. Batman can’t help but fall.
Far away, in another world, Joker gnaws his cheeks raw and gnashes his teeth, because he knows - he just knows - that his Bat would love that snivelling, pathetic, defanged version of himself, who gets all squeamish about murder and maiming and - ugh, oh, isn’t he just an embarrassment to every other Joker in the multiverse?
Why, the thought that his first time with the Bat might be stolen by that purple-haired little trollop is almost as offensive as it’s hilarious.
But if Batman is honking the wrong clown’s horn, why shouldn’t Joker have some fun of his own, huh? Especially since the big, bad Bat - no, Owl - of this world really puts the emphasis on the ‘bad’. He doesn’t bother with all those silly silly morals that hold Joker and Batman apart. He rules Gotham with an iron fist, and Joker can’t wait to get it around his throat.
#
And thus, for a while, on both sides of the divide, everything feels exactly as it should be.
But it’s not long before the cracks begin to show.
#
Batman buries his fingers in purple hair when he kisses his partner at the end of each patrol. He feels the soft curls tangling in the heavy, armoured joints of his gloves, the warmth of the mouth against his, the acid scars and the strange, mutated smoothness of Jokester’s skin. And every time, he shuts his eyes and tries not to think of green.
#
One night, hungry for a dance, Joker nicks a bunch of chemicals from the mansion’s bathroom and blows one wing of the house sky-high. But when the caped crusader of Gotham pummels him into the floor (and then the bed) in punishment, mouth tight with fury under his cowl, his cloak is white, not black.
When Joker calls him Brucie, Owlman sneers and tells him Bruce Wayne is dead. A heavy collar clicks shut around Joker’s neck as he laughs and laughs and laughs until it’s almost screaming.
#
One night, Jokester takes Batman up to the roof of the tallest skyscraper in Gotham - one of Wayne Enterprises’, of course. He gazes out over a cityscape so familiar, yet so different. So twisted in such alien ways.
“Well,” he says, in that acid-scratch voice, like he’s been gargling with bleach. “This has been swell, partner. 10/10 on Trip Advisor, for sure. But it’s been a long staycation, and I’m not the only one who’s been thinking of home, sweet home.”
Bruce’s brows furrow beneath the cowl until they match Batman’s permanent black rubber frown. “What do you mean? This is my home, right here.”
The look Jokester shoots him is rather too knowing. For a moment, in the distorted glare of the reflected city lights, his green jacket almost looks purple.
Bruce’s tongue works dryly against his throat as he swallows. “It could be your home, too.”
Jokester pats his cheek, drawing back along the thin ledge that separates the roof from the empty night sky. “I bet you say that to all the clowns...”
“I’m serious. You don’t have to go back.”
Gotham - his Gotham - is so much better now. No more Joker gas. No more regular mass-murders or breakouts from Arkham. No more monthly birthday presents.
Batman still feels that strange tightening in his abdomen when the end of the month approaches. He used to think it was worry about what mayhem Joker would wreak next.
Now he’s not so sure.
“What about my world?” the Jokester wants to know. “Ol’ Owlie’s gonna find plenty of entertainment with my worse half, for sure - but just think of the mess I’ll have to clean when I get back!” He flashes his dark-painted nails. “This manicure is not made for housework, I’m afraid.”
Batman reaches out, but Jokester dances away so his hand closes on air rather than his arm, windmilling his arms with pantomimed clumsiness, the toes of his dress shoes slipping against the roof’s edge, like he couldn’t balance along a tightrope as easily as Selina.
“I don’t want you to go back.”
Jokester goes still, balance perfect despite his ungainly pose, then slowly resettles on the balls of his feet, hands dropping to his sides. His face is all familiar marble lines. Bruce knows them so well he could sculpt him with his eyes shut - but he’s never seen this particular expression on his Joker.
Regret.
“I want to go back,” he murmurs, and it strikes Batman suddenly, guiltily, that maybe he isn’t the only one who’s bit his tongue at the point of climax to keep the wrong name from spilling out.
There’s little more to say, after that. Perhaps Bruce should fight harder to convince Jokester to say. He should definitely fight harder to convince himself that’s the outcome he wants.
But he doesn’t.
#
He takes the world-swap project off hold, and within a week he has a working prototype. He kisses Jokester one last time, as they wait for the machine to power up. It’s a goodbye. It’s a thank you. It’s a silent, soft understanding - one neither of them will get from anyone else (already, the rest of the Batfam, who had grudgingly begun to welcome a purple-haired clown at their table, have evacuated the house and fled for their respective corners of the city).
Batman will miss them. Hell, he’ll miss him. As he curls his arms around Jokester’s body - the body he’s sending back to face a version of himself built from Bruce’s deepest desires and his compounded nightmares - tilting him back, deepening the kiss, he wonders if he’s making the worst mistake of his life.
But then, his mouth fills with the hot wash of blood. The spidery hands on his shoulders tense into claws, nails scraping sharp across the Kevlar plates. The machine’s hum reaches its crescendo. The lights flicker, then dim. Sparks burst from a console; something, somewhere, goes Zzzzzzp. The world tilts ten degrees starboard, then realigns like it’s settling after a wave, and the clown in Bruce’s embrace is suddenly all edges rather than soft compliance.
There’s a moment where that thin, rangy form winds tight like he might bolt or bite. But he only draws back far enough to slap Bruce across the face. Hard.
Bruce jerks, pain exploding through his right ear. “Ow?”
“Ow?” Joker rages. “Ow? Took you long enough! What’s the matter - you decided you prefer the grape flavor, over lime?”
He looks incredible. Vicious green eyes and knife-sharp bones and fists balled so tight at his sides they very-almost quiver. The springy curls wrapped around the fingers of Batman’s gauntlets are green. As they’re supposed to be.
He also looks terrible. Black eyes, hunched posture like he’s cracked a rib or five. Bruises everywhere Batman can see. Blood, too. Clothes in tatters, his acrid scent muddied with burnt mortar and singed hair. Like he’s been running, fighting, running again, for a very long time. Chased and caught and chased and caught over and over, a mouse beneath the paw of a cat.
Just like he’s always wanted, right? A nemesis who loves the dance as much as he.
“I honestly figured you were enjoying yourself,” Batman admits.
Joker huffs, crossing his spindly arms. “I was. Other-you - although he’s not other-you for your flesh mask, by the way? Just to make things more confusing! He’s a riot. Same stoic straight-man to my clowning routine. Same willingness to demonstrate that straight-man really ain’t the best description. But he’s completely absent of a moral compass! No more Joker, you can’t do that, or Joker, stop before you hurt anyone else, or Joker, won’t you think of the children?” Joker clasps his hands to his chest with a dreamy sigh. “Oh, why would I ever want to leave?”
Why indeed?
Batman’s gaze clings to the white metal collar wrapping Joker’s neck. He’s never gone quite that far before. Just as Joker hadn’t gone quite as far with him as Jokester had - straddling Bruce on the mussed sheets of his penthouse King-Size, riding him fast then slow. Panting, whining, dragging Bruce’s hand to feel that slick, hot, perfect point of connection where he stretched his clown out on his cock. Leaning forward to catch him in a kiss, purple curls tickling Bruce’s cheeks...
Batman tries not to dwell on that. Like he tries not to dwell on the nauseating coil of hot and cold, intrigue and repulsion, that wraps as tightly around his guts as that collar on Joker’s throat.
“Sometimes,” he says, as the lights slowly buzz back to full, illuminating the interior of one of the many abandoned warehouses at the edge of the docks, “we get what we wished for. Only to realize...”
He trails off, unsure how to finish. But Joker breaks into a beam that has no right to look so gleeful, with so much blood caked to his face. Although, at a closer look, Batman reckons only half of it’s his.
Joker left a scar on his counterpart. The thought sparks a strange marriage of envy and pride.
“That what we wanted was right beside us all along?” Joker chirps, batting his eyelashes. “My, Mr Batman B. Wayne! Is this where you get down on one knee?” He holds out one slender hand, like he’s showing off a ring. Or the knot at the knuckle of his ring finger, where the bone has been pulled from the joint and twisted abnormally to the side, no doubt while escaping cuffs. “Pick any stone but amethyst.”
Batman still doesn’t know if he’s walking the right path. Should he have insisted that Jokester stay for Gotham’s sake, while letting the other world burn? Or just that the Jokester stay for his own sake, so he won’t be delivered into the waiting arms of a monster like the Owlman?
But Batman’s monster is right here.
“I’m taking you back to Arkham,” he says, burying his fist in Joker’s collar, tugging him out the warehouse and towards the idling car. Then, when Joker pouts - evidently too injured, too exhausted, to put up much of a fight - “After we visit the cave, and get that thing off your neck.”
That perks Joker up; he trots the rest of the way to the car and plonks himself in the passenger seat while Batman enables the prisoner controls. Once there, he leans back against the headrest, stretching out the long, lean line of his throat. His skin is rudely white against the shadows. Like something cut from paper, or bone.
“Why? Wanna replace it with one of your own?”
He laughs when Batman fumbles the wrong button, sending out a loud blare of police radio static. The cackle is high and ugly and utterly, inescapably him.
Batman basks in it. Then he slams the correct button, tough fabric restraints wrapping around Joker’s chest and pinning him tight to the chair. He settles into the driver’s seat while Joker’s still sniggering and roars away as the warehouse bursts into flame, erasing all evidence of their collision between worlds - except that which lives on in the memories of one bat, one owl, and two clowns.

Did the Special ever say how Hesperus found out about the multiverse? In the opening scene he and Alya are looking at footage from the main universe and he makes Ubiquity to seek out LB and CN’s help. But how’d they get that footage?

Hi wackus have you heard about the new multiverse special Shadybug and Claw Noir that releases in November?
Personally I can't wait to see it as an evil Lb and Cn is always something I've wanted to see for years.
In my pov i see them as not really complete alternate versions but the worst aspects of their personality taken to the extreme, like they've suffered through things our Adrien and Mari did but were unable to overcome them and kind of snapped midway, but that's just my view what's yours?
I HAVE HEARD ABOUT IT OMG! EVIL LADYNOIR!!!!!!
Tumblr media
🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 I'M SO FRIKIN EXCITED 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
here's my theory. i don't really think they're gonna be like, evil evil. their costumes are too silly for that and the show has usually made villain character design very subtle and nondescript, like gabriel's s5 all-white suit, tomoe's traditional cheongsam & culottes thing, and lila's little middle school girl outfit. toxinelle and griffe noir are having way too much fun with their costumes, making me believe they only look evil on the outside.
as to what could have led to them becoming "villains," hm. what i'd LIKE to think is that...they know things 👀 they know things, they're rebelling, and it only looks like they're on the bad side bc they're trying to get the butterfly miraculous (?) but like...knowing what we know now, why wouldn't they? it's the two of them against the world, as always, so my best guess is that the world is against them in this universe. and ladynoir are sticking together bc they're partners and besties and totally and completely in love.

Tricolor Dragon
Tumblr media
Image © @tredlocity
[Sponsored by @crazytrain48. Originally called the “rainbow dragon”, when it’s only red white and blue. The “rainbow dragon” originates after Arduin had gone from “David Hargrave’s homebrew D&D” to “David Hargrave’s replacement D&D”, and after the publication of the original AD&D Monster Manual. I wonder if, therefore, a multiheaded, multicolored dragon that’s not very smart is supposed to be an homage/parody of Tiamat. The sponsor wanted me to work some Tiamat reference into the text despite her not being PF canon (as a five headed super chromatic dragon; thanks @strawberry-crocodile for pointing out that primal saltwater goddess Tiamat does exist), and I was happy to oblige.
Also, is the art great or what? Tred consistently nails that cartoony high fantasy feeling I associate with Arduin.]
Tricolor Dragon CR 10 CN Dragon This dragon has red white and blue scales—the red is most common on the body, the white on the wings and the blue on the head. One of its heads has red accents in the form of its horns and beard, one of its heads has white accents, and the third blue. Each head bears a different expression.
A tricolor dragon is a strange cross between multiple types of chromatic dragons and hydras. Their origins are unknown. Hypotheses range from wild magic to fleshwarping, or even as an homage to a multiheaded dragon god from another multiverse. Few tricolor dragons care much to inquire, and individual heads may even disagree among themselves. Each head of a tricolor dragon has a slightly different personality—white heads tend to be the most hedonistic, blue the most logical and red the most self-assured. Tricolor dragons are despised by chromatic dragons in general, and their counterpart colors especially. Red dragons disdain them for their stupidity, blue dragons see them as dangerously reckless, and white dragons especially are jealous of their magical prowess.
Although tricolor dragons are slightly stupid by human standards, they have very strong personalities and an inherent gift for magic. They can speak all languages reflexively and even cast multiple spells at once by using multiple heads, although this is tiring and the dragons can’t do so too frequently. Each head has a different breath weapon, with the color of the head corresponding to the element type. They typically rotate between breath weapons, but if sorely pressed, the tricolor dragon can use all three at once. And if they run out of magic tricks, they still have the physique and natural weapons of a dragon. They are slower in the air than true dragons of their size, but much more maneuverable.
Tricolor dragons are very curious about magic, although they tend to have too short of attention spans for real serious study. Most tricolor dragons spent their time enjoying their hoards, lazing about in freshwater, or simply talking to themselves. They are especially fond of elves, and do not discriminate between alignments or lineages in this case (which can result in either conflicts or reconciliations between surface elves and drow). They care little about coinage; a tricolor dragon prefers quantity to quality, and will gladly trade a small pile of gold for a larger one of copper. Magic items, however, they covet, and stealing even a minor wand or spell scroll from a tricolor dragon is a sure way to make an enemy for life.
Tricolor dragons are good parents, and mother and father raise their children together. Family ties are important to tricolor dragons, and adult children may visit their parents for extended periods (although this is usually accompanied by good-natured bickering).

I'm forever so mad that multiversus is a fucking. ready player one game. game for guys who make knowing what a multiverse is their entire personality. game for guys who collect funko pops and those ugly kidrobot plushies. I remember thinking the idea of a smash bros type game but with cartoon network characters and like stuff that aired on cn like dc superheroes & loony tunes was such a cool idea but instead it had to be space jam 2 the game complete with random celebrity cameos random pop culture characters that don't make any sense being there and any possibility for coolness and fun interactions with the characters being tossed aside in favor of half the cast being overly smug and sarcastic and the other half shouting random quotes from their source material

Note
Have you seen Multiversus, they added the ppg as a playable character and the rrb. They got all the original voice actors even did a ship tease
I didn't know! I couldn't tell you anything about the multiverse or what it is. But how cute!
It's kind of crazy how long CN will keep a cartoon going lol

BALITANG ENTERTAINMENT: 'Adventure Time' animated spin-off series 'Fionna and Cake' renewed Season 2, develops new animated film teased at the 2024 'Annecy Festival' in France
Tumblr media
LYON, FRANCE -- Cartoon Network Studios (CNS) was reportedly announced at the '2024 Annecy Festival' last Wednesday afternoon (June 12th, 2024 -- France local time) that both new properties of 'Adventure Time' returns with a new streaming television spin-off series and the animated film.
In an exclusive report by Variety, CNS officially greenlighted as doubled for Season 2 of 'Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake' with 10 new episodes, and followed by a new film of 'Adventure Time: The Movie' which both of them today, are currently in the works. The 2nd new season features 'Fionna Campbell' the Human, who is a main spin-off female protagonist and gender-swapped version of 'Finn Mertens' the Human continues with new adventures in her sidekick pet 'Cake' the Cat.
'Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake' Season 2 picks up right after the events of Season 1 last year in the late-August 2023, serving more of its already captive multiverse-hopping journey for both teens and adults. American video-streaming service 'Max' under Warner Brothers-Discovery (WBD) secured its streaming rights for the aforementioned spin-off cartoon show.
Meanwhile on the other hand, a newly-developed animated film to be headlining with 'Rebecca Rea Sugar', 'Patrick Nolen McHale', and a showrunner himself of 'Adventure Time' named Mr. Adam A. Muto are taking part of the new film franchise. These ongoing projects are part of Warner Bros. Discovery's Chief Executive Officer named David M. Zaslav's strategy to focus on popular Intellectual Properties (IPs) and revisiting the 'Land of OOO' with more 'Adventure Time' content aligns perfectly with this new plan.
The release date of Season 2, as well with a new animated film have not been announced yet during this year's French festival, and is expected to arrive sometime to stream online in the Fall of 2024 or potentially next year in 2025. There is more to discover at a later time, in and outside the universe of 'Land of OOO'.
You can relive and binge all your favorites with 'Adventure Time'. All episodes are streaming now on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+. While 'Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake' are also available to stream exclusively on Max in the United States of America (U.S.A.), as the 2nd Season awaits when Fionna Campbell and Finn Mertens comes along with you.
