I think the funniest thing about watching musical bootlegs is that you can often tell who the recorder’s favourite character is, because they won’t. stop. zooming. in. on. them. no matter WHAT else is currently happening.

is this a safe space to say that i think the vibe around bootlegging and taking audios in this fandom is kind of concerning

i think the obsession a lot of people have with seeing every possible debut, understudy, etc is a bit unhealthy!

we won’t be there for every show and we won’t experience everything, and that’s okay!

i honestly just think the obsession with filming actors (who are people) without their consent and acting entitled to seeing everyone’s performance is just a bit disrespectful to the actors? most broadway actors are uncomfortable with being filmed and just i don’t know it feels a bit disconcerting
