A discrete set of photographs taken by Gysin known as the ‘Danger Series’, show Burroughs with a cigarette in front of construction work outside of the old Théâtre Odeon, not far from the rue Gît-le-Cœur.

Brion Gysin ‎– "Recordings 1960-81"
Brion Gyson was a painter, poet and inventor. His poems art and experiments were just as influential influential as Burroughs in the early days of Industrial music.
This is an album of his earlies and most influential audio work consisting of Cut-ups, poems, Musique Concrete and conversations.
Instead of the album cover here is a pic of Brion Gysin hanging out with his Dream Machine. You could build one HERE.
You can get this album from my Google Drive HERE

2/3/24.
This has to be a first on this blog. We are posting a release from a musician who, in his earlier days, rubbed elbows with Salvador Dali. Brion Gysin (Canada/UK/all over) was more known as an artist or a poet - not a musician, let alone a purveyor of disco.
"Junk" is a reissue of Gysin's (with considerable help from many including Ramuntcho Gatta, and Senegalese drummer Prosper Niang) "cult avant funk" masterpiece. I can't help but think of Talking Heads "Remain in Light", Lizzy Mercier Descloux (who also lends a hand on this album) and Liquid Liquid.
This is reissued by French label Wewantsounds.
