Friends To Lovers - Two characters have been friends for years and value their friendship above everything. Unfortunately, they’ve both also secretly fallen in love with each other - but are both too scared to confess because it feels like a betrayal of their friendship.
Secret Identity - Characters A & B have secret alter egos- they’re both in love with the wrong identity.
Whump - A character is comforted/cared for in the aftermath of torture, but the mental wounds take longer to heal than the physical damage.
Coffee Shop/Restaurant AU - Character A is waiting for a blind date and is stood up. Character B is just finishing up their shift at the establishment and, seeing the looks that A is getting, offers to stay and eat with them despite their own exhaustion.
Famous AU - Character A meets Character B for the first time and recognizes their voice as A’s favourite podcaster/radio host/voice actor.
Teacher AU - Character A is a single parent and Character B is their child’s teacher.
Historical AU - The characters are living through a historical war (WWI, WWII, etc). Their main means of communication is through letter-writing. (Epistolary fic with optional in-person scenes between/after letters.)
Time Loop/Coma - Character A is in a coma and keeps reliving the last day before they lost consciousness. There’s something they have to realise before they can wake up.
5 + 1 - 5 times Character A’s kid calls Character B Mom/Dad + 1 time Character B acknowledges they’re their kid.
Drunk Dial - Character A is obsessed with Character B and gets black-out drunk to deal with it. Someone should definitely have taken away their phone.
Business Partners To Friends To Lovers - Character A and Character B meet by chance and, realising they have compatible skills, decide to embark on a business venture together. However, they are not prepared for all the ramifications that come with working alongside each other.
Touch Starvation - A character has spent years building up a tough, strong, untouchable persona. What happens when someone finally touches them gently? (Can be romantic or platonic.)

Human/Monster Romance - Character A is a human and Character B is a sapient sea creature, and a storm washes them both up and leaves them stranded on a tiny, remote, uninhabited island.
Dating App - Character A’s friends sign them up for a no-faces dating app. Reluctantly, Character A meets someone. Character B is a bit worried about them meeting strangers so they tell their own dating-app friend all about it. (Or: the Bantr app fic)
Reunions - Two characters reunite many years after a traumatic parting, but new information is revealed that puts everything into a different light.
Love Confession - Character A has been in love with Character B for a long time, and they’ve been trying to confess ever since, but Character B is oblivious to their attempts (or doesn’t believe they are serious). This leads to Character A making increasingly more elaborate and even ridiculous plans to prove their feelings.
Mind Reading - Character A is involved in an incident and can suddenly hear the thoughts of people around them - but only when those people are thinking about Character A. That’s unfortunately bad news for Character B.
Disaster AU - Character(s) get trapped under a collapsing building and have to wait for help without knowing if it’s coming.
Horror - Characters A & B reunite, but slowly Character B realises that Character A’s body is being controlled by… something else.
Age Changes/Future Fic - Characters A & B are old together. Some things change but some things always stay the same.
Major Character Death (maybe!) - Character A is dead. Everything reminds Character B of them. (Character death doesn’t need to be permanent.)
Mythology - Character A is an immortal being/god and Character B is the only mortal who’s interacted with them in centuries.
Accidental Baby Acquisition - Character A rescues a baby/kid, and is then made responsible for the child. Character B is unprepared when they bring them home.
Not Actually Unrequited Love - Character A is trying to move on from Character B by setting B up on a date. Unfortunately, Character B takes this as confirmation that their own feelings for A are not returned.
Fake Dating - Character B pretends to be Character A’s partner so they can stay together while A is sick/injured. The charade goes on far longer than either of them expect. Finally being apart should be a relief, so why does it feel more like a real breakup?
Sexuality Crisis - A repressed character in a homophobic society finds themselves thrust into a city’s underground gay scene, where they meet someone they never expected.
Holidays - Character A’s family is expecting them to bring a date to the annual holiday family reunion. They choose to bring Character B (dating optional).
Regency Style Romance - ‘It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single person in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a spouse.’ (Feel free to change gender as needed.)
Optional:
Hanahaki Disease - Character A is not good at expressing their emotions - this time it might just kill them.
Cowboy/Wild West AU - Character A wants to leave the city. They answer to a newspaper ad for a spouse/farm hand to live on a remote homestead owned by Character B.
Free Space - write the wildest thing you can think of!

I just posted Dally headcanons but I’m bored sooo
Darry Curtis Headcanons
This guy was either going to do something to do with sports or teaching in college
Would of become a athlete trainee or physical therapist
Basically just take any job that involves sports or helping people
Maybe even a coach or gym teacher
Once Ponyboy and Soda go off into the world, he would go to community college or night classes to get a degree
It wouldn’t be as big of a degree as everyone has expect he would get but at least it gives him a foot into a better job
He is autistic. Undiagnosed. No one really picked up on it because sports is his special interest which is normal for kids and teenage boys
He is kinda of like Dally where he just pushes through his sensory issues and they keep building up until he snaps, most likely at Ponyboy
Honestly I might make a seperate post just to ramble about all my autistic Darry headcanons
He doesn’t cry often but sometimes he just goes into his parents old room and just cries while his brothers are asleep
He misses his parents so bad but he has to be strong for his brothers
I’m not saying him and Paul use to date back when his parents are alive but I’m also not not saying that
It only lasted a few months and then his parents died and Paul left
Most of these have been angsty so time for some silly one to lighten the mood
Ponyboy and Soda convinced Darry to dress up as superman for Halloween one year and it was the greatest moment for the rest of the gang
Him and Pony used to be best friends when Pony was little. He just loved when Darry would lift him up high and make him “fly”
Sometimes Darry thinks about back when they didn’t use to argue and miss it
Wait I said I wasn’t going to do any more angst headcanons for Darry but that one just slipped out
Darry would make sure that he saves up small bits of his pay to be able to buy Ponyboy a book every once in a while
I have so many headcanons for Darry because he is on my top three favourites so maybe I will make a part two one day

I love movie Charles Xavier, but comic Charles should NOT have been allowed in charge of students. Anyway, I have a LOT of thoughts about Charles as a parent who is trying his best but he does not know how to raise a kid. So here are my thoughts on what was going through his mind when he made the decisions he did.
They put you in charge of children. There are so many of them with tiny little faces and impressionable little minds and it is your job to protect them. To teach them how to protect themselves. The world hates them, wants to crush them just for existing and it’s your job to be their shield until they can be their own sword. You are one man and there are so many of them.
There used to be Erik. It was supposed to be the two of you together, him on the offensive while you protected the homefront. A team working together so that your kind could be safe, but Erik left and now it is just you.
You do not know how to be a parent. When they come to you with skinned knees and hurt feelings, are you supposed to soothe their aches or teach them how to face them? Thinking back to your own parents, you only remember being tossed aside and told to deal with it. What are you supposed to do? You decide that the world will be cruel and so you should teach them how to face the pain head on and keep going. You decide it is time to teach them how to fight. Later they will tell you this is a mistake. Your children will never forgive you from turning from their father to their drill sergeant. This is the day you go from a family to an army joining the war. They are too young for this conflict.
Little Jean does not know how to deal with the voices in her head. There are so many and they ricochet and clash against her thoughts. Something in your heart aches for this young girl and the familiar pain but you do not have time to address it. You teach her how to build up the wall in her mind, how to block the others out. You tell her all you have learned of how others will distrust her for her power, how she must be careful so she is not hated. You do not notice the tears forming in her eyes or the little arms reaching out for a hug. You have already turned away to address the next crisis. There is only one of you and so many children.
You don’t know when Scott started calling you Proffesor instead of Dad. When he stopped coming to you with his nightmares and headaches. You tried everything you could to help him but it wasn’t enough. Children need reassurance, clear affection and love, something you’ve never really been able to express. How do you tell them that you are proud of all they have accomplished? You give Scott command of the team, trying to communicate how you believe he can do this, how strong he is. You do not see his shoulders droop as another responsibility rests on them. He is a child and he is a soldier and he must protect his people. He weilds himself like a shield not caring for his own safety in an attempt to make you proud. He does not know that you already are.
Erik has children now. Two little girls and a boy, all mutants. They follow him like ducklings, showing off for their father and squabbling with each other. You think fondly back to the days when your little ones would trail after your wheelchair, all clambering for your attention. When did they stop? Your children have grown from tiny breakable little things into battle hardened soldiers. The whole world looks to them as the face of mutant kind. They can not take a step out of line or mutants everywhere will face the consequences of humanity’s fickle temper. It was not supposed to be this way. They were supposed to be children and the adults would protect them. What changed?
You know what changed. Erik left and you broke. You do not know how to be a father, how to do this alone. You are a teacher and you have learned how to be a general, how to be a politician, wielding people like chess pieces in a greater game. But somewhere along the way you lost sight; for these are not pawns, they are your wards, your students, your sons and daughters. They return from their missions weary and injured, something in their spirits breaking.
You were given children and raised soldiers. You are Charles Xavier: teacher, politician, activist, and general, but you have not earned the title of father.

Accentuations of Nigel and Alex.
*Accentuation of personality is the personality traits that tend to move to a pathological condition. Possible negative aspects of such state between normal and pathology usually occur under the influence of unfavorable external factors.
I had the option to use the Leonhard type classification, but it is quite outdated and has some inaccuracies, so I used the Lichko classification. According to Lichko’s classification, all types are described in more detail, and the classification itself is more popular. I haven’t found any more common or newer classifications. In addition, the Lichko system is more applicable to teenagers, so I think the choice is more justified.
If we look at the film directly, without taking into account any guesswork. Nigel has the traits of Schizoid, Paranoid and Epileptoid. Alex Hysteroid with paranoid traits.
Nigel, as we know, is a mentally and physically developed person, he is of normal build. He is consistent, attentive to details, calm, careful in his notes and clothes. He has a difficult relationship with his parents, who raised him in conditions of increased moral responsibility. In addition, there may have been a harsh upbringing because Nigel is able to tell by ear whether his Father is picking up a gun. In addition, he hates his father, which can also indicate that their relationship had a harsh upbringing and increased demands. However, everything seems to be fine on the mother’s side, because he talks to her about what he cannot tell his father.
These types of unwanted upbringing and family environment can provoke accentuations close to psychopathy.
Nigel is definitely and predominantly typed as Schizoid. Nigel is shown to us as essentially withdrawn. He is mostly isolated from others, he does not want (more likely does not want than is not able) to establish contacts with peers, he has a reduced need for communication. He is cold and does have the untypical restraint for a teenager. Spiritual loneliness does not particularly bother him, because the only contact he established was only with Alex and only when he decided that Alex was worthy of this very contact. Nigel lives in his own world, with his own unusual interests and hobbies. Hobbies of an intellectual and aesthetic nature are characteristic of a schizoid. All this is never done for show, only for oneself.
Despite the fact that Nigel conditionally penetrates Alex's thoughts, he still does not intuitively grasp the hostile attitude towards himself and when he should not impose his presence.
The inner world, as already indicated, is always closed from prying eyes and only in front of a select few the curtain can suddenly be lifted. Interests are shared in exceptional cases. Perhaps Nigel, in a lesson where Alex was arguing with the teacher, saw a hint of a common interest between them. Alex is the chosen one for Nigel, so he begins to actively draw him into his inner world in all available ways.
In addition, as we can observe, Nigel's behavior is quite contradictory. At first he was silent and looked closely, then he opened up and gave Alex smiles more than once.
In addition, Nigel has clear features of the Epileptoid type and has Epileptoid type affects. (nothing to do with epilepsy). The affect of an epileptoid is like a steam boiler; person incubates for a long time and conceals within itself emotions that find a sudden release, an explosive reaction. (Suicide with collapse of beliefs). In general, the suicide scene also demonstrates the suicidal model characteristic of Epileptoid. Nigel shot himself from Alex's hands rather to show him the state of affairs that Nigel himself sees. It is possible that this was also intended to punish Alex for his resistance.
Epileptoid also corresponds to scrupulousness and pedantry in running any household, including student farming.
Nigel's love (maybe it was love, who knows) is colored by the dark tones of jealousy. Jealousy is quite strong, reaching the point of a valuable idea. In the end, out of jealousy, he goes to kill Susan. Probably so that she doesn't interfere.
In addition, he suppresses Alex's will and tries to gain power over his minds. The desire for power, extreme actions - all this is characteristic of an epileptoid.
Traits of the Paranoid type manifest themselves in overvalued ideas. Nigel is confident in the uniqueness of his origins, especially his destiny. Everything Nigel says is absolutely true. Nigel is confident that he has the right to everything he puport. He overestimates his personality, wisdom and understanding of everything.
He cherishes his ideas and shows extreme fanaticism towards them, bringing an extremely valuable idea to the status of a “crazy idea”.
She gives herself to the idea with exceptional passion, does not accept rejection, and convinces Alex of the value of her idea. It is common for a paranoid person to suffer defeat in a war for his beliefs. But having been defeated, he does not despair, does not become despondent, does not know that he is wrong; on the contrary, from failures he draws strength for further struggle.
Alex. Asthenic, also mentally developed, physically corresponds to his age. He was also brought up in undesirable conditions, without a real home, with increased moral responsibility. His father is emotionally distant from him, does not listen to his son’s requests, and is not interested in anything other than Alex’s assessments. Even in a difficult situation, he still distances himself from Alex. There is no mother.
Throughout the story, he demonstrates obvious features of a hysteroid.
All his behavior is aimed at capturing the attention of anyone: his father, school friends, Nigel, a psychologist. Demanding admiration, surprise, and reverence for one’s personality. Boundless egocentrism. At worst, he prefers indignation or hatred, but not indifference. Suggestibility, which is often brought to the fore, is selective. Hysteroids willingly act in public and show artistic abilities. Apparent emotionality actually turns into a lack of deep feelings with great expression of emotions, theatricality, and a tendency to show off and pose.
Alex also has the easily wounded pride characteristic of a hysteroid. He read the diary and Nigel's opinion about himself and decided to teach him a lesson, to show that elders should be respected.
Hysterics retain the childish reactions of the opposition. Having received a rebuff from Nigel, Alex took on the role of a “quiet” teenager who seemed to be sick from the outside, putting on a mask of indifference and painful loss.
It is also possible to refuse all “masks”, since Nigel literally saw through it. Withdrawing into oneself and leaving the company in this state of affairs is a typical reaction of a hysteroid.
The emancipation of a hysteroid has violent manifestations: running away from home, conflicts with elders, demands for freedom and independence. All this was also demonstrated to us. Alex constantly ran away from school at night with his friends, and demanded that his father not move neighbors in with him.
In the group, Alex characteristically takes the position of leader. In an impulse, he can easily lead a company. Alex also has a good intuitive sense. He reads the horror in the eyes of a friend on the verge of death, guesses who is giving him unusual “gifts”, and finds a good moment to ask Susan out on a date.
Hobbies are concentrated in the area of egocentric hobby. Just like schizoids, they pick up unusual hobbies, but unlike schizoids, they are more for show. Knowing that Alex's school is quite religious, he studies history and presents the facts to the teachers in such a way as to once again omit religious motives, bringing more prosaic ones to the fore.
Alex's self-esteem is far from objective; he emphasizes traits in himself that can make an impression at the moment.
Just like Nigel, he demonstrates paranoid type ideas. The extremely valuable idea of its exclusivity.
No wonder Nigel confirms this with his note “Alex is an egocentric megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur.” In addition, Alex is painfully touchy.
He evaluates all the people with whom Alex comes into contact by the attitude they show towards his activities. He does not forgive disagreement and indifference.
Now, if we look at the story in reverse, from the perspective of an unreliable narrator. Alex is the mastermind, Nigel the victim.
They, in fact, change characters with each other, but everything takes on more sinister and categorical features. Their Types become more pure.
Alex takes on the image of a more classic epileptoid, who is terrifying in his behavior in essence.
Long-lasting dysphoria comes first in Alex’s behavior and motivation, which, transforming into affect, is completely taken out on Nigel.
Alex probably has sadistic tendencies if he was the one who intimidated Nigel with a severed hand and a bloody knife. (We swapped them after all). It is possible that Alex committed the murder of Susan, because again, I repeat, such extreme actions as murder and fights at school are characteristic of an epileptoid.
In such positions, Alex is definitely a quarrelsome, conflicted teenager. In addition, the methods of reprisal against the victim by epiletoid teenagers are more developed. They are distinguished by extraordinary meanness.
The paranoid component of an overvalued idea is also present.
Nigel, if we consider him from the position of a victim who, by the will of fate, was not lucky enough to get along with Alex, loses all his epileptoid and paranoid traits. He still has the Schizoid type.

What does a traditional family/House dynamic look like, especially in terms of children?
[Does the whole House live in one large building, or is the House more of a common family space? Are children usually cared for by their parents, or is child minding more of a communal responsibility along the lines of "it takes a village to raise a child"? Etc.] < please treat these questions as additional questions like the ones on a school test that the teacher puts in to make sure that the student understands the original big question. I only included them so you could know what I meant when I say "House/family dynamic", because I know that can be confusing
Gosh, I wish you'd have written my exams.
What does a traditional family/House dynamic look like?
Houses are both residences and familial hubs containing a lot of related Gallifreyans. Here's what the dynamic typically looks like, especially when it comes to raising children:
🏠 Brief House Overview
First, a bit of context - Gallifreyan Houses are huge, often sentient structures. They're designed to support entire extended families, often containing multiple generations.
Interior Design: Houses often have high ceilings, large rooms, and sprawling corridors. This setup is on purpose - designed to make newly loomed Gallifreyans feel like children (many loomlings are created with fully-grown adult bodies).
Living Spaces: Houses contain individual bedrooms, communal living spaces, and operational facilities such as the Loomshed. They also have their own crypts for dead House members.
Animated Features: The Houses often have animated furniture, which, if not properly trained, might chase people around. Paintings whisper at passing cousins, and Druges, large automated humanoid servants, roam the premises, performing various duties.
👨👩👦👦 Family Dynamics
Gallifreyan families tend to be large and very hierarchical, with cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives living under the same roof. There's a strong thread of communal responsibility and shared upbringing when it comes to childrene (childe = singular, childrene = plural):
Childcare: Childrene are typically cared for by a combination of their parents and other relatives. Parents are present and will look after their child, performing the usual trips out to the galactic zoo or whatever.
Education: The responsibility for education and upbringing is communal, with older House members playing a significant role in brainbuffing (the educational process designed to shape young Gallifreyan minds). This is supported by the help of Avatroids - mechanical beings who were (basically) enslaved by the Time Lords. The boy Doctor had his own personal Avatroid named Badger, whose job it was to protect and educate him.
Communal Responsibilities: Given the House's size and structure, childcare is often a collective effort. The extended family takes part in guiding the children's education and development, with the aim of instilling a sense of duty and obedience ie. House values.
🧒 Children and Brainbuffing
As mentioned, childrene undergo brainbuffing, a rigorous educational process that equips them with a ton of knowledge before they step out into the big wide world. This process involves both formal schooling and informal training at home.
Early Education: During the first eight years, childrene are educated in writing, culture, mathematics, and science, surpassing the knowledge level of many human college students. Extended family members play a significant role in this process.
Traditional Activities: Despite the emphasis on duty, childrene can happily engage in activities like lushberrying and playing with onion dolls. However, there are no playgrounds on Gallifrey due to the focus on obedience.
Communal Upbringing: The entire House contributes to the upbringing, fostering a strong sense of community and collective responsibility.
🔥Then Comes Life
At the age of eight, children are snatched away from all of this and put into Chapter Academies away from their Houses and families for around 200 years. Bummer.
🏫 So ...
Gallifreyan Houses blend family living with communal responsibilities. They focus on fostering a sense of duty and service, with a significant emphasis on education and discipline. While parents play a crucial role in raising childrene, the communal approach ensures that every child has a network of support and guidance throughout their early years, which is then completely turned on its head.
Hope that helped! 😃

Theif Pico's story.
very long post below the cut, more like a one-shot fic than anything else.
As laughter and music floated through the village, the sun shone happily down on the peaceful little homes of the village residents. Children ran and played while adults chatted. Mothers sat on their porches or gardened, taking in the beautiful day. Fathers ran errands and swept leaves from their porches, keeping their homes tidy and neat so their wives could enjoy the day. And those without lovers still sang merrily, conversing with one another and either searching for or finding no need for a lover of their own. It seemed to truly be the perfect day. Later that night, as all the children scuttled into their beds and were tucked in, the moon shone brightly on the little community, allowing the moths and crickets to flutter about and sing their lullabies. One boy, Pico Hope, lay comfortably in his bed. He was an unexpected child, but a gift and blessing to his parents, who thought they could never have children of their own. He snuggled further under his blankets and closed his eyes, ready for another day of playing with his friends and learning at his wonderful school.
He usually slept through the night, but something felt... off. As he awoke, screams filled his ears and smoke wafted into his room in thick, choking clouds. He bolted upright and jumped out of bed, immediately coughing as his lungs filled with foul smoke. He desperately tried to open his door, but something was blocking it and the knob was too hot to grab. He tried his window next, but he had no clue how to open the lock. Trying to clear the air, he stuffed a blanket under the door to keep more clouds of smoke from coming in. He curled up in the corner of his room as the world outside glowed orange and the sounds of a crackling inferno filled his terrified ears. He squeezed his eyes shut and shook with fear, wishing it were all just a nightmare.
Suddenly, the heat grew unbearable as a flaming heap was tossed into his window, shattering the glass as it slid across the floor. He hesitantly walked to it, screaming when he recognized the burning lump. It was his elderly neighbor, Ms Hensly. She was a sweet, old widow who often cared for the children of the village, always bringing families gifts and warm meals when they were sick or going through a rough patch. He sobbed for her as he shrieked, backing up and falling to the ground. As his back hit the window, a rough, strong hand grabbed him and pulled him out of the room.
"What the fuck are you doing in there? You have to evacuate, we're under attack!"
Pico looked up to see his math teacher, Mr brown. He was muddy and splattered with blood, his arm bleeding profusely from a deep slash. He pulled Pico to his feet and picked him up with his good arm, running as fast as he could just as Pico watched his home collapse. Everything he knew was in that house, and now it was gone. Pico looked around urgently, trying to spot his parents among the sprinting and burning survivors, but he couldn't see them through the chaos. A loud bang sounded and he went tumbling to the ground, Mr Brown landing on top of him with a thump, completely limp. There was a large hole running through his chest, leaving no bone or muscle in it's path
The terrified ginger looked up, seeing putrid yellow eyes stare back at him. It was a girl, a tall one with large horns and red hair. He recognized her build immediately, noting that she was from a village down the road. Their hometowns never got along, and recently things had grown increasing aggressive between the two communities. She raised a long nailed finger at him as sparks began to form in her hand. Pico sobbed and curled up, protecting his head as he prepared for the pain. Just before she could attack, somebody ran into her, slamming her into the burning building to their right. She shrieked as she flew out, her arm blazing. Pico got up and ran as fast as his little legs could carry him. The girl followed, forgetting her pain as she hunted him down.
She grabbed him by the throat and clawed at his face, leaving slashes across his mouth and eye before a booming voice called from somewhere farther off. She growled and rushed in that direction, leaving Pico injured and barely able to keep his eye open. He crawled slowly and shakily under a collapsed porch and lay down, watching his world go blurry as his life burned away.
Sometime later, he woke to fearful, shaken voices. Sunlight streamed into his eye as he opened it, seeing a few blurry figures. They gently pulled him from the wreckage and put a bottle of water to his mouth, helping him drink as he struggled to keep himself awake. He couldn't hear them properly, only hearing snippets of conversations as he was lifted and cradled in soft, gentle arms. He was brought to a makeshift tent and placed on a pile of blankets. As soon as his head touched the soft material, he was out again.
The next couple of weeks were slow and painful as he recovered and the other few survivors looked for food and water. There were only five people left from the once bustling village. One night, Pico was left alone in the tent. When he awoke, the people were packing things into bundles of blankets. A woman in a tattered dress walked over to him and handed him a bottle of water, along with a can of pears.
"I'm sorry. We can't stay here, and we can't care for you. You have to leave this place, there's nothing left for us here. The attackers... we killed them last night. We doubt the survivors will come here, but you shouldn't stay, just in case."
Pico watched blearily as she left, holding hands with a skinny, tall man as they walked into the woods and disappeared. He lay in the blazing sun for a while longer before attempting to stand. It was hard and he fell many times, but he eventually made his way to his old home. Now burnt and destroyed, he checked the wreckage, wishing with all of his heart to find his beloved parents. But all he could find was a bloodied, charred hand sticking out of the rubble. He slid the wedding ring off of it, recognizing his mother's band. He sobbed, feeling hot tears roll down his cheeks as he held it close to hit heart. He stayed for a few more nights until his hunger became too strong, and he knew it was time to leave. He didn't have anything to take with him but the now empty water bottle and the ring, so he slipped the jewelry into his pocket and held the bottle as he set off for the woods, hoping that he still remembered the direction to the nearest city.

Ok, but do Mick and Terri have BF (before Floyd) designs? Like whenever they first met.
Sorry it took me a while to get to this! Wanted to get some what-if younger designs done for Terri and Mick to answer this!
I can't go too into detail with some stuff relating to Terri as it'll come up in a new multiple chapter story involving a younger Floyd and baby Animal, but I'll include a few small facts about the both of them:
Terri: -So according to a post I saw on here the events in Muppets Mayhem ep 6 during Teeth's flashbacks is set in the 60's. Terri's father was a lawyer (debating on him possibly holding some position in the miliraty before he got married) and her mother was a teacher, Terri in the beginning was attending college aspiring to become a music teacher and working part time at a bar. She was a bit of a loner and came off as sort of rude to other people, she was a very goal driven person so tended to place value on her work and future more then making friends.
-During the 60's there was a lot more standards and expectations for genders. While men where welcomed into careers more suited for women, women struggled to achieve job positions of higher pay such as firefighters or police officers. It was mostly thanks to these changing times that Terri became such a driven person, hoping to build herself a strong career despite all the expectations placed upon women of her age
-She met Mick when he and his biker friends where passing through town and they stopped in at the bar she was working at. Mick flirted with her, and Terri calmly shot him down before probably saying how Mick had dirt or something on his shirt. A couple days later he showed back up and Terri ended up having a genuine conversation with him which she might have enjoyed a bit. She'd had a frustrating morning and so talking with Mick helped her vent off some steam
-This is one I can't go into too much detail with, but Terri's parents hate Mick with the heat of a thousand suns
Mick:
-Mick was young, cool and just a bit dumb. He lived a comfortable life in Boston before he turned 18 and he and his biker friends set off on travelling about the world. Through out their journey they eventually get to San Franisco. Mick was getting a taste of the big world for the first time and the thrill of it all inflated his confidence, which is firmly knocked down a peg at Terri's harsh shutdown. He makes amends a few days later, he didn't actually mean to offend her, he just thought she was pretty.
-A day before Mick and his friends prepare to leave they wind up in a small brawl with another biker crew. Mick wasn't the aggressor, but he did say somethings that didn't help the situation. It ends up in a small chase on bikes, which leads to a pile up and crash, which Mick and his friends thankfully leave mostly unscathed. Thanks to the trouble they caused Mick and his pals end up arrested, but after gathering reports from witnesses and it was decided they weren't the ones responsible they're released on probation, thanks to Terri's dad. Again, can't go too in depth, but Terri's dad took pity on the younger boys and helped them out
-Not only is Mick on probation but his bike got wrecked in the crash, so now he has to save up for a new one. Terri's dad places him in community jobs such as trash cleaning and otherwork like that. Mick is not exactly happy at the situation, but with some good behaviour Terri's dad arranges him a job working at the same bar Terri works at. Terri's dad figured it would be a good way to keep an eye on him, since Terri would be able to directly report to him. This is how the two gradually become friends and, overtime, lovers. Terri began to sneak cuts of her pay into Mick's at the end of each month at the bar to help him get his bike back, because she could tell Mick wasn't truly happy being stuck there. Mick finds her out one day when he catches her messing with their monthly payments, it leads to the two accidentally confessing to each other (at this point they've had like a few dates, which neither dare say is a date out of embarrassment, and are dancing around each other). They have a small argument about it then Mick leaves
-Shortly after that Terri finds out she's pregnant and they both end up leaving San Francisco. Mick quits his biker gang, Terri homes out of home and they - especially Terri - never looked back

Bluey’s School (Glasshouse School) (3/?)
Criticisms of the Waldorf educational approach
As mentioned in the last post on this, the Waldorf educational style emphasizes:
A slow build towards academic topics, spending more time on imagination and relationships in early grades;
A low-tech nature-oriented approach; and
An “everybody is important” mindset.
Advocates say that this approach can help children’s creativity, support motivation for learning, and remove/defer societal pressures on children. However, there are also detractors/critics.
Below, a few of the criticisms of the Waldorf (also sometimes called Steiner) educational approach.
Deferred Academics
So as we pointed out in the last post, the Waldorf approach to education seeks to protect children from the pressures of the outside world.
Consistent with this philosophy, many Waldorf schools don’t teach traditional ‘basic skills’ in literacy and numeracy until students are older.
(Note how in “Relax”, Bluey didn’t know numbers when she asked Mum which button to press in the elevator.)
Up until about age 7, most learning occurs through storytelling, drawing, and oral communication. There is greater emphasis on social skills, creativity, arts, and practical sciences. This fosters an appreciation of these topics in children as they mature.
On one hand that sounds good — academics and a drive to perform can be tough on children at any age. But there are many parents who also want to make sure their their children are not at a disadvantage. If a child misses out on the first few years of learning, potentially a student could fall behind and find it impossible to catch up?
Fortunately, many studies of the success rates and exam results of Steiner/Waldorf taught children demonstrate that this is not the case; Waldorf students ultimately perform academically as well, if not better, than non-Waldorf students despite a later start on academic subjects.
No Tech
The Steiner/Waldorf approach to teaching focuses on natural environments with a strong focus on beauty and a natural aesthetic, hence wooden furniture, simple wooden toys, etc.
No computers, no tablets, no TVs.
Does this put children in these schools at a disadvantage? These days, middle-class western children are using tablet computers from a young age, and they’re very much a part of “regular” schools.
As technology becomes more and more integral the gap between Waldorf schools and technology-heavy STEM/STEAM programs in mainstream schools might be viewed negatively.
Note that in “Bluey”, Bluey and Bingo appear to have their screen time (tablet and TV) limited/restricted. And there are subtle hints that TV time is discouraged and to be kept to a minimum. Whereas Muffin and Socks may be getting more screen time at their house.
This may not be a problem if students are exposed to age-appropriate levels/quantities of technology outside of school, the way Bluey and Bingo are.
One Teacher For 5 To 8 Years(!)
Teachers tend to stay with students for multiple years in Waldorf schools. A student potentially can have the same teacher for five to eight years.
There are pros and cons to this approach.
Students theoretically are able to develop deep relationships with their teacher which could give them more comfort and a greater sense of familiarity/security. Almost an additional parent figure?
However, teacher turnover can also be a positive thing. Individual teachers have their strengths and weaknesses.
Also, it can be a good thing for a student to experience a range of different teachers and adult influences to gain a breadth of experiences of different teaching personas. Such as a male teacher vs. a female one. New teachers bring fresh perspectives.
If a child doesn’t gel with their teacher, they could be encumbered with them for up to eight years.
Waldorf Schools Are Expensive
Generally speaking, Waldorf schools are private. Because of this, they are often too expensive for working-class or low-income families. $10,000 AUD for a year’s tuition is not unheard of, although these costs vary from one grade to another and from school to school.
Not everyone in Bluey’s friend group are in the same economic group; some are well-to-do, like Chloe (and Honey, I’d assume) and some less so based on their homes. Maybe some of the families have access to grants?

Heres some more Rockwell doodles along with her teacher (whos also my main oc/persona) Esther!
Heres some Info abt Rockwell if anyone cares to know 🫡
INTJ [Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging]
She/they April 13 36
Omnisexual, demiromantic
Filipino 🇵🇭, Italian 🇮🇹
Italian accent, a raspy bold(?) voice
Esther's research assistant / magic student
Geologist and Magic Weapons Smith
She's a hard worker and confident in their abilities. When working on a project she tends to get a bit too engrossed into it and may overwork herself. When in a more casual setting they are calm with a sarcastic prickly attitude but still energetic. Despite having an innocence to the “outside” world Rockwell is still cautious and on guard when meeting others even if she presents herself with in a more welcoming demeanor. She struggles with social anxiety and maintaining relationships with others. Maturing at a young age because of the loss of her parents, the community mostly raised them since her parents went missing. Rw had her best-friend Caveat and would often be at his house a lot along with his two older sisters. She was over there so often that Rockwell considers his sisters as her older sisters too. She used to be a reclusive kid, quiet and would keep to themselves never really opening up and revealing her feelings and thoughts to others because they felt it wasn't needed. Rockwell still does that now but tries to open up to friends. She doesn’t really take shit from people, their one who makes sure they never get the short end of the stick but stays fair.
While Rockwell’s strong-suit isn’t healing magic and can’t really ‘heal’ herself, they’ve developed a work around. At the age of 12, Rockwell had cave exploration accident that resulted with the left side of her skull *caved* in leaving her magic leaking out. Having her injury for about 3 months she developed this type of ‘bandaid’ with the metal she works with. Rockwell melts the metal, infuses it the basic healing magic she knows and a bit of reinforcement magic as well. Successfully creating a metal bandaid, now when she has injuries she just does that. Rockwell is actually the first person to ever do this on Chronos [thats the planet that my oc story called ‘In Our Favor’ takes place if anyone is interested I’ll post abt the world building Ive done].
Met Esther while they were in her coastal hometown. Rockwell showed Esther her sandboarding tricks, “I know someone who'd you would get along great with, she does skateboarding as well and works with metals. You two are similar in height too, lol.” Esther comments
Rockwell studies geology as a hobby though it helps when looking for materials for her projects. Caveat occasionally helps with looking for materials when Rockwell goes mining in the nearby caves in the cliffs. Rw does have a journal that has all the geology or rock related puns/jokes she could think of, but she’d rather die than have anyone except Cav know. Cav loves them.
The town that Rockwell lives in is an oasis coastal desert town! Its hidden within cliffs of a ravine. The architecture is inspired off of Camogli, Italy, though the culture and language inspired off of the Philippines(?) and Italy [Im still working on that part]

HEROES
This is a letter for transcendence and hope — dedicated to heroes and the hero within us!
I am writing this letter in the hopes that you will find inner peace through my words.
Throughout your experiences you have faced great challenges and obstacles. Situations that caused fragmentation, and points where you needed to be the light for others amongst dark times.
One thing I want you consider as I write this letter is, not only have you stood as hero, role model, leader within many communities you have elevated your communities awareness as conscious beings of the complexities within society. It is not easy to be the one to make tough decisions within a moments notice to help the greater good.
In life based on circumstances we put up a wall to protect a sacred part of us and those that we love and protect. As each experience occurs, it compounds like building blocks, till we place a barrier that obstructs our view. Give yourself permission to knock down those blocks of anything that has held you back. When something happens to us, it is always for our highest and best, and the lessons we extract from those situation give us wisdom.
Our scars do not make us or define us, our actions do.
The hero is someone who is strong and has seen a lot within his or her life, always having many roles and always placing the collective before their needs. The hero is balanced and always encompass the stillness within — a hero remains still and observes despite the chaos around them then acts accordingly. They are a lighthouse, that stands as a structure of strength and leadership. A hero’s legacy is every accomplishment and failure, their contribution no matter great or small always changes the lives of the many. The hero within does not allow anyone to disrupt their inner peace. A true hero understands and honors others that dedicate their life to helping others. As we read this, give thanks to every hero you have encountered in your life and acknowledge within all the heroic acts you have contributed.
When you are among others that want to diminish you, stand strong. Bring the light to every situation you encounter. Never give away your power. Above all, never settle for anything less than you deserve.
As a hero you have experienced loss at such a profound level whether it was loved ones, a friend, a stranger, or the fear of loosing someone close to you. In life, nothing is certain. What is certain, and as I say this please place your hand on your heart, is that , we are not alone. Collectively we are all interconnected. We find love through family, friends, relationships of all different kinds, we always will find the places we belong.
As a hero acknowledge that you have selflessly dedicated your time to serving and protecting others. It is in this moment that I personally thank all healthcare workers, officers, firefighters, teachers, mentors, leaders of our great community, parents, loved ones and strangers that enhance our learning experience along our journey. Let us take a moment to celebrate their selfless dedication that they contribute within each of our communities.
No matter what you face in life I hope as a hero you will always feel aligned, safe, balanced, positive, and that you always keep observing situations from every facet. Do everything with compassion and without judgement.
Understand that everyday you will get stronger, wiser, and happier. Our experiences bring us insight to understand the deeper levels of the world, and above all, beyond the fighting, beyond the sadness or grief, ask yourself , “what else is there?.”
Plant your feet firmly on the ground, establish roots, your home is where your heart is. Always remember, every experience is a period of growth and exploration. Learn lessons and move forward. Always be thankful for what you do have. Do not focus on the negative, you serve as an ambassador to protector others, keep being strong and fearless.
I hope that this letter gives you strength as I feel you will read it when the time is right.

what color characters are you?
Fuji
green character
Green characters are often hotheaded and brash, unafraid to speak their mind. They make for excellent leaders and teachers, and tend to be most devoted to a specific field, which they do well in. They have a lot of confidence in themselves, and although they can’t always see themselves positively, they are good about respecting themselves. They have a lot of common sense but are equally likely to strategically plan something out as to rush in on an impulse. They often have to work hard to get others to respect them, and sometimes receive less of it when people find out who they are. Still, they are not afraid to make others uncomfortable by being themselves, and are unlikely to waver when someone wants them to change against their will. They can be brash and loud, but also very quiet and secretive. Their humor can be a bit rude, and they don’t always display friendship and affection to the people they care about in the most conventional ways. However, they’re quite easygoing, witty, and fun-loving people. They don’t like when people are flighty and prefer to work with people who don’t quit and stand their ground. They stand out from others, both because of the way they approach the world, and because of how skilled they tend to be at what they do. Some people may not suspect that they are harmonious because of their blunt nature, but they are surprisingly good and reasonable diplomats, and can employ a lot of meaningful tact when the situation calls for it. They may feel a sense of distance or abandonment from their parental figures, as they often became emotionally or physically absent sometime in their life. Green characters hate being told what to do and put into a box, and are likely to challenge authority. They can be hard to work with at times due to their stubbornness, but they bring a lot to the table and tend to round out their friend groups. They need people in their lives who respect them, care about them, and listen to them, as well as offer them companionship without requiring them to conform to a certain preset standard.
Teru
light blue character
Light Blue characters are laidback and creative, often with a good sense of humor that ranges from sarcastic to straight up puns. They are good at community building because of their chill and funny nature, and they are expert planners. They normally aren’t very uptight, but can become so when they feel there is something that needs to be done, or feels that their authority is being undermined. They have a very strong sense of responsibility, mainly for people in their care, often an older sibling figure to many of those close to them. They can get paranoid and overbearing when they are worried about those that they are caring for. They can also act childish and have fun but they like having people around who can see their maturity and treat them accordingly. They use a lot of humor to get around dealing with their internal problems, and tend to complain about surface level issues in order to ignore their more vulnerable feelings. Because of their tendency to make jokes and try to get people to laugh, they aren’t often recognized for their intelligence. Sometimes they lack common sense and it plays out in humorous ways, but when it really counts they are quite perceptive and intelligent, brilliant inventors and strategists. Their decisions may seem impulsive, but are usually quite thought out and purposeful. They aren’t the type of person who really wants to be the sole lead, but they want to have a say in the decision making, and they need their input to be taken seriously. They often feel inferior to others and can become defensive when their ideas or sense is questioned because of it. They don’t generally get things handed to them, but have to work for what they want. This can make them feel out of place in a space with others who people praise as “exceptional”, and being the “ordinary” one is a bit of a sore spot. They can tend to act cocky and confident to disguise their insecurities, again often using humor to help them along. Light blue characters need people who ask for their opinion often, give them proper recognition for their positive traits, and don’t leave them out of important decisions, but also don’t let them take on too much. They need people who will see past their witty barrier and allow them to try and figure out and come to terms with their feelings.
Rena
yellow character
Yellow characters tend to be positive and upbeat people, who try to see the bright side in most situations (although the older a character is, the less likely they’ll be as openly positive). They’re friendly and energetic much of the time, and while often genuine it can become a cover for their more negative feelings. They tend to have a lot of skill in one specific area which they have to work hard to harness and use properly. Because of this skill they can be put up on a pedestal and have high expectations placed on them to perform. Often these expectations also come from themselves. They have a strong sense of responsibility and duty placed on them that can cause them to develop a bit of a savior complex, blaming themselves for not being able to protect everyone around them. They are diffusers and peacemakers, preferring to be in harmony with everyone, sometimes making it confusing when others around them are not this way. They’re pretty cheerful and bubbly and usually the light of their friend group. They care about their friends a lot, and go out of their way to show it, although it can cause them to be jealous when they feel as if they aren’t being included. While kind people, they also have a competitive streak and like to win. They love fun and are likely to get sidetracked and drag their friends along with them. Others are able to relax in their presence and enjoy themselves, and it’s hard not to like a yellow character. While these characters may be warm and diligent though, they also have a hard time taking risks, generally preferring to stay in their comfort zone. They can have a bit of both a main character and a savior complex because of how much responsibility they put on themselves, and while well meaning it can irk other characters. Sometimes they go too far trying to help and interfere with others, and when they don’t want to do something they will often shut down and distract themselves from it. They are surprisingly mature for how innocent they seem, and when in a healthy place they always give their best effort. They are wise and interpersonal and really tie their friend group together. Yellow characters need to be given a safe space to release negative emotions without letting them build up, and they need people in their life who will help them keep a healthy balance of work and play without pressuring them too much.
