I pull on my sparkly mini dress and heels, spray some perfume and comb through my blonde curls before getting an Uber to Q’s house. It was New Years Eve and he was hosting the party this year, I met the Jokers through my bestfriend Chloe who works on the show. I was meeting her there, as I pull into Q’s street it’s filled with party goers cars. I check the time and it’s 9pm, I didn’t want to come too early. I thank my driver and make my way inside.

The house is full, the music thumps in my chest as I make my way through the crowd to the kitchen. I set down the bottle of Vodka and Champagne on the counter - I couldn’t come empty handed. I grab a red cup and pour myself a Vodka Lemonade taking a big sip i’m ready to leave 2023 behind and start fresh. I had a bad break up with my ex who I found cheating on me in our house, our bed and i’ve been feeling down in the dumps ever since but i’m ready to let that go going into the New Year and move on.

“There’s my girl!”. I turn as I hear Q shout, he’s stood leaning against the doorframe of the kitchen in a black tshirt and jeans, I smile and make my way to him. He pulls me into him wrapping his arms around my waist holding me flush against his body, I wrap my arms around his neck as he rubs the small of my back. We hang out in the kitchen catch up and do a couple of shots, ever since I met Q i’ve always had a thing for him. We both flirt everytime we see each other and there’s a lot of sexual tension between us but nothing has ever happened but maybe now that I don’t have a boyfriend anymore. I shake my head and laugh “no, you’re fine” “let’s go dance!” She pulls me from Q and I look back at him as i’m getting dragged away, he’s stood watching as he runs his hand through his short hair.

The drinks are flowing and i’m in the living room in the crowd dancing with Chloe, Joe is sober and showing us his best moves, Murr and Sal are drunk and dancing with each other. I catch Q stood talking to his ex Taylor and I instantly feel jealous, her hands are on his body but he keeps his hands to himself whilst drinking his beer. As the night goes on I start to become more drunk and have came out of my shell, i’m dancing and slut dropping like nobody’s watching. I wander the hallway upstairs looking for the bathroom when I bump into Matt who works on the show, i’m leaning against the wall to keep my balance and he’s got his hand on the wall beside my head trying his best to shoot his shot with me. “Ey! she’s mine” Q announces as he approaches us, Matt throws his hands up defensively and walks away. “Hm I don’t think I am yours Mr Quinn, do I sense a hint of jealousy” I ask raising my eyebrow, he laughs taking my hand in his and leaning down to my ear. “I’ll make you mine” I feel him smile against my ear before he pulls me into the room to our right locking the door behind us.

I look around the room seeing pin ball machines and I then realise we’re in his game room. Q lifts me over his shoulder like he did in the Fire Department, I squeal as he plants me down on the couch in the middle of the room and climbs on top of me. “I’ve been waiting all night to have you alone, i’ve been dying to do this…” he smashes his lips against mine taking me by surprise but I kiss back letting his tongue dominate my mouth. Both our hands roam each others bodies and I grab the bottom of Q’s shirt pulling it over his head, he pushes up my mini dress exposing my bare flesh - I couldn’t have a pantie line in my dress so I was going comando. Pairing: Brian Quinn x wife!reader

You and Brian met working at the same fire department and after chaotic years of friendship, you finally admitted your feelings for each other. Now you're happily married with a 10 week old son, Logan.

Now your little man was almost 2.5 months and y'all were getting the hang of things. Logan was on a better schedule and you were able to get at least a little bit of sleep.

But today Logan and you were helping Q get punished. He knew he was performing a stupid play in front of professional actors. What he didn't know was that instead of actors it was you, Logan, and all our firehouse buddies. Lucky for me Logan was asleep when we arrived.

We took our seats in the front. As soon as the play started, Logan was up and alert. I held him in my lap as Brian came out on stage. When he saw all of us out there he couldn't even speak he was so embarrassed. He continued through the play and towards the end Logan let out a squeal of excitement which grabbed his father's attention. Brian finished up the play and our coworkers began throwing shoes at him which caused me to laugh. Filming stopped and the guys were done shooting for the day. Brian went out and was talking to our buddies while I walked around rocking Logan.

Today was the day! Joe had called last week asking to secretly be apart of the show, which I agreed to. I’d be taking part in a challange in a supermarket posing as Q’s wife. Of course I wasn’t Q’s wife at all but Sal’s pregnant fiancée of nearly six years. That morning Sal got ready for work as I was lounging on the sofa watching the news, after breakfast he gave me a quick kiss as he grabbed his car keys from the bowl by the door and left for work. As soon as he left I quickly texted Joe and got ready, i’d need to stay hidden from him to ensure he was shocked when I appeared.

I made my way to the supermarket where Joe told me they’d be filming, he came out and met me and I stayed with the crew until it was Q’s time to go into the supermarket. It was easy to stay hidden as the guys were in another room with the door closed. Sal went first into the supermarket posing with another crew member as his wife, I laughed with the other Jokers as I watched him dab his way through the store. I hid again as Sal came back and then Murr and Joe went, they were saving the best for last.

It was time for Q to go into the supermarket and the guys spoke to him through an earpiece which I also had in, Q was awaiting the guys instructions when Joe announced that the woman posing as Q’s wife was coming from around the corner. I smiled at Q and give him a hug as I heard the other guys laughing hysterically in my ear, I hear Sal shouting “That’s my Fiancée!!” Before hearing a thud, I assume he’s fallen down laughing seeing his bestfriend and fiancée pose as husband and wife.

I push the cart around the store giving my best performance by picking things up from the shelves and putting them in the cart whilst Q did what the guys told him to, Q comes back holding a unisex baby sleepsuit and shows it to me. “Daddy’s gonna buy this for the little one” he kisses my cheek and we both try not to laugh as we hear Sal cracking up in our ears. Q completed all the challanges and we go into the back of the store where the other Jokers where.

Sal looks at me before laughing, he shoves Q playfully before pulling me into his arms.

“We all wanted it to be a surprise!” I giggle back.

I stayed for the rest of the day, after filming we go home and Sal was unusually quiet on the drive back. Maybe he was pissed about posing as Q’s wife, I climb the stairs and crawl into bed hoping for an afternoon nap. As I begin to fall asleep I feel an arm wrapping around me softly stroking my bump.

Impractical Jokers: The Movie (2020)

If you’re a fan of the Impractical Jokers television series, you’ll certainly like the film but If you pay to see this in the theater, you’re a sucker. The biggest joke here is the title. There’s nothing “movie” about Impractical Jokers: The Movie.

As teens, Brian “Q” Quinn, Joe Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, and Sal Vulcano snuck into a Paula Abdul concert, turned it into a riot and in the process, came up with the idea for their show. Today, Paula has become a fan and invites them to her concert in Miami but only gives them three tickets. To decide who will miss out, the friends compete in a series of hidden-camera challenges on the way to the show.

The film begins with a flashback that starts you off laughing. The attempt to make The Tenderloins look like high-schoolers is so deliberately bad it’s hilarious. Once on the road, several gags had me in stitches. What works in the show works here. First, you’re laughing at the passersby’s reactions. Then, you laugh at the jokers themselves. You can tell the guys have been at this for a while and know exactly how to push each others’ buttons. Several of the skits are innovative and memorable. Even if, like me, you’ve never seen even a single episode of the show, you’ll be laughing long and hard.

And yet… the film disappoints. At the end of the day, this is not a movie. The story is garbage, barely more than an afterthought. While most of the challenges feel genuine, the wraparound is never convincing or all that funny. It’s poorly written and predictable. Not helping are the Tenderloins, who are horrendous actors. You wish you could annihilate the Paula Abdul story but then, all you’d be left with is an elongated episode of the show and that, you can see “for free” at home.

This movie isn’t doing anything the show hasn't done already. It's rated PG-13 so it’s not like they’re upping the ante - not really - by performing death-defying, risqué or shocking skits. While watching, you develop a new appreciation for the Jackass films. Those cranked up the insanity to a level you would’ve never been able to get away with on the small screen. This may be smarter but it’s safer too, which is a big mark against it.

I can’t be too hard on Impractical Jokers: The Movie. I was bordering on tears more than once and that’s worth a lot. Worth the price of a movie ticket though? Absolutely not. No boundaries are pushed so nothing will prevent this film from being shown on TV in a couple of months. It won't win the series any new fans despite the numerous laughs because of the price, which means it’s for those who are already part of the club. For them, it’s worth seeing - at home. (Theatrical version on the big screen, March 2, 2020)
