CBSE 12th Result 2021 Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE 12th Result 2021 today at cbseresults.nic.in. Students can check the individual score cards now. The exam was scheduled to be held in May but was cancelled due to surge in COVID-19 cases. This year, the CBSE 12th results have been prepared in an alternative way as board exams could not be held this year due to surge in COVID-19 cases. The board had adopted an alternative assessment scheme to finalise the result.

Using CBSE roll number finder, students can get their roll numbers. This year students have not been issued admit cards as exams were not held. Therefore students do not know their roll number.

CBSE 12th result would be hosted on multiple platforms so that students can check their results conveniently. Students can check the result at UMANG, DigiLocker, SMS Organiser and DigiResults.

CBSE Class 12th Result 2021: How to check marks

This year, 99.37 pass percentage has been recorded which is nearly 10 per cent higher than previous year’s 88.8 per cent. In 2019, it was 83.4 per cent. As many as 65,184 students have not received their results today as their result are still being processed. CBSE will announce their result on August 5.

The senior secondary exam results have been declared based on an alternative marking scheme after the central government decided to cancel CBSE Class 12 board exams due to the coronavirus outbreak. As per the board’s 40:30:30 formula for evaluation of marks of class 12 students, students will be assessed based on their class 12, class 11 and class 10 marks.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Thursday told the Delhi High Court that the evaluation policy for this year's Class 10th board examination has been prepared keeping in mind that no school should be able to do injustice with the students and marks be awarded based on the learning.

The board said responsibility has been given to the ‘result committee' to ensure just, fair and reliable result and a similar policy with extended liberty has been prepared in Class-12th policy which has already been approved by the Supreme Court.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, class 10th exams were cancelled by the board and an evaluation policy was formulated to evaluate students this year.

The CBSE's counsel submitted before a bench of Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh that there was no illegality in taking reference of previous year's result of class 10th of a school in order to maintain standardization in the result.

ICSE Board Latest News On Class 10 and 12 Exams.

Following the CBSE’s decision to cancel and postpone the classes 10, 12 exams respectively, the Council For The Indian School Certificate Examination has postponed the ICSE class 10 and class 12 exams. As per the now-scrapped schedule, the ICSE Class X exams were scheduled to be held between May 4th & June 7th, 2021, and Class XII examinations were to be conducted between April 8th and June 18th. ICSE board has decided to postpone the Class X and XII examinations in view of the Covid-19 surge. The fresh dates for the examination are expected to be issued in June.

ICSE-EXAMS-cancelled: Meanwhile, last year, the board exams were canceled, and students were evaluated on the basis of internal assessment. As per the scheme, candidates were evaluated based on the best three subjects percentage marks for which board exams were held, and also on their internal assessment, project work marks.

The decision was taken in view of the increase in COVID-19 cases in the country. States like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan are the worst hit by the pandemic. Registering a steady increase for the 35th day in a row, India recorded 1,84,372 new cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the total tally of cases to 1,38,73,825, while the active cases surpassed the 13-lakh mark. The death toll increased to 1,72,085 with 1,027 new fatalities, the highest since October 18, last year.

Schools have been shut down in 11 states due to the second wave of the pandemic. For many classes, schools have not reopened since the initial shutdown of March 2020. At least four State education boards scheduled to hold examinations in April have announced the postponement.

Due to rising COVID-19 Cases in Pune, CBSE 12th Exams 2021 have been postponed & now they are rescheduled to begin from 4th May 2021. But the parents and students are requesting to cancel board exams.

Further, many entrance examinations like the JEE, NEET, CET etc., and other professional exams have also been postponed. On another side, the Government of Maharashtra has decided to promote the students from classes 1st to 8th without conducting exams; It is just because of “Health first exams next.” While exams are not cancelled and no coaching classes in Pune, the students have fears in their minds as to when the board examinations or entrance exams will happen?

The schools, colleges, institutes, and best CBSE coaching classes in Pune got shut down due to which they are feeling anxious, depressed, low energy, and worried about; will a year be lost? · Parents should allow their children to talk openly by expressing their feelings without any pressure or hesitations. Also, parents should not compare their children with their friends and motivate them to go ahead.

· At the coaching institute for IIT-JEE, well-qualified faculties ensure that each student is capable and eligible to crack the competitive examinations.

· As of now, the students who are appeared for the 10th and 12th exams should only revise the syllabus and appear for online tests which can clarify their confusion in planning future stream.

· While getting prepared, the students should also discuss their syllabus with their friends over a call that will help them to clear doubts and learn more.

· Apart from this, the students should practice time management skills to be productive in this situation like making a habit of studying at least 4-5 hours daily.

· The students should also practice positive self-talk that will help them to remove anxiety, negative thoughts, and self-doubt.

· The students should avoid taking the stress and spend this summer holidays with their parents by playing indoor games, watching television (IPL 2021), learning new skills/language online, reading books, etc.

· The students and their parents should do exercise or yoga for a physical as well as mental stability that will help them to relieve stress and feel better. The students can listen to soft and instrumental music that will help them to feel calm and relax.
