went to a comic store today and saw individual issues of idw sonic in person for the first time ever btw . epic win
#not that ive never been to a comic shop before its just the only.one thats anywhere near me#is one i didnt know existed until like a year ago because its in a weird spot#and their hours are very incompatible with the days/times im actually able to go around shopping#and ive also been to other places that sell comics they just never hvae idw sonic#ANYWAYS i got to go today and they had sonic yayyy . and i also got an issue of monster high new scaremester#because ive really been wanting to read that one and havent been able to find it online like . at all. nobody is archiving that thing ....#i only got issue 2 though because they were out of issue 1#and i didnt have a single chance to check for issue 1 when it came out. because of the previously mentioned scheduling curse#nervous that i actually spent money on it because idk if im even gonna like it#ive heard mixed reviews on it and the book that its a continuation of . but fuck it we ball#also if this store carries sonic idk how i never saw it before because i Have been a couple times in the past#maybe they just now started getting it recently?? or just happened to be out the last few times?? idk

Tonight instead of sleeping my brain has decided it is time to try to understand how and why the anti-trans feminists (of all people) think the way they do and how someone would end up thinking along that path of logic. And it (my brain) does not want to stop before reaching some kind of conclusion. Which is not going to happen any time soon, certainly not before morning. Why does my brain pick impossible tasks to do at three AM? Why must the brain demand to comprehend all that seems incomprehensible? At the worst possible times?
#and if experience is anything to go by i'll be coincidentally meeting someone with that kind of opinions next week#because when i think of something random a little too hard it ends up being relevant in the near future more often than not#wonderful.#this is all because an online book store had a book about it#i could not understand how the author would ever first have these thoughts in the first place and then actually choosing to write the book#and my brain decided it had identified a gap in my knowledge that needed to be filled#this is what i mean when i say i have the curiosity curse#whenever there's something i di not understand i must poke at it until i understand it#and the instinct to know more overrides the instinct for self-preservation#a personality test of questionable reliability once called me devil's advocate and was not wrong

Ill never understand why people dont like tigerheartstar. Yeah hes cliche and the way he got his 9 lives was .. stupid. But hes the only leader next to leafstar that i think genuinely does things with good intentions. Hes a good dad to his kids, a good husband to dovewing, and from sunbeams pov hes just a nice person to be around. I feel like people get pent up over the concept of his character instead of the character himself.

#i went to this brewery near my house w my new texas bestie and we drank and shopped bc they had a holiday market#it was so fun!!! and nice to catch up!!#i also saw my favorite ex's new gf and she looked hot so that hurt!#and i also saw michael flynn government traitor drinking craft beer#what a day!#im also gonna be in boston for a few days bc of my holiday party#so ill see all of my boston bitches over the next two days too!!#im gonna surprise texas and get him a lil christmas gift he told me he was really into maps so we went into newport to this#fancy rare book store that has tons of maps and he was sooooooo into it#so i'm gonna go in my attic and dig one of my old maps of the island out for him!

#like I’m autistic and adhd and I’ve always been sensitive to loud noises#one of the things I like about book stores is the relative quietness#but today I felt so overwhelmed#it also doesn’t help that I have social anxiety so seeing so many people in the same place when usually there’s not a lot of people#stresses me out#and then I kept over hearing so many conversation#i could barely focus on the books#and there was one fucker who spoke SO LOUDLY#and he works there#and I got a fright because he began almost shouting near me#and he could be on the other side of the store and I’d still hear him#actually autistic#adhd

Surprise manga haul!
#prince's talk tag#i was able to get a ride to a store near me in hopes of them having bloom into you#they did not#BUT I got some books i was thinking of getting yesterday and passed on like the two books in the top two corners#i didnt catch up with sasaki yet but im not going on my booktrip next week so i decided to get the spinoff now#they didnt have the next volume i needed for witch hat so i held off on buying that#but i did find go for it again which i thought didnt get translated#and since i never see it anyway i decided to get it now#i saw phantom tales yesterday and i really liked the cover but didnt know if i should buy it#but then i read chapter 1 online and i got hooked#it gave vibes to a manga i read a long time ago about a supernatural being who resides at a cafe who solves troubles in exchange for dreams#and this one is about a supernatural being who owns an inn who allows people to stay in exchange for secrets#and the art is really nice so im interested to see where itll go#the reo and mabu manga i loved when i first read it and seeing it on the shelf made me wanna own it so here i am#ive heard good things about pancreas eating but never watched it so i wanna read the manga (i think it was a light novel first but *shrug*)#dk what summer ghost is about but the cover intrigued me
