If you want to be (physically, though this will help mentally as well) healthy, eat enough, get your nutrients, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, vitamins etc., get at least thirty minutes (preferably an hour) of physical activity each day, and at least eight hours of sleep. That's all you need to do to be in peak health, no matter your weight, or gender, or race, or whatever. Everything else is a scam, full stop.

Just found out that the dietary calorie is still measured by burning food in a "bomb calorimeter" and then measuring the heat produced. There's no solid evidence that this method is at all equivalent to how our bodies process food (an entirely different chemical process from combustion), the accuracy of this system has been disputed for as long as it's existed, and there are no available alternatives

There are 4800 calories in a kilogram of dry sawdust even though wood is completely indigestible to humans, because calories don't measure nutritional value, just how well something burns

So you know how we’re all reading the EDAs on that crappy pdf torrent / archive that’s been going around for over a decade (that’s when I first got mine)?

I, simply, cannot read poorly formatted books. I absolutely cannot.

So I’ve been creating new ePubs of the books for use in eReaders. I’m having a blast doing it.

If anyone wants them, or really any of the out of print DW books from that torrent, let me know, and I’ll put that book at the front of my queue. I’d love to help the fandom out with my ADHD super power to enjoy tedious monotony, as long as it relates to my hyperfocus.
