DECEMBER PROMPTS 🧊 — 5. SETH CLEARWATER
A/N: honestly did not expect the Seth Stan’s to show out the way you guys did on that poll?!! Caught me off guard for sure! since back then I never found my Seth lovers anywhere but this is a good thing! All I imagine is warm fuzzies looking at not only Seth but Boo as well so you can definitely expect this to be some fluff! Also have a safe and thrilling new year, hope the best is coming for us all 💚
PROMPTS ARE FROM HERE & HERE + I’m using: 25.) Home for the holidays (“thought you couldn’t make it!”, running hug) + DIALOGUES — 35.) “Did you make me a tinsel crown?”
WARNINGS: as sweet as can be + probably too short for any of our likings! & Seth and reader are (aged up) about 25 :) + a quick write—if you couldn’t tell 😬
<- read my previous December anthology prompt here.
❅✧˖°・:*:。・:*:・゚.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ❅✧˖°・:*:。・:*:・゚.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ❅✧˖°・:
you’re at your parents, it’s early (to you) around ten am and you’re outside in the backyard. It’s the night after the annual Christmas party your parents threw, you crashed here at their residence that they’ve owned for around three years now and it still didn’t quite feel like home. You could say California never did, it didn’t give you the feeling of sunny superstar dreams and wonder—it turned out to be just another mile you can simply tick off from your odometer.
it’s funny how you never had the desire to be in this state in the first place and here you are living here for the past six months. You’ve been a few places since La Push,(Oregon, Minnesota, Maine, and finally residing in British Columbia prior) spending a good twenty years there before deciding to look elsewhere. You left before your family did and it wasn’t ever a competition but they can honestly say you’re the influence that pushed them to see more.
Everything of course was not all fun and games outside of the world you once knew but you wouldn’t completely rewind and start over. Some things needed to be done to figure out where you truly had to be. Which was your answer for it all but that came with tears you couldn’t hold back as you finished off a cupcake.
The end of the year was so near and yes you were thankful to be closer to your family again and the sprinkle of success this year brought to your table but there always seemed to be something still missing that you couldn’t shake. You’ve grown accustomed to everlasting change in your life—I mean the supernatural world can get pretty wild no matter where you went but you knew how to get adjusted after some time. Yet you couldn’t explain the puffiness on your face to yourself although those deemed it as good sleep. Waking up in tears was not what you expected the day after spreading joy but the cool plunge from the winter air soothed you just fine.
Wrapped in a blanket, staring out into the pale yellow sun behind the haze of blue, you’re chewing the last of the soft cupcake, lost in your own feelings that you don’t even register your name being called. Standing in the middle of the slightly messy backyard, you take your time glancing over your shoulder at the mention of your name and feel your breathing hitch.
Behind your father is a face that you’re all too familiar with. Then it all starts to make sense as a once cautious glance turns into a famous grin that always meets his dark eyes. You’re supposed to be cleaning up the backyard but instead you’re running full speed into the tender arms of a person dear to your heart.
Seth Clearwater.
Your eldest friend who you had the best time getting in touch with over the last year. How ironic is it that he’s been living in California all these years? Information that your parents left out although your dad talked to Charlie and Sue often. Perhaps that was their way of protecting your heart? That Seth was once upon a time a brushed off subject that most refrained from bringing him up. He was disappointed that you were leaving five years ago and you tried your hardest for him to go along with you but Seth wasn’t ready to leave La Push behind for good like you were.
You were both on opposite ends. You finished community college and you were accepted into another school in a different state but those two years felt like enough for you. You had savings for traveling and that’s what you did, to find a better sense of yourself outside of what you’ve always known.
Unfortunately that included Seth.
You tried to keep up with postcards, phone calls, emails, and texts but that just became a reminder that life went on without each other in it. Something you both had to accept although the sadness was hard to beat until you both learned to stop thinking as much.
Perhaps you never really did.
“Thought you couldn’t make it!” Your head is buried into his shoulder as you squeeze him tightly.
You haven’t seen each other since you were both twenty, reconnecting through social media after Seth decided to hop back on and it was shocking to hear that he and Leah were both making an attendance to your parents home, flying and driving in that Friday. The dejection was evident on your face when Leah was at the door alone and she made blunt attempts (in Leah fashion) to soothe over the sting. She was very vague and so was Sue—which was not like her now looking back on it.
Seth was expecting a text from you, questioning about his whereabouts but was met with radio silence which said enough. He was quick to question everyone else in the family group chat but sue was more reassuring than his step-dad Charlie and big sister were.
He chuckles as he wraps an arm around you, “Fooled ya, didn’t I? There’s no way I’d bail out completely. Just got wrapped up in some last minute things on the holidays, which sucked but I’m here now to see you.”
Lifting your head you stare up at Seth, scanning over his features which were still there, just defined as he stood in his adulthood, with his hair much longer and free on his terms.
“I’m glad.” You offer a smile, which felt tight against your slightly swollen face, “and also can’t believe it! When Leah told me something came up, I actually wanted to head back home.”
“Aw well…I’m glad you didn’t.” Seth informs, “I hear you have a strange roommate according to your dad.”
You glance at the space where your dad once stood and scoff. “Melvin just…loves his reptiles. He works at a pet store and I told him that as long as he has a good watch on them and I don’t get bit by any of them to the point I’m unalived then…it’s cool with me.”
Seth raises his brows, “Wow…I’m impressed.”
“What? Why?”
“If I remember correctly you were afraid of the simplest of things like: crickets, dragonflies, and butterflies. Now you’re telling me you live with reptiles?” Seth quizzes with a smirk.
You shrug, “you can’t hold the past against me! I’m experienced such growth and we have time talk about everything right?”
Seth briefly cups your cheek, before slipping it to rest against your blanket covered shoulder, “as much time as we need.”
One thing about Seth Clearwater, he’s always been sincere and that hasn’t changed in the last five years.
“I have something for you,” you say disappearing into the house, ignoring the stares from your dads’ to grab the item before heading out back once more, “here we are.”
Seth lowers his head a bit as you get the item settled and he peeks up with a grin, “Did you make me a tinsel crown?”
“You may have missed out on the shenanigans last night but I saved you one just in case,” you tell as Seth models the shiny crown in the backyard while you clap in approval.
Seth sighs, “thanks for thinking of me…care to take a stroll and tell me everything?”
He holds his hand out, awaiting for your grasp and you don’t hesitate because you know that Seth will share the same as you make laps in the backyard together. Arm now looped with his, head resting against his shoulder as you take turns telling each other just how much you missed being side by side.
The looks of longing passed between the two of you, which answers the questions the final month of the year brings: you’ll always be the best part of each others lives no matter what the distance may bring.
Seth’s warmth and compassion reminds you that, the blues—you didn’t realize that you even had—don’t deserve a place here.
He does.

for jay from descendants, i want a smut bc he’s so scrumptious- sooo him and reader have been fwb for at least a month, and one day after jay’s tourney game it feels different? SMUT PLS LMFAO tysm i’m in luv your writing 💋
omg YES i’ve been wanting to write for him, also if your request hasn’t been posted yet i’m going down the line! sorry for the wait <3
benefits
pairing: jay x reader
fandom: descendants
summary: jay & the reader are friends with benefits but one day after tourney everything changes
warnings: smut, switch!jay if you squint, oral (m receiving), pet names, somewhat pda, no sex but it’s still filthy
nsfw below the cut .・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。
usually jay wouldn’t see himself as much of a sexual guy. that was, until he met you.
when you were first introduced to him, by ben, there was obvious chemistry. he was the “bad boy from the isle,” while you were the “good girl from auradon,” (which wasn’t true at all) but you couldn’t help but notice how he got nervous whenever you entered a room. he was basically head over heels for you.
there was even one time, where you overheard him masturbating and he was saying your name. that was what got you.
so that quickly turned into something, flirting, and teasing each other. then you both discussed it one night after mutually masturbating with each other, and you both agreed to become friends with benefits.
you were sat at his tourney game realizing how far you both had come, literally.
you watched in awe as he scored the game winning goal, making you smile as he was lifted up by his teammates and the whole crowd started cheering.
the group carried him into the locker room, cheering, and your smile stayed displayed on your face.
a couple minutes later, you felt a nudge at your shoulder, turning to see evie.
“i saw you staring at him. the whole game.” she spoke with a giggle, wrapping her arm around you. you rolled your eyes and smiled, “he’s hard not to look at. i was just watching the game.”
evie scoffed. “whatever you two got going on, friends don’t look at friends that way. go convince him! the worst that could happen is that he rejects your offer and you continue fucking occasionally.” evie laughed.
you smiled at her, “okay, fine.” you quickly ran to the locker room and made sure all the other guys were out. jay was the only one in there, you could tell, he was humming a deftones song as he washed his body.
you watched, trying not to giggle as you slowly started took off your clothes. you were fully undressed as you walked over to him and he turned, saw you and jumped.
“you almost gave me a heart attack!” he spoke with a laugh, holding his hand over his heart. “why are you in here!?” he whisper yelled, remembering where he was.
you smiled, “you won, jay, i’m here to celebrate. remember what i said earlier?”
jay felt his cheeks get hot, remembering what you said. “that if i won i would do whatever you wanted me to?” you nodded and wrapped your arms around his chest, hugging him and gently placing your lips onto his.
“what’s it gonna be, captain?” your words made him smile, and immediately get hard, “i don’t know, maybe you should kiss me first.”
as cliche as he sounded, you could never resist his touch. your lips smashed onto his, his hands roamed to your waist, using his hands to apply force and push you against the wall. he was always more aggressive when he was hornier.
your tangled your fingers in his soft, raven hair, smiling into the kiss as tugged and he gasped into the kiss, then moaned.
you slowly pulled your lips away, earning a small whine from him. he stopped and watched as you slowly got onto your knees. “baby…” he trailed off, as if he didn’t want you to.
you shushed him, “don’t even start, love. unless you don’t want me to…” you started to slowly stand up. he stopped you.
“no, please do. i just don’t want you to feel like you have to. that’s all.” he spoke. his words made you smile.
he watched as your face changed, and you smiled, completely changing your whole demeanor.
his mouth fell slightly open as you spoke, “baby, i like pleasing you. especially when i get to hear those pretty sounds you make. gets me wet every time. fuck my throat. do whatever you want to me.” his hips practically buckled as you spoke. he rested his head on the shower wall, “fuck, okay.”
he tried not to melt as he felt you run your tongue the underside of his cock, looking up at him with doe eyes as he swore loudly, his voice slightly louder than before.
you moved your tongue along his tip many times until his hips stuttered, “fuck. i’m sensitive, please,” his pants only made you more eager to tease him.
jay wasn’t normally one to beg, but when it came to you, and he was extra horny, he loved letting all his filthy little words fall from his mouth.
“be patient, baby.” you spoke. your hand gripped firmly, very slowly pumping his cock. his slit was leaking with precum, he was already so worked up by you.
he watched carefully as your lips wrapped around his tip, you kept pumping him but this time at a faster pace. “fuck, feels so good,” he managed to mutter along with his whimpers and pants.
you started to bob your head on him, resisting the urge to moan as he moaned. the realization was sinking in. the hot guy in front of you, was moaning and whimpering because of your mouth. you couldn’t imagine anything hotter.
he looked at you with half-lidded eyes, he was already a moaning mess and she knew he wouldn’t last much longer. he had a thing for being dirty in public and he also just loved the sight of you on your knees for him.
“keep stroking it while you suck it baby… i’m so close, fuck.” his voice was almost slightly high pitched, the whine he let out after added the affect.
you bobbed your head faster before holding your head at the base of his cock. he practically lost his breath, “oh fuck, you want it don’t you.” he said, throwing this head back. he moved his hands to the back of your head and held it there, keeping him at the back of your throat.
he started thrusting his dick in and out of your throat, practically using you as his way to release. “i’m cumming, oh my god!” his whine sent shivers straight to your core.
he held your head as he came tensing up before he shivered and loosened his grip after his high came to its end. you swallowed all you could, a few drops leaving your mouth and washing away with the water into the shower drain.
jay was still out of breath, shivering as he realized what just happened. “are you okay? did i hurt you? i’m sorry-” he immediately began to ramble, realizing how much his arousal took over.
“that was so hot,” was all you said as you stood up. jay sighed and watched as you just smiled at him, no sign of hurt or discomfort in your expression.
he pushed your wet hair behind your ear, “are you sure i didn’t hurt you?” he used his other hand to softly lift your chin.
you shook your head, “no, my love. i actually enjoyed that.”
jay sighed and stepped out of the shower. he grabbed your clothes and handed them to you before he got dressed himself.
when you were dressed, he turned to you with a grin.
“how about you let me take you out on a real date?” you could tell he was nervous, his hands were shaking, could’ve been from the breathtaking orgasm he had not even two minutes ago, he was still out of breath, and when he tied his towel around his waist he failed twice before actually tying it.
you smiled, ready to tease him again, “are you asking me that because of the blowjob or because you like me?”
jay rolled his eyes, “because i like you, y/n. you know you don’t always have to be so difficult and demanding.” as he finished his sentence his towel fell down once again.
you couldn’t help but giggle, “well, you seem to like it when i’m demanding, you were moaning at my words not even 2 minutes ago.” you slowly walked up and him and ran a hand through his hair, “handsome boy.”
his dick hardened immediately as he watched her walk away. “goddamnit, y/n!”

Perfect(Seth Clearwater)
Paring: Cullen!Imprint!Reader x Seth Clearwater
Summary: Seth never expected to turn into a wolf, let alone imprint. But after the new born army Seth imprents on the youngest Cullen. they become love sick puppies and just try to have the time of their lives at Edward's wedding. (sorry for any spelling errors)
Twilight Master list
I found a love, for me
Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet
Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
Me and Seth hung close together as we walked around the sea of people, Bella and Edward's wedding reception was going off without a hitch. I didn't really want to be here, I hate huge croweds, but it was my big brother's wedding. It also helped I was with Seth.
He knew I didn't really want to do this, so he succeeded at spending the whole making me laugh. During the ceremony we couldn't stop giggling and making jokes about Bella, Sue had to literally sit in between us in the middle of my brothers vows. She found out that separating us wasn't gonna stop us.
This was Seth's first real party and he was always willing to try anything. We were know as the the sweet and innocent couple, we do are best to uphold that name.
“you guys are so cute together” Rose smiled, you knew Seth must be doing something right if someone like Rosalie saw him more as just a 'mutt'.
We tried to run off and get some cupcakes but Rosalie stopped us to get a photo. The first one was sweet but then they started to slowly become unhinged to the point Rose dismissed us. Emmett laughed as we went to sneak some cupcakes behind Alice's back.
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love, Not knowing what it was. I will not give you up this time
But darling, just kiss me slow
Your heart is all I own
And in your eyes, you're holding mine...
If your wondering I'm the only human in the Cullen family and the only one who has actual documents of Carlisle and Esme adopting me.
I didn't know much about the pack till I befriend Jacob. Dispite my family he had a soft spot for me, I met Seth threw him even. Of course I didn't get to officially meet Seth intill the newborn Fiasco.
What my family nor the pack was prepared for was Seth imprinting on me. Jacob had invited me to a bonfire with the pack and that's when it happened. This of corse cuased some problems with the treaty and all, but with the newborn army coming everyone let it go.
I never felt so happy to have him, I watched my siblings get married and fall in love and I was left by myself, thst was unitll Seth. He had my heart from the start.
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark
With you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass
Listening to our favourite song
When you said you looked a mess
I whispered underneath my breath, But you heard it
Darling, you look perfect tonight...
“come on! Dance with me” I said pulling him towrds the swarm of other couples. Seth laughed and spung me around before pulling me to his chest. I wrapped my arms around his neck and we swayed to the music in a uncoordinated way, we didn't have to dance like Baby and Johnny from Diry Dancing to have fun.
He took my arms and we just kinda playfully bounced around and bumped each other. Things didn't really calm down till a slow song started to play, wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton started to play.
“may I have this dance?” Seth playfully bowed. “you may” he smiled and pulled me to his chest and way slowly swayed to the soft love song.
Well, I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know
She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home
I found a lover, to carry more than just my secrets
To carry love, to carry children of our own...
I looked into his chocolate eyes never wanting this to end. We never really had a moment that didn't involve danger, so it was nice to just have a night of fun and laughter.
“have you ever thought about having a wedding?” Seth asked taking my hand in his and twirled me. I smiled softly. “of course, but we're too young to get married” I chuckled.
He smiled. “I know that...I want get a job and a maybe a small house on the res for us before we do all that”
“sounds like a plan” I smiled.
I knew in the future when it came down to either Seth or the family, I would chose Seth. I love my parents and siblings, they gave me a second chance when they adopted me. But then we move all the time and I'm not taking Seth away from his sister and mother.
We are still kids, but we're so in love
Fighting against all odds
I know we'll be alright this time
Darling, just hold my hand
Be my girl, I'll be your man
I see my future in your eyes
“you got somthing on your face” I said to Seth as we were eating the cupcakes we we're not supposed to eat yet.
“where?” he asked licking the frosting off this thumb.
I smiled and wiped the frosting on his nose. “there”
“hey” he laughed and his eyes went crossed to look at his now white nose. He stuck his toung out and tried to get it. I laughed at his failed attempts, he gave me an 'oh yeah?' look and wipped some frosting on my cheek. I laughed and pushed him away.
He stumbled backwards and accidentally bumped into Alice. “sorry Alice” he quickly said. She rolled her eyes.
“you guys aren't supposed to eat those yet and please act your ages” I rolled my eyes, Alice wasn't used to Seth yet but I didn't care what she thought. I would fight Seth for as long as it takes.
“we are acting our ages, we're at the prime of our youth and we only live once” I said smiled big, Seth nodded agreeing.
I ment the 'only live once' because that's what I wanted, as much as I loved my family I want to grow old with Seth and have a happy, normal future with him.
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark,
With you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass
Listening to our favorite song
When I saw you in that dress, looking so beautiful
I don't deserve this... Darling, you look perfect tonight
“have I told you how pretty you look tonight” Seth asked as we walked around the house, the music was getting old so we went somewhere more quiter.
I blushed. “Yes, about a million times” I playfully blumbed his shoulder.
“well it's not enough.. I don't deserve to be in the presents of such beauty” he said in his best medieval voice as he playful bowed to me then pulled me into his arms.
I have faith in what I see
Now I know I have met an angel in person, And she looks perfect...
Everything seemed to be perfect when I was with him and even if we were just 'kids' I couldn't wait for the future... And whatever desserts we can steal behind Alice's back tonight.

can u write something with seth being more touchy than usual nd ppl noticing nd teasing him about it, nd like u can write the rest😔❤️IDK IF U TAKE REQUESTS ND ITS FINE IF U DON'T DO U, LOVE UR WRITING💞
seth clearwater x reader
summary: you and seth attend edward and bella’s wedding that takes place in the evening (unlike in the movies where it's noon or something)
i barely ever write anymore, i’m so sorry you had to wait this long for this 😔
i clumsily entered the living room and as i did, two pairs of eyes measured me up and down before my parents jumped up and hugged me.
“you look stunning sweetheart” my mom said, tucking strands of my hair behind my ear. “i knew this shade of purple would look incredible on you”
“thanks, mom”
“i thought you weren’t supposed to show up looking prettier than the bride” my dad joked.
i rolled my eyes and hugged him, just as the doorbell rang. i followed behind my parents, nervously fidgeting with my dress. as soon as they opened the door, they stepped aside, revealing my boyfriend.
my handsome boy.
he was holding two bouqutes of flowers, one of which he handed to my mom, who accepted it happily.
as his gaze met mine, his eyes widened and the world stood still, like it did the first time we ever saw each other.
“you are so beautiful”
my parents made us pose for a picture and they watched us in awe as we headed towards the car.
seth wrapped his arm around my waist and i gently let my head fall onto his shoulder.
“whose car is this?”
“billy lend me jacob’s since he’s… you know”
he started the engine and drove slowly, since it was still quite early.
“i still can’t believe edward and bella are getting married! i mean, everyone knows how in love they are, but still, this is huge! and they’re both just 18” i blurted out.
“it is kind of mind blowing"
seth placed his right hand on my thigh and my heart skipped a beat.
“is this alright?”
“yes” i answered and gave him a huge smile, which he must’ve seen, even though his eyes were glued to the road, because a shy smile quickly grew on his face.
"do you think they’re too young though?" seth asked, after taking a few moments to compose himself. "bella and edward, i mean”
“they are, they’re just about to graduate. on the other hand, they love each other and love drives us all crazy” i giggled.
“do i make you crazy?” seth asked jokingly.
“soo insane, but i bet it’s nothing compared to the other way around”
“i’m crazy about you” seth looked at me for a slight moment and my heart jumped again.
“i’m crazy about you too, seth, you have no idea”
after a little while, he pulled into the cullens’ driveway and reached for my hand as he opened the door for me.
i placed my palm in his and kissed him briefly. his face lit up and he kept me close, his arm around my waist.
we were warmly welcomed by esme, who led us to the garden.
fairy lights hung from the trees, resembling fireflies. a few rows of wooden seats were placed before the altar that stood covered in white, dainty flowers, much like the rest of the place. some of their petals had fallen on the ground, giving the scene a fairytale-like air.
seth placed his warm hand on my lower back and kissed my cheek.
“are you alright, sweetheart?”
it’s beautiful” i stated, still in awe of the remarcable scenery.
“so beautiful” he whispered.
i turned to him, but he was already looking at me.
we sat down and people started showing up.
finally, bella walked down the aisle, holding tightly onto her father’s arm. edward stood patiently, looking at her as if it was only the two of them, nothing else mattered. tears streamed down my face, overwhelmed by the beauty of it all.
they vowed and kissed and it hit me - there’s no such thing as ‘too early’ when it comes to love. it’s all about taking risks and putting your pride aside, because once you find the one person you know was made for you, you must hold tightly onto them.
“i love you so much” i whispered to seth.
“i love you too, beautiful” he gently placed his right hand on my hair and kissed my forehead.
his left hand stayed on my thigh, while the other fell onto my shoulder.
once the party started, seth and i were separted by the crowd, when bella pulled me aside.
“congratulations, sweet girl, you did it!”
i embraced her into a hug, and when i tried pulling away, she held me a bit tighter and whispered "not yet, i just need a moment"
"wow, you're a mess!" i laughed, referring to her makeup, which was mostly gone, due to her crying multiple times. "but you're a pretty mess and i don't blame you; God knows how many times i cried during the ceremony and it's not even my wedding!"
"it's so not safe for me to cry here, alice yells at me and emmett makes fun of me"
“where’s he taking you for the honeymoon?” i asked, excitedly.
“i really don’t know, he won’t tell me” bella laughed.
suddenly, i felt a hand on my waist and felt seth’s lips on my shoulder.
“well, hello to you too” i laughed and pecked his lips.
bella giggled awkwardly and looked around for her groom, who was at her side in an instant.
“you better slow it down, seth, these people seem too tired to handle another wedding tonight” edward joked and we all burst out laughing, but seth’s hands remained glued to my hips.
after a few moments, they both laughed as if one of them had cracked some joke bella and i couldn't hear, so she and i simply exchanged a suspicious look.
the newly wed couple was quickly stolen away from us by the other guests, and seth and i found ourselves wandering towards the quiet forest.
we got to a dimly lit opening; “a thousand years” could still be heard from the speakers.
“how can i love when i’m afraid to fall?”
seth tenderly let his hands fall onto my hips and looked me in my eyes and the same feeling came right back into my chest.
“all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow”
i let my head rest somewhere between his chest and his shoulder, while we slow danced.
"i have died everyday waiting for you/ darling don't be afraid, i have loved you for a thousand years"
seth and i hummed along and mumbled the lyric "i'll love you for a thousand more"

I do not own any of the twilight characters just using my imagination and creativity to give my take on them.
(also this song screams Seth so I thought it was appropriate)
warnings: I’m new to this so bear with me it might be terrible, I can’t think of any warnings
Seth and Y/N's love story was an unconventional one. They hadn't known each other before Seth imprinted on Y/N, an event that forever bound their hearts together. As they navigated their unique connection, their bond grew stronger with each passing day. From the moment Seth laid eyes on Y/N, he knew she was the one destined for him. The imprinting process had been overwhelming for both of them initially, but as time passed, they found solace and comfort in each other's presence. Their love blossomed amidst the chaos of their supernatural world. Their days were filled with laughter and adventures. Whether it was exploring the woods hand in hand or simply enjoying each other's company on the beach in La Push Seth and Y/N found joy in the simplest moments. They often spent lazy afternoons lying on a blanket beneath the shade of a tree, sharing secrets and dreams. Y/N admired Seth's warm personality and infectious enthusiasm for life. He had a way of making her feel safe and loved. Whenever she was feeling down or uncertain, Seth was there to lift her spirits. He'd surprise her with small gestures of affection, like leaving notes with uplifting messages around their home or whisking her away on impromptu picnics. One particular evening, Seth took Y/N to a secluded meadow illuminated by a canopy of twinkling stars. As they lay on a soft blanket, Seth pointed out constellations, tracing the shapes in the sky with his finger. Y/N gazed at him, her heart swelling with adoration. "How did I get so lucky?" she whispered, her voice filled with wonder. Seth smiled, his eyes reflecting the starlight. "I ask myself the same question every day," he replied, intertwining his fingers with hers. "You're everything I've ever dreamed of and more, Y/N." Their relationship was built on trust and understanding. Seth knew that Y/N had a life beyond their connection, and he encouraged her to pursue her passions and ambitions. He was her biggest supporter, always cheering her on and reminding her of her own strength and potential. Y/N, in turn, admired Seth's unwavering loyalty and selflessness. He would go to great lengths to protect her, his love acting as an impenetrable shield against any harm. Their bond transcended physical attraction, evolving into a deep emotional connection that brought them solace in the face of adversity. But it wasn't always grand gestures that defined their love. Sometimes, it was the little things that spoke volumes. Like the way Seth would wrap his arms around Y/N from behind while she cooked, resting his chin on her shoulder and leaving soft kisses on her cheek. Or the way Y/N would surprise Seth with his favorite treat after a long day, knowing that it would instantly brighten his mood. Seth and Y/N's love was a beautiful dance, a symphony of shared experiences and unwavering support. They knew they had found a rare and precious love, one that would withstand the test of time. As the days turned into months and the months into years, Seth and Y/N continued to build a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Together, they faced the challenges of their supernatural world, always finding strength in each other's arms. Their love story was one for the ages, a testament to the power of true love and the beauty of finding your soulmate. Seth and Y/N knew that their love was extraordinary, a bond that would endure forever, imprinted on their hearts for eternity.

The Secret’s Out
*This is kind of short but I’m just trying to get back into the habit of writing after a long time away. I hope you like it regardless! This is kind of a part 3 to the previous Seth stories.*
Seth and you had three more 'dates' since that first one. Each one was better than the last. The last date happened to be a week ago. You've been dying to see him again but school and life had been kicking your ass this week so you only got to communicate through text the last few days. He had to be one of the sweetest people you've ever met and always called you 'beautiful' when talking to you. You couldn't believe that someone as nice and sweet as him was focusing his attention on you. Your phone started ringing, pulling you from your thoughts. Looking down, you saw Seth's name pop up on your screen.
"Hey," you answered, smiling into the phone, "I was just thinking about calling you."
"Great minds think alike, beautiful," his voice sounded wonderful through the phone, his laugh making your heart race a little, "What are you doing tonight?"
"Seeing as it's finally Friday and I don't have school tomorrow, hopefully hanging out with you," you replied, your cheeks going warm at how forward but honest you felt you could be with him. He made you feel safe and warm and cared for.
"That's what I was hoping for, too. There is a group of us getting together tonight for a bonfire. I was wondering if you'd like to go with me." He sounded nervous, as if you'd ever say no to him, "I know you haven't met my friends, but they're going to adore you, I promise."
"I… I guess it wouldn't hurt to finally meet them," you replied, feeling anxious, "It has been over a month since we started hanging out."
"Sounds good! Would you like me to come pick you up, or do you want to meet me on the Rez at 7?"
"I'll just meet you! Saves you gas coming to pick me up and drop me back off," you responded. He said goodbye before hanging up, leaving you to your thoughts and worries about what you would wear tonight.
-
You arrived at the set time, dressed in a cute summer dress. Seth came running up to you, shirtless as always, something that always caused your cheeks to flush.
"You came!" He said, reaching out to hug you. He's always so touchy, something you've been getting used to lately.
"As if I would stand you up," you joked with him, wrapping your arms around his torso shortly before letting go and stepping back, "I'll be honest, I'm kind of nervous about this."
"It'll be fine," he reassured you, taking your hand in his and leading you down to where everyone was gathered, "Everyone, this is ______. _____, this is everyone." He spent the next few minutes, pointing out who was who and telling you their names. Some you recognized from the diner that first day and you remembered Kim from your numerous trips there.
"I hope our boy has been treating you well," one of the women, Emily, spoke softly, smiling at you, "We try to raise these boys with manners."
"Oh, he's been great," you replied, blushing as Seth squeezed your hand, smiling over at you.
"That's good, we'd have a problem if he wasn't," Sam spoke curtly, but the smile on his face showed he was joking.
The rest of the night went by quickly before a few more older men joined, beginning to tell stories around the bonfire. They were legends of the tribe, one standing out the most, about the tribe being descended from shape-shifters. You smiled as you listened, enchanted by the stories. After the bonfire ended, Seth asked you to walk along the trail with him, not wanting the night to end.
"So, did you enjoy yourself tonight?" Seth asked as you walked, your hands intertwined together.
"I did! Everyone was so nice and the stories the Elders told were mesmerizing," you replied.
"I'm glad. I really wanted you to meet everyone, you know?" He looked into the distance, like he was trying to work up the courage to say something.
"I could tell it was important to you," you waited for him to say something but he was just silent for what seemed like forever, "Is something on your mind?"
"There is something I've got to tell you… but it's going to be hard to hear," he said softly, coming to a stop and letting go of your hand.
"Is something wrong? Did I do something?" You immediately began worrying about what you could have done to upset him tonight. Were you not social enough? Did someone not like you? Was he going to end whatever was going on between the two of you?
"No! You could never, beautiful," he spoke quickly, trying to shut down the insecure thoughts. "It's something about me that I need to tell you about but it's… I don't know how to begin."
"You can tell me anything, Seth."
"The legends, about us being descended from spirit warriors," he began quickly, not sure how else to say what needed to be said, "It's not just legends."
"What do you mean?" You were very confused. This definitely wasn't anything you thought he was going to say.
"We are. Descended from spirit warriors, I mean." He could tell you weren't really following what he was saying, "The stories, about the shape-shifters? They're all true. That stuff really happened and is real."
"I'm not following, I guess," you took a step back, "So your ancestors were shapeshifters? That's impossible."
"It's not. They really were and some chosen few still do today," he explained, holding out his hand for you to grab but yours just hung at your side as you tried to wrap your head around what he was saying, "Say something, please?"
"What do you want me to say? You sound crazy right now, Seth," he had to be joking, right? This was just an elaborate joke he was playing on you, "You're saying that shapeshifters are real and that some of you are wolves to this day… Why tell me this?"
"Because… I am one as well," he said sheepishly, trying to put on a smile for you, "I'm a wolf."
"That's ridiculous. This is a joke, right? Please tell me this is a joke, Seth." He smiled sadly at you, dropping his hand to his side.
"I wish I could but this is real," he cleared his throat, "M-Maybe I should just show you?"
"Show me? You mean change right here right now?" You looked around, "Are you crazy? This is just great! I was really starting to like you, Seth."
"I like you, too. That's why I'm telling you this," he said quickly, "I don't want to lose you but I need you to know the whole truth of what I am and what you mean to me. It’d just be easier if I show you. I’ll be right back.” Before you could say anything, he rushed off behind the trees. Part of you wanted to just walk off away from this crazy talk, but the other part of you, the part that could feel the connection you had with Seth, made you stay. You heard noises from behind the trees before a large wolf stepped out. Your eyes widened as you took in the sandy colored wolf before you.
“O-Okay… so you’re not lying,” you replied shakily, taking a step back from the wolf who looked at you with Seth’s eyes. You felt your stomach drop as fear took a hold of you but something inside of you told you that you were still safe with him. He disappeared once more, returning back in human form before you could begin to process what just happened.
“I’m sorry it took me this long to tell you,” he began, stepping forward towards you. You were frozen in place as you looked at him, “I didn’t want… I don’t want you to hate me.”
“I… I could never hate you, Seth. I’ll be honest, I’m a little freaked out,” you replied, your mouth feeling dry from your mouth hanging open for too long, “But I don’t hate you. I’m a little scared.”
“I’d never hurt you!” he spoke quickly, reaching out and grabbing your hands, “That’s the last thing I’d ever want to do. That’s the other part. You remember the story about the imprints?”
“Yeah, the chief and his wife, right?” Seth squeezed your hands, pulling you towards him.
“You’re mine,” he said plainly, not sugar coating it at all, “You’re my imprint. You’re my soulmate.”
“O-Oh…” You didn’t know what to say. As he explained what that meant, everything started to make sense, like why you felt such a strong connection to him. You supposedly were meant to be.
“I know it’s a lot to take in,” he began, wrapping his arms around your waist as you still just stood there, “I’ve just dropped a whole lot on you.”
“You certainly have,” you replied, trying to find a deep breath,”But I think I’m okay.”
“Yeah? You’re not too freaked out?”
“I mean, yeah, a little… but it kind of makes sense,” you rested your hands on his arms that were around your waist, “I’ll need a little time to get used to everything, but I’m not going anywhere at the moment if that’s what you’re worried about. Can I go home now? I just need to think all this over.”
“Of course!” he nodded, letting go of you and stepping back, “Can I drive you home? We can come get your car another day, I just don’t want you driving like this.” You nodded, allowing him to lead you to his friend’s truck that he was borrowing. You got in and buckled up. The ride home was silent as you mulled everything over. When you arrived home, you both got out and he walked you to the door. “Will I see you later?”
“I told you, I’m not going anywhere just yet,” you replied, sighing as you gave him a short hug, “I’ll see you tomorrow. We need to talk about this more.” He nodded, saying his goodbyes before you went up to your room, changing and crawling into bed for a long night of dreams starring one young wolf.

"Listen, Brandon, Helia. I don't care if you date my friends. They deserve someone who will love them unconditionally. But make no mistake. Stella and Flora are like my sisters. All the Winx girls are. So if you guys even think of taking advantage of them in any way that hurts them... I will freeze your dick and balls off." Y/N warned.
Stella and Flora would kill him for butting into their maybe love lives, and acting like a big brother, but he couldn't help it. He wanted to lay down the law with these Specialists.
"Ooh, the big brother speech, eh?" Brandon teased.
"Y/N, you have my word as a Specialist. And as a gentleman. I would never do anything to hurt Flora. I care a great deal for her." Helia said.
"Good. I'll hold you both to those kinds of standards."

So Much For Normal - A Seth Clearwater FanFic (Chapter 11)
I drove home feeling miserable, there was no denying the pounding of my heart in my chest the second Seth came close to me. I have spent the past weeks pushing any feelings from him away and now here they are bubbling right up to the surface again.
"Are you going to explain or will I have to whip up a quick truth potion?" Hunter asked me. I looked at his face trying to see if he was bluffing or not. He was not.
I sighed in defeat, "Fine, the guys back there were the wolves I was telling you about " I explained. Hunters face displayed a few different emotions before finally landing on a knowing smirk.
"Damn , If I knew wolves were that buff I would have moved to Forks instead of you" He said, "and the cute one with the puppy eyes is yours I take it?"
I groaned, "Okay stop, he's not my wolf. They call it imprinting".
"Either way you have one very cute wolf who is very obviously pining after you, so what are you going to do about it?" He asked curiously.
A defeated sigh left my lips, "I have no idea".
***
"God I'm pathetic" I muttered to myself as I sat on my bed, staring out my window obsessively watching the treeline near my house on the off chance I catch a glimpse of something 'wolf-shaped'.
"I wouldn't go as far as pathetic" Hunters voice came as he stepped inside my room. I turned my head raising an eyebrow at him, "Yet", he finished.
He just laughed and sat beside me joining me in monitoring the trees. We were both quiet for a moment, the wind whistling outside the only noise to be heard.
"You could go talk to him" he spoke timidly as if I would get spoked and run.
"I can't face him, not yet". Wrapping him in my arms hugging the person who came closest to a brother to me, "Thank you for coming to see me".
"That's what family is for, I also brought you everything I could find on wolves" He told me handing me the large blue book that had been tucked under his arm since he first walked into the room, "It was in a box in the attic, maybe it will help or it could be useless" He said.
I chuckled taking the book from his grasp and flipping through it briefly.
"Y/N" Hunter said and I tore my eyes away from the book turning to face him, the seriousness of his voice getting my full attention, "Promise me you won't let what happened years ago stop you from taking a chance on what could be the best decision you've ever made."
"I promise."
I got into bed shortly after Hunter has left my room and began studying the book that he had given me.
It was full of information on all types of supernatural creatures. I flicked through until I came to the W's and as it turned out, there are two types of species that the pack could fall under; Werewolves, not to be confused with wolf shifters according to the text.
I read both descriptions intently but I didn't have enough knowledge on the wolves from the reservation to correctly identify them but maybe, they weren't like the ones from years ago.
I put the book on the floor beside my bed and turned off the lamp once I noticed that I just kept reading the same lines over and over before falling into a restless sleep.
****
I spent the next few days catching up with Hunter and he also did as much as he could to help me figure out what exactly killed my mother.
We unfortunately couldn't come up with the answer but that didn't stop me from trying.
"Sorry we couldn't figure out as much before I had to leave Y/N/N" Hunter said as I squeezed him into a hug.
"That's okay, you came and that meant more to me than anything else"
"Visit soon okay?" He shouted back as he made his way towards my dads car, "You bet".
I walked back inside once the car was completely out of sight and grabbed an apple and my backpack before heading outside again and locking the front door behind me.
I parked in my usual spot already dreading the day ahead without the distraction of hanging out with my cousin later to get me through the next few hours and was about to get out when the passenger door quickly opened and then closed again.
Renesmee was now occupying the once empty passenger seat. I stared at her waiting for some sort of explanation or reaction but she just stared at the floor of my care, not once sparing me a glance but I could tell, even from this angle, something was wrong.
"Ness?" I asked her cautiously.
She sighed, an obvious internal battle going on inside her mind evident by the grease of her brow, "They don't want me to tell you but I know it it were me I would want to know" She finally said.
"What would you want to know?" I asked, the feeling of dread washing over me as she turned to me and there was no hiding the sorrow in her eyes, she was about to tell me something I definitely did not want to here.
"It's Seth", it was all she managed to say before my mind went just blanked as if a switch had suddenly been turned off and no other thoughts were able to be accessed in the dark
"What about Seth?" I asked my voice barely audible, he supernatural hearing just about picking up on it.
"He hasn't been himself since that day at the beach, he's been really aggressive and reckless, it's the affect of the imprint, the pain isn't just physical but emotional too. He's been trying to push it away, block it out but"
She stops abruptly as if she really doesn't want to have to tell me what happened next.
"Ness, what happened to Seth?" I asked her, panic laced in my voice.
"He was on patrol, but he's distracted and not at his strongest at the moment, the rogue vampire took him completely by surprise, he didn't have a chance to fight back in his condition, the pack got there in time to stop her but she bit him"
I didn't miss the way Renesmee's voice went up an octave when she explained the last part, it was not normal but most of all, it was deadly to the wolves.
"He's alive but" she took a deep breath, "It'd not looking good Y/N/N, even my Grandpa couldn't do anything to help, a vampire biting a wolf is unheard of".
I sat there clutching the steering wheel in front of me, my knuckles turning white as I tried to process what was happening.
Seth was dying. My Seth. It was all my fault.
I sat there for a moment, before turning the key bringing the engine back to life and reversing out of my parking space.
Confused, "What are you doing?" Ness asked.
"We're going to La Push"
"Y/N, no. Leah wants your head on a spike and Seth isn't even conscious, there is no way they will let you anywhere near him, It's too dangerous" I could here the worry in her words but I wasn't sure who they were directed at anymore.
I stopped just before the car left the school gate and turned in my seat to look at my friend, "I can save him, please", I didn't even try to mask the desperation in my voice of stop the tears that were beginning to roll down my cheeks.
Nessie looked at my intently as if trying to figure me out before nodding, a quiet "Okay" and then we were peeling down the road in the direction of the reservation.

Part One: Slow Down ~Seth Clearwater
A/n: This is what I'm calling the Dance series I guess? There's going to be two parts basically, and it's going to be the same idea as I Think I Got You Beat- it has a song you can listen to while reading, but I'm not going to go word for word like my other prompts. Needed some variety so here's some Seth!
Additionally: I don’t hate imprinting, this is just my quick take on a fun possibility :)
Warnings: ...None? It’s really just fluffy with a side of angst lol. Enjoy!
MASTERLIST
I just wanna feel your body right next to mine, all night long- baby slow down the song. And when it's coming closer to the end, hit rewind. All night long, baby slow down the song.
"You've GOT to be kidding me."
Seth shook his head as he spotted the girl he didn't really recognize past what he'd heard about her. She was new to La Push- something about her parents being unfit, so she was sent to live with her aunt and uncle, who were on the Rez. Ever since the girl arrived there had been rumor after rumor about her, and she took each in stride, with a smirk and a coy refusal to confirm or deny anything for sure. It was the way she basked in stirring trouble and causing tension that set Seth on edge around her more than any rumor that was most likely made up anyway. Seeing her at school was weird enough with how she was so beautiful but so off limits in every way, but now? Seeing her party crashing the weekend fireside they were all having to hang out? It was mostly the Pack members, Jake and Sam's packs both showing up to reconnect and check in. This was a place they could hang out as themselves, without having to pretend to be human or speak in code or beat around the bush. Now, in their area of the sanctuary, the human no one wanted around had shown up.
Sam shot Seth a look, warning him to calm down. Seth glared at him until he felt Jake's hand on his shoulders. Ever since Seth had gotten older and had started pushing limits, only Jake could ever really calm him down. He stayed by Seth now as Sam moved to the newcomer. "Hello," he greeted very unwelcomingly.
The girl's smile widened, but it somehow seemed cocky, and that was irritating. "Hi! Saw the bonfire, thought I'd drop by and say hi." Sam's expression darkened, and her smile faded a bit. "Unless I'm not welcomed."
There was something in her eyes. Not offense or anger, but acceptance. It was almost like she had expected to be kicked out, just not this soon. Hurt and disappointment flashed across her face. Sam paused, his face softening. The second she noticed the change in him her walls were back up, and she smiled that cocky grin again. "Well then have fun!" She turned her back, walking back the way she came.
"Wait!" Sam called after her. She paused but didn't turn around for a second. When she did, the way she looked at him was almost flirty. He wondered if her moment of perceived weakness was an act or not. "We have room for one more," he told her.
She laughed, her head tilting back and her eyes sparkling. "No thank you, Mr. Uley. You can't party crash if you're invited. I'll see... most of you guys at school." she giggled and then turned around and strutted off.
As she disappeared, Leah joined Jake and Seth on their way to talk to Sam. The trio reached him just as he turned around. "Thank God," Seth breathed. He didn't want to deal with drama tonight, especially from people he didn't trust.
Leah and Jake saw the look in Sam's eyes though. Maybe there was more to her than what they had reduced her to...
-
After that night the girl that had shown up at the bonfire showed no further signs of character other than aloof and silly. She was never serious, choosing to lounge in her chair with her feet on the desktop in front of her, cracking jokes that only the people around her could hear. It got harder not to laugh and indulge her as she continued through every day and every week, never faltering or losing her forever good mood and a bright smile. She didn't pause when she made jokes, and she never failed to have a comeback. She was actually quite likable, even when she bit her tongue in a situation and you could read it all over her face that she had a witty remark or an insult that would be hard for everyone not to laugh at- except the victim of the comment, who would be mortified. Even in those situations, when you knew she was secretly insulting you or someone you cared about, she still had a vibe about her that drew you in.
She was private though. Rarely talked to anybody - other than her comments. Rarely even made eye contact or had an actual conversation with anyone past what other people initiated and carried. No one could get any real information about her or even any of her preferences- even her favorite color. The interest in her never faded because of that element of mystery and curiosity.
Except for Seth, who found her cocky and annoying. He didn't know what about her put him so off, but every time she got anywhere near him he felt really weird, so he just avoided her. When a distraction presented itself, he was relieved. A new wolf had shown up in town out of nowhere only three days ago, and with all of his friends talking about that instead of the New Girl was an appreciated change in conversation.
They had only seen him once so far. They had been out, mostly on a joy run when they'd come across an unfamiliar wolf. That same unnatural size and the same too-human eyes, but he refused to turn human so they could talk, and they couldn't speak through thoughts because they weren't part of the same pack. They tried to scare him off, but he was smaller than them and agile, just enough to get between and away from even Sam. It was moments like this that they really missed Leah and Seth. Embry had been the one to take it to Jake who had then told Seth and Leah, and now both packs were trying to figure out who this new wolf was and why he was there.
Just in time, the Cullens paid a visit. Bella liked to occasionally visit those she could so they would stay one or two days and see only those they could, like the pack or her dad. Charlie had stopped asking questions despite his curiosity, happy to simply be able to see his daughter. When they arrived, Jake and Sam warned them about the unknown wolf that was hanging around, and they all agreed to keep an eye out. They were staying for a week this time, which the pack appreciated. After all, the more hands, the better.
Or so they thought.
It was obvious she thought the house would be empty. Most of the Cullens were out hunting, so it was a fair assumption. What she didn't know was that Edward had stayed behind, having fed the previous night so that everyone could go tonight. They didn't want to leave Renesme alone with some rogue wolf on the loose who didn't know or understand the Cullens and would most likely come after them.
The second she stepped onto the lawn Edward appeared. "Why are you here?" he growled.
She was surprised and tried to use that to make herself look innocent. "Whoa, sir, I'm just lost. Can you please direct me to-?"
Edward's face twisted more menacingly. "I know what you are!" he snarled.
Just as the girl was about to get aggressive, Embry came stumbling out of the woods, looking as if he had just scrambled to get dressed and in the clearing before something happened. "She's harmless!" he assured, holding his hands out. "Human. She's the new girl on the Rez. Y/n, right?"
She nodded, smiling brightly. Edward's posture did not change. "She is not human," he growled.
Embry looked between Edward and Y/n before sliding between them, his chest to Edward- blocking the girl from the vamp. "What happened to innocent until proven guilty?"
"What happened to trust?" Edward shot back. "Did you forget I can read minds? She's not human! She's-" Having senses Edward's emotions, Jasper had warned the others just in time to bring all of the Cullens zooming into the scene, just as wound up and ready to attack. Sam was moving to him as well, not sure why the girl was a threat but knowing that she was one. The wolves had come here to back up the Cullens and if a mind reader who hated to hurt people unless absolutely necessary said there was a danger, a danger there was.
Jacob was last out of hiding from where the wolves had surrounded the house, ready to pounce at any needed moment. He looked at the girl in his wolf form, Seth and Leah right behind him. While Seth mentally grumbled on about how he just KNEW there was something off about her, his and the non-human girl's eyes met, and the entire world stopped.
Her eyes widened, and she stumbled just as Leah stepped over to keep Seth on his feet. Faced with suddenly a lot more threats she could handle it too short a time to make a plan and Seth on top of that, she turned. Right then and there she turned into the rogue wolf everyone had been searching for. One of the younger wolves growled, but Sam hushed him. There was more going on then they were seeing.
Leah, Seth, Jake - who were mentally linked - and Edward were the only ones who really knew what was going on. Seth had just imprinted on Y/n. Though, of that group, Edward was the only one that knew she had imprinted in return. The girl found her footing and panicked, forgetting her reason for coming and turning, taking off. Everyone was either too shocked or too unsure to go after her.
After she was gone, Sam looked at Edward. Answering his mental question, Edward responded aloud, "She was here because vampires were too close for comfort and she wanted to spy and see what we were up to. She wasn't here to attack." He seemed taken aback, having never experienced an imprint in time like that before. Even if it was second hand, having it from two people was enough to make him understand what it was like and he wondered how they kept standing after such emotions hit them. "I only realized after she-" Should he say? "She turned. She was surprised, and her guard went down, and I realized what her plan at been. A recon mission."
Sam looked at Jake.
He imprinted?
Jake nodded. Sam closed his eyes. Great.

The next day after school, Edward had Bella pull Seth aside and tell him that Y/n had imprinted back. "He didn't want to say in front of everyone. Figured that was kind of a private thing bet. It felt wrong not telling you either, though, so now I'm here..."
Seth nodded, a sort of bounce in his step. "Thanks, Bella."
It had been a week since then though, and it was quickly becoming apparent that Y/n wanted NOTHING to do with Seth or anyone associated. She had tried to make friends with them before, but there was a noticeable shift in her character now. She practically disappeared, and they realized why after Leah saw her notice Seth and then immediately turn the other way and full out run in the opposite direction. Seth was suffering, his need to be closer to her - at least SEE her - and the call to help her and be part of her life eating away at him as she avoided him. He didn't know how she could handle it, denying and ignoring the wants and needs she would be feeling just as strongly for him.
Finally, he snapped.
He showed up at her house half an hour before sunset, flowers in his hands as he knocked. It had taken some spy work to figure out where she was, recognizing and then following her scent until it brought him here. It felt creepy, but he didn't know what else to do. Now he had a little date planned out. Something simple. Flowers, sunset, talking. No expectations, just a little sit down to understand her and make a relationship with her so it would stop hurting him. When the door opened, he grinned upon seeing her. "Y/n-" The door closed and he took a step back in surprise. What was going on with her? "Y/n, please!" Then something occurred to him. Maybe she thought he still hated her! "I- I imprinted too!"
The door flew open, and she took his hand, suddenly running as if her life depended on it. He dropped the flowers along the way, so shocked by her attack. They were running, tearing out of there so fast she didn't even close her front door before they were gone entirely, in the woods with the house quickly getting more and more out of sight.
Just as suddenly as she'd started, she stopped, tugging him to a halt and spinning him to face her. He was mostly expecting her face to be ecstatic, but she looked anything but. Scared, angry, maybe. No sign of any kind of happiness. "What the HELL were you thinking?" He stepped back, shocked by her reactions and forever unsure how her brained worked.
"I- just thought you were avoiding me because you didn't know I imprinted too? Edward saw it when you- when we- he's a mind reader."
She glared. "Of course you guys have a mind reader." She scoffed, rolling her eyes and placing a hand on her hip. "Let me make something very clear Seth, I know you imprinted on me too and I figured you would think I also imprinted on you. Our reactions were the same."
Seth's face scrunched in irritation. "Then why avoid me? I know it's killing you as much as it's killing me. Why put us through that?"
Y/n looked at him like he was the single most stupid thing on the face of any planet, anywhere. He widened his eyes as if to say 'what?!' Her expression softened. "Seth, why are you here?"
He ran a hand through his hair. "I was going to ask you to watch the sunset with me? Talk? Something other than watching you avoid me like I have some disease you'll die a painful death of if you catch?" He threw his arms up briefly, his hands coming back down to slap against his legs.
She sighed. "Why were you going to ask me on a date?" He went to answer, but the look in her eyes made him pause. "Because I'm your imprint?" He shrugged. "You couldn't stand me before. Do you think I missed the glares you shot my way, and the comments mumbled under your breath? God Seth, you're not subtle!"
Seth looked away, feeling suddenly... off. Like the whole world had changed. Imprinting was good. Exciting and happy. This wasn't what he thought it'd be. "So... what? You're going to avoid me and blow me off?"
"The only reason you're mad about it is because you feel like you have to be with me! You have to be my boyfriend and by my side and-"
Seth blanched. "We could be friends!"
Y/n scoffed. "When have imprints ever been just friends?"
"Oh, I don't know, Quil and his imprint? Claire? Little girl? I'm sure you've seen them together?" He was full sass now, his hand on his hip and his shoulders dipping so he could be closer to her height.
That made Y/n smirk. "And what happens when she grows up? They'll be so close, and their bond will be so strong that I'm sure she'll be crushing on him from the time she's 11. And then she'll reach 13, 14, and things will take a real shift. 15 and he'll ask her on a date. They'll be dating before she's 16- I PROMISE you!"
Seth folded his arms over his chest. "And what's so wrong about that?"
"It's like an arranged marriage!" Y/n groaned. "No choice, not really. There's always someone who loves someone before they were forced to love someone else." Seth thought of Sam and Leah and looked away. "There's always someone who never wanted an imprint, who was vehemently against it until they imprinted and it suddenly changed EVERYTHING for them." That immediately brought thoughts of Jacob, and Seth wondered what it would be like for Jake of all people - who is the most against imprinting - to be thrust into a love he didn't want. "There's always the best friends suddenly turned lovers or strangers that become so close so fast that it gives everyone else whiplash." She paused. "There's always the boy who hates the girl until some magical fate bullshit decides he will no longer be able to." It was quiet for a second. "And what happens if I say no, Seth? We fall apart? We break down and lose our minds? Before I was hoping to just get you to not hate me, but now you're willing to do anything to see me happy. It's sick and twisted and unnatural, and I hate it!" Her eyes watered and Seth's heart began to ache.
He was shocked by how poorly he'd perceived this girl. Why did he even hate her to begin with? Because everyone else was infatuated with her, so he refused to be like everyone else? Because she was pretty? Because she was impossible to not like and he liked to do impossible things? Because he was suddenly in the mood to mess with people and cause little problems here and there that were utterly harmless... until they weren't? Because of hormones? Because she was a new face in a small town and she could light up a room with her smile, bringing a new meaning to the word 'life' with just the way her eyes sparkled? Because she was hard to resist and hard to stay away from and it threw him off in a way he couldn't comprehend or control? Because, maybe, even before she was his imprint she was his crush and he didn't like forced, rushed things either?
The epiphany hit him hard, and he wondered how he could communicate the thought process to her without getting interrupted, misinterpreted, or just sound pushy or annoying. Words never did the job actions could...
Actions took time though.
He met her eyes. "Why don't we just start at friends?"
She rolled her eyes. "Seth, where I come from, imprints are seen as... wrong. They're frowned upon. My parents would move us again, at worst. Put me on internet school at best. It doesn't happen much for my pack but after they were nearly wiped out a wolf whose imprint died... it's been totally off limits. Against the unspoken laws. It's best if we just stayed away from each other."
Seth's eyes widened a bit. "I don't want to stay away from you."
Y/n sighed. "It doesn't go away, the pain. But you learn to bare it, and once it hits a point, it stops getting worse. They say it's just like an emptiness. Like someone took a part of you away forever. It's not even painful after a while." Her eyes watered and Seth realized that she was scared. She had been brought to think of imprinting differently than he did and now she was terrified of the situation dumped in her lap.
Unable to help himself he stepped forward, wrapping his arms around her and hugging her. She gasped, and he expected her to push him away. But she didn't. She clung to him. They were both quiet a second before she finally did move away from him. "You're a nice kid, Seth. I'm sorry it was me."
She turned away and began walking back to her house. "I'm not," he told her. She paused. "And I'm not giving up on you. I was wrong to not like you before. It was dumb and immature, and I'm glad I imprinted on you because it forced me to see my bullshit to the core of this whole thing." He chuckled. "Emotions are hard, and I know you think it's wrong but... I can slow it down. I can make it as real as it should be- as it would have been if I hadn't. If we hadn't. I know I can do it."
"What if I don't want you to?" she asked without turning around.
He paused for a second. "Look me in the face and say you don't want me to. That you don't even want to be friends. Part of our group, like that day you came to the bonfire. Tell me you want me to go away and if you really want me to not be apart of your life, I'll do it. Whatever you need."
Y/n was quiet for a second. Her hands curled into fists and then she kept walking, and Seth smirked, watching her.
Just like I thought, he thought to himself.
He was determined now. He'd be gentle, but he was determined. Determined to prove to her that she was wrong and there was more to this than she had been taught.
-
Seth kept his promise.
He waited two weeks before he even acknowledged her again. Until his chest hurt and his stomach was in knots, and his heart felt like pure metal, heavy and weighed down in his chest. Only when Seth missed her so much that he couldn't pretend he wasn't feeling it anymore did he finally break, finally stopping himself from going out of his way to avoid her. One day he held a door open for her. It was so casual and lowkey that he didn't even look at her as he held it open. She shot him a look, but he only looked at her after a second, motioning her to keep walking after it seemed she was stuck in place. She thought he would hover around her after she went through, but he only brushed past her and then made his way to his friends.
Another time she dropped a book while she was juggling a bunch of things in her arms, and at once and he appeared seemingly out of nowhere with a polite, friendly smile. He went to hand it back to her before he saw her struggling and paused. She saw him look at her struggling and the moment he decided he was going to help. For a second she was going to snap at him to back off, but then he very concernedly asked, "That looks like you're caring a lot. May I please help?" She had seen Seth hold doors open for other girls and help teachers or neighbors carry things to places if it was too heavy or too much before. What would it be different if he helped her now? So she said yes. He looked so relieved that she chuckled.
After that, he told her her backpack zipper was open. Or that her shoes were untied. Or that her hair looked pretty. He eased himself into her life as naturally as if it hadn't been planned. It was so easy for him to go from noticing her need for help to seeing her regularly from then on. It felt so typical that she was taken aback.
Who'd have thought a seventeen-year-old boy would have so much control? From there he started to bump into her more. He'd acknowledge her as he went inside, calling her name and waving. He greeted her as he held a door open, by name. If they happened to be walking down a hallway together in the same direction, he would move up next to her and start idle chatter about casual, mundane things. Suddenly they were acquaintances, and she realized that he had weaseled his way to that spot so quickly, so smoothly, it was as if it was made for him specifically.
A month had passed from when they'd had their showdown in the woods before he approached her at lunch and sat with her. At first, she was tense, but the reaction was so much less severe than if he had done so at the beginning. They began chatting, catching up, gossiping. He got her to laugh, and she got him to roll his eyes in amusement. Three days later, Seth's friends came to them as well. One by one they came to sit at her table until Jake, Embry, Quil, Seth, Colin, and Y/n were all sitting together at lunch, cracking up hysterically and shoving and teasing and acting as if they had known each other forever. Just like that Y/n was one of Seth's friends.
Everything was going good... until the dance came up.
Prom, oh, prom. It was their senior year, and Seth was stoked to go to prom as a last hurrah for his senior year, and the final step to his plan. He had looped everyone in on it and as an entire pack (and friends, with even Sam's pack offering to help). Making the poster, planning the perfect place to wait as Y/n made her way from school to her house. The pun and the flowers- they all made sure everything was perfect. The others didn't know why because Seth didn't want to tell them anything Y/n wasn't willing to have them know, but they did know that it was imperative that he was careful and precise and that nothing went wrong. Any little thing could set her off and then she'd be gone, and all his hard work would be for nothing. He had to respect her boundaries too.
He waited by himself a little ways from the school so that when he faced Y/n, it would be just him and her. Private. No pressure, no audience, and no chance it would get back to her parents too soon. She'd have time to think and process and make a decision without feeling like he was rushing or forcing anything. When he saw her face, he perked up, shaking the little poster he'd made. It was small for a sign- more movie poster sized than prom poster. Easy to carry or throw away if this went wrong. "Hey," he greeted. She was about a foot away, and when she saw his stance and what he was holding, she froze. Now he tried to ease into it so she wouldn't freak out. "Y/n, you're a good friend of mine. I think so anyway." He was suddenly nervous, far more than he had been before. What if he hadn't accounted for something? What if no matter what he did or how long he took, he would never win her over? He could be satisfied being her friend if that was what she really needed, but it was HIM that liked her. HE - not the wolf and it's stupid instincts - was asking her to prom. He wanted this, so badly he knew his heart would break if it was as impossible as she had first made it out to be. "Um." He paused, looking up at her. "You don't have to say yes. But I really like you, Y/n. Me."
She looked up at him, her eyes widened as she slowly approached him. He watched her. "Seth..." She panicked, covering her mouth. "I want to say yes." He didn't move a single muscle. She looked at him very carefully. "I mean... ME." Her palm flattened against her chest. Her eyes watered and she almost smiled. "I want to say yes. Past instinct, past need, I just want to..." Seth grinned until her smile fell, horror filling her expression. "Oh my god, I'm in love with you."
She had said it so quietly he'd almost missed it. Almost. He stepped closer. "Y/n-"
But she stepped back, her hands up. He faltered. "No." She shook her head, eyes widening more. "No."
He set the poster on the ground, leaning it against a tree as he slowly approached her. Her hands stretched out, trying to keep him away. He grabbed them with his own, bringing her fingers to his lips. "I love you too," he whispered, close enough to her that she couldn't miss it. "ME. I do, not the imprint stuff. Just like you said. I promise." Her eyes closed. "I know. Without us imprinting, I know we would still be here. Right now. We would still be in this exact position, and you'd still be asking me to prom, and I would be as terrified as I am right now because, even if I hadn't imprinted, I'm still... terrified."
"Of me?" Seth asked gently, almost hurt.
"Of me," she corrected. "Of my heart and my feelings." She looked at him. "I've never fallen in love before."
Seth stepped closer, one of his hands moving to brush against her cheek, her jaw. He calmed her with his touch and the soft smile that adorned his lips. "Neither have I. We'll go on from here just as we did before, yeah? Slow and steady. We're figuring it out together."
Looking up at him, Y/n finally smiled. "Yeah. Okay." She still felt scared, but less so when he was by her side, having her back. If giving into her fear meant losing Seth, what better reason did she have to be brave than to keep him around as long as he'd let her?

seth clearwater | imprinting
seth clearwater. 679 words.
You and Seth Clearwater had never been close. The Clearwaters were family friends but you'd only hung out with their son a few times, and it hadn't been enough to form a strong bond. He was too young for you; you were a year older and had other priorities.
But when Harry Clearwater, Seth's father, passed away, your family was always there to comfort the rest of the family, which meant started to see Seth a lot more often.
"The Clearwaters are coming over for dinner," your mother told you one morning at breakfast. A feeling of disappointment washed over you.
"But, Mom, I'm supposed to go to Port Angeles with my friends."
She shook her head. "Next week, okay? Right now, they need us."
No, they didn't need you. Your mom was there for Sue Clearwater, and Seth and Leah had each other. You were little short of a stranger.
Still, you didn't dare disobey. Hoping your mother would make good on the promise to let you go out the following week, you went to your room to change out of your pj's.
After spending most of the day helping out with dinner, you waited in your room for the Clearwaters to arrive. It didn't take long; only a few minutes had passed when you heard their car pull up in the driveway. You hurried to the window to look down below into the front yard.
Sue Clearwater looked tired. She had dark circles under her eyes and her usual thin face was even thinner. Beside her was Leah, who was as sullen as ever and looked just as unwilling to be here as you did.
And then Seth got out of the car, and you couldn't help but stare. He'd grown. His frame was still lean but far more muscular, and there was a certain unasserted strength to him that you couldn't help but notice. He didn't look as young anymore, and the change had been almost instantaneous. He smiled when your mom hugged him — a pure, kind, grateful smile that seemed to warm you up from the inside.
As everyone gathered inside the house, you heard your mother call out your name from downstairs.
You took one last look in the mirror. You were wearing your favourite sweater — the softest you owned — and a pair of jeans, and though you'd thought you looked fine that morning, you were beginning to feel very self-conscious, and for no apparent reason. It certainly couldn't be because of Seth.
Could it?
You slowly made your way downstairs, and as you arrived in the foyer, everyone's eyes turned to you. You glanced from Sue — who smiled — to Leah — who glared — to Seth — whose mouth fell open. His breathing quickened, like was gasping for air but could never get enough.
It dawned on you that he was beautiful. With black hair and dark eyes and deep russet skin, he looked almost godly, like something out of a myth.
Sue nudged him and he seemed to snap out of his trance. Luckily enough, your mother and father hadn't noticed the slight change in Seth's behaviour. You wordlessly followed everyone to the dining room, with Seth close behind you.
It scared you how you were suddenly so aware of him. During dinner and even after, every time he moved or shifted — even ever so slightly — you noticed. The way his smiles reached his eyes made your breath hitch painfully in your throat, like a knot you couldn't swallow down.
Why hadn't you noticed how perfect he was sooner? He wasn't too young for you. He was just right.
When the Clearwaters left, you cleaned up in silence. You continued to think about Seth, afraid that if you stopped, his happy smile would start fading away from your memories. You desperately wanted to see him again, though you couldn't explain why. Nothing made sense to you anymore, except that being around him that evening had made you the happiest you'd been in a long time.

muffin man. - seth
FEM aligned DNI or you WILL BE BLOCKED
—
he smiled when seeing the group of boys. “hello, everyone. how’re your days going?” y/n spoke. seth blushed when hearing it, heart pounding. it was soft and sweet. “it’s going good, thank you.” one of the girl’s of the group, emily spoke.
“what would you guys like?” y/n asked. he noticed a few of the boys sniffing the air and smiling. “just made blueberry muffins.” y/n explained. “we want milk cake !” Quil spoke excitedly, Embry nodding quickly.
y/n chuckled, ringing up a few slices of milk cake. “the rest of you?” after everyone had ordered, seth was left. y/n smiled when seeing him. cute. seth nervously stepped up to the counter, glancing repeatedly at the flour streak on y/n’s face.
the rest of the boys snickered when hearing seth’s heart pounding. “um.. i would like some of those blueberry muffins, please.” he stuttered. y/n grinned. “alright.” after ringing it all up, emily paid before they all sat down.
seth watched as y/n got everyone’s order’s, and even watched as y/n cut a piece of the milk bread. “jeez, seth. you in love or something?” leah asked. seth burned a bright red, frowning. “what? no! shut up, leah.” he grumbled.
y/n walked over, handing everyone their things. just as he was about to walk away, he gave seth a smile and a wink. their eyes locked, and seth felt his whole world slow as he watched the man walk away. seth burned brighter, if it was even possible, and couldn’t help the smile showing. everyone perked up at seth’s next thought.
it’s like.. gravity. your whole center shifts. suddenly, it's not the earth holding you here. you would do anything, be anything he needs. A friend, a brother, a protector. a lover.
—
a few days later, and the pack was back at the bakery. everyone quickly ordered, and when seth stepped up he felt a weird feeling overwhelm him. he contained a laugh when he seen the flour streak.
“i would.. i would like some blueberry muffins, please.” seth spoke. y/n smiled, ringing it up. “would you like some hot chocolate with that? on the house.” y/n asked. seth blushed, and nodded.
he went and sat with the others. “no fair! why does seth get a free drink?!” quil whined quietly. “oh stop. the man obviously likes seth.” emily said, giggling when she seen seth flare up.
y/n came out a few minutes later with everyone’s stuff. when handing seth his drink, their hands brushed. y/n suddenly felt as though his whole world slowed, he and seth’s eyes locking.
mate.
y/n cleared his throat. “enjoy.” he spoke, eyes still on seth before walking away. the other’s watched till the man was in the back, before all eyes were on seth.
shit.
“seth’s totally in love with the muffin man!”
“the muffin man?!”

A Second Chance
Seth x reader; shitty Jacob x reader
Angst/ fluff
Warnings: Jacob being an absolutely shitty blockhead.
TW: Depression, emotional abuse
It hurt. Every day of your life. For the past 6 months, you’d been waking up to rejection, disappointment, and resentment. Jacob Black had imprinted on you. When you first learned about what imprinting entailed, you were excited! You’d had lots of bad luck with relationships in the past, so the thought of a guy being your soulmate– absolutely in love with every part of you, no matter what, was thrilling. You’d imagined having what Sam and Emily had. Cute stolen kisses in the kitchen, walks on the beach holding hands, piggy back rides through the forest to romantic picnics… But Jacob had other ideas.
He rejected you from day one, always droning on about Bella Swan. His best friend. The love of his life. The girl who would one day leave her current boyfriend and accept him. ‘The imprint bond is wrong,’ he’d said to you one night. The rest of the pack felt horrible for you, but encouraged you to stick around. “He’ll change his mind,” they’d say almost daily upon seeing your sunken eyes and permanent frown. “He’ll realize what he has one of these days.”
The constant pain of your situation left you depressed. You only got out of bed for school, barely ate enough to function, and forgot what your personality had even been like before all this. Waking up every day and hoping your soulmate would finally accept you, and being met with rejection over and over and over and over, it took a toll on you. Even in instances where you would expect Jacob’s instincts to take over, he let you down. For example, yesterday. You, Emily, and the pack were spending your Saturday morning hiking through the forest, when you tripped over a root and fell, scraping both knees deeply and twisting an ankle, Jacob didn’t so much as flinch. He walked right past you. And when, through tears, you explained that you could barely stand, let alone walk back to Sam’s house, it was Seth that ended up carrying you back.
And yet, after months of this torture, you still wanted him. Wanted him to want you. You still believed the two of you could be happy together if he would just let go of Bella.
“I brought you a slice,” you mumbled, holding a plate out to him. It was another one of the pack’s bonfires, and Jacob had stalked off to brood on a log far from the others. Another attempt to appeal to him, you brought him some food.
“I don’t want it,” he snapped. This was normal. You took a deep breath.
“You haven’t eaten much today. I thought you might-”
“I said,” he stood up as he smacked the plate out of your hands, “I don’t want it. And I don’t want you, so stop trying.” As he stormed off into the forest, you felt a cold break in your soul. Like a rope being cut, or an icicle being knocked off a house. Numb. That’s all that followed. As you collapsed to your knees, you subconsciously heard Emily calling for you. Blinding pain like nothing you’d experienced over took you, and you physically shivered from the cold you felt in your soul. You couldn’t move. Couldn’t speak. Couldn’t breathe.
When you snapped back into reality, you were back at Sam’s house on the couch, covered in a pile of blankets. You shivered nonetheless as Emily, Sam, Paul, Embry and Jared stood around you discussing what to do. And someone else was here. Carlisle Cullen.
“I’ve never seen anything like it. It seems like the imprint bond broke. She’s no longer attached to Jacob’s warmth, which would explain the shivering, but as for a cure, I’m at a loss. I’m sorry,” Carlisle spoke to Sam.
“What should we do?” questioned Emily.
“Keep her as warm as you can. See if you can get her to eat or drink something. Perhaps time will help.”
As the hours passed, you only felt more and more drained. Like you’d lost the will to live. The pack rotated going out and looking for Jacob. No one had seen him since the bonfire, and Sam thought that bringing him back might help cure you. To no avail.
The next day, you were cognizant. Barely. Emily was able to get you to eat a few spoonfuls of soup, and you mustered the strength to thank her.
“I can’t imagine what it feels like, Y/N,” Emily said empathetically.
“Sucks,” you were able to mutter. She rubbed your arm soothingly, looking at you with nothing but sorrow and pity.
“If you look on the bright side, though, at least you’re free of him. I never spoke up before because I always thought imprinting was for life, but he treated you like garbage. I love you and you deserve so much more than that. You deserve someone who at least helps you when you’re hurt.”
Her kind words had fresh tears brimming in your eyes as you put a hand on top of hers.
“Thanks, Em,” was all you were able to say. Sure, this was the most painful thing you’d ever experienced, but at the very least, you were no longer attached to someone who put you through hell every day.
“I’m gonna go get a brush so we can do something with that hair,” Emily changed the tone to a more cheerful one.
A true friend for life, Emily hadn’t left your side since the incident that night. She’d waited on you hand and foot, making sure you were as comfortable as possible under these circumstances. Bathed you as best she could on the couch, made sure you changed clothes at least once a day, spoon fed you, and tried her best to lift your spirits. You owed her your life. Literally. So when she needed a day to go out and get groceries and run some other errands, you were more than understanding.
“Seth is gonna come by and hang out with you in case you need anything,” she said.
“Wait, what?” you spoke tiredly.
“Don’t worry. It’ll only be for a few hours. He offered.”
You nodded your head in resignation, too tired to argue. You knew Seth through the rest of the pack. He was a sweetheart, but you can’t say you two had ever had any heart to heart conversations or anything.
Twenty minutes later and you heard eager footsteps approach the front door. Emily was ready to go, and had just been waiting for Seth to arrive to head out. She stood up and went to greet him at the front door. You waited.
“... and she’s in clean clothes so all you really have to do is sit with her and get her some food or water if she asks for it,” Emily instructed Seth as they walked into the living room where you remained in your corner of the couch. You looked down at your blanket-covered feet, embarrassed that you needed a caretaker. You should be able to eat and drink and dress yourself. The pack couldn’t keep caring for you forever, especially since you weren’t even one of them now that Jacob had cut you off.
“Don’t worry Em, we’re gonna have tons of fun! Right Y/N–” as Seth spoke, you finally looked up and met his eye. He stopped dead in his tracks, staring at you with a strange look, before dropping down to his knees. Upon seeing him, your shivering stopped. Seth had never looked at you like that before. With so much… care.
“Oh, shit,” Emily breathed. “I’m gonna go find Sam.”
She walked quickly out the door, leaving you and Seth alone. He never tore his eyes from you, when he finally said “I always wanted an imprint.”
The confirmation of what was happening sent tears streaming down your face. The connection you now felt to Seth filled your heart back up once again. And not only did you have a new imprint, but Seth just said he’s always wanted one. He wasn’t looking at you with disgust like Jacob had, but with love and adoration and… protectiveness. He finally rose to his feet, slowly walking over to where you sat.
Gesturing to you, he gently asked, “Can I?” All you could do was nod, still never breaking eye contact. He kneeled beside you on the couch, holding his hands out to help you sit forward so that he could squeeze in behind you, a leg on each side. Tentative at first, he hugged you close to his body from behind. The affection felt… unreal. Tingles surged through your body, and for the first time in months, you felt a warmth inside you.
“Is this okay?” Seth whispered cautiously, as if afraid his very words would be enough to break you in this condition. Instead of responding, you burst into sobs. You’d never felt this meaningful before. This safe. This… held. Seth nuzzled his face into the side of your neck, soothing you with “It’s okay,” “I got you,” and “I’m gonna take good care of you, I promise” between soft caresses and light kisses to the side of your face. Emotion overtook you and you squeezed his arms tighter around you as you soaked in the moment.
“Thank you,” you cried. You two stayed like this until you had calmed down. It could have been minutes or hours, you didn’t know or care. Because being in Seth’s arms was surreal.
“Y/N, I just wanna say,” Seth started, “I know what he did to you. And I swear, I will never, ever do that to you. I’m yours now, and I’m gonna do my best, every single day, to treat you like you deserve to be treated. You can count on me.” You had some energy back from the rejuvenation that is Seth, but you were still exhausted, unable to say much in response. You turned your head to look him in the eyes, hoping to convey everything you wanted to say to him. All the gratitude, all the hope, all the love. He was still holding you tightly when Emily came back with Sam, Jared, Embry, Quil, and Paul.
“Well, well, well, look what we have here,” Jared laughed.
“What a power couple,” Quil teased. “Can’t believe we didn’t guess it sooner.”
Sam walked up to the both of you, a small smile playing on his lips. “Take care of each other.”
The moment was so intense. Your feelings were so intense. Being in Seth’s presence had given you some of your energy back. Everyone gathered around to see the new couple when…
Ggrbbrllrglbrlbr
Your stomach growled. Loudly. The room broke into laughter as Seth moved to get up, saying, “Alright, time to get my imprint some food. Whatcha hungry for, beautiful?”
A week later, after Seth had finally nursed you back to your full health, you came out of the shower to him in shoes and a jacket.
“Where are you headed to?” you questioned.
“Not me. We. I thought we could go on a picnic to kind of… get to know each other a little better. Is that lame?” Seth admitted shyly.
“No. It’s perfect.”

pov: you find out about your boyfriend, seth and his friends being able to shift into wolves
"You don't have to do this if you don't want to, you know?" Seth asked for the milionth time.
"I do want to meet your friends, seth, I know how important they are to you" I reassured him with a smile.
We were now walking through the reservation, heading towards emily and sam uley's house, where seth's friends often hung out. We had been talking about this for a while and I figured that I would have met them sometime anyway, since Seth and I had been dating for a few months.
As soon as we reached the house, a few dark haired, shirtless and tan boys ran out, their faces radiating with excitment.
"So you're the lucky girl, huh?" one of them looked me up and down.
"Seth seems to be luckier, Jared. I'm Paul Lahote" another smirked as he held out his hand.
I took it nervously and said: "Y/N Y/L/N"
They each then shook my hand and greeted me.
"Embry Call. Nice to finally meet you, Y/N."
"Seth talks about you all the time, trust me. I'm Quil"
Seth lightly punched his shoulder and the boys laughed.
And so on. After introducing themselves, they sprinted back into the house as someone called for them. Seth and I stayed behind and he softly squeezed my hand, before saying:
"Seems to be going good"
"They all seem like great friends" I smiled at him.
"They are" he smiled back. "But if you ever bring this up, I'll deny it"
We both laughed and he turned to me as we reached the doorway and placed a soft kiss on my lips.
The boys sat at the table made puking sounds and jokingly covered their eyes with their hands.
Seth and I laughed it off, right before a woman scolded them.
I hadn't even noticed her; after she turned around, she came up to us and hugged me, then introduced herself as Emily Young.
"You're Sam's wife, ri-"
"His imprint" Paul cut me off.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as the boys all snapped at him, Jared's elbow hitting Paul's side, perhaps a bit harder than he meant.
In response to Jared, Paul got up, his chair falling to the ground, and pushed Jared a few meters back. They were yelling at each other as the other boys were quick to drag them out of the house, both of their bodies shaking violently.
"Stay here with Emily" Seth whispered, then ran towards them.
She and I got out on the porch, incapable of interfering.
Jacob was holding Paul back by his arm, while Quil and Jared were trying to calm Jared down, the other boys standing in between them.
"Cool off guys, Sam's about to get here" Emily shouted.
It was no use; swiftly, Paul freed himswlf from Jacob's grip and shockingly enough, his body contorsioned into the one of a huge, ash-gray wolf. Jared was quick to jump back at him, only he had transformed as well. Paul sank his teeth somewhere around the other guy's shoulder, who howled in pain before striking back.
When I was finally able to look away from the fight, my eyes searched for my boyfriend, with fear. He was nowhere to be seen; instead, in the place he last stood was now a wolf, who was a bit shorter than the rest, eyes looking into mine.
"Seth" I whispered.
I was frightened; not really of the huge wolves, though, but rather for Seth, praying he wouldn't get hurt.
I was pulled out of my train of thought by the shouting of another man, who was fastly approaching them. His head turned to me for a moment, before his clothes all fell onto the ground, shredded, as the greatest of wolves stood next to the fighting boys. He was visibly taller with black fur, his chest pressing forward as he held his head high; "must be their leader" I thought to myself.
Suddenly, the wolves all backed up, Paul and Jared's bowing in front of Sam. After a few moments in which all looked the great wolf in the eyes, they scattered running into the forest, nowhere to be seen.
Emily grabbed my arm softly and urged me inside.
"Come on, they'll be here soon"
"Are they going to be okay?" I asked quickly, much worried for them all, tears forming in my eyes.
She looked at me and sighed, stroking my hair.
"Yes, they'll be okay, sweetheart. This happens pretty much on a daily basis around here"
I gulped, with shock.
"So this... this huge wolf thing is common around here?"
She laughed and nodded.
"They'll explain everything to you when they get here"
As soon as she said that, the tan boys came back into the house, all laughing and joking around, Paul and Jared included. All except for Seth and Sam, who stayed behind, talking in a very serious demeanor. As they reached the house, Seth stopped into the doorway while Sam came uo to Emily and kissed her tenderly. Then, he turned to me and said:
"Seth wishes to talk to you, kid."
I nervously walked outside, meeting his anxious gaze.
We sat in silence for a few moments before I bursted out loud:
"Oh Seth, are you all alright?"
I checked his arms and chest and back, searching for any sign of harm, yet he was spotless.
"Yeah, I'm fine" he laughed, still tense.
I exhaled, relieved and hugged him tight.
"Are... are you not absolutely terrified by me? Do you not want to never talk to me again?"
I giggled against his warm shoulder.
"No, of course I'm not scared of you. I mean, was I completely taken aback when all you guys turned into huge wolves? Yeah, sure. But scared of you? No, never." I shook my head as I voiced the last words.
"I love you" he said, finally relaxed.
"I love you too"

A/N 2: I’m posting this earlier than planned cause I just finished writing it and I love it so much so I pushed back my other post scheduled for today to put this one out so please enjoy!
The day started off with what seemed like a dreary way, not quite letting on what beautiful things could possibly happen.
You were hang out with the pack on the beach because they decided to have a bonfire night and thought it would be a nice idea to fool around before the sun went down. It seemed to be pretty nice but you couldn’t help but let your eyes wonder, looking for a certain someone.
“Looking for your lover boy”
You turn to see the guys holding in a laugh with Paul chuckling at what he had said.
“Haha very funny.” You rolled your eyes at his antics.
Paul and you had a very unique relationship. You grew up living next to him and became friends at a young age. You saw him as an older brother and he saw you as his little sister. Though he never strayed from treating you as anything but family.
As you continued to joke around with the guys you soon heard footsteps approaching.
“Nice of you guys to finally show up!” You heard Embry say.
You turned to look and saw the boy you had been waiting for. He looked as amazing as always and you couldn’t help but have your heart flutter at the sight of him. What you didn’t notice was the person standing next to him.
“Hey Seth who’s your girlfriend there” Jared snickered.
Your eyes wondered to the girl standing next to him. She was absolutely gorgeous. She looked like one of those models that stepped right out of a magazine.
Looking at Seth, you noticed the slight tint in his cheeks. Suddenly your throat felt a little itchy but you chose to ignore it.
You look to Paul for comfort and notice him giving you a worried glance. Many nights had been spent of you constantly telling him about your feeling for Seth and he could only wonder what you were currently feeling.
‘I’m fine’ you mouthed to him. He only gave you an unsure glance in return. That didn’t stop him from glaring at Seth the whole night.
As the sky began to darken it seemed your mood and health began to as well. Throughout the night the itch in your throat began to get worse and the coughing soon came.
Paul seemed to notice and his worried glances became frequent but you reassured him you were fine every time. Suddenly the worst itch began to take over your throat. You lowly coughed trying not to alert anyone till a delicate petal came out of your mouth.
‘What in the world?’ You thought to yourself.
You had never seen anything like this happen and were beyond confused. You assumed that maybe a flower petal just happened to fall in your hand at the exact same time as your cough came out. That couldn’t have come from you right?
As the night progressed you soon came to the realization that they were from you. Your coughs soon came with the sight of soft petals. You resorted to trying to hold it in but much to your dismay it didn’t work.
More petals soon began to surface with you scrambling to hide it from everyone. The scratching in your throat seems to be getting worse and you felt like your breathing was being restricted. And then the one thing you never expected happened.
A fully bloomed flower made its way out of your mouth. You realized then that the beautiful petals you had been coughing up were from Seth’s favorite flower. The beauty that you once saw in the flowers were now covered in your saliva and dots of red.
Panicking you quickly excused yourself to use the bathroom. Someone offered to walk you there but you didn’t want to worry anyone and decided to go by yourself. You rushed passed everyone missing the worried glances from Paul and a certain someone.
As you made your way to the house more flowers found their way out of your mouth leaving a slight trail. Quickly making your way to the bathroom you rushed straight to the toilet as a wave of nausea struck you.
Being over the bowl, you let the contents of your stomach out. You grabbed a paper towel from the counter wiping your mouth before your eyes traveled to the toilet.
The sight before you was nothing like you had seen before. Multiple fully bloomed flowers that you once thought were beautiful were now floating around splattered with red.
You soon grew weary with your lungs constricting you could barely breath. Lightheadedness washed over you in waves as the coughing continued with petals and flowers everywhere.
‘What is happening to me? Am I going to die like this?’ You thought as you fought to keep your consciousness. Sliding down to the floor you held your head in your hands, scared of what was happening.
Black started spotting your vision and you were sure you were going to pass out. Before you completely lost consciousness you heard banging on the door.
“Y/N? Are you ok?”
Paul had come to check on you after you had left suddenly.
“I don’t feel so good” you said as your chest got tighter.
“I’m coming in hold on”
That was the last thing you heard before you passed out.
—————
A bright light suddenly woke you up from your unconscious state. The pressure on you chest felt like it had doubled and the coughing quickly came back to you. Many blossomed flowers soon followed.
“Ugh where am I?” You questioned.
“I’m glad to see you’re awake”
You open your eyes to see Carlisle waking into the room. You knew of what him and his family are because of the legends you had heard growing up.
Never thinking much of it, you always thought it was just that, a legend. Till one day you followed Paul into the woods after growing tired of him ignoring you for weeks on end. That day you had learned the truth behind their legends and “the cold ones”.
“What is going on with me and why am I suddenly coughing out flowers like I’m some freaking garden?”
At that you broke out into a fit of bloomed flowers and petals. He gently sighed and handed you a tissue to wipe off the blood staining your lips.
“Y/N I’m sorry to tell you this but you have what we call Hanahaki Disease.” He spoke softly.
Your brows furrowed before asking, “What’s that?”
“Hanahaki Disease results when a person suffers from an unrequited love. It causes the person to cough out flowers starting slowly with petals then escalating to fully bloomed flowers. If the love is not returned then then the disease spreads to the lungs where more flowers bloom eventually killing the person. The disease varies and it could happen slowly over the period of months or it could happen fast only acting in days or even mere hours.”
Your brain feels like it is spiraling and you blank trying to process all this new information all at once.
“I’m truly sorry this had to happen to you.” He said with a genuine sad tone.
Tears slowly make their way to your eyes.
“Isn’t there anything you can do?”
“Unfortunately you have only two options. The best chance you have is to get surgery but that option isn’t always the best. If you chose to get the surgery it will get rid of the flowers and you save your life,” he pauses for a second before looking more serious, “but any and all memories of the person you loved will be gone and you can never feel anything again.”
“The second option is that you continue to live with the memory of the person you love but the flowers with slowly consume you and you will eventually die.”
Your heart constricted at the thought of ever forgetting Seth and everything he made you feel. With that you would not only lose every memory and thought of Seth but you would also lose the love you have for your friends and family. You didn’t want to die but you also don’t want to continue living as an empty shell of a person.
Weighing your options carefully, you reluctantly come to a decision.
“I think I’ve made up my mind. I don’t want to die, but I don’t want to live without feeling a thing. I can’t imagine the pain that would put everyone through knowing I cannot love them back. And the thought of losing the memories of one of the most important people in my life is probably worse than me losing my life. I wouldn’t give up my love for anyone important to me and if that hurts a few people then so be it. It’s better for me to die loving than continue to live as a skeleton of a person.” You finished with tears streaming down your face.
He hummed but obliged with your decision. “I will inform your family of your decision and again I am truly sorry this happened.”
You thanked him before he walked out of the room leaving you in your thoughts. Starting up at the ceiling for what seemed like hours you thought over everything in your life and concluded you wouldn’t change a thing.
You heard quick footsteps making their way towards your room and turned to see who it was. A worried but angry looking Paul was standing in the doorway breathing heavily. He made his way to the side of your bed before he spoke.
“The leach told me what happened,” he said with a slight edge, “ I can’t believe you’re throwing your life away for some stupid brat.”
“Paul,” you said warningly, “please respect my decision. The thought of living and not being able to love anyone back is really why I’ve decided on this.”
“That is better than you not being here at all! If it wasn’t for that idiot you wouldn’t even be in this mess. I knew I should’ve killed him when I had the chance.” He said with venom lacing his voice.
“What did you do?” You knew what Paul was capable of doing when he was mad so you were scared that he might have hurt himself or someone else.
“When I found you like that, I just saw red and I don’t know. I couldn’t control myself. Seth had come after me to see what was wrong but he saw me shaking and I just snapped. The little shit ran outside before I shifted in the house so I chased after him and we fought but Sam heard and stopped us before anyone got hurt.”
Relieved that no one was hurt, you sighed thanking everything that Sam intervened. But the thought that Seth came to check on you came flooding back to your mind.
“He better hope I don’t see him cause I swear I will kill him this time.” He spat.
“Paul please calm down, we don’t need an incident here too.”
He sighed knowing you were right and tried to slow his breathing down to calm himself. He spent the remaining time trying to make the last hours he had with you worth it cause at least you would know you were loved.
Then he abruptly stood, his breathing started to quicken. You questioned him about his sudden behavior before you heard someone clear their throat.
You turned and were met with the sight of a bashful Seth. He had his eyes turned down nervously scratching the back of his neck.
“I heard what happened and I wanted to come see you” he said shakily.
Paul quickly sneered at him, “You have a lot of nerve coming here.”
“Paul knock it off and come with me. Give them some privacy.” Sam’s booming voice came from behind Seth.
He scoffed saying he’d be back later before begrudgingly heading for the door, not before checking Seth hard on the shoulder while making his way out.
Seth stayed by the door not really knowing what to do or say till he heard you speak up.
“You can come and sit” you said in a whisper knowing he’ll hear you.
Slowly he made his way to the chair by the side of the bed and took a seat. You both sat in silence for a while, neither of you knowing what to say to the other. That is until you coughed out one of the flowers you were starting to despise the sight of.
“Funny huh?” You said hoarsely chuckling your eyes glistening, “I love you so much I’m coughing out a bouquet for you.”
“Y/N I’m so sorry.” He said, sadness lacing with every word.
“Seth this is not your fault. I don’t want you to blame yourself and I’m sorry you have to carry the weight of this on your shoulders. I don’t want you to have to hold this against yourself. I’m the one who stupidly fell in love with someone who could never love me back.”
“No, you’re wrong! You should never blame yourself because your feelings are as valid as everyone else’s. I can’t keep lying to myself or you about my feelings anymore. Things would have been a lot easier if we had just been honest with each other from the beginning. I think I’m in love with you and that scares me because I know that I can’t control the imprint. But it scares me even more to know you’re so willing to die for love. I don’t know what I would do if you weren’t here with me anymore. I don’t think I’d be able to live with myself.” Tears were streaming down both of your faces at this point.
“I know that this might be selfish of me but I don’t care anymore. Please, look me in the eyes and tell me you love me.” He said desperately.
At this point you couldn’t believe what you were hearing. To scared of what might happen when you do take that leap, you shook you head not wanting this to suddenly end real. He took your hand in his and held them to his lips.
“Please y/n” he whispered, his lips brushing against the back of your hands. You felt the warm wet tears splash onto you and that brought you back to what was happening.
You let out a shaking breath before lifting your head. Dragging your eyes up agonizingly slow till they finally made contact with his beautiful brown orbs that were glossy with his previous tears.
You felt like the wind had been knocked out of you and a new gust of air suddenly brought your breath back into you. The tightness that you once felt was now gone and was replaced with a warmth that spread throughout your whole body.
Meanwhile Seth felt his whole world had changed. It seemed like you two were the only people left in this world. You held him to the ground like gravity and he would do anything in this world to make you the happiest person alive. He had imprinted on you.
“I love you” you said, the weight of the words meaning a whole lot more now. You both beamed, relieved that you finally had each other after so much grief. You didn’t know what the future held but one thing was for sure, you would both be going into it together.
The once falling flowers that were a sign of the dark now seem like the bright blooming future that was ahead of you. Your love will continue on for many generations to come and would persist the tell of time never to wilt again.
A/N: I loved this so much it made me emotional writing it! I really hope everyone enjoyed it! And anyone looking to request please do because my requests are open! Also please take the time to look at the link here⇒ ( ◠‿◠ )
