Bolek i Lolek

I watched The Cuphead Show Season 3 and later found out that in Polish, the title is translated to Filuś i Kubuś and that made me think of Bolek and Lolek which lead to me to making this.

Bolek and Lolek was an old cartoon from the 60s and was about two mischievous brothers that went on different crazy adventures. The two brothers even later had a female character named Tola join on their adventures almost similar to how Cuphead and Mugman have Miss Chalice. Though the show was nothing groundbreaking, I think it was enjoyable for what it was with it's own simple charm to it. It was popular enough to span over two decades and the final episode premiered in 1986. Yet, there'd still be reruns years later in the early 2000s and I say this as a kid that actually grew up watching this show in the summer whenever I would visit my grandparents in Poland.

To whomever it might concern, know that I have not had any contact with Spongebob Squarepants until I was like 12 and on a summer camp, where another dude showed me his Spongebob key decoration. And then he lied to me that the figure was actually a mummy. And I believed him, because how else could have I known??

I grew up on four TV channels and the absolute peak that is Pat a Mat, Racochejl, Asterix and Bolek i Lolek.

The first american cartoon I was exposed to was when I was in second grade and some kid figured out how to watch fucking HAPPY TREE FRIENDS on the school computer.

It's always "omg how have you not grown up with [insert incredibly popular AMERICAN media]" maybe because I didn't fucking understand english at that time like I might not have known what Sesame Street was but have you ever seen Kouzelá školka? Huh? Cvrček55 ring any bells? No? Exactly. Piss off
