you don't have to start a youtube channel as an artist btw. you don't have to make video content or post to every conceivable platform. those are separate skills that you might not have signed up for and you might not even enjoy. you don't have to do that.

So I bought this fucking thing for some reason (cheap) and I'm torn on what to do with it. On one hand, it's perfectly functional if missing a battery, but on the other hand I have nothing better to do than tear the shell off and build a frame to make it a little go kart. Granted, I would have a shit time just trying to fabricate a frame with no real experience, but like. It could be fun ig.

Companies advertising they use AI as if that’s a selling point don’t seem to understand that there’s a good portion of people who want AI to die out, especially working class people. Either that or my circle on tumblr is just very much against robots taking everyone’s jobs & invading our fucking privacy.

Mask recommendations for ordering online (NA)
Note: for consistency, practicality, and simplicity all prices are listed in USD.
masknerd has a comprehensive data set on hundreds of masks he's tested according to his own criteria and methodology (pinned tweet). find his recommendations on his youtube channel. many of the following are on his list as well!
DISPOSABLE MASKS
3M Aura and Vflex: one of the most commonly recommended brands of N95. Where to buy?
- US: see here - Canada: see here - Multiple sizes per model. These suppliers are good for bulk ordering. If you aren't sure if something will fit you, check out the sample kits in the next recommendation - Price point: varies from $1-1.3 USD per mask depending on supplier
Breatheteq (US):
- KN95s that come in small, medium, large, or XS (kids) - Offers sample kits so you can test out what your size is - Comes in a few different colours. shoutout to the lavender - Earloop only - Price point: $69.75 USD for a 50-pack (~1.4 USD per mask)
Tumblr media
Canadastrong (Canada):
- The Canadian equivalent to Breatheteq, but also carries N95s of other brands such as 3M Aura and Vflex, Vitacore, and Drager X-plore
Vitacore (Canada and US):
- N95 certified, but actually has 99% filtration - Both earloop and head strap versions (warning that the head strap seems to fit considerably smaller) - Regular and small adult sizes offered, also a kid's size - Price point: $33.99 for a 30-pack (~1.1 USD per mask)
Tumblr media
Wellbefore (US, ships to Canada):
- N95s, KN95s, and KF94s - Head straps, normal earloops, or adjustable earloops depending on model - Kids/petite size available for certain KN95 models - Wide range of colours (excluding N95s) - Price point: varies per model, from $0.79 USD to $2.09 USD per mask - Also sells Covid tests, over the counter medication, and medical supplies
Tumblr media
Masklab (US):
- This is an indulgent option for if you want to go out and look good, while still staying safe. These are masks that are part of your outfit - FFP2 certified, equivalent to KF94s - Standard size and slim fit series - Many beautiful patterns - Price point: $24.44 USD for a 5-pack ($4.88 per mask) for the patterned KF ones, ~$3.4 USD for the plain KF ones, ~$3.3 USD for the slim fit series, including patterns.
Tumblr media
ELASTOMERIC MASKS
Flomask (US, ships to Canada):
- Reusable elastomeric mask (with replaceable filters) that meets KN95 standards - Two adult sizes (low/medium nose ridge and medium/high nose ridge) and a kid's size - Adjustable straps - Price point: $122 USD. 50-pack replacement filters: $81.46 (filters to be changed after 20-40 hours of use, depending on filter type)
Tumblr media
A humble P100 elastomeric respirator from your local Home Depot or similar store! Magnitudes cheaper than the Flo mask (both the respirator itself and the filters)--however, I can't offer estimates for how often filters should be replaced. May not look pretty, but the most economical option for the highest degree of filtration if you aren't self-conscious.
Tumblr media
General advice:
N95 or higher are the most reliable. They normally come with head straps, which offer better protection by making a tighter seal around your face.
But fit and comfort are the most important! Find a mask that fits your face and leaves the least amount of gap possible. KN95s are often more comfortable and breathable--find what's right for you.
You can wear different masks for different situations depending on risk level!
If you're hesitant to buy online, here's advice on how to tell if your respirator is legitimate.
A SIP drinking valve can be installed on any disposable mask to allow you to drink in public with less risk.
If anyone has other recommendations, please feel free to add!

The Waynes having a youtube channel (Tim) where they’re occasionally tagged in challenge videos or different things. It began with the ice bucket challenge and they did it to donate money. Now it’s for laughs.
One of their top viewed videos is: My Siblings Buy Me Outfits. The second ranked video is: I Buy My Siblings Outfits.
The first one is each of the Batkids buying Tim different clothes. Their preferred method of trolling is getting hero merch. Steph puts him in heels as payback for dragging her to a gala. Cass gets him a ballet outfit so they can dance together. Duke gets him wildly political t-shirts and a bunny suit for lab work.
The second video is Tim buying 2-3 outfits for each of his siblings. Dick can’t be trolled, he unironically looks good in everything. Alfred paid Tim in cookies to get Jason a suit for the next gala. Steph and Cass get crazy halloween costumes. Damian gets kakis and polos because it makes him look awkward. Duke gets an astronaut outfit. Like, the genuine article that is cleared to be used in the shuttle missions.
Overall it’s the fashion show for Bruce that sells each of the videos. They do a runway look and pose for him while he’s drinking a glass of champagne, wearing sunglasses indoors, and clapping.

Burnie’s AMA podcast about Rooster Teeth’s revival is now available to the public and so I’m going to summarizing the relevant questions that were answered here.
Why?
“It’s because we could […] If we don’t do it who will?” Throughout the episode, Burnie also mentioned: not wanting RT to become lost media; wanting to create opportunities for himself/past employees of the company; wanting to work with old properties again; being able to collaborate with new talent; and the Rooster Teeth brand being good marketing. “One of the main motivators for this was preserving the media, and I’m happy to say, it is preserved.”
Also spoken about over multiple questions, Burnie says that Warner Brothers might have been planning to sell off the whole company, including employees etc., and he did not want (/couldn’t afford) to buy it then. It was only after the shutdown, after it became clear the WB was selling off individual shows, that Burnie started trying to buy things. I mention this specifically because I’ve seen a lot of people talk as if the company itself is coming back; it is not. What Burnie owns right now is the brand and IP rights to a lot of the properties. The actual “company” of Rooster Teeth is actually Burnie’s production company “Box Canyon Productions” and right now only has two employees.
What properties does Rooster Teeth still own?
“It’s a very, very long list.” Burnie says they have the rights over 50 shows, some specifically named ones being The RT Podcast, Red vs Blue, and The Know. Most of the shows that were hosted on the Rooster Teeth YouTube channel were a part of the acquisition. Nothing from Achievement Hunter, Funhaus, or RWBY are owned by RT anymore. Heavy emphasis was put on AH no longer being under RT’s brand anymore.
Are the scope of these new projects going to be more in line with smaller content like the RT Shorts, or is the hope to try and focus on larger productions like Day 5, The Schedule, or Lazer Team?
“The sweet spot for scale is going all the way back to the early episodes of Red vs Blue.” The focus is going to be on “compelling writing and great characters,” and making projects with smaller productions. Throughout the episode they reiterated that their main focus is going to be on individual projects and shows.
Does this mean there are hopes of getting a complete boxset of RvB?
“I also would love a complete boxset of Red vs Blue.” Burnie says he wants to do this, but doing physical media in 2025 is complicated and a financial risk, so they’re going to have to figure out how it would be done. He mentions possibly doing a preorder for it.
What happens if this just fails again?
“It’s not bulletproof, but I don’t know what it would take for us to have to shutter this thing at this point.” Burnie says that they’re already profitable, that they maintain themselves, and that unless they do something that would put them in tremendous amounts of debt, as long as YouTube still remains a platform that lets them host videos, he’s not worried about the company shutting down.
Could this lead to some of the old RT merch being available again?
“Yeah, it would have to be within the brands we’re talking about.” They talk about there being a lot of old merch, so figuring out how to provide the specific pieces that people want will be a challenge. Burnie how his personal philosophies on making merchandise in a way that does not produce “junk” may also make selling merch more difficult. Ashley says it is going to be a “slow start.”
More questions were answered and things discussed on the episode but this is what I found to be important to share here.
The TL;DR of RvB news: They do own the Red vs Blue IP. There was no confirmation or denial of any future continuations of the show, but we will very likely be getting a boxset and some old merch returning.

The Strategic Move: Why Buying a YouTube Channel Can Propel Your Online Success
In the ever-evolving landscape of online content creation, acquiring a YouTube channel has become a strategic shortcut to digital prominence. In this article, we'll explore the compelling reasons why buying a YouTube channel can be the game-changing move you need to fast-track your online success.
Instant Audience and Engagement:
Starting a YouTube channel from scratch can be a formidable journey. It often takes months, if not years, to build a substantial audience. However, when you buy a YouTube channel, you inherit an existing subscriber base, immediate engagement, and an active community. This head start can dramatically accelerate your online journey.
Established Content Library:
A channel with history typically comes with a library of videos, each with its own set of views and engagement. This content library not only provides a valuable resource for your new channel but also contributes to the overall appeal of your content. It allows you to maintain a consistent posting schedule and explore opportunities for content optimization and repurposing.
Monetization Opportunities:
Monetizing a YouTube channel involves meeting specific criteria, such as reaching a certain number of subscribers and watch hours. When you buy a channel that already meets these requirements, you can start earning revenue from ads, channel memberships, merchandise shelf integration, and more right away. This accelerates your return on investment (ROI) and provides financial sustainability from the outset.
Audience Insights and Tailored Content:
Acquiring a YouTube channel also grants you access to valuable audience insights. You can analyze viewer demographics, watch time, and engagement metrics. This data is instrumental in crafting content strategies that resonate with your audience's preferences, enhancing engagement and loyalty.
SEO Advantages:
YouTube videos often rank well in search engine results pages (SERPs). When you acquire a channel with videos already ranking for relevant keywords, you gain a competitive SEO advantage. You can optimize these videos further and leverage their authority to drive organic traffic to your channel.
Reduced Risk:
Launching a YouTube channel from scratch carries inherent risks. There's no guarantee that your content will resonate with viewers, and it can take time to see substantial growth. When you buy an established channel, you mitigate some of this risk. You're building on a proven foundation with a pre-existing audience and content history.
Creative Freedom and Evolution:
Buying a YouTube channel doesn't mean sacrificing your creative vision. While it's essential to maintain consistency with the channel's existing theme, you have the flexibility to infuse your personality and ideas into the content. This creative freedom allows you to put your unique stamp on the channel while benefiting from its established presence.
Networking and Collaboration Opportunities:
Acquiring a YouTube channel often comes with connections and relationships within the content creator community. These existing connections can open doors to collaboration opportunities, sponsorships, and partnerships. Networking with other creators in your niche can help you expand your reach and grow your channel more effectively.
In conclusion, buying a YouTube channel is a strategic move that offers instant access to an audience, an established content library, monetization opportunities, audience insights, SEO benefits, reduced risk, creative freedom, and networking opportunities. It's a path to online success that allows you to build on an existing foundation while infusing your creativity and vision. So, if you're considering making your mark in the digital landscape, buying a YouTube channel might just be the shortcut you've been looking for.

Can we please talk about how awfully rich the project sekai cast is.
- More more jump is composed of three reformed idols. If that's not enough, they also do shows fairly often and I bet those tickets sell well.
- Shizuku is also a model.
- And if that's not enough, Papa Hinomori is a well known artist.
- the Tenmas are pretty rich (just take a look at their house).
- Also Ichika afforded to buy a Miku software so she's not poor either.
- Shinodad is also a well known artist, the Shinonomes live fairly comfortably if I remember correctly.
- Toya is like the second richest character in the game.
- Ken doesn't act rich but that doesn't mean he's not a well known artist and if you've read any of the vbs area convos you know the RADder copies still sell after all these years
- Emu is the richest character in the game. I don't think I even have to specify why. The Otoris literally own an airline.
- Wxs also do shows all the time. Ticket money part 2
- Kanadad probably struggled financially after his failure as an artist, but Kanade doesn't only make enough profit to survive but also pays Honami every week or so. Also, she has really neat equipment in her room, so Kanadad used to have a fair amount of cash.
- Everyone who goes at Miya girl is automatically rich. It's a PREP SCHOOL
- Also Mafumom pays Mafuyu for grad school and I don't think that's a cheap miracle.
- Not only that but Niigo are probably the most popular group out of the cast, their channel has a lot of followers and their videos get thousands of views. This actually makes me question if they like. Split the money somehow. Or do they just give it to Kanade because no way she's living off of her grandma's pension.
- imagine Niigo getting the youtube golden play button because I need this to actually happen now

Hello! I've been inactive due to the current events in the mcyt community, but I've been keeping up with the qsmp admin situation and I thought I'd share some opinions because the amount of doomposting I've seen the last few weeks has been more than I've seen in any fandom in a while and I feel like it's reached the point where people really need to chill the fuck out because they're not thinking straight and actively not helping. Everything I'm gonna say is based on stuff I've seen on both tumblr and twitter.
they should not promote/release merch! : one of the things that baffles me the most tbh; how do you expect any employee to be payed then? Merch is so far the only big source of income for the server besides q's own cc salary or whatever income they get through the official qsmp channel on twitch and youtube (which I don't think is a lot). "I get that they said they have no funds, but still it doesn't feel right"... sorry but at this point I don't know what to tell you, do you expect them to pull money out of their asses? You can't demand that they stop making merch and then complain that they can't afford the twitter admins at the same time. If you don't feel comfortable buying anything from them it's fine obviously, but if your reason for it is that you're helping the admins then I have bad news for you. I have seen people propose that quackity sets up a patreon, and while I think it would be a good idea, I understand why he's not doing it, since with the merch he can at least give something back to the people that choose to support his project instead of people just giving him money for free, especially with what's happening now. Also with how much hate he's been receiving simply for the merch I can't imagine that a patreon would be recieved well.
we don't know if the money is going to the admins/ they should not use pomme's likeness! : the money is definitely going to go to the employees and admins because otherwise the server would not last. And as much as I understand people feeling protective over pomme's admin, quackity studios is very much allowed to sell merch of the character because it is not the likeness of the admin, it's a minecraft model made by the people that work there. Would you have rathered they skip her character entirely? Do you really think that would have been okay?. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen posts and tweets saying that pomme's admin has been confirmed to come back with the other eggs whenever it happens by pierre, who talked with her admin.
Tumblr media
the admins of the update accounts got fired, it means they want to fire everyone, they aren't making things better! : it sucks that the updates accounts had to end and I feel bad for every twitter admin that clearly cared a lot about the project, but unfortunately it had to happen if there simply isn't enough money to pay them adequately like they deserved and ultimately the update accounts were not essential to keep the project going, so it makes sense that they were let go unfortunately. This is not gonna be the case for the egg admins because if they got fired (which they didn't), the server would basically end. Just because a cc does not know when they will be back does not mean it's not gonna happen. Just because tubbo randomly said that he's not sure if they will be back does not mean they were fired; tubbo is normally not a reliable source of information, even less so when he's been live nonstop for the past 20 days, which is prior to everything happening. If you genuinely didn't expect a reduction in non essential staff considering everything, then you have unreasonable expectations on how this stuff goes. As I write this, I'm seeing people saying that "they would understand this decision if q had set up a patreon to pay the admins", and once again I don't understand how people don't realize why quackity might not be keen on the idea of having his fans pay his own employees for his own project instead of, you know, doing it himself; and, again, do not fool yourself into thinking it would be recieved well. That being said, it's fair to criticize how everything was communicated to the admins, but I'll get to this in more detail later.
quackity should not have uninstalled social media, he's trying to avoid everything! : he's not avoiding anything, he's been off social media for a while now, which is why it took him that long to remove wilbur from the server. He has every right to not want to look at social media, as his focus should be on restructuring his server instead of doomscrolling on twitter because people think he needs to see how much people dislike him. The only people that he should talk to are those that have important information to tell him, like josè with the document. He explicitly said on stream where to contact him if you have helpful information and I'm sure that despite multiple well liked posts saying not to spam his email, people are definitely doing it anyway, which is probably gonna slow the whole thing down even more. I hope josè's document is able to be seen with pierre's help as well.
quackity studios is not communicating with their employees and leaving them in the dark and that's not okay : I agree with this. i think a huge chunk of doomposting lately has been due the lack of communication not with the audience, but with the admins, and they deserve to know what is happening behind the scenes more then us since this is about their current or future job.... that being said, I do kind of understand why they're being so secretive and shutting everyone out, and that's due to all the "leaks" that have been spread online. I understand the anger but I really wish some people would realize that discussing leaked bts lore stuff in ccs discord servers does not help the situation at all and instead makes it seem like they're only doing this to rile up the fandom against quackity studios by using the lore of people's fav characters.
At the end of the day, I think people just aren't used to dealing with a situation that does not have a clear cut solution and someone to clearly hate, so the result is this doomposting and the over aggressiveness toward anything related to the project. Personally, I haven't witnessed anything that made me lose faith in the qsmp like some people have been saying, as every change that we've seen so far coincides with what quackity said on stream a while ago. I only wish things were communicated properly to the admins clearly, as they're the ones most affected, so I hope that's resolved soon. Ultimately quackity is singlehandedly restructuring the server from basically zero, has had to fire people that were misusing money and power and, depending on what josè's document said, is probably gonna have to fire some more. This is not an easy process, nor a quick one, you're not gonna hear about sunshine and rainbows for a while and doomposting about everything you hear because you expected quick change is useless. Think before you speak, have a clear head and most importantly have empathy.

My daughter has been home for a few months now. She's healthy and happy, so I'm also happy. I'd planned to go back to work at the library this month, but that...did not pan out. So I've been busy working on some alternative avenues to support us.
This Simblr is almost three years old and I've always been adamant about never monetizing it. I still am. For me, this is all about having fun, sharing my creativity, and being part of an amazing community.
However, if you enjoy my designs, you can now have them for your home! I've recently opened an Etsy shop to sell my original artwork (all of which will be available for your Simmies, of course 😁). Anything purchased there will help support my new business, and of course you'll actually get something tangible in exchange. The first series is the one featured in this post, with more to come!
The shop is called CalicoOwlCreative. If you use Etsy and wouldn't mind giving it a favorite, I would be very grateful! And if you would like to buy some art for your real life home, there's a coupon code at the bottom of this post for my Simblr supporters as a thank you. 💜
Second (much shorter) announcement: I've also started a YouTube channel called Small But Spacey. Right now it has builds for No Man's Sky and Tiny Glade (and also my first mod for TG, because I just can't help myself), but I'll be adding some Sims content as soon as I get my game installation sorted out. (I swear TS2 just breaks out of spite whenever I neglect it for too long. 🤨)
Okay! So, onto the reason you're all here...the posters! You get twelve of these for - you guessed it - @linacheries’ immortal 4t2 conversion of Simsza’s National Park Prints. I did not include the mesh because I kind of assume y'all have it at this point. 😅

As always, a numbered swatch is included. These are 100% original designs, so no list of icon credits this time!
DOWNLOAD (SFS) Recolors are ~400KB
And if you do pop by the shop and want to buy something, the coupon code is SPACEY15 and good for 15% off. 💜
Lots of love, Spacey
PS - I've gotten a couple of notes about the painting being borked in the Kauri set. I will fix that as soon as I figure out what tf is going on with me game! I apologize it's been broken for so long.
