#Buy USA YouTube Video Comments

I recently started following a couple of YouTubers who create videos to sensibilize costumers about fake Ads of products you can find on Instagram and Tik Tok.

I will add the links of the two videos I watched. Part of me is disgusted by the waste of money and another one finds it entertaining. Maybe that's because I'm poor and unemployed. Ahah.

Back to the main topic: it seems that great part of those false brands (they have fake web sites, that usually disappear from a while, after scamming and frauding a meaningful number of people, I guess) copy this brand called House Of CB, stealing the modeling shooting of the clothes sold online by House Of CB. To make the scams more legit, those fake brand steals contents from the review section of similar (and least more honest) Amazon Dupes of popular clothing designs. In this section you can find a LOOOT of photo of people who happily post pictures of them wearing the products, the fake brands steals those pictures and use to make their sites look more legit. Another sources of images or videos to use as base for fake Ads of scam brands are the profiles of content creators, fashion vlogger, influencers or regular social media users who share their positive feelings about their new piece of clothing.

The thing I noticed immediately is HOW in this kind of scams the victims are more than one: in the first place we have the online buyers who has small budget and is scammed of their money; the second is the original brand or the designer, who is deprived of their entrances and of their intellectual property; the third is the content creator or regular social media user who sees their reputation and image trashed by the unconsesual association to a fraud.

It's important to notice that this kind of scam involves mainly Fast Fashion products, which are publicized under fake ads and sent to the clueless buyer, who thought to have found a big deal.

This is important, because fast fashion is widely renowned as an exploitative business model resulting in low wages, poor working conditions, a disregard for workers' rights and negative impact in environment such as water pollution and carbon emissions.

So, this kind of scams give a huge contribution to the exploitation of garment workers around the globe and also damage the planet in wich we are all living.

I want to say that those YouTubers were both from USA and I'm from Italy. I didn't see any fake ads during my Instagram and Tik Tok scrolling, I saw only small enterprises and single creators who craft and sew their own stuff and they seemed totally legit to me. Is this because in USA there is a less culture about costumers protection than in Europe?

I can't answer. Just be careful, buy ethically and support small businesses.

Edit: some reddit users report that they have been scammed by a copycat version website of House of CB, though a fake Instagram ad that reported some 'big sale' happening.

PART 2 - WHEN YOU FUCK UP FEMALE FRIENDSHIPS ON A TV-SHOW

Felicia was so encouraging and helped Amie's first steps to her music career. She gave constructive criticism on how Amie could get more followers on social media (not posting tons of videos at once) because Felicia really wanted Amie to succeed. She encouraged Amie to go and talk to Tobbe. She took care of Amie after she got shitfaced drunk (so much so that she got her family involved and we, THANK BABY JESUS, ​​got the awesome scene with Amie and Elias in his room). Felicia quickly became very fond of Amie and Amie quickly became fond of Felicia. They could have become lovely, platonic soulmates (as fans made youtube videos: Top Amicia soulmate moments).    I LOVE Amie and i am more mad at the writers and how they dared to make her from season 1-2 than I am at the character, Amie.    I'm so pissed how they dared to let Ludde be the thing that broke something that I can clearly see could have been an inspiring, wonderful female friendship. 

Amie and Felicia were supposed to get to celebrate Amie's career path together, and Amie being inspired by Felicia to write a song about her or suddenly call out Felicia's name (as a funny inside joke) in one of her songs. And despite the fact that Felicia is very rich and can buy most things in the world, Amie wanted to buy Felicia something with her first big singing career money, which Felicia whould value and displayed in her room (so she always has Amie with her, even when Amie is far away on tour).    AND when Amie, Felicia and Klara (I always say Klarna, but it's Swedish too) lie on the bed together and apologize to each other, it was far from good or particularly heartwarming for me. I know: the friendship that was in season 1 is broken forever BUT I don't feel like I saw a good sign that I believed that they had really started a new friendship from season 4 and onwards. I really don't trust the men and women in that writing room.    I would have built Amie and Felicias and made it stronger with the fact that (in the season 1 finale) Ludde is unfaithful with someone in their class, rather than with Amie.    I also don't think I would have had Klara film it (even though she is persistently problematic in manipulating Aime against Felicia and bullying Felicia).    In season 2, I would have added that, when Felicia came back from the US, she had Amie there as a supporter next to Elias and her mother. BUT Amie has worked with Ludde in the studio and is unsure how to share this, and whether (now that Felicia is back in town) whether she should continue working with Ludde. Be 100% loyal to her best friend or think more about her career?    I would have Felicia find out by coming by the studio (to suprise amie) and find her making music whit Ludde. Amie and Felicia would get in a fight where Felicia angry yells, “do you have short term memory? He cheated, and it's on film!” Amie would answer frustrated that "Yes, I know, but we write such good songs together. We work so well together.”    Felicia would storm away and give Amie a cold shoulder, leave her on read for days, before Felicia goes to Amie. Amie says, "I'll stop working with Ludde if you want." 

Felicia would say with a heavy sigh, “it's ok. I want you to be very successful. So ... write with him.”

Still, I would leave the friendship a bit strange, and not have the 2 girls be completely on the same wavelength until Jack, the whore, is showing his dusty self at the party.    Now to Amie and Elias from Season 2:    Since they would see more of each other (despite Elias still having his short, soft fuckboy phase and being with Klara) I would have added a sprinkle here and there (in more than 2 episodes) of banter between Amie and Elias. And STILL managed to get Elias' sweet comment about Amie's hair in, but not at the hospital (as I would have written all 3 went and visited Ludde).    I think, despite the fact that Felicia was in the USA and Amie and Elias are friends in the season 2 premiere, I would still let them be so busy with hockey and music that they don't physically meet each other, but write some messages.    Season 3 with Amie and Elias developing relationship was really well done!! And I'm pretty biased with these two cuties so...yeah. 

WHAT I LOVE: Episode "road trip" - Amias scenes and Elias spinning a hysterically funny story, to the scout, about Amie being pregnant and that they're expecting a boy, is so INSANELY brilliant. One of my absolute favorite Elias/Emias moments!!    Also the scene right before they go out on the balcony, when Amie imagines everything that can be done in the apartment to spruce it up    I got a strong sense of subtle foreshadowing about their future in LA. And as the actor, who plays Amie said, "I also think Amie and Elias stick together, and become a power couple."    And I love the chemistry the 2 actors managed so incredibly well to get through to Amie and Elias.    Elias is my top 3 favorites.    I love Amie (from season 3) and love certain things about her from season 1-2. Her style is always dripping and her hair is always on point. And I LOVE that they wrote a black girl quite feminine and not dealing w trauma, or black girl struggle. And that she was the girl who ended up having a boyfriend at the end of the series, and was about to go and make it big overseas.     AND Petra (that lady is hysterically funny when she makes petty comments against the Kroon family, to Mats).    And I really appreciated what Ludde said, in the scene where he and Felicia are pillow talking and he asks, “ Did you come?" and then says, after Felicia replies, "We can try again later."

I can't count on 1 hand the times I've seen a teenage boy (ON TV) say something like that to his girlfriend about her pleasure. Chefs kiss!!

So a quick ramble ahead because I just watched a video on youtube about propogating Malabar Spinach from storebought greens and someone in the comments was worried about GMO crops being propogated/seed saved in this way so I wanted to post the same PSA here.

Copied and pasted directly from my reply, because more people need to know it's perfectly safe and rewarding to save seeds from storebought produce, especially if you are on a tight budget and cannot afford to buy seeds.

Also, GMO and Hybrid are two seperate things, and no, Hybrid does not mean the plant is a frakenstein's monster mixmash of two completely different species. Hybrid plants just means two established varieities were cross pollinated to make a new variety, which needs to be grown out multiple generations to become stable.

Every single heirloom crop in existence started out as a hybrid, and more are made every day as people breed new varieties with some mind-blowing results.

theres's VERY few crops are are GMO, including only 5ish in the USA-- corn, soy, papaya, sugar beets, and something else I can't think of off the top of my head. All of these are modified for disease resistance (the papaya) or they are modified to resist the pesticides used on them. Literally none of them will *ever* be sold in a form that is not heavily processed for the exact reason you stated-- if commerical creators of the seeds are not willing for farmers to save seeds from their crops, why would they allow even the slightest chance of a random person picking up their produce at a grocery store and being able to propogate this protected seed? Answer: you can't. GMO corn is used in heavily processed forms such as corn flour, canned corn, for starch, etc, never sold fresh as cobbs (and even if it were, you cannot save seeds from storebought corn on the cob, it's "unripe" and not fully mature which is when we eat it) GMO beets are sugar beets used to create white sugar. You're Not gonna find them whole in the produce section to plant in the garden. GMO papaya is for canned/jarred/juiced papaya, never whole fresh from the produce section, where you can save hundreds if not thougsands of seeds from a single fresh fruit; do you really think companies would allow their patented seed to be saved on such a massive scale by the average consumer? nope! GMO Soy? being used for every single processed application you can think of. you will never, ever find GMO soy beans in their mature form at the grocery store. GMO malabar spinach probably does not even exist because it has no reason to exist. You will never, ever find a GMO produce crop at the grocery store in any form that is propogatable, and there are far fewer GMO crops out there than you think, but I am not making fun of you or anything, this is something a lot of seed companies regularly fear monger about so they can charge astronomical prices, and it just takes a moment to make that realization of "Oh, yeah, that makes no sense. If theyre so protective over their patent, Why WOULD they allow it to be sold in a form that can be propogated?" Anyways, I am an avid advocate for people to save seeds in any form they can, including all mature grocery store produce. Many people are food insecure and cannot afford to buy seeds or plants, and deserve to know they do not need to shell out money for say, sweet pepper or tomato seeds, because all they need to do is save seeds from the produce they already buy, without having to spend an extra dime-- and getting a few hundred more seeds to grow than they would out of a $3 packet. You can savely propogate/save seeds from grocery store produce without worrying about GMO patents. You will never find GMO produce in a form that can be propogated because that would be the company's worst nightmare.
