It's five on the morning in Iceland and I can't sleep. The world is teetering on the edge of a terrible madness, not just across the waters but here too. When did we get so self-hateful? Why have so many of our fellow humans embraced the thanotic song of unthinking death?
I want to sleep and wake up in a slightly brighter world but the darkness seems to thicken by the day.
I'm not sure lighting a candle will be enough.
