Rafayel the Vlogger
To promote his new art installation and collaboration with another beauty company, the marketing team suggesting Rafayel vlog his life for 2 weeks to get people interested, especially the younger generation. How does our fishy cope?
A/N: We're going to pretend that Rafayel doesn't have a bounty on him.
Rafayel’s first instinct is a HELL NO. He’s an introvert. A private person. He doesn’t anyone to know about him and his life.
Thomas: It’s for your art sales, Rafeyel!
Rafayel: I’m okay with being poor.
Somehow Thomas coerces Rafayel into the idea. Probably threatening to send him off on long promos, forcing him to spend less time with you.
So, begrudgingly, Rafayel starts his vlogs. First video is him going, “I don’t want to do this but because we’re collaboration with REDACTED company, you now get to see this face for a week”.
Despite being unwilling, Rafayel knows his vlogging game. You bet he’s coming in with that aesthetic portrayal of his artistic life. The irony is that it’s not even pretentious or false. He really does live the life his vlogs depict. Goes really hard with ocean themes in his videos.
Doesn’t really show how he paints. He might bring his viewers to the art room, maybe play with the sound so that you hear his paintbrush. Or he’ll provide random aesthetic shots with music that capture his mood and thoughts while painting. But you’ll never see his actual work.
In fact, you see very little of him in the video. Rafayel prefers to show you his life, not himself. so his head is almost always out of shot, and sometimes all you will see are his hands. He’s a master at video editing, and enjoys using the videos to play with new editing techniques.
Loves shorts, but only uses them for 2 situations. The first to capture something beautiful and momentary like a rainbow appearing in the rain. The second is for those “what the” random as hell moments that make you crack a smile.
LOVES showing the food he’s making. It’s the only time you’ll see his full face as it focuses on dicing whatever he’s cooking. Always, always shows his platting and ensures that viewers see 2 plates. Only really cooks if you’re coming over, so when viewers see him cook, they know you’ll be around.
Speaking of you, Rafayel does not really show you in his vlogs. He respects your privacy, and doesn’t want the world to come down on you just because you choose to be part of his life. Also, he finds it creepy to film your relationship. It feels staged even if the emotions are real. Despite that, viewers do know he has a partner. They might know you when you accompany him as his bodyguard. And in his vlogs, they would have seen brief shots, often candid ones when you were just doing your own thing. But he never wholly includes you in these vlogs, and he always shows you what he filmed and gets your permission before posting them.
Despite not being a part of the vlogs, that doesn’t stop Rafayel expressing his love for you. The whole world knows just how damn much the man loves you. He’s not cheesy or ridiculous about it. In fact, he barely verbalizes it, no those words are meant for one person’s ears only. But they see it when they see him cooking you favourite meal, always having a cup of tea ready for when you appear. They see it in the little things you leave behind and the space he’s made for your life.
He really enjoys night routines because of how relaxing they can be. Loves it when you’re spending the night over. Again, he won’t film you, but viewers can tell you both are getting ready for bed and boy does he go hard with the ocean aesthetic here. Depicting animated sea creatures following the two of you as you prepare for sleep. The video sound itself, quieting down to calming ocean waves, and finally the depths of the sea as the camera fades out.
But after 2 weeks, Rafayel calls its quits. Despite the overwhelming popularity, he doesn’t like how much time it takes to edit the videos. Frankly, he finds his life not very interesting, and he doesn’t really want the world to shatter the little niche he’s carved out for himself. He thinks its more interesting to learn about people from what they leave behind and the mark they make in the world and in the lives of other people. He might try it again if the fancy takes him or if another company requests him to do so, but it’s not a hobby he wants to regularly do.

Hype meme!!! Which aspect of fandom are you most looking forward to? (e.g. reading/writing fic, the bounty of gorgeous art, getting to know new people, etc.)
various answers to some askmeme-related messages under the cut. :)
(hello everyone!! ◕‿◕)
^ I love seeing the abundance of beautiful art, and I'm also just really happy to see the community so active, creating, hyped and filled with people and chatter once again :')
a-tear-in-the-veil asked: "Dragon Age Hype Questions 1-4 (those are like the r questions I want to ask everyone who plays, sorry 😂)"
no worries hh :D
1. the first Dragon Age game I ever played was Dragon Age: Origins! 2. my favorite DA game so far is a rly tough question!! probably DA:O or DA:I, though an answer with two games in it is kind of a cop-out ik hh. (I do also really love DAII) 3. in games like these my go-to is usually warrior or another fighter-type class ^^ my Inquisitor is a warrior, and my Warden began life as a warrior (I only changed them in the runup to DA:I's release to create a bit more differentiation between my PCs). in DA:TV I think Spellblade especially sounds super fun 4. my worldstate is that the Inquisitor romanced Solas, disbanded the Inquisition, and then vowed to stop Solas at all costs.. ദ്ദി ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ )
celinou asked: "For the datv q&a ask game: 6, 10 and 16. Thank you for all the news and info you share with us 🤍"
(tysm for the lovely ask 🥺)
6. I have them planned to a degree yea!! I think it would be fun to play them as a Spellblade 10. 'Which location are you most excited/hoping to explore in-game?'. most excited out of the confirmed/for sure locations - Arlathan Forest!! I've been wanting to explore Arlathan Forest since forever, since DA:O. I'm so curious about all the ancient elven history, lore and secrets it might hold. runner-ups are Weisshaupt (another place I've been wanting to see since DA:O) and the Crossroads again (since it seems that it also holds lots of cool lore and secrets to find out, again). hoping to explore - speculation aside, I'm really hoping we will visit Kal-Sharok in this game. it's so intriguing and mysterious-sounding. (btw, if Kal-Sharok has now been confirmed beyond speculation like in a preview video or something somewhere, I'm not aware of it as I'm dwelling in a spoiler bunker rn - so if you're reading this and know, pls don't tell me if it is or not, or any other spoilers hh). 16. that Felassan lives. my fav crack theory is my theory that Ghilan'nain has something to do with the Executors.. I put it out there in ~March 2020. it's based on the fact that the Ghil monster pools in Horror of Hormak were said to smell of brine/salt/the sea, and the fact that the Executor in Dread Wolf Take You was said to smell of the ocean under their robes.
sophiasartandgaming asked: "16 for the Veilguard Ask Game"
for 16 pls see above ^^
ellstersmash asked: "hi! 3 & 10 for that ask game? 🙏"
for 3 and 10 pls see above ^^
sky-fire-forever asked: "7, 9, 16, and 19 for the Veilguard meme!"
7. Felassan fr 🧎🧎🧎 even if this is only in the form of some kind of Fade dream or flashback/memory sequence 9. I'm stuck between Davrin, Neve, Lucanis, Taash and Bellara :D 16. for 16 pls see above ^^ 19. I'm currently doing a re-read of Tevinter Nights to brush up on it before release! I think re-reading the other DA:TV-era/DA:TV-promo materials (DA: The Missing, the shorts) and replaying Trespasser will also be a good idea for me before release.
ruushes asked: "for the datv hype asks, 3, 6, 9? :)c"
for 3, 6 and 9 pls see above ^^
mewsly asked: "8 and 19 for the Hype Q&A? :D Also thank you so much for all that you do to keep us all in the know! <3"
(thanku sm for the lovely msg.. 🥺)
8. I think I'm most excited to learn more about the Shadow Dragons (like who leads the Shadow Dragons? do they have ties to the Lucerni, and therefore Dorian and Mae? is the Viper associated with them?) and the Veil Jumpers. I'm also excited for more Crow lore. 19. for 19 pls see above ^^
kirkwallsquad asked: "4, 13, 14, and 20 for the hype q&a please :D"
4. for 4 pls see above ^^ 13. I think the CC looks fantastic and is really cool! 14. I will miss having three companions with me. 20. 'Post a picture or gif that conveys your current level of excitement for Dragon Age: The Veilguard!' - here is a picture -
and here is a bonus moodboard -
thanku sm everyone for the asks and questions, this was fun to do!!

DIVE INTO THESE NAUGHTY PARANORMAL TALES
The sea's bounty is never without a price, as shown in this quartet of lusty novellas. Four talented authors take you on a mythological odyssey of agonizing pleasure. From sea deities to Fae creatures to Lovecraftian horrors, from BDSM to tentacles to erotic horror, hold on tight as they tempt you into the ocean's watery embrace.
In Devi Ansevi's "Treasures from the Sea", the demands of parenthood have dampened the fires for Quin and Calli. On a weekend getaway to revive their romance, they're invited on an overnight sail. When both are attracted to the charismatic captain, will their marriage survive his unusual proposition?
In JD Carabella's "To Each, Her Own", a lonely divorcee meets a handsome stranger who ignites a reckless fire inside. Seduced and then rejected, Desiree's depression rears its ugly head again. She's offered a fateful choice - will she find something worth living for?
In Katherine Nevitt's "Poseidon's Pleasure", a dark secret from Rose's past is about to bite her in the ass. The Greek god of the sea has been promised a bride and he will have her, no matter what it takes. Can Rose bear to face the consequences when a god offers her the world?
In Essemoh Teepee's "First Mark and Other Episodes", the SHAKKAN came through gateways revealed by the sea. They are the Shepherds, humanity is their flock. For millennia they have taken a very particular tribute from humans bred to withstand the most extreme forms of pleasure and pain. Escape from such powerful masters is impossible. Or is it?

Good News, Good Music 1.0
Here we are at the end of 2020. We don’t need to tell you that this has been a very hard year. We are feeling beaten down by the bad news and music is the one thing that lifted our spirits again and again and saw us through. We have partnered with our friends at Cyber PR Music to bring you a series of GOOD News from artists who carried on making music in spite of all of the insanity that was happening and continues to grip us. We have cried listening to some of the tracks, felt deeply inspired and yes we laughed as well. What we have seen is the Cyber PR artist community is rich and varied - there are artists from all across the USA included as well as Jamaica, Australia, South Africa, France, Sweden, The UK, Germany and Scotland.
So - we bring you part 1 of our 4 part series GOOD NEWS, GOOD MUSIC.
Please Follow the Spotify Playlist below to hear all of these amazing tracks.
Thanks to all of the artists who shared their music AND their good news.
JVMIE & Lionel Cohen | “We Will Rise Again”
Started A Collaboration From A Quarantine Hotel Room and Got Nominated For A Major Award
We had a crazy year but some great things came out of it! I was forced to leave LA and head back to Australia until things ‘calmed down’ but started a remote collaboration with LA based film composer Lionel Cohen - we received a grant from HOTA (Home Of The Arts Gold Coast) to create an album and we were just nominated for a HMMA Hollywood Music In Media Award :) The whole process of collaborating and talking every day was what helped me keep my sanity throughout this crazy year!
Perle Vybz | “Electric Dancefloor”
Almost Lost Her Partner To COVID And Took The Leap Of Faith To Release Music
My debut single 'Electric Dancefloor' was released on Dec 8th, against the odds. A few months ago , my partner almost lost his life (to COVID). He was hooked up on a ventilator and had a really rough time. At the same time, I lost my main source of income and so, during the pandemic lockdown I had more time on my hands to focus on my music. So I'm glad that in spite of what was happening around me I was able to take that leap of faith and get my music out there.
Arielle Silver | “What Really Matters”
Became Music Connection's Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists and Bands and Top Prospects 2020 lists in their year-end issue
As COVID shut everything down in April, I leaned into my commitment to authentic connection and inspiring creative expression with the creation of two weekly livestreams: Tomes & Tunes, a weekly show where I interview songwriters about books, and Arielle's Acoustic Happy Hour, both of which are going strong. In June, I released a new album, A THOUSAND TINY TORCHES, along with two official music videos (one shot entirely during quarantine), which have been featured in American Songwriter, Music Connection, and more. And in September, in the wake of closing studios, my sweetheart and I launched a new online yoga studio, Bhavana Flow Yoga, with online classes, workshops, and retail.
Alongside my own sorrow at the pandemic, I have been living a year of creative expansion, and was recently featured in Music Connection's year-end issue on both their Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists and Bands and Top Prospects 2020 lists.
Hannah Judson | “Deep Sea Diver”
Launched The Backwards Record Release Concept And It Worked!
The 2020 lockdown was an exploration of new ways of doing and connecting. Everything became an experiment as new processes were developed to replace the no longer actionable old ones. I launched the Backwards Record Release for "Stingray," a rock/folk collection of songs. The 8 week campaign started with a socially distanced concert in a chateau courtyard, was fueled by my new podcast the Hannah Judson Beat, conversations with women in music, and concluded with a capstone edition of MUSEfest Online, a music festival I normally produce in major cities that promotes women in music, film, art and culture. I stayed connected with colleagues and fans, envisioned future projects, and maintained momentum and enthusiasm for creative projects, present and future.
Evan Mazunik | “Comfort and Joy”
Funded, Recorded & Released A New Holiday Album
I’m grateful that I was able to successfully fund, record, release, and sell my new holiday album this year.
Eli Lev | “Anywhere We Can Go”
Released A Touching Global Fan Driven Music Video
youtube
I had a powerful experience this year when my music community from all across the world helped me create the music video for 'Anywhere We Can Go.' I was in happy tears editing it and seeing all these wonderful faces come together and make something truly special. Here it is and I hope it brings some joy to folks.
Jeff Oster | “Five Great Mountains”
Found Solace (And Music) In Mother Nature
youtube
I was lucky to spend three months in the fall of 2020 up in Vermont. In the midst of all of the turmoil, Mother Nature just kept on shining. I was able to create this video on my iPhone, in an attempt to capture her beauty.
Beca Dreams | “Calm Before the Storm”
Had A Creative Burst That Resulted In Ad Campaigns & New Singles
It’s been a very challenging year, and yet I’ve somehow managed to have some awesome wins I am super grateful for.
Partnered with Bounty to write/perform Quicker Picker Upper, currently streaming on all major platforms and has gotten over 7M views on Tik Tok and 150K streams on Spotify so far. Composed/performed song for an ad campaign for fashion designer Asher Levine on launching his new groundbreaking LED outerwear line (who’s recently worked with Doja Cat, Lil Nas, Lady Gaga). I also released 2 singles “Calm Before The Storm” and “Taking Time For Myself” and most recently was featured on “Dance Party In The Living Room” by UK producer Fritz von Runte, about making the most of the quarantine.
I feel so lucky to be making music and doing what I love, which has been a huge silver lining during these dark times.
AfriCali | “The Struggle”
Turned An Eviction Into A Special Retreat & Healing Place
Our landlord lost her pilates practice and couldn’t afford her Oakland home so
Our family of four with a baby due any month now had to figure it out and find the humanity in moving out before the lease was up. In the magic of mother earth and without knowing we were blessed with a beautiful place to be away and seven thousand feet above the mountains where we could have this beautiful bundle of joy. Which would turn into a special retreat healing place after our departure this past October.
Akira AK | “Pearl”
Completed His New Release Remotely Over Zoom
My "good news, good music" story is simply how I was able to release 2 major projects this year despite everything that is going on: putting out my second EP and my first music video. The EP in particular had been in the works for 3 years and was SO CLOSE to being done when everything started to shut down, so with the work of my engineer, we set up remote sessions via zoom that helped put the last song over the line and get the release out there! From there I was able to promote it with it's adjacent merch.
As far as my first music video is concerned; I was able to safely show up in person in NYC and film it with the help of a great videographer. The conceptualizing of the video is very special and I think speaks to the experiences some of us have had about going to that special place inside your head where you feel most powerful/comfortable/fierce to deal with whatever is going on externally. The promo for the video was also a success in terms of being able to schedule it on time and put it out there to hype the video itself. And once it was out it was really (unexpectedly) well received!
Those are just my personal success stories and I'm excited to see others' as well!
Monsterboy | “Ain’t Worth the Dime”
Played 60 Livestreams That Reached 7,000 Households
When my husband and I found ourselves without gigs and our small business closed, we decided to go live with our music and stay in touch with our fans. We cobbled together equipment from our home studio and gigging rig, going live in that first week. We really didn't know what to expect. The messages we got from people were so heartwarming, we built a little community for them night after night, reconnecting with existing fans and finding new. In total, we did over 60 live streams during the shutdown and reached over 7k households on some streams. Entertaining and interacting with people was our way to do our part for our community. A podcast found us via the streams and started hiring us to produce music for their shows from it.
Artist: Crotona P., Producer: Pablo Brownbeats | “Silk”
Forged An International Collaboration South Africa and the USA via A Chance Facebook Meeting
I'm Pablo Brownbeats, a producer who has been producing since my youth and creating music for the last 12 years. I just released my new Ep with Crotona P from Rochester New York featuring Street Da Villain, Dj Shawn Touch, KING Flamez all from Rochester New York and SOLO MAJITA from Free State South Africa. The African Ep is available on digital stores and Bandcamp. I enjoyed making this project and it will be an honor to share the leading single Titled Silk.
This project was recorded during the early days of Covid19. Me and Crotona met over Facebook and exchanged some few words and he agreed to do the single (silk) then African EP was born.
Scott Whitfield | “A Bi-Coastal Christmas, Vol. 1, by Scott Whitfield & Friends”
Released A Christmas Album That Features Artists Who Have Passed That Started Recording in 2004.
Despite the challenges, I was able to release a Christmas album on Bandcamp! It's available as a digital download OR a physical CD. This is the culmination of MANY years of work (some tracks date back to 2004, and, sadly, a few of the artists who played on them are no longer with us).
John Maksym | “Drinkin’ & Thinkin’”
Worked With 22 Collaborators Spanning 7 Countries and 16 Cities
I kicked off this year as a solo recording artist for the first time in my life and had an ambitious goal of releasing music every 5 weeks. When the pandemic struck, I had just started recording my 4th single in the studio and everything got shut down. Within a couple of weeks I was able to pivot and invest money into building my own little home studio, to continue to create. With every musician in the world stuck at home, I was able to connect with a dream team of collaborators who helped me finish the song that I had started and go on to record 8 more songs through remote session recording from their own home studios. All in all I worked with 22 collaborators, spanning 7 countries and 16 cities, which I would never have thought of doing had the world not been in lockdown. It also allowed me time to revise my original release plan and build a more robust plan to release a number of singles and eventually an album throughout 2021.
Stay tuned ...There’s more Good News Coming!

oh? what’s this? a letter of parchment, carried in by a wingull riding on a salty sea breeze…but you’re nowhere near the ocean. how did it get here, and who is writing to you? all you know as you open up the message is that it must be someone special…
Dear Friend,
Congratulations! As per your interest in this year’s event, you are cordially invited as a representative of your region to participate in the Wallace Cup’s CELEBRATION OF NATIONS. This year’s Cup will be a time where people all around the world can come together, express what makes their regions special, and delight in the bounty of experiences that the rest of the world has to offer. Make your mark by showing us what you believe sets your region apart!
The first round is a feature never before seen in any previous Contest: The Pavilion round! You get to design a Pavilion containing food, activities and facts that represent your region best. And since this is a Contest, you’ll be following it up with a Performance--an Appeal that shows off what the spirit of your region is all about! Of course, we’re not just going to be letting in people from the world’s eight most prominent nations--Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Kalos, Alola and Galar. We welcome anyone from any country who wants their region to shine.
We hope to see you all in Kouralion City, from the subregion of Abyssio in the realm of Unima. Need New Places to Go to? Try Davao.
Taking a break from your annual trip to Korea? Avoiding expensive cities like Tokyo and Taipei because you’re trying to save up? There has to be somewhere else to go on a holiday. If you’re looking for a new and refreshing destination to make you fall in love with travel again, check out Davao. This city may not be as developed as Manila the capital, but it is the largest city in terms of land area in Philippines – some even claimed in the world!

What’s special about Davao is that it has a bit of everything for everyone (unless you’re a party animal). From food to festivals, from mountains to beaches, here are 5 Davao specialties that make this quaint city worthy for your next getaway! 1. Diverse and Delightful Davao Food

No trip is complete without eating what the locals eat, and in Davao, it’s a gastronomic adventure. The mouthwatering “pakfry” (fried tuna tail in pickled sauce) at Palo Vince Restaurant is to die for, or drop by the famous Marina Tuna to sample the freshness of seafood through signature dishes like “kinilaw” (citrus-marinated raw tuna spiced with chili) or “tuna panga” (grilled fish jaws).

You cannot visit Davao without having a fruit feast. You can find durian almost anywhere in Davao as the city is known to serve creamy durians all year long, so much so that it has even earned the nickname, “the durian capital of the Philippines.” The sweet pomelos are worthy for a try as well as they are readily available everywhere at a really cheap price.
2. Blissful Retreat to the Beautiful Beaches

Escape the crowd in Boracay and dive into peaceful paradise in Davao’s beautiful beaches, mostly centered around Samal Island - a 15-min boat ride away from the bustling Davao city. Located in the middle of Davao Gulf, Samal is blessed with a number of gorgeous sandy beaches with crystal blue waters and tranquil landscapes of the gulf from all directions.

Live the relaxing beach life at one of the luxurious beach resorts, the Pearl Farm Resort. The beach is one of the country’s finest, and the exceptional amenities are worth what you pay for. While you’re there, chill at the Parola Bar, a two-storey bar that opens your vision to infinity views of the clear blue waters.
3. Immerse Yourself In Vibrant Pinoy Cultural Festivals
source: https://www.instagram.com/p/BXNu6EHjlWy/?taken-by=kadayawanfest
One of the main attractions in Davao is their festivals. Every year, two main festivals become the highlight of Davao city: Araw Ng Dabaw in mid-March, and especially Kadatawan (held during the third week of every August). This is the most popular time of the year to visit Davao, as festival goers flood the city in August to partake in the vibrant celebration of life, where locals give thanks to the gods for the bountiful harvest and peaceful living. Araw ng Davao is another vibrant feast, where multicultural Davaoeños celebrate the people’s oneness and unity. The seven-day festival is packed with action where trade fairs and cultural exhibitions crowd.
4. Relaxing Retreat in the Mountains of Eden
Many people are fans of beaches but some people prefer the mountains. If you are the latter, then Eden is the place to be. It is a mountain resort located at 807 meters above sea level, offering a chilling retreat away from the city and indulgence in nature’s treasures, such as rich gardens of organic produce, flower gardens, tropical flora and lush greenery.
(Image @ Sun Star)
Eden Nature Park is not just a place for relaxation but fun and adventure too. The resort offers plenty of exciting outdoor activities for people who seek for thrill. Embark onto an adventure as you trek down the Mountain Trail; feel the gushing air when you experience rope gliding or their signature 200-meters ziplining known as Sky Rider. Craving for an adrenaline rush? Try SkySwing, where you get hoisted 24 meters above the ground and swing in the sky – literally!
5. Explore the Breadth and Depths of Davao’s Natural Landscapes

Davao boasts a wealth of picturesque natural landscapes untampered by modern development, leaving wild forests, rugged mountains and wonderful waters inviting for an adventurous exploration. Its wealth of natural attractions also opens up to a plethora of outdoor activities for those who want to get up and close with Mother Nature.
Perhaps Davao’s most iconic natural wonder will be Mount Apo, the highest mountain peak in Philippines as tall as 3,144 meters above sea level. Mount Apo gains so much respect and honor from the Filipinos that it is commonly acknowledged as the “King of Philippine Peaks”, and is even one of the highest mountains in Southeast Asia. A thrillseeker at heart who loves a hike? Come conquer the heights and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views and the divine sight of the sunrise!
If you need another reason to convince yourself that Davao is the next destination to be, know that AirAsia has launched a new route directly to Davao from Kuala Lumpur! To celebrate the launch, AirAsia is having a one-week promo where flights to Davao is only RM169. Book between now and 6 August 2017 to travel between 21 December 2017 till 25 February 2018.

The Tales of Yirma: The Heroes of Immonheim Promo
Yirma is busy, bustling with trade and the politics of the realm. In the cold and desolate northern Kingdom of Ostenheim, lies the small village of Immonheim. The morning fog rolls off the North Sea. The people of Immonheim would normally be scrounging for money, but a recent whale catch has filled the town’s coffers nicely. Unfortunately, the catch has attracted more than just trade to Immonheim. A ship appears out of the mist and makes land fall.
The ship’s banners are black with a cool gray cutlass. The ship’s ramp is lowered and the captain saunters off the ship. She has dark brown hair, a steel cutlass, a red cape, and blue eyes hidden behind her tricorne hat. To her left is her first mate, a fat gnome with a green cloak. To her right is a gargantuan blue orc with black eyes, fur armor, and a large axe. The other pirates remain on the ship, looking over the rails at the villagers gathered below. It is a small crowd of only a few unarmed people from the hamlet. A gray haired man in red robes, the village magistrate, steps towards the captain, carrying a small lockbox with a key around his wrist. He approaches the captain without uttering a word and bows to her. She stared at him for a while, and then bows back. They both stand back up and the man hands her the lockbox and key. She jiggles the key around in the lock, until it opens. It has 100 gold in it. The captain turns and hands the iron box to her first mate and motions him up the ramp.
“Will that suffice Captain...” the magistrate asks.
“Montez, Captain of the Frost Plague,” she answers, “and I must say, it is impressive when I don’t even have to call my raiders off the ship to get my bounty. However, that cannot be a coin over 100 gold, and I need more than 100 gold.”
“How much would be sufficient?”
“All of it,” she motions to her crew and they flood off the ship. They break down doors, raid any storage vessels, and tear the entire village apart scraping up every last copper in the village. They take any valuables they can find, from plates and goblets to heirlooms and jewelry. The wave sweeps over the village and they save the great hall for last. The beastly orc carries a chest with the last of the treasury’s gold out of the great hall and onto the ship. When the pirates lust for gold is finally satiated, they flock back to the ship, raise the ramp, and wave farewell. The small village that was on the rise, is now a desolate ghost town.
The simple villagers of Immonheim gather in the great hall. They want more than the return of their valuables, savings, and heirlooms. They seek swift and harsh vengeance. They have seen the ineffectiveness of the great lords of Ostenheim, they do not expect to find justice from them. The lords in their great halls and the King in his soft palace in Solenheim would not give them their lives back. They would need to find another way to find compensation, but all of their courage was taken from them. Little did the villagers of Immonheim know that fate was on their side that day, or that their saviors would be passing through the village the very next day. It was the beginning for the Heroes of Immonheim.

Crítica: The Walking Dead 9x10 Omega

Our shelter-in-place days just keep coming, and so do the livestream shows.
Once again, PEOPLE has a brand new batch of archived ones for you to pick from (all previewed from the comfort and safety of social distancing). More shows are being announced every day, so keep watch over your favorite artists’ social media accounts — or check out the Opry’s helpful calendar of livestreaming music and entertainment.
RELATED: Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and More: PEOPLE’s First Guide to Which Livestream Country Concerts to Watch
KEITH URBAN, 31 minutes:
The second edition of “Urban Underground” comes to you from his private Skye Studios, and he performs another six-song set, this time on ganjo, electric and acoustic guitar. Once again, his audience of one, wife Nicole Kidman, is there to dance to the music, which includes new single “God Whispered Your Name.” Memorable moment: Urban offers a tribute to hero Kenny Rogers, who died March 20, with a reverent reading of “The Gambler.”
Bonus: Barefoot and clad in all black, Kidman offers a charming performance as Urban’s roadie, changing out his instruments between songs.
DIERKS BENTLEY, 50 minutes:
Bentley delivers his cheerful charms and a setlist of six songs, including the apropos “Riser” and “I Hold On,” from a stool in the kitchen of his Colorado home. His alter-ego, Hot Country Knights lead singer Doug Douglason, also makes a cameo appearance to perform a saucy song (“It ain’t my fault / It’s that asphalt”) from his ’90s band’s new album, The K Is Silent.
Memorable moment: You’ll either laugh at or totally identify with Bentley’s heroic efforts trying to figure out a live Instagram video chat with Thomas Rhett. Success at last: TR remotely performs new single ” Beer Can’t Fix” (duet partner Jon Pardi is in absentia, of course).
CHRIS LANE, 34 minutes:
This show is short on music — Lane performs only two songs — but the adorable banter between him and his reality-TV show alum wife, Lauren, could qualify this for a series pilot. Memorable moment: Lane gives viewers a tour of the newlywed couple’s new home, complete with comic color commentary (in the master bedroom: “This here, ladies and gentlemen, is where all the magic happens!”)
Bonuses: The Lanes’ sweet mutt, Cooper, makes several well-behaved appearances. Also, Lauren Lane answers a viewer question about the possibility of a “corona-baby.” “I’d rather not refer to it as that, if it was in existence,” she mischievously answers. “Maybe … I’m not opposed to that!”
THE GRAND OLE OPRY, 90 minutes:
After Vince Gill’s memorable show last week with Marty Stuart and Brad Paisley, he returns to the hallowed stage with talented family members in tow: his wife, Christian artist Amy Grant, and two daughters, Jenny Gill, 37, and Corrina Grant Gill, 19. Each takes a turn performing an original song and a cover.
Memorable moments: Gill and Grant always earn superlatives, but the next generation’s gifts are also exceptional. Jenny Gill has forged a modest music career in Nashville, and here she shows she deserves more with “Mama Needs a Lullaby” and a John Mayer cover. Corrina Grant Gill, a college music student, is a revelation as a singer, songwriter and musician (on piano). Another Gill triple threat! (The first 30 minutes, by the way, are Opry promos and previews.)
ASHLEY MCBRYDE, 23 minutes:
McBryde’s second livestream, featuring all covers, continues to mine her eclectic memory bank of songs, no doubt assembled from her years of working bars and clubs. Among the surprising selections are beat-the-blues novelty songs, one dedicated to potatoes, to the tune of “The Mexican Hat Dance,” and another with sea creatures figuring prominently in the lyrics (“I lobster and never floundered”).
Memorable moment: Who would expect to tune in to a country artist and hear The Supremes’ “Can’t Hurry Love”? Bonus: McBryde wears a dinosaur onesie for most of the show.
MORGAN WALLEN, 34 minutes:
The great Mulleted One brings his bountiful charisma to the livestream, putting the “social” in social distancing with at least five other people (two band members, a band member’s girlfriend, a photographer and a cousin) present in his Nashville quarters.
Memorable moment: Of course he plays his hits, “Chasin’ You” and “Whiskey Glasses,” but he also delivers a moving a cappella performance of “How Great Thou Art.” Bonus: Boots, Wallen’s excitable new German Shepherd, who looks less than a year old, gets introduced. Mayhem ensues.
JIMMIE ALLEN, 64 minutes:
Shunning a home setting, Allen sets up in a large practice space with two guitarists and a drummer to essentially perform an entire 16-song concert, complete with live tracks. Alas, it’s not exactly a visual feast: The dim lighting and the remote stationery camera mean you’re never able to make out Allen’s face.
Memorable moments: Allen creatively reimagines his first No. 1, “Best Shot,” with a lengthy bluesy intro, accompanying himself on keyboard. He also introduces a new song, “Those Days Were Made for These,” that’s ready-made for these perilous times (“Remember to tell yourself forever isn’t right now”). To note: the show starts at 14:19.
SCOTTY MCCREERY, 24 minutes:
From his Raleigh, North Carolina, home, McCreery offers a four-song set with down-home introductions and storytelling in between. Memorable moment: McCreery soldiering through his emotions when he hits the “Five More Minutes” verse about his late grandfather.
Bonus: Dressed in a New England Patriots sweatshirt, he announces he’s definitely sticking with his Tom Brady-less team — even if they play Tampa Bay, Brady’s new team.
CAYLEE HAMMACK, 62 minutes:
Setting the mood by lighting a faux religious candle to “St. Dolly,” Hammack proves her larger-than-life stage presence translates well at home in front of a cellphone camera. Drawing on her years playing Nashville honky-tonks, she entertains with covers ranging from “I Will Survive” to “Stand By Your Man.” And don’t deprive yourself of your biggest laugh of the day, which is certain to arrive when she performs her own self-written song, “Knocked Up.”
Memorable moment: Hammack’s guitarist texts with an offer to chug a beer for every verse of Smash Mouth’s “All Star” she’ll sing. Hammack calls him up, sings two verses and is heading toward a third when you can hear him beg for mercy: “You’re killing me!”
AVENUE BEAT, 47 minutes:
Hankering for some hang time with your best girlfriends? This newbie threesome, who share an apartment, offer the perfect virtual substitute. Sami Bearden, Savana Santos and Sam Backoff’s music — and sublime harmonies — mostly come in snippets during this show, but their banter, teasing and easy camaraderie are just plain fun to watch. Memorable moment: When label head Scott Borchetta calls in and, right on the spot, promises to release one of their newest songs as a single on April 10. Entitled “Anxiety,” it couldn’t be more fitting for a global pandemic (“Thank you, anxiety, for making me scared of everything”).
Bonus: A friend — keeping her distance — arrives at their doorstep with a care package that includes Doritos, Double-Stuf Oreos and White Claws, and Bearden, Santos and Backoff dissolve into paroxysms of delight. “I’m so happy!” Backoff exclaims. “My soul has ignited!”
GRATITUNES, 3 to 5 minutes:
Nashville’s Music Row and its at-large creative community have launched this initiative, which gives artists a chance to musically celebrate the staff at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Brad Paisley kicks off the project with a lively acoustic “Southern Comfort Zone.” Other artists already queued up include Dustin Lynch, Lauren Alaina, Amy Grant and Sara Evans. All performances are archived at www.gratitunes.com, and keep checking back for new music. You can also show your support by posting a message on social media using hashtags #Gratitunes and #VUMCHeroes; all posts are populated in real-time on the Gratitunes website.

I found The Game Bird during SPFBO 2018 promo sale. The cover initially attracted my attention.
