This was Bear's first time watching an episode of 'The Practice' --- it seems like we've discovered another point of difference: She is more 'Ally McBeal' while I lean more towards 'The Practice'

One of the things I do enjoy when watching things with Bear that I've already seen (even more than twice) is that additional layer her presence brings.

Would I have noticed that it's a reversal? That in this scenario it's the son being asked to understand the parent. Because essentially the Younger Generation would be the one more likely to embrace who they are and be less weighed by tradition.

When I learned that ‘Rectify’ received a Peabody, my heart swelled. Was it because such a little known show (in terms of ratings) got one of the highest accolades? (I do consider it even higher than an Emmy).

So when I found out years later that another show that had me smitten during the 90′s has been recognised with the same prestige, it’s a good reminder of that progressive part of me.

Now I wonder if another show that is deeply close to what’s been happening (online and off) would also get a Peabody. I hope so. But if not...geez...you’re a winner in my eyes!
