IT’S OFFICIAL AHHHHHH THE GRADUATE SCHOOL APPROVED MY ADMISSION IM OFFICIALLY INTO MY CHOICE EEEEEE!!!!!  My potential advisor called me right after class to share the news and and the department chair sent me a cute email and oh boy I just really wish they were bringing me up sooner because I promised myself I wouldn’t make a decision until after I visited and now I can’t do so for a whole ‘nother month (luckily the dates don’t mess with anything else (exams, performances, rehearsals, etc)).  It doesn’t feel fair to my Choice F to string them along like this but I’m going to stick to my guns on this one.  Visiting is a really important component of my decision-making process.  If the vibes are off (and I suspect they won’t be, but I’ve been surprised before), then I ain’t goin.

Also!  The girl I met during my Choice B interview (and who also applied to and interviewed with my Choice C (arguably the best bioanth program in the country, but also I’m very biased), and in both cases we applied to work with the same person) ended up getting into the Choice C (but not my Choice B) program that we applied to which, without going into specific details, means I am likely waitlisted for the program (waitlisted at least.. it’s possible that my acceptance to Choice B precludes me from the Choice C program altogether).  Which means I’m six-for-seven, sort of.  Not a bad record.  Not bad at all.

As more days went by Luke tried to do more things. The more he tried to do the quieter Y/N got. But luckily César began to notice. He noticed that Y/N wanted him to sit between her and Luke more. How she stopped laughing at his jokes and how Luke changed his tone when talking to her. It wasn’t always playful like it used to be.

Even though César wasn’t really close to his sister he acknowledged that they had to look out for each other. Y/N had been the one to get Oscar to let him back in the house many times. She looked out for him, and he had to look out for her.

Which is why when César and Monse accidentally walked in on Luke kissing her in an empty classroom while she tried to push him off, he freaked out.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” He shouted, pulling Luke off of her and close to his face by the collar of his shirt. “I'm Lil’ Spooky I’ll have your face in the dirt if you do that shit again.”

“César, stop what are you doing here. You’re going to hurt him.” Y/N yelled. Monse gently pulled her away from Luke, but she pushed Monse back.

César punched Luke in the eye and he fell down, crumbling into a fetal position. César continued to kick him in the stomach until Y/N pulled him away.

“You’re hurting him! You can’t do this here! César stop please!”

César turned and grabbed Y/N's arm. He led her out of the classroom and out of the school with Monse trailing after them. Y/N’s items in hand.

“I can’t believe he was on you like that. Shit, Y/N. Wait, don't cry, don’t cry, it's okay.”

Y/N hadn’t realized she was crying until he said that. Tears were falling rapidly down her cheeks. She choked back sobs, trying to keep herself somewhat together.

She was thankful for César stopping it, but afraid for what would happen next. Once they reached their house César guided her up the stairs and inside where Oscar was smoking a cigarette at the dinner table. Hearing the door burst open and crying he instantly got up. He reached for his gun, but seeing that it was his siblings he stopped.

“Shit, what the hell happened César. Why is she crying?”

“Tell him,” César said softly. Monse ran in and went to Y/N’s side pulling her into a hug.

“Tell me what. Why are you crying?”

“He 's not mad at you hermana. Él va a ayudar.”

Y/N sniffled and buried herself into Monse’s shoulder. Trying to hide her embarrassment she whispered, “My friend at school was touching me in a weird way, Oscar. He wouldn’t stop. I told him to stop, though. I did. Please, don’t be mad at me.”

“We’re not mad at you and he’s not a friend anymore, Y/N. That should’ve never happened to you.” Monse murmured.

The room went silent. Monse still slowly rubbed Y/N’s back and César stood tense. Oscar looked from César to Y/N.

“César, do you think he left school yet?”

“Uh yeah, school ended right after I pulled her out.”

“Come on,” Oscar grabbed his gun and began to walk out the door, César following after. Y/N ran after Oscar begging for him to stop.

“Don’t Oscar, don’t hurt hm. He’s my only friend. He’s a kid, it was just a mistake.”

“No no!” He shouted. Oscar turned and placed his hands on Y/N’s shoulder’s. Looking into her teary eyes.

“It’s not your fault. It’s never your fault hermana. My job is to keep you safe. I've failed at a lot of things, but I refuse to fail at that again. Get in the house and rest. He just needs to be taught a lesson. Stay with Monse. Te amo como una hija bebé espeluznante.”

He left with César, leaving Y/N on the lawn. Monse guided her back into the house. She remembered what her dad did whenever she was going through a lot. She treated Y/N the same way. Reassuring her that it will be okay. That it wasn’t her fault.

César and Oscar didn’t come back until later that night.

“We got you this,” Oscar muttered, walking into the house and tossing a stuffed bear to Y/N. “We saw the idea online.” It was a f/c bear with a heart on it that said ‘Te Quiero’ with little messages César and Oscar wrote on the back. There weren't a lot, but the few ones there were were heartfelt.

“Thank you, I love it” Y/N smiled, holding the bear close. Her eyes were still slightly red from crying.

“And pizza,” César quietly cheered. On his face was a bandage, but he moved his face so Y/N couldn’t see it. “Monse do you want to spend the night?”

Monse looked at Y/N, “Yeah I already have clothes here so I’ll stay,”

She picked up a slice of pizza. “Soo, what did you guys do?”

“We took care of it,” Oscar said, sitting on the couch next to Y/N. “He won’t mess with you again. If I didn’t have a reputation I would’ve reported it.” He lowered his voice. “You can always go to us Y/N, we’re going to protect you. If that cabrón messes with you again I’m coming for him. ”

“I know,” Y/N mumbled. “I just wanted a friend, how dumb is that.”

“You can always hang out with us,” Monse added, “We’re your friends. We love having you around.”

Y/N sighed, “I mean my own friend. I love you guys too, but it gets so lonely. No one at school wants to be near me. Soy un marginado.”

The room went silent again. Before Monse spoke up, “You know you’re really smart Y/N. There’s a school in BrentWood that might offer you a scholarship to go there. I know you could pass the entrance exam. ”

“I could get a job for the tuition,” César added, rising from his seat at the dinner table. “Oscar what do you think? You’ve been making more money lately. It would keep her safe. She is really smart.”

Oscar looked at the ceiling, a good sign that he was thinking about the idea. Y/N kept her mouth shut, trying not to get too excited.

“How would she get there?”

“It’s a long bus ride,” Monse remarked, “But it’s safe. Only a bunch of rich kids. Most of them will be nice to you, Y/N. You’re smart, you’re funny, and you’re strong. Not a lot of them are like that there. No one will know who you're related to. I can get my mom to help get you in.”

César, Monse, and Y/N looked at Oscar. He took a deep breath and released it. Pulling a cigarette out his pocket, he lit it. Breathing deep he puffed out the smoke.

“I failed you today as a hermano, if I can keep you safe I will. I’ll work on getting you there.”

Y/N smiled and hugged Oscar, feeling César join as well.

“Thank you Oscar. Thank you Cesar. Thank you Monse. I love you.”

“Yeah, yeah” Oscar grinned. “Get off me I’m going to bed. I think I’ll go to the beach tomorrow. Want to come?”

Draco is incredibly affectionate, but he’ll show it differently depending on context. In general, his affection comes in just wanting to be around you—he craves closeness with you, even if he’s not touching you.

Touching you is the best, though. He’s a fan of small bits of PDA: when you’re out together, he’s always holding your hand, or touching your arm or the small of your back or maybe – on occasion – your ass. (Just little grazes that make his eyes shine and your stomach flip.) Probably some little kisses here and there, if you have a moment alone. Does Draco like to cuddle? Yes yes absolutely yes. This man loves cuddling, especially after a long day. He loves to curl up with you on his bed and hold you close, maybe with your head tucked under his chin. He’ll give you soft kisses while he holds you, on your temple or your cheek or your neck and they’re not even intended to steer things toward a make-out or sex, unless you decide to take it there. (Sometimes he decides but if he does it’s uh pretty obvious.)

DEFINITELY. Draco is ready to settle down when it comes to you. He loves you so much that he already wants to marry you, you had to remind him that the both of you are still at school tho.

So here’s the thing about Draco. He's fallen for you, HARD. The problem is that, if he’s the one initiating a break-up, it hits him hard. He would never even think about ending things with you. Like I've stated before, he loves you so much that he wants to marry you already. He never thought there'd be a day that he'd think about stuff like this and yet here we are. This softy! is so gentle!! The biggest exception is if he sees you after a longer separation – this might be a summer break but it also might just be something like one of you having A LOT of homework that keeps you from being with each other when he rather be hanging out together – he needs to be all over you and he might be rougher, then—rougher hugs, kisses, everything.

Draco is a frequent and enthusiastic hugger. Hugs from Draco are him pulling you close and burying his face in your neck and luxuriating in the smell of you. Hugs from Draco are him nudging his forehead against yours and maybe bumping your nose while he leans in to give you a kiss.

Hugs from Draco are usually your first cue if something’s wrong, too—you’ll get to his dorm and find him sitting on the bed and he’ll pull you into his arms and you’ll feel in the way he holds you that he had a really shit day.

Like when he knows that he wants to settle down with you, Draco will say, “I love you,” pretty much as soon as he knows. He’s bursting with it and he’s gotta get it out. This man gets jealous. It's not that he doesn't trust you, he just doesn't trust other guys. If a guy looks at you for too long, you can count on Draco giving them a death glare. Does he maybe give you a particularly emphatic kiss after someone tries to flirt with you? Perhaps, but it’s more because he revels in the fact that he gets to do that when no one else does.

Draco kisses your lips like he has nowhere else like he needs to be. Slow, deep kisses all about savoring the taste of you, the feeling of you close to him.

He kisses your neck playfully, teeth nipping over your skin and scattering the occasional hickey because he can’t resist.

He kisses your breasts, your stomach, your thighs when he’s ravenous for you, when he’s desperate to wind you up.

Draco Malfoy doesn't really have experience on taking care of children— he's more of a picking on children type of guy. So when you and Draco spent one summer break together and you were asked to babysit your niece, Draco was worried. He’s a bit awkward at first but after seeing how you interact with them, the tension would start to melt away and he relaxed around them.

After watching you interact with babies, he would start to imagine having a baby with you and he realizes how much he wants kids with you.

Mornings are spent with each other in his dorm. The both of you just enjoying your time with each other before you get ready for the day. It was these mornings together that reminded him of the love the two of you have for each other and how important you are in his life.

Nights are often spent cuddling and catching each other up on their days. Basically quality time is the primary love language of most evenings (combined as always with touch because again—super cuddly man). Then probably once a week you’ll go out either on a date or to hang with friends.

It took some time for him to open up. He loves you and trusts you very much but he was scared of how you'd react. He's not really used to all the "talking about his feelings" type of thing since he didn't really grow up in a homey environment but over time, he started telling you things and he felt better and lucky to have you in his life.

He does have a temper but not with you. He’s very patient and calm when it comes to you. He never wants to upset and anger you. When you two would fight, he felt like it was all his fault and he would try to make it up to you only for you to apologize too and remind him that it wasn’t all his fault.

Remembering little details that you share with him is definitely one of the ways that he shows interest in you at first. But while he makes a particular point of it at first, he is still quite good at it in general.

Draco is— well how do I even say this. Draco can be mean at most times but the thing is, in his eyes you're an exception. There was this one time when he was having a bad day and Theo was aking him something and he just glared at Theo but when you came in and asked the same question, he answered you patiently, his eyes softening, leaving Theo to have his jaw dropped.

He HATES ferrets and I don't even have to explain why. There was this one time where Blaise showed him a ferret and he just ran away from the both of you.

And you want to find it cute, you do, because it’s really about him trying to cuddle with you but also it means you frequently wake up for the morning and he has two thirds of the bed to himself. I feel like with Bennys flirty behavior that would be the cause of most of your fights. Benny knows when you're upset when you disappear out of nowhere. Like you’re nowhere to be seen since you’re avoiding him. Benny has to track you down or pay Rory.

Benny freaks out every time but tries to hide it. (not very well ) and does everything in his power to make you comfortable./ If Benny gets injured, you’re his nurse which he’ll take advantage of in his own ways.

S - Solution (how they resolve fights)

the group usually has to get you two back together after a fight. you take a break from one another, and it’s awkward for the group. Until one of you misses the other and comes back with food/promises.

T- Touch (when they need/want your touch, what will they do? how often?)

Benny wants your touch all the time. He’s big fan of PDA and always has a hand on you or around you. Usually Benny will come up and gently grab your hand to plant a kiss but if you remove your hand before he gets the chance to, he’ll rest his chin on your head/shoulder and wait.

U- Waking Up With Them

waking up with Benny is the best. he has his arms around you every single time, he somehow manages to pull you into his arms in his sleep when you go to sleep on separate sides of the bed. if you’re still asleep, he just presses kisses to your forehead, trying to wake up a bit more before getting up and starting the day. if you’re up before him, you absolutely love playing with his messy hair and stroking his cheek.

V - Vacation (where they travel with you)

Weeks after planning and planning, you and Benny finally take a trip to ( your dream location). Benny wants to visit every corner with you as well as getting a souvenir.

W - Wedding (how they propose/where you get married/honeymoon)

Benny is a nervous wreck when he prepares to ask you. Looking around, stuttering, and tripping. You were beginning to think you were being followed and Benny didn’t want to scare you. You finally asked him what’s up and he grabbed your hands gently to pour his heart out. Benny was scared when no response came out of your mouth but a few minutes later you were covering his face in kisses and saying yes over and over again. You really didn’t have a BIG wedding but it was all your family and friends there.

X - X-factor (what about you captivated them?)

Benny loves your bluntness. He likes it how you tell everyone the truth and you’re not sorry about it.

Y - Yawning (how they act when they’re tired)

Benny tries to hide when he’s tired so he’ll be over exaggerating his emotions but when he’s tired to the point where he can’t hide it he’ll be less clingy and kinda shut off from the group. You can tell he’s tired when he begins to mumble or just stops talking overall.

Z - Zzzz (how you fall asleep together)

Benny doesn’t care about space. he wants to be as close to you as possible, breathing in your scent and feeling your warmth.

Very affectionate, but very shy about it. He often shows his affections through buying you things, as he was raised to show his devotion to somebody through good results, through things people want. He is also physically affectionate though.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

I can see a friendship starting over you two simply bonding over nerdy stuff. That aside, hunter as a best friend is very protective and caring. He loves to tease you as well, and he works extra hard to make sure you’re never mad at him, or worse, disappointed in him.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Yes, absolutely. He clings to you like a koala and never lets go. Have to pee? Too bad. He’s busy.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He never thought about settling down, he’s young. He hasn’t thought about that stuff yet, and he’s very dedicated to the coven. Hunter is good at cleaning, cause he has to be. Cooking? Well.. he’s never done it before. With some practice, he will learn.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

The only reason I see him breaking things off with you is to keep you safe, but I could totally see it happening based off of a disagreement with Belos, or perhaps being close to Luz and the gang. (Even then, I think he’d be forgiving and forget about it). He would be honest as to why he was breaking things off with you, but he cares about you and is as gentle and delicate about it as he can be. This hurts him too.

F = Fiancé(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He’s all for commitment, he doesn’t just date anyone. In fact, he probably thought he was Aromantic before meeting you. You’re the real deal, you’re stuck with him. He would not want to get married until a reasonable age, when you’re adults. Perhaps in your early 20s. But he hasn’t thought that much about marriage.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

God so gentle. You have no idea, especially if you’re the timid shy type. He doesn’t hug too tight, or say something at you too loud, and he’s very delicate when coming to you with any problems he may have with you, or anyone else.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Yea. Loves them. But never hugs you unless emotional or just really missed you. However, he will take any hugs you give him, with a smile and a blush.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Takes awhile, but I don’t really think he’d date somebody unless he knew for sure that was the extent of his feelings (unless you asked him out sooner than that?) because he just wouldn’t have the guts to ask you out otherwise. All that aside, it takes awhile because he wants to wait until you feel the same.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Very jealous, he’s not confident in himself so he gets jealous all the time. Doesn’t do much though, probably glares at the person he’s jealous of and is very passive aggressive and talks mad shit about them. That’s probably it.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Likes kissing your hand the most, he finds it cute? It’s really cheesy but sweet. For him, he likes being kissed on the cheek. He’s not sure why but there’s something about it that makes him all red in the face. His kisses are usually quick, but they’re passionate and loving.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Okay the show may eventually ruin this for me cause like he either LOVES them or HATES them. I am going with the idea though he loves children very much, but is very awkward around them and since he finds them annoying he’s a dick to them lol.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Waking up and cuddling with him for a bit, it’s rare you guys get some sleep in. (Or for him, it’s rare he gets some sleep in). A morning routine (showering, perhaps brushing your teeth together, etc.) and eating breakfast while goofing off with eachother

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Usually quiet cuddling while he talks about his day, most days he’s venting. Then he listens to you ramble about your day.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He takes awhile to reveal things about himself for a multitude of reasons, he has a bit of a complex and he doesn’t want you to think he’s some weakling who can’t take care of himself. Or worse, can’t protect himself and more importantly you. All the trauma he has will unfold eventually, he trusts you a lot but the longer he’s with you the even more he trusts you wouldn’t judge him for a lot of the shit that happens to him.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

In general? We all know how he is, he gets angered pretty easily! With you though? That patience is unwavering. A true simp.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Everything, every little thing. At first it’s cute, but once you realize he had to remember every little thing in order to survive, it gets you kinda sad for him. Regardless, cares about everything you say anyways. So not completely due to trauma.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

The first time you saw his face. It was the first time anyone called him a “pretty boy”

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Very protective. Often protecting you at a cost of himself, if you ever upset Belos he said it was him, despite how much deep shit he’d be in. Let’s hope you decide not to cause too much trouble after that. He will protect you from the law if you’re a criminal, he will protect you in the heat of battle, he will protect you from any potential suitors out of jealousy, he will protect you from who he deems dangerous and would put you in harms way (Eda, Luz, etc. because they’re reckless criminals). He doesn’t think about being protected much, he doesn’t feel he has to be. I’d imagine, protecting him in similar ways (like perhaps with Belos) would mean a lot to him.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

As much as he can. He doesn’t want to disappoint you after all. He remembers every anniversary and usually has a huge day planned, he always takes you out on nice dates (unless you state you like more basic, less nerve wracking and fancy dates), he loves buying you gifts, and not just any kind, those that you want, not something random. He helps you with everyday tasks as much as he can. He wants you to be happy with him.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Jealousy can become a pretty bad quality, being insecure on top of that can become pretty bad when he starts acting irrationally because of it. He’d never get mad at you, but getting mad at random guys you’re friends with is unreasonable. His overprotective nature is sweet, but can become onerous when he’s being protective when you two are simply going out to eat some food. Overall, these qualities can be seen as good but if there’s no reassurance, can get out of hand.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Not much. He’s insecure about his appearance but he doesn’t make it a huge deal.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yeah. But like, without you would mean you moved away, you passed away, you’re ignoring him, something along the lines. Otherwise, he can function day to day life without you breathing down his neck.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Everytime you hold hands he has to rub his thumb over your knuckles. Even when you’re running for dear life or hanging on his hand by a thread.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

I think a perfect example of somebody he’d hate in a partner is Sasha Waybright. Somebody who’s very controlling and manipulative subconsciously reminds him of Belos and his relationship with him and he hates it. He doesn’t mind a confident, egotistical person exactly, but if it’s so bad it causes them to think they’re better than everyone else, he has a bit of a problem.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

You mean other than the lack there of? When he sleeps he has his legs wide open like a starfish.
