tried my hand at making a ladybug redesign
#ft ms paint cause my ipad is dead#i know that pretty much all of the miraculous holders suits are skintight#idk why maybe because it fits the image of an acrobat or something?#but i thought it would be cool to try something different#i was adamant on including the puffy shorts to make her figure look round like a real ladybug#i was basing it off of a very old garden ornament my grandma has thats shaped like a cartoon ladybug#so i tried to include that plus the transparent wings so her cape(?) is the elytra that goes over it#and i got that from the streetle in mariokart bc apparently when you do a cool jump its elytra opens up and i thought thats neat#the funny bumps on her torso are supposed to look like the abdomen or like the part underneath the wings with the lines on the body#and i moved up her ponytails so that way the ribbons kind of resemble the actual antennae#i want her antennae to be expressive like chat's so they can like change direction or bend to fit her mood#and i hc her elytra can vibrate and make a buzzing noise if she's annoyed or if she's cold#oh yeah!!! and the dots above her eyes are white like ladybugs and they kind of resemble eyebrows like rena rouge#my art#myart#miraculous ladybug#ladybug fanart#fanart#ml#ml fanart#ml ladybug#marinette dupain cheng#miraculous#mlb#doodles
