Alright, I'm gonna rip this off like a bandaid...

For a While now, I’ve been making this... somewhat nsfw comic for my patrons. And I’ve been hesitating to share that info here, for two reasons: 1. I knew I wanted to share a preview of the beginning, but the beginning looks like absolute Hot Garbage compared to the rest of the comic, and 2. I didn’t want it to come off as if I’m trying to sell something, or all obnoxious like “heeey!! Lookit this comic!! And OOP, ya gotta PAY to see the rest!! 😏” Cuz that's annoying.

But I’ve come to realize that I’ve been having a LOT of fun on patreon, and people seem to like what I’m making, and it would be nonsensical to keep all that to myself. We’re having a party over there!! And I want others to know that they can join the party too. As for this beginning part looking like crap - I was warming up to digital art at the time. Hopefully this will make up for it: here’s a couple drawings I like from the next two parts, as well as a blurry visual for the other panels, so you have a vibe for how much I’ve done.

OF COURSE, besides that, I’ve been drawing all sorts of other suggestive-y things for my patrons, (mostly billford hahahha sorry. My brain is like 90% bill cipher at this point) so there’s a bunch of other stuff on there too.

BUT ALSO???? VERY EXCITING??? I made a discord server for my patreon too!! That’s the big thing that’s been keeping me occupied this month. I made the server with the intention for it to be a place to host patron only art streams, but I wasn’t expecting it to become a place where people just hang out and talk about fandom stuff, share art, etc, and it’s honestly been such a blast. (the night of the charity stream was so much fun sdkjfhddfkjh) I streamed myself drawing almost every panel from pt 3, and I plan on streaming myself working on just about all my projects. I’m excited about it!! It’s been really fun, and I’d love to have you there too!

they’re always so emotive, whether the drawing is serious, silly, etc. it scratches my brain, i have to stare at it forever and i still can’t figure out what it is that makes your drawings so expressive

Nothing wrong with pulling an expression you like and studying it! Especially if it encapsulates the emotion you're trying to go for! <3

ok yay im in the mood to type a lot because my new keyboard protecter makes my typing sound nice. here is my advice for being In The World as someone who was SO scared:

become a Regular somewhere. Coffee shops and libraries r fantastic spots for this. first of all, it's great to have a place away from home to work on schoolwork if you're in school. meeting other Regulars/employees and forming friendships is totally possible, but even if you don't get particularly close to anyone, familiar acquaintances are far more valuable than we realize!

be really mindful about your substance use, especially for the first year of living on your own. Even if you're only using at parties or shows or whatever, that's teaching your brain that in order to have fun and be social, you Need a substance. after struggling with substances in high school, I was completely sober for my freshman year of college. I think this is one of the best choices I made for myself at that age!

you probably haven't found The One yet and that Is GOOD ! ! even if you have a romantic partner you feel really confident about, be sure to form friendships with people completely separate from your partner. even if you and your partner are together 4 life, it's important to have your own social sphere!

IT IS WORTH DECORATING YOUR ROOM EVEN IF YOU WILL ONLY BE THERE FOR ONE YEAR ! ! ! it is NEVER too late to decorate. Yeah it's a hassle to move everything, but it increases my happiness so so much to be in a space that feels like home to me. I think its especially important to do this if you end up living in a dorm!

if you haven't established a line of credit yet, it's a great idea to get on that soon if ya can. My first credit card was a Chime credit builder which basically functioned as a debit card. I couldn't spend any money that I didn't already have. It honestly doesn't even matter if you're using it constantly, just try to make like one purchase per month or so! One of the major factors of a credit score is the length of your credit history. Even though I didn't use a credit card much until recently, my score is pretty decent because I have a credit history that's around 3 years old.

eat. seriously. so many people I know struggle so much with their mood and health and its largely due to not having a regular food schedule. it's way harder than you expect it to be!

everything is always gonna be awkward. you have to decide whether you want awkwardness to rule your life or if you can face awkwardness regularly and live far more freely and awesomely. what's the worst that's gonna happen?? you ask someone to hang out and they say no?? do we need to call the ambulance now????

that's all my basic Young Adult advice. a framework I've been trying to live by lately is like

what would I do if I were a kid but had all the resources and freedom I do now? (Sometimes this means playing at the park for hours, drawing, even buying a silly toy)

what would I do if I were a dog with human rights and resources? (choose whatever animal suits you best. This is just a fun way to live and helps me go on more walks)

also you're allowed to eat ice cream every day. twice per day, even.

I actually don’t like @jokinglydarkish and I think a least a few people can agree with me.

It’s pretty fucking obvious that they like Pelle and not just Pelle but Øystein and I don’t love Øystein but some of the art they make really pisses me off and here’s why.

Godbrother? Bro you gotta be shitting me. Saying stuff like “thanks for the inspiration” isn’t bad but GODBROTHER?! Dude you never even met the guy. And I know some of you might say “Bro just leave her alone 😩”, listen, if I said something normal for once and I said the same thing yall would flip the fuck out.

“He means a lot to me.” 😐. Ofc that pisses me off but FUCK it’s really annoying. You already know what I’m gonna say and how I’m going to go ON about this but, tbh it’s pretty fucking obvious that she likes him.

“I feel really good about how WE (her) could interact with Pelle.”, She is basically me but without the hate, she basically is saying she loves Pelle without saying she loves Pelle, so she makes these tiny hints like this and more, and she uses her art so people don’t really give a shit because if the art is good then no one cares.

The headcannon you have about Pelle in your head is that Pelle loves curly hair… and you have curly hair so it’s not really headcannon it’s just one of your little fantasies about Pelle playing with your hair. I could draw a photo of Pelle sleeping on me and say “Headcannon appeared in my head that Pelle accidentally falls asleep on ‘other people’.” When really it’s just one of my fantasies about him but I just reword it so it doesn’t seem like I like him so it isn’t really a headcannon it’s just one of your fantasies.

And I know what you’re gonna say, “It’s just someone sharing their personal problems and you shouldn’t make fun of that.” I’m not making fun of it, it just pisses me off. When you put stuff on social media people WILL make fun of you or have a problem with it no matter how important the post is and how dear it is to you, and no matter how many times you say “you shouldn’t be rude to others online” people will still be rude no matter what, it’s always been like that and it’s most likely not gonna change, and if you can’t handle it then just don’t post or delete the app.

But anyway, back to what I was saying, it’s pretty obvious why I don’t like this but I honestly wish I didn’t hate this because I know people have certain celebrities that that are comforting to them but I kinda don’t give a fuck.

That’s all I have of them that makes me mad but I think it’s REALLY obvious that they like Pelle and maybe Øystein. Like I said, if I made these same damn posts y’all would shame me so bad and say I’m cringe but when someone else likes Pelle and they make stuff like this people don’t care. Also if anyone has a problem with me making this post, fuck off, I can make posts like this if I want to, it’s my opinion and I just hate this person and I KNOW some people that do hate her too. I'm a little shy! But I would like to express my amazement and admiration! A while ago I found your Shadow Chase art, I loved it and became a fan, you create very funny stories and your art is beautiful, but that's not the point, I started following you because of that, but then I realized that you have many others projects and You are also very busy with your personal life. My question is how is everything organized and planned to advance a project despite academic/work responsibilities? I've seen that you even have collaborations with others and I keep thinking "this person is great." As a final note, I just want to leave my good wishes and hope you have a nice week. <3

Gosh, so many compliments in one ask, I‘m still a little loss for words. Thank you so much for reading my work and looking into my other projects, collabs and art! I hope you‘ve been enjoying them. ❤️ 

I think there is no denying that I need to organize myself a little bit to make everything work. I think I‘ve always used drawing, especially drawing comics, as a way to breathe and when I started uni I promised myself I would continue drawing somehow. The first semester was hell, but I finished all the way. 💪 And I had the same mindset for working, so when I started this year I was very motivated to draw. Lol I think it also helped that I had several different projects to work on so when I wasn’t in the mood for black and white I would move to something colorful. Comics also offer the possibility to work on different parts. Do I want to work on the story, on the storyboards, on the actual drawings or just editing…? A lot of options. And this is something which I heard on a video on AI but artist and creative people in general don‘t create in other to have more content but to get something out of their head and feel the satisfaction of creating a certain idea and I felt that very much. And then there is the joy of collabs and while there were unfortunately more failed attempts at collabs I’m very glad for those which eventually resulted in great projects. ❤️ I might have to take actual breaks from drawing when I get back to my thesis. I finished all the work but need to write the discussion part and wow, how much I don‘t wanna work on that. 

Currently I use my time on commutes for drawings digitally or making storyboards. In the evening I finish private stuff and when time is left I work on traditional art. Shadow Chase is the only project where I try to have an overview on how many pages I have done and want to finish before the next upload. Other works can usually go up once finished. When I create something for fan projects like zines, bigbangs, etc. I usually just try to finish said project right away. I don‘t like procrastinating (except my thesis I guess) and rather have stuff than can be finished done right away and focus on my other projects again.  Shades of Tourmaline was definitely my biggest collab project yet and with the amount of art planned it took like 3 years to finish because that was something I couldn‘t get done right away. 😂 fortunately clef was very patient with me (and kept me distracted with new collabs, oops). 

The short answer would be I try to draw as much as possible because it is just a lot of fun with the additional bonus of entertaining a few people. ❤️

it's about time i officially shared my design for Clip from my hairdresser au! here's the silly boi himself!

a.k.a. the most complicated character i've ever designed...

that's my boi, despite his crazy design, i love him. his silly top knot hat, the horn-like points around his faceplate, his speckled colours, his four arms, and his funky pants. he's just soooooo fun.

Clip likes to play games and knit! he even made the patchwork pants he wears (he made Sun and Moon a pair too, but they're too precious for them to wear... also a little gaudy to wear in public—doesn't stop Clip tho!). He actually makes everything the boys wear, since there's not a lot of things in their size/shape.

instead of resting at night, he can be found in their living room, playing Kirby 64 for the nth time and/or knitting something. he's just too restless to stay still, he's always gotta be doing something and if it isn't gaming, knitting, or hairdressing, then he's up to No GoodTM.

Clip... likes popping balloons. he says "Goodnight!" with each popped balloon and once he's done, he tosses up the scraps like confetti all while giggling joyfully.

needless to say, he is not fun at parties. Sun and Moon don't let him near balloons for this reason.

and yes, he has sewing needles on hand at all times. for fashion emergencies... and for unsuspecting balloons.

Clip's not allowed to have a phone (just imagine all the in-app purchases Sun and Moon would have to deal with), but he likes to keep up with his customers and their games, even if he doesn't get their fixation over bluenets he'll never openly admit it but he prefers curly-haired blond hunks that look sweet in soft pastels but could also squash him like the spider he is

also, he's great at microbraiding! though i imagine if Sun and Moon are free, they'd come help to shorten the wait but also to compete and see who braids the most (Clip always wins of course—make anything into a game, and he's winning)

aaaaand there's this! i wanted to make sure Clip would be able to freely rotate his waist so his arms could have their full range of motion, and this was the solution i came up with: a crop top on top and a wrap around his waist. and Clip here is being a sneaky little scamp about it.
