Financial Planning for Women Coral Springs
Financial Planning for Women is essential for everyone. While the fundamental principles of financial planning apply to both genders, there are certain considerations and challenges that may be more pertinent to women. Here are some key aspects of financial planning for women:
Set Clear Financial Goals:
Identify short-term and long-term financial goals, such as buying a home, funding education, retirement planning, or starting a business.
Emergency Fund:
Build an emergency fund to cover at least three to six months' worth of living expenses. This fund can provide a financial cushion in case of unexpected events like job loss or medical emergencies.
Budgeting:
Create a budget to track income and expenses. This helps in managing money effectively and identifying areas where expenses can be reduced or optimized.
Investing:
Learn about different investment options, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and real estate. Diversify investments to spread risk and consider your risk tolerance and financial goals.
Retirement Planning:
Contribute regularly to retirement accounts, such as a 401(k) or an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). Take advantage of employer-sponsored retirement plans and seek professional advice for retirement planning.
Insurance:
Review and update insurance coverage regularly. This includes health insurance, life insurance, and disability insurance. Adequate coverage can protect against unexpected financial setbacks.
Estate Planning:
Develop an estate plan, including a will, power of attorney, and healthcare directives. Ensure that beneficiaries are updated on financial accounts and insurance policies.
Salary Negotiation:
Negotiate for fair compensation and benefits. Women, on average, have faced historical wage gaps, and actively negotiating salaries can contribute to closing this gap.
Education and Career Development:
Invest in education and skills development to enhance career opportunities. Continuous learning can improve earning potential and job security.
Financial Literacy:
Educate yourself about personal finance. Understand terms like compound interest, investment strategies, and tax implications. Financial literacy empowers individuals to make informed decisions.
Plan for Life Transitions:
Consider the financial implications of life events such as marriage, divorce, or having children. Planning ahead can help manage these transitions more smoothly.
Network and Seek Support:
Build a professional network and seek advice from mentors or financial advisors. Sharing experiences and learning from others can provide valuable insights.
Healthcare Planning:
Plan for healthcare expenses, including preventive care, and consider the financial implications of any ongoing health conditions. Health savings accounts (HSAs) can be beneficial for managing medical costs.
Debt Management:
Develop a strategy for managing and reducing debt. High-interest debts can impede financial progress, so prioritizing debt repayment is crucial.
Social Security and Other Benefits:
Understand the implications of Social Security benefits and other government programs. Consider how these factors may impact retirement income.
It's important for women to be proactive in their financial planning, seeking professional advice when needed and continuously reassessing their financial goals and strategies as circumstances change. Each person's financial situation is unique, so tailoring a plan to individual needs and priorities is crucial.

When Is the Best Occasion to Hire a Real Estate Lawyer?
Getting into a real estate transaction is not an easy thing to do; buying or selling a property requires the needed knowledge to make it a success. It should be noted that transactions like this involve some serious amount of money; this is why you need to review your to-do list before accepting any deal.
One very important consideration you need to decide for is whether you hire a real estate lawyer or not. For sure, when you are just new to this business, it will be hard for you to decide on the matter – will I hire a one? Or should I just have an agent to work with me? (perhaps you ask) Well, it could be hard for you to choose but I am giving below some of the deciding factors that could help you make the right decision.
So, going back to the threshold question:When is the best occasion to hire a real estate lawyer?
The following reasons can help you make the most appropriate decision for your unique situation:
When you face legal issues– he is the right person Tenant Attorney Coral Springs to go to, when legal issues arise involving your transaction; he can make judgment to legal questions – which an agent cannot. For instance, you are negotiating for a property with an existing owner-tenant legal issue, your lawyer can give you the most appropriate legal advice on whether your plan is feasible or not.
When you need to learn about real estate language– you could encounter a lot of terms that are ‘foreign’ to you in the real estate world most especially if you are just new in this kind of venture. This could cause possible trouble in the future – you might be accepting deals that you are not supposed to accept because you lack the information. A lawyer can review your documents and explain those unfamiliar terms concerning purchase contract or mortgage before you sign it.
When legal dispute is apparent – a lawyer works with you to avoid any legal disputes as much as possible; however, should occasion calls for it, you can be best helped by no less than by a lawyer who is expert. Some of the most common legal matters that a lawyer can help include title issues, easement and license disputes, broker and agent commission disputes.
So, I have just shared you some useful insights about when a real estate lawyer can help you for property buy or sell. Hope these could help you come up with the right decision.

My new JG holiday fanfic, “Fun in Acapulco” 🌞🎅🌲🌶
It was mid-December in 1964- Judy Garland was taking her final bows at the prestigious London Palladium.
Judy and her eldest daughter, Liza were performing there in concert for a solid week. Miss Garland's English audience showered the mother and daughter team with love, admiration, and rousing applause. Let's face it, London adored Judy. And it was a mutual love affair. Miss Show Business beloved her British fans. And she developed many good, close friendships with a few devotees who were founders of Judy's biggest fan club based in England.
Christmas was just around the corner and Judy and Liza flew back to New York to relax for a few days. After the twosome settled into their suite at the Regency Hotel on 61st Street in Manhattan, Judy telephoned her younger children Lorna and Joey. They were staying with their dad, Sid Luft in California since her London concert tour. To Judy's shock, Sid's attorney answered the phone at her soon-to-be her ex-husband's Los Angeles residence. He callously told her that there was a court ruling stating that Sid had full custody rights of the children. And that he had taken Lorna and Joe to Palm Springs for the holidays. He added that the children wanted to be with their dad for Christmas. Judy briskly hung up the phone and informed Liza of the current situation.
"That louse has kidnapped the children."
"What's goin on Mama?" Liza sympathetically asked. She couldn't help but see Judy's peeved expression on her face.
"Sid. He got the damned Santa Monica court to rule in his favor about keeping Lorna and Joe away from me, that's what!" Judy exclaimed.
"Oh, no. How could he do this to you Mama...and right before Christmas!" Liza uttered.
"Because darling, Sid Luft is a devious, heartless human being. This is his way of getting back at me for divorcing him." Judy quipped, lighting a cigarette.
Liza shook her head.
"But, he's not going to get away with it. I'm calling my attorney."
Just then, as Judy reached for the phone..it started to ring. She abruptly answered the call, thinking it may be Sid on the other line.
"Hello, who's is this?"
"Hello Judy, it's Lana." a soft voice perkily replied.
"Lana...Oh my goodness.. it's lovely to hear from you. Darling, how are you?" Judy warmly spoke up.
"I'm doing well, thank you. My agent told me sweetie that you and Liza were in New York. And it just so happens that I'm in Manhattan too for a few days, so I thought I'd give you a ring to say hello and ask if you both would like to spend Christmas with me and Cheryl in Acapulco.. that is if you don't already have other plans?"
Judy’s luscious brown eyes widened.
“Acapulco? That sounds marvelous darling. I really didn’t have big plans for Christmas this year, Liza and I are so beat from our London concerts engagements. And my younger children are spending the holidays with their father...’’
“So, is that a yes? Oh, Judy you’ll love Mexico this time of year. You and I can relax on the beach and Cheryl and Liza can shop and boy-watch.” Lana giggled.
“That does sound like the kind of vacation Liza would enjoy." Judy replied with a chuckle.
“Wonderful!” Lana said.
“But, I’m not sure if I should go. My press agent may have some interviews lined up for me here in New York..’’ Judy expressed.
“Oh, Judy all work and no play isn’t healthy..” Lana quickly remarked.
Liza, over hearing the conversation in the room.. sprinted over to her mother and rambled in a whisper, “Say yes Mama! It’ll be fun! I've never been to Acapulco!"
Judy flashed a motherly eye roll.
"Letting Liza out in Mexico could be disastrous." Judy mused.
However, she never could say ‘No’ to her children, so Judy accepted Lana’s invitation.
“Alright, you’ve convinced me girlfriend. And my teenage daughter."
"Great! I'll pick you both up on my way to the airport a week from today!" Lana cheerfully replied.
"Ok, darling. Marvelous."
"Till then love. Bye."
"Bye-bye" Judy uttered before hanging up the phone.
By now, Liza was dancing around the room with a broad smile on her pretty face.
"Ok, darling we have lots to do before we take off for Mexico. I have to call my business manager, agents, and have my hair done." Judy declared.
Liza nodded, then in a burst of enthusiasm exclaimed, "And I have to pack my French bikini!"
The airline flight to Mexico was a glorious one for all three ladies. No turbulence and the stewardesses kept plying them with tasty desserts and asking for autographs. It helped Judy take her mind off the fact that Lorna and Joey wouldn’t be spending Christmas with her and Liza. And the minute the girls stepped off the jet, there was a sleek, black limousine waiting there for them on the tarmac.
“Thank Goodness, I brought my sunnies with me. It’s so bright and warm here!’’ Judy vocalized, slipping on a dark pair of cat eye shades.
Lana grinned. “Sunnies?’’
“You know, sunglasses.” Judy matter-of- factly replied.
“Oh, I see. Now, I recall that’s what the British call em don’t they? Well, you can’t live without them down here darling. It’s year around sunshine south of the border.” Lana said with a giggle, putting on her large tortoise print shades.
“I’m not used to it. I’ve been living in England for too long I guess. Mr. Sun doesn’t make an appearance there..”
Lana and Liza chuckled, following Judy into the town car.
Lana was the perfect hostess. The moment Judy and Liza entered the gorgeous beach villa in Acapulco they were showered with attention and shown a good time. The striking blonde actress gifted them with colorful sombreros, embroidered Mexican dresses, and beautiful Mexican opal necklaces. The coral and white stucco home was decked out with hanging Christmas lights and boasted an enormous, sparkling swimming pool with cabanas. And it was only a short walk to the pristine ocean.
Lana enjoyed showing the girls around town and took them to a quaint outside marketplace where they splurged on ice cream and taquitos And they browsed at a few street art vendors. Judy bought a colorful canvas for 1,000 pesos from a local artist because the children in the painting reminded her of Lorna and Joey.
Lana’s 21-year-old daughter Cheryl drove Liza around Acapulco and the two enjoyed taco bar lunches in town while Judy and Lana lounged on the quiet white sandy beach soaking up the plentiful sunshine.
The villa’s living room was filled with an array of bright festive flowers and there was a beautiful garland draped on top of the colorful Spanish tile fireplace. She ordered a gigantic white Christmas tree which almost touched the ceiling! Cheryl and Liza decorated the tree while listening to Elvis records on the stereo.
On Christmas Eve, Lana threw a small dinner party for a few close friends who were visiting the region. Noel Coward, Ava Gardner, and Ricardo Montalban were among the tight guest list, as was 28-year-old actor Robert Redford. Judy had met him and Elizabeth Ashley backstage after their performance in the Broadway hit play, Barefoot in the Park the year before in New York. The strawberry-blond actor wasn't very talkative nor overtly receptive to Judy but his eyes were fixed on her all evening. He didn’t seem to take notice of the other beautiful ladies, including the villa’s charming hostess. Which was especially odd, because Lana Turner made a spectacular entrance. Glamorously dressed in a tight-fitting, very chic Edith Head original frock along with several diamond bracelets adorning her wrists.
Lady charmer Noel complimented her fine taste in clothes and the spicy rum cocktails that were on hand. Ricardo asked Judy to dance while a little mariachi band played outside on the patio. And Liza sang a favorite Broadway show tune at the piano. Before long, everybody was singing Christmas carols and sipping eggnog. And Judy was asked to sing, 🎶Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas🎶 Then, Ms. Turner’s guests were served an elegant authentic Mexican dinner in the villa’s dining room by the best black-tie caterers in town. After dinner, everyone went back into the living room to talk and play records.
At one point, Judy excused herself and took off for the guest room to repair a nylon tear. Entering the room, she was utterly surprised to see Robert Redford reclining on top of the bed in the room with a wine glass in his hand.
“Hi. I’ve just been sitting here thinking of you.” he composedly voiced.
"Oh My Goodness..you startled me dear!" Judy replied with an uneasy giggle.
Robert slid off the bed like a stealth cougar and placed his glass on a nearby table.
"I want to make love to you." the handsome young man directly uttered.
“What?" Judy gasped.
Robert let out a haughty little laugh.
"You act like I’m the first guy that’s ever said that to you at a Hollywood party.”
‘‘Well, it’s been a-while.’‘ Judy quipped.
Robert burst out in laughter.
“First of all, we’re not in Hollywood and secondly, I don’t make it a habit to make love to strange men at dinner parties.” Judy saucily retorted.
Robert smirked and quickly maneuvered over to Judy, while unfastening his cuff links.
"But, we're not strangers. Don't you remember, we met in New York last year.. backstage after my performance in "Barefoot in the Park?"
"Yes, I remember. But, I still don't know you well enough to accept your hasty invitation. Not to say that I'm not flattered..."Judy said in a teasing manner.
"So, you're turning me down?"
"I'm sorry darling, but I do find you resistible." Judy said playfully fastening his necktie.
"Me? You've got to be kidding. Why I'm the hottest young star in show business." he exclaimed in a joking way.
Judy just grinned, seeing through Robert's star complex facade.
"Well, I guess I better go now. It's getting late and did you know there's still a party going on out there?" Robert bantered.
Judy chuckled watching the young man make his way out of her bedroom.
"Merry Christmas darling." she added.
"You know, you're a woman of high values." he stated looking back and then quietly walked out of the room.
Judy didn't say a word to anyone about the little episode between Robert and herself. She spent the rest of the evening yakking with Lana and Ava about clothes and ex-husbands. Young Mr. Redford left the swaray early and sped off in his little red sports car.
The next day, Christmas day ..Judy slept in till 1 p.m. Liza and Cheryl spent the day relaxing on the beach with Lana and later Judy joined them. That evening, the ladies feasted on a tamale pie that Judy baked out of leftovers in the fridge and watched an old Christmas movie on television.
The following day, Lana drove Judy and Liza back to the airport. The gals exchanged hugs and said their 'goodbyes' before Ms. Garland and Liza scooted off into the terminal to catch their flight. While they were hurrying over to the correct gate, Judy's suitcase buckle snapped open and everything inside spilled out on the floor. A good-looking kindhearted passerby went over to assist Judy in need.
“Here let me help you senora.” he politely said in a thick South American accent.
“Thank you so much. It’s the first time this has ever happened to me.” Judy anxiously replied.
The brown eyed man knelt down and helped Judy put her belongings back into her luggage. And then, the gentleman took off a luggage strap he had on his suitcase and wrapped it around her baggage.
‘’I’m sure that will hold everything together now.” he uttered.
Judy graciously thanked him and took some money out of her purse to repay him for his kindness.
“Please, there’s no need to repay me. It was my pleasure to help a pretty lady in distress.’’
“You’re very sweet. Thank you again.’’
The handsome stranger flashed a big, buoyant smile.
Judy and Liza brightly smiled back at him and then continued on their way to their flight’s boarding gate.
“What a lovely man..” Judy said looking back.
‘’Yes, and don’t you think he looks a little like Gene Kelly?’’ Liza bubbly interjected.
Judy chuckled.
“Yes, darling.. he does!"
Liza nodded, clutching her satchel. "Well, they say everyone has a double."
The End

George Floyd protests continue across the nation, but stay mostly peaceful
3m ago From Miami to Coral Springs, peaceful protests call for change
From Miami to Coral Springs, hundreds of protesters marched through the streets on Tuesday calling for change. They want more police accountability and an end to racism.
CBS Miami reports that during the marches, the protesters pretty much policed themselves. People on bicycles blocked traffic and if there was a rowdy protester, that person was told to calm down.
In Miami, protesters marched from the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office to Wynwood and back. Organizers said they want prosecutors to not fear charging officers for breaking laws.
Another protest was held near Coral Springs Charter High School. It was planned by two teenage Pakistani Americans who said they are familiar with oppression.
Organizers of protests said they don’t plan on slowing down.
Miami-Dade and Broward County officials are considering keeping night-time curfews in place through the weekend.
15m ago At least 9,300 people arrested since George Floyd’s death, according to AP tally
At least 9,300 people have been arrested in protests across the country since the killing of George Floyd, according to a tally by The Associated Press.
Los Angeles has recorded 2,700 arrests since the protests, followed by New York with about 1,500. Police in Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia have also arrested several hundred people.
The count reflects how much police activity has surrounded the protests that have engulfed cities from coast to coast.
40m ago Fewer arrests on second night of New York City’s curfew
New York City’s second night of curfew still had people on the streets, but judging by the number of arrests things were much quieter than the night before. The NYPD said approximately 200 people were arrested – compared to about 700 the night before, CBS New York reports.
Some looting was reported, and protesters defied the curfew.
As the sun went down Tuesday evening, police blocked traffic below 96th Street in Manhattan for the 8 p.m. curfew – an effort to curb looting and violence that has broken out at nightfall.
The curfew will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. every night for the rest of the week. Patrols are doubled and officers are working 12-hour shifts.
“If people are going about their business or people are on their way home, we understand that,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio. “The curfew is there to allow the police to be able to address any situation where someone is trying to do violence to a person or property.”
Police tried and failed to stop a large group from crossing the Manhattan Bridge, which connects Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn.
Protesters denouncing police brutality and systemic racism are kept in place on the Manhattan Bridge by police for hours during a citywide curfew in New York City.

7:50 AM Statue of ex-Philadelphia mayor many saw as racist removed
The Frank Rizzo statue in Philadelphia’s Center City was removed overnight, CBS Philly reported on Wednesday morning. It was vandalized during protests over George Floyd’s death. There were also attempts to tear it down.
The statue of the former mayor, which has stood on the steps of Philadelphia’s Municipal Services Building for over a decade, was removed around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Crews used a crane to lift the 2,000-pound, 10-foot tall bronze statue and take it away. It happened under the watchful eyes of the National Guard and very few other onlookers.
The former police commissioner and two-term mayor was a controversial figure in Philadelphia. The South Philly native is remembered by supporters as a devoted, outspoken public servant. But Rizzo’s critics, many of them people of color, say his approach to policing and governing was corrupt and racist.
7:44 AM Denver police officer fired for “Let’s start a riot” post during George Floyd protest
A Denver police officer was fired Tuesday for posting a photo this weekend of himself and two other officers in tactical gear with the caption “Let’s start a riot” in the middle of demonstrations over the killing of George Floyd. Officer Thomas McClay was fired for violating the department’s social media policy.
McClay was terminated just a day after an internal affairs investigation was launched. The department’s social media policy which bars officers from making posts that could impair the department’s “working relationships” or the performance of their duties.
An image purportedly posted by a Denver police officer shows three officers dressed in riot gear with a caption that states “Let’s start a riot.”
CBS Denver
McClay, who joined the department in October after graduating from the department’s academy, could not be immediately reached for comment.

6:59 AM Retired St. Louis police captain killed during unrest sparked by George Floyd death
A retired St. Louis police captain who became a small-town police chief was killed by people who broke into a pawn shop after protests turned violent, authorities said. David Dorn, 77, was found dead on the sidewalk in front of Lee’s Pawn & Jewelry about 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
No arrests have been made.
The shooting and theft apparently was posted on Facebook Live, but the video has since been taken down. It came on a violent night in St. Louis, where four officers were shot, officers were pelted with rocks and fireworks, and 55 businesses were burglarized or damaged, including a convenience store that burned.
Police also shot and gravely injured a burglary suspect who they say shot at officers.

Updated 6:51 AM Protests in top virus hot spots spur fears of new COVID spikes
As people flood streets across America to protest the killing of George Floyd, public health experts fear the crowds, tear gas and arrests will lead to new transmissions of coronavirus.
An Associated Press review found that in the last week, there have been demonstrations in every one of the 25 American communities with the highest concentrations of new virus cases. Some have seen major protests over multiple days.
The protests come as communities across the nation loosen restrictions on businesses and public life that have helped slow the virus’ spread, deepening concern that the two taken together could create a resurgence in cases nationally.
6:10 AM Oklahoma State linebacker has coronavirus after attending Floyd rally
Oklahoma State linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga says he tested positive for COVID-19 after he attended a protest in Tulsa. Ogbongbemiga made the announcement in a Twitter post.
The 21-year-old Ogbongbemiga says he protected himself during the protest. “Please, if you are going to protest, take care of yourself and stay safe,” he wrote.
After attending a protest in Tulsa AND being well protective of myself, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Please, if you are going to protest, take care of yourself and stay safe.

One commenter to the post observed: “I dont think you got it at the protest.. if you weren’t wearing a mask you may have spread it but covid has a long intubation period and symptoms don’t just appear that fast… praying you recover quickly.. we honestly won’t know the impact of covid from this for 2 weeks.”

6:07 AM Buffalo woman charged for driving car into police officers
A Buffalo woman is facing felony charges after she drove a car through a group of police officers, injuring three of them.
Deyanna Davis, 31, was arrested Tuesday by New York State Police after she was released from the hospital, NYSP said in a statement.
Davis faces five felony charges, including aggravated assault upon a police officer and 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Of the three officers injured, two are NYSP officers and one is with the Buffalo Police Department.
Buffalo Mayor Bryan Brown announced Tuesday that the Buffalo police officer who was struck by the car is in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery, according to CBS News affiliate WIVB’s Marlee Tuskes.
6:06 AM Jim Clyburn says Trump has contributed to more “American carnage” than any president in his lifetime
South Carolina Representative Jim Clyburn on Tuesday criticized President Trump over a Monday photo op. Police cleared protesters before Washington D.C.’s curfew went into effect so that Mr. Trump could walk unimpeded to a nearby church to pose for photos with a bible.
Rep. Jim Clyburn: Trump has contributed to American carnage
“It seems as if the president considers the exercise of one’s First Amendment rights to be carnage,” Clyburn said Tuesday on CBSN’s “Red & Blue” program. “How we define it, generally, he has contributed to it more than any president in my lifetime. I don’t think any president since maybe Woodrow Wilson.”
Speaking about the death of Geroge Floyd and Minnesota’s decision to open a civil rights investigation into the Minnesota Police Department, Clyburn said, “We have to begin to take action here. We can’t allow these things to continue to happen.”

ROGER YEAST…..UPDATING HEAVEN’S ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
ROGER YEAST…..UPDATING HEAVEN’S ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - https://keywestlou.com/roger-yeast-updating-heavens-electrical-system/Another Key West friend has moved on. Roger Yeast. I received the sad news yesterday from his wife Cheryl. Roger and Cheryl were Key West snowbirds for many years. I met them when I first purchased a home in Key West close to 30 years ago. We became "members" of the Chart Room and Square One Restaurant. Roger a party person. No question about it. Enjoyed life. Wife Cheryl lovely. The dutiful wife. Always attentive to Roger's needs and made sure he was always the happy camper. The two originally from Kankakee, Illinois. Roger a top notch electrician. Began an electrical company that grew by leaps and bounds. Today, operated by their sons. A few years ago, Roger and Cheryl moved from Kankakee and Key West to Cape Coral. We saw less of each other as a result. Their Key West visits significantly fewer. Though there was a connection that never failed. Cheryl kept in touch via the blog. She loyally read it each day. If the morning went by and I had not published yet, she wrote inquiring where was it, my health, etc. Whereas Roger made me drink too much, Cheryl made me smile. No blog by noon, Cheryl would write what she described as her "daily fix." Where was it on such a day? My condolences Cheryl. You and Roger made a wonderful couple. I hope you will occasionally visit us in Key West. Hurry! I am much older than Roger. I would not want to miss seeing you again. A Citizens' Voice comment this morning: "All over the world places ranging from other cities like Amsterdam and Barcelona to tourist towns like Sonoma, Cape Cod, and the Oregon Coast, are taking concrete steps to limit over-tourism. Here in the Keys, we continue to spend $50 million plus a year advertising for more tourists." Oh, how the Keys loved Harry Truman. And he loved the Keys in return, especially Key West. On this day in 1964, the former President dedicated a bridge at Duck Key which had been named after him. Spring breakers continue to be a problem in certain Florida locations First it was Miami. Big time problems there! Now, Panama City. Officials arrested 78 persons and confiscated 75 guns from rampaging spring breakers. Officials called the number and types of guns enough to "arm a small army." One non-fatal shooting has occurred. A spring breaker from Alabama the shooter. Those causing problems were described as "troublemakers." Referred to as "panamaniacs." Officials claimed the group was being orchestrated by specific influencers online. The Key West Dairy Queen has been a part of Key West for many years. It was already doing business when I arrived 30 years ago. There are roughly 3,000 stores nationwide. Seventy two percent are owned by Warren Buffett's holding company Berkshire Hathaway. I do not believe the Key West one is. Buffett's Dairy Queens have launched a burger line. Five different type burgers which will be sold as part of its Dairy Queen operation. Will Trump ever get indicted? For anythng! He has stepped over the line so oiften that it seems impossible for him not to be. While the January 6 Committee is working hard, Attorney General Merrick Garland appears to be sitting on his ass. I warned when he was nominated this could happen. Good judges do not necessarily make good prosecutors. Judges take too long to make up their minds and before anything happens must be sure all t's are crossed and all i's dotted. A federal judge may have put Garland on the spot. Sort of a shit or get off the pot thing. Monday Federal Judge David Carter ruled that former President Trump had "more likely than not" attempted to illegally obstruct Congress....based on the evidence." William Gladstone wrote, "Justice delayed is justice denied." So true. Especially with regards to Trump's wrongdoings which seem to take forever to pursue. Makes one wonder is Trump will walk away fre from responsibility for his wrongdoings. I suspect Judge Cater's decision will now accelerate matters. Americans want to know what happened, who was responsible, etc. Two comments in YouTube this morning speak to the problem. The first "until the words 'Trump' and 'indicted' for multiple federal crimes appear in the same sentence, I won't hold my breath." The other: "Either everyone is accountable under the law, or no one." Washington Post columnist Charles M. Bloom in an article published this morning re Judge Jackson noted that Senate Judiciary Committee hearings for Supreme Court nominees have "long drifted into the realm of inconsequential theater." Right on, Bloom! Tuesday again. Arrives promptly every week. Brings with it my blog talk radio show Tuesday Talk with Key West Lou. Nine ths evening. Much to discuss this week. Sins of many many. You will enjoy my ranting and raving. I get a lot off my chest. www/keywestlou.com/key-west-lou. Enjoy your day!
