Randomly had the idea of, in the far, far flung future, Atlus releases like, Persona 17 or something, and I keep coming up with random absurd things about the game (and other things for this bizarre world where new Persona games never stop coming out)

P17's main color is light beige, they used up all the colorful colors by Persona 15

The main concept for P17's "other world" is based on some obscure, loose metaphor a psychologist used for the human subconscious one time, they had ran out of smart, semi-sensical metaphors by like, Persona 10

^ A friend of mine suggested that the "other world" be sandwich themed because a totally real psychologist compared the layers of mental instability to the layers of a sandwich (and to make the excuse that the main color represents the bread)

There are like 17 Social Stats to increase, they can only be ranked up like once or twice each, but doing it for all of them is tough, especially since you don't know which you'll need to unlock what

They've made so many Personas based on mythology and fictional creatures and the like, that Altus started coming up with their own mythologies just so they could base more Personas off them

There are Social Links / Confidants for every tarot card arcana ever made, but they still needed more Social Links / Confidants, so Atlus had to start making up their own arcanas

P17 actually takes place over the course of 2-3 years, otherwise you wouldn't have enough time to complete all the content even at max efficiency

There are like 32 magic affinities / elements, and like 14 physical ones, each party member commonly specializes in 2-3 magic affinities / elements, as well as a different physical affinity / element

The mascot character is like, an aardvark or something, it has no relation to anything in the game and it's kinda obvious that Atlus is just running out of popular animals to make into mascots

By popular demand, the P17 protag is finally bisexual, have fun trying to date all 50+ romance-able characters in the game, you asked for this

A deluxe version with even more content somehow is in development, get ready for Persona 17 Toasted a couple years after P17 releases

Speaking of rereleases, "Reload"s of previous Persona games have become somewhat of a standard, Altus has said Persona 13 Regrown (P13 is plant-themed) is nearing completion

There are rumors that P17 will have a spin-off that plays like a 3D Collect-a-Thon Platformer, mostly because it's one of the few genres of games the Persona series hasn't tried out in a spin-off yet

On the topic of spin-offs, the Persona Q games have lost their goddamn mind, each game still includes the groups from all of the previous Persona games as well as the group from the most recent Persona game at the time, Q14 literally has like over a hundred party members you can use, it's insanity

"Sorry to interrupt boss but Mario wants to meet at his bar, Gepeto's, in 30 instead of tomorrow," said Barnaby before walking out of the room with his pipe in hand. "That is M/n Novell, his best friend with Gepeto over there and when I bought the bar he was part of the deal and I decided to keep him around since the few times cops stopped by he was all the motivation for them to turn a blind eye...," said Mario while smiling and motioned M/n to go where he was since his song just finished. While he walked over there with grace a guy gave him a black rose before kissing his hand and walking away.

M/n threw the flower on the floor and stepped in it before stopping in front of Mario who smiled and pointed towards Wally to which M/n sighted and sat down on his lap which made Wally blush a bright red color.

"I don't have your money yet Mr. Darling but I should get your payment in two days time and if you are kind enough to wait Mr. Novell here will be willing and able to do anything you want," said Mario which made M/n stand up abruptly and pick Mario by the shirt before turning to Wally and smile.

"We will be right back," said M/n before walking away while dragging Mario by the back of his shirt and Mario seemed scared. To say Wally was confused was and understatement but soon Mario came back with a very obvious slap mark in his cheek and he stuttered when he spoke again while M/n walked towards back stage to prepare for another song.

"Sorry for that miscommunication, tomorrow I will have your money," said Mario while slightly shaking and Wally raised his eyebrow before getting up and leaving. He didn't understand a word of what happened but all he knows is he coming back to that club just to see their devilish handsome singer.

Been playing a lot of persona 5 (on the new game plus now) so why not combine my interests.

Throws Ingo and Emmet as Justine and Caroline at you (lovingly)

It was fun combining the two outfits, I decided to split the coat similar to jokers because I felt it would suit them better in this context.

C+Js’ attire felt very formal to me which (imo) the OG submas suit sleeves didn’t exactly fit. So instead I removed the… idk what to call it… big… cartoon circular sleeves but kept the idea of their Original sleeve ends by rolling up the suit sleeves ends. I also did some small things like lengthening the tie similar to OG submas.

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to give them trousers or the shorts. When I drew them in the shorts i found it too funny not to remove. (They pull it off. Maybe with some of their legs out they’ll be less pale (￣∀￣))

For why I decided ingo to be Justine and emmet to be Caroline? The most basic reason. Caroline’s more expressive than Justine (from what I’ve seen during my playthrough(s)) like I said. Basic reason.

Would you agree that between c!dream and c!punz, c!punz seems to be the more crueler. I was talking to another blog about it, and we spoke about the final lore streams where c!punz didnt care about c!clingys problems, most notably c!tommy almost taking his own life in exile (but then again he is desensitized to death cuz revival book lol) But, c!punz was the one to stick to the revival book plan near the end while c!dream opened up and showed vulnerability. I have seen a lot of fics characterize c!punz as being the one to be more softer and less inclined to hurt others for a goal, but after seeing the final streams I can't help but feel like its the other way around. I'm really curious on your take about it, and its fine if you disagree. Also really love your blog, you seem like such a kind person :)

Hmm ok well here are my thoughts on the matter at the moment, however as I rewatch more lore I might change my opinion.

Well in regards to c!Punz not caring about clingy duo’s problems, you’re assuming he hasn’t heard it before. We don’t know if thats new information, it’s possible c!Dream told him about the tower. In fact, since he was often still apart of the smp and conversations going on it’s very likely he’s heard a lot of what they said already. He’s a spy after all, it’s his job to know things.

Secondly, it’d be very hard to be empathetic to someone about themselves almost killing themself over a year ago when they just broke into the prison and murdered his friend. The revive book and such has clearly corrupted both of their empathies seen in their experiments. So, c!Punz already has a lack of empathy or at least is desensitized, the last person I’d expect him to sympathize with would be his enemy, especially when clingy duo weren’t really hearing what he had to say. I mean it’s insulting to be ignored after lying and hiding for so long and finally be able to share your opinion, but also the fact that clingy duo (and others) really thought he was cold enough to betray his friend for a measly amount of money to the point they question when it turns out to be fake. I mean that’s pretty offensive.

On that note though, it is also important to point out that those conversations in the finale are in his ‘evil role persona’ just like c!Dream he’s playing a part - one of the greedy mercenary just in this case for power. So if he seems cruel that’s intentional. Though I will say, he does give c!Tubbo and c!Tommy plenty of steak when they ask, which does say something, with this being c!Dream’s response:

“Wow, being humane. You could have waited.” And “don’t give him more, don’t give him more” [5:50]

And most importantly, I think that because we don’t get to see c!Punz break down like c!Dream the assumption is that even though it turns out c!Dream just didn’t want to be alone, c!Punz is still power hungry. But I think that’s a little unfair to c!Punz because it’s not like we saw him vulnerably be opened up like that, so is it fair to say he still has the stated goals. I talk about this a little more here [post]. What he does say in that conversation isn’t about power but about friendship. When Tommy is dissecting c!Dream c!Punz remarks on it:

“What can you just read minds now? are you just a mind reader—you knew it like—What?” [clip]

And this could probably be taken different ways, but given how he goes quiet whenever c!Dream wants to talk and seems to defend him in their conversation I see it more as like a - don’t put words into his mouth sort of thing. And because c!Tommy and people kinda do that it makes sense for c!Punz to be on guard for it. And there’s the comment about him being c!Dream’s friend. [clip]

In the less performative moments in the ending finale, c!Punz isn’t cutting in with something about power but about friendship and having c!Dream’s back. So I’m of the opinion more so that c!Punz was c!Dream’s friend, c!Dream became afraid and obsessed with death, and c!Punz stayed by his side, getting corrupted along with him. If it was about the Plan and power for c!Punz, I think he would’ve said different things like arguing with c!Dream about his goal and stuff. And there’s not really a lot of evidence to say c!Punz would’ve stayed by the plan had things not ended (though we shall never know for certain). But I think while it’s a common assumption to make, I think it’s a little unfair to say c!Punz was all just for the plan because we don’t hear him get fully vulnerable.

So given that, no I don’t think c!Punz is particularly crueler. But I do think he would do things c!Dream wouldn’t. While c!Dream is run by rational thoughts, c!Punz seems to be more emotional so (as expressed in my fics) I could totally see him going for violent revenge on behalf of his friendship with c!Dream. Perhaps then that makes him crueler? But I guess it would depend on your perspective of cruel, I suppose I was seeing cruel in this context as heartless, which I don’t think c!Punz is. In other words, he is wholesome to c!Dream, but everyone who wronged him better watch out. (I mean think about the scene of c!Punz leading c!Tommy and c!Tubbo down the stairs enraged by them killing c!Dream and him suggesting c!Purpled and c!Dream tie c!Quackity to a chair and torture him.)

Akechi hardly gives you a lot of physical affection since he's typically busy. You get praise and he's honest with his feelings, but not a lot of physical affection.

So he is a tad surprised that you move out of the way when he's going to give you a kiss. Akechi stares at you for a bit and for a split second he thinks he did something wrong or you're hiding something from him and don't want kisses. But he notices the small smile on your face and rolls his eyes.

He does try to give you another kiss before he leaves and narrows his eyes when you avoid that kiss too. Can't help a scoff at whatever game you're playing. You move to try and hug him at least and he gives a pleasant smile and avoids your hug as he leaves for work.

You wanted to start this game of yours, so he'll play it too. You see him at lunch and when he gets a break, you and him hang out again. And the whole time he's avoiding any kind of physical affection that you try to give him. Doesn't even try giving you kisses now until you admit defeat.

When he gets home from work, annoyed with his superiors and the fact that he hasn't had any kind of love from you, well he's quick to call you over and tell you that he's tired of this game you're playing. Is much more pleased when you do sit down with him and pepper his face with kisses.

Iwai

Also not an overly affectionate person, but always kisses you before he goes to work. His job can be dangerous and he don't know what bullshit the police could come up with to bring him in or what yakuza buddies he might see that could bring trouble.

But you avoid the kiss he wants to give you and he stares at you for a moment. Will ask you if you're sick or something and you just smile up at him and shake your head. Iwai goes to kiss you again, but you dodge out of the way and he rolls his eyes.

You visit Iwai at work during the day and Iwai tries to kiss you again when no one is in the store. Iwai never engages in affection when you're at his store. You almost forget your game at his actions, but still move aside.

Some regulars call Iwai out throughout the day of seeming grumpier than usual, to which he states that he's not grumpy and for them to hurry up and get out. At home, Iwai is still grumpy and doesn't even try to give you affection. Obviously you don't want it for some reason and he's not going to pester you.

It isn't until he's sitting down that you approach him and give him a kiss to the cheek. That causes him to raise an eyebrow and ask if you're done being childish now. You give him a grin and attack his face with kisses. You have to wear a scarf or something for all the bite marks your neck has the next day.

Maruki

He wanted to give you a kiss to your cheek before he left for work. Was a bit surprised when you took a few steps to the side instead. Maruki definitely pouts a bit. But at least you give him a hug.

Maruki is at school and humming and overthinking about why you avoided his kiss. Maybe this is like one of those TikTok trends his students talk about?

You visit him at lunch and he's happy to see you and ready to kiss you again. But you avoid his kisses again. You make some excuse about someone seeing and he pouts more.

That night he gets home and wants to just relax and kiss you and you still don't let him. Maruki lets out a sigh and asks if he did something wrong or if you're doing okay and that's why you're avoiding him.

At his sad face, you do give in and tell him what you've been playful and that's why you're avoiding his kisses. Maruki was so pouty at not kissing you that he didn't even notice you were being silly. He can't help a chuckle as he realizes his silliness. Thankfully you're quick to make things better by having him sit down and just peppering his face in kisses.

I'm very happy to hear you're enjoying yourself despite my own low opinion about much of what I put out. I'll do my best to answer!

Hmm I always dislike picking favorites because I'm bad at picking eheh... But the ones I liked most... I honestly enjoy T&I and COA (1-5) even more than the main story. So I think I might pick... Atropos' Ropes for T&I and for COA, thats harder... 3-5 are my faves but I might pick 4 just because of how it felt it had the most story/details given than all the rest. Even the *SONG* had story. I loved it.

Least fave, eh... Orfeo and Zinaida immediately come to mind, though Orfeo I'd say was worse... COA 1 is another primarily because of how DIFFICULT it was for me to figure it out enough to put together an analysis. And I had to rewrite that thing at LEAST 3 times to the point I'm just hoping it's good enough and leaving it alone. Time of Reunion I think is another that comes to mind, mainly because I didn't appreciate how they treated Norton in there, especially in the videos (but at least those aren't canon like the in-game event was). So based on all that, I might say Orfeo if I really had to pick 1. Then rank ToR 2nd and Zinaida/COA1 3rd.

FF14 and Honkai Star Rail especially I'm playing actively these days, but I honestly like a lot of stuff. Like Persona (espeially 4), 999 aka Zero Escape, and Star Ocean Til the End of Time. Least in terms of games.

Hmm... Maybe because the 1st reason I play a game is because of the story, and gameplay is always 2nd to me. If the story and characters are good, that gets me interested. Issue with IDV is we only get bits and pieces. Really need to look deeper to really understand some of the characters. I actually only started analyzing because I challenged myself (partially out of curiosity for the answer) to see if I could prove if Norton wasn't as evil as people thought (based on all the comments I saw when I 1st joined the fandom a long while ago). From there, there was Jose who I wanted to analyze because he honestly had so many plot holes I couldn't (and still can't completely) solve. So I get the most enjoyment analyzing something that doesn't have a clear answer. Which is why I don't always post for every letter. A big part of it is I enjoy history and culture and such, so it's fun for me to learn about different foods, or time periods, or how bad the environment was for miners or sailors back in the day, etc... I dont think I have an easy answer (I can see I'm rambling). Norton I actually only began to like because I was spending so long working on my 1st analysis for him (and my perfectionism made me analyze all of Norton's essences before i could call it finished). Jose was because I love Captain Hook, and then after because of the plot holes that bothered me. Then for others, I think I enjoy making analyses to... try to sometimes change people's opinoions/beliefs. Like with Margaretha or Vera. With Edgar was because I was more interested in his story and him as a character only once I put together all his lore. Sort of goes on from there. I could ramble on but I'm going to get even more guilty. I hope this helps somewhat, but let me know if it doesn't and I'll keep going. Maybe the simple is A) I like history/culture/research, B) I like to convince people that certain characters arent as evil as they think or change beliefs I think aren't quite accurate, C) I like solving puzzles and I love story, D) I already think too hard about literally everything, and combined with my perfectionism, we get analysis

“Stop right there!” Leon shouts as he spots the figure on the upper floor of the museum. A feminine figure looking down at him, and her lips curl up into a smirk. His blue eyes narrow as he tries to get a clearer view of the thief.

“Detective Kennedy, you’re here early.” A feminine flirty voice replies.

“I’ve caught you this time, give it up.” He says with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Aww, you really believe that." She replies with a soft laugh. Leon could only describe her as a cat as her eyes peered down at him beyond a black mask that covered the upper part of her face.

“You will return the item, now.” He demands his features set in a scowl. In his year of chasing after the phantom thief, this was the closest he had ever gotten to her.

“No can do my darling detective.” The thief answers, her tone the same mix of flirty and mysterious. Leon feels his cheeks get red as she calls him 'her darling detective.'

"E-enough," he snaps at her.

"Try to sound a little more confident next time, okay?" She replies with a smirk. "Such a shy cutie." She adds winking at him, causing his blush to get even brighter.

"Look! I'm taking you in!" He shouts at her, completely upset with the thief's flirting. "Give back the artifact!"

"No can do, I can give you my number through." She suggests with a smug smile before taking off further into the museum.

"Stop!" Leon chases after her, following the sound of her pounding footsteps. "Damn it!" He curses as he is just behind her. He follows her up to the roof, but when he slams the door open. She's gone, there's nothing there but a calling card. It simply says, see you soon cutie~

You let out a sigh of relief as you watch Detective Kennedy pick up your calling card and leave.

You look around before rushing through the alleyways, making sure that no one can possibly catch sight of you. As you reach the apartment you know well, you use the fire escape like you have many times before.

You open your window and enter inside the familiar apartment. You can finally relax as you shut the window behind you. Your cat peers at you lazily as he notices your arrival, seeming to have just woken up from a nap. You smile and give him a quick pet, which causes him to purr happily. You take off your mask and feel relieved to have it off. It can be uncomfortable, but it makes sure to keep your identity safe.

You pick up your burner phone off your desk opening it up as you contact a number.

Got your heirloom back

Nothing, just know it'll be back in your possession soon

You smile softly and shut the phone. Placing the small bag somewhere safe, making sure you'll know where the heirloom is when the time comes.

Your thoughts are heavy as you go through your routine, changing your clothes and hiding your mask. Detective Kennedy was close this time, as much as you had played it off you weren't expecting him to be there already. He was getting closer to catching you, and that scared you. However, that wasn't going to stop you. You did this to help people, and your fears of getting caught weren't going to stop you anytime soon.
