Which outfit has garnered your OC the most compliments? How did they feel about receiving such effusive praise? Did they enjoy it?

I'm not good at making this sort of thing up entirely on my own, so I let actual reactions of people inform me what sort of things he wears that someone might comment on positively. And I have learned people tend to agree with me and find Dusk looks really good whenever he's in official gunbreaker armor, and are perfectly happy to tell me so (and I appreciate it every time). As a result, I have decided that's the sort of stuff he wears that gets him noticed most, and people tell him so. He never knows what to say, beyond thanking them for the compliment. Because he does like when he gets those! He's just always surprised when he does.

The funniest outfit he was wearing when a complete stranger told me he was very handsome, though ...

So this was way back during Shadowbringers, when the Ishgardian Restoration was in full swing and there were a billion people in the Firmament. I was there, innocently making beds over and over and over and over, in this:

The very nice person opened with something along the lines of "I hope it's okay for me to say this, but I love your character's look!" After I thanked them, it sort of escalated to an emphasis on how no seriously, he's very handsome and you know I've been married four times in this game - I know that sounds bad but it isn't I promise - to guys with really light hair, I think it's my type, also I have my camera turned so I can look at him while I grind my crafter levels but no seriously he's so good looking he's even pulling off those pants!!!!

So of course in my heart SOMEONE hit on Dusk during the Ishgardian Restoration while he was wearing that objectively dorky outfit, and he was very, very polite about it outwardly while flailing internally because what are you talking about these are just my dumb crafting clothes.

tl,dr: dusk is awkward about compliments sometimes but tries really hard to make sure the other person has no idea

i’ve started watching legends of avantris (like the full episodes, not just the shorts) and i gotta say, i think edge of midnight is my favorite campaign of theirs that i’ve seen

don’t get me wrong, the other campaigns they have are awesome, but there’s something about edge of midnight that i really like. maybe it’s just because i really like the fact that it’s a horror campaign lol

but anyway if anyone’s looking for new dnd shows/podcasts, listen to legend of avantris’s full campaigns. don’t limit yourself the shorts! (though the shorts are still very good and the whole reason i started watching LOA. not disparaging the shorts at all!)
