CHAPTER II of Genndy Tartakovsky's Star Wars: Clone Wars turned 20 years old today, and 7 years ago I couldn't help but notice that storyboard artist Bryan Andrews seemed to sneak a reference to this episode in The Powerpuff Girls episode "Live and Let Dynamo"....

which Bryan also storyboarded....

Same energy? Yes, but there is NO way that this could be just a coincidence....

Finished What If...? Season 3

This is a decent season that takes the series' high concepts into weirder directions. The stories are all over the place in terms of tone, but the wild ideas are interesting and the series features some highlights. The series makes great use of the phase 4 and 5 characters and expands on some major moments from the main MCU in some fun ways, particularly mixing the magic with the supernatural elements. The returning characters are given some interesting new developments, while the new characters are pretty fun. The series features a nice mix of returning actors and solid soundalikes, while new actors like Natasha Lyonne, Alison Sealy-Smith and Jason Isaacs fit with the series tone well. Jeffrey Wright remains great as the Watcher and the character is given the strongest arc of the series. The animation remains quite good and keep up with the big scale action well. (The heavy use of the Kirby crackle throughout is a great nod to the comics.) The action makes great use of the new settings while playing with the characters' abilities i surprising ways. This is a solid culmination for the series and among the most unique of the recent MCU series.

Finished What If...? Season 2

What If...? Season 2 remains enjoyable and uses the flexibility of the concept. The stories are uneven, like many anthology shows and the previous season, but there are some inventive stories that uses the various characters in fun ways. The new characters are interesting while the returning cast is given some nice developments. The voice cast remains impressive and allows the actor to expand on the movie characters. The animation remains solid while the action is creative and at a bigger scale than the previous seasons.
