Stana reading InvisiBill when she was a guest on an episode of Bookaboo.
I love when she did the voice for the mother the most. Those faces that she made is an added bonus 😂

Hello it’s the character/book matchup anon again 👋 I wanted to add, i JUST KNOW Cora reads books like The Art Of War by Sun Tzu or literally anything by Machiavelli.
What are your thoughts? Also i will sign off future asks with “📖” so you know its me. - 📖
Hey there, love. (May I call you love? I am a user of nicknames so take your pick: love, pet, bugaboo (bookaboo? - I also like puns), pookie (bookie- that one has levels), doll, darling... Anyway, hey there, Nonnie. Again, I am just obsessed with these asks. Thank you so, so much for them.
Cora
Cora. Cora. Cora. There is such complexity in this character depending on the season. But, I absolutely agree that she has The Art of War well-worn. I think she read The Prince by Machiavelli and thought he didn't go far enough - any notes of satire were lost on her. ....But, she has tucked in the sappiest, sweetest story - like a holiday romance novel, just soft and sweet and fluffy - beneath her matress and she reads it fairly often. It makes her angry and happy at the same time. She reminds herself that after the happy endings they are disappointed and everything falls apart. You just have to be stronger than those emotions that will overcome the weak and then you can take whatever it is you desire.

“Sir Lilypad” read by Michael Sheen
vimeo
That’s a 2016 episode of “Bookaboo” - a children’s tv-show - where Michael read a tale “Sir Lilypad“ by Anna Kemp.
And, honestly, I could watch and listen to it all day, so nice and expressive his voice is...
#michael sheen#bookaboo#but seriously his voice and expressiveness is something truly remarkable#I envy his children now#just imagine this voice reading a bedtime story to you#or harry potter#or good omens#or practically anything#I wish I had such dad

Bookaboo with “very-very good Welsh actor” Michael Sheen read the book Sir Lillypad by Anna Kemp. Michael Sheen is a great reader, you know.
Last two bonus gifs - Michael pretends to be Excited Kermit. Probably.
