the first month of 2024 has gone by..let's see how hunger games stars have been doing.

Jennifer Lawrence: mothered at the golden globes, with her "if i don't win, i'm leaving" when announced, and her support for emma stone after she won <3333. Josh revealed she texted him after FNAF, showing support for him. Their movies were #1 on Netflix and #1 on Peacock at the time. biography: tw; addictionBeing the youngest of five, especially in the different age range, Lucas thought that he was going to be the outcast of his family and he was going to struggle to bond with any of his brothers. He already felt that he was different from his brothers, but he was always seen with one of his oldest brothers, Aindreis. Lucas was born and raised in North Berwick, Scotland. He loved it there and he could see himself staying there and building a life for himself. It was no surprise to any of his family members when Lucas came out as gay but of course they were all there to support him. He knew this from early on. Another thing that Lucas learned from early on was that he had ADHD. That was something that him and his brother, Aindreis had shred with one another. They were very similar in a lot of ways that their other brothers couldn’t relate to them on. Not that it was a bad thing, but it gave the two of them something to bond about and they felt like they understood each other a little bit more. It was so weird to Lucas that he once was afraid that none of his brothers and him would bond because of age differences, but now he was most bonded with his oldest. While he got along with all of his brothers, he wasn’t talking to them the way that he talked to Aindreis. He tried his best not to upset any of his other family members. Lucas knew deep in his bones because of how close he was to Aindreis and saw how much he was hurting from his addiction that he wanted to be able to help people like Aindreis and their families. He never chose to go to school for psychology to try and change his brother because that’s something he would never do but instead he wanted to learn more about his brothers illness and help people who were in his situation who didn’t know how to cope with seeing a loved one like that. In college, Lucas was pretty popular and he had a good time, partying a bit here and there in his fraternity but he was so afraid of sharing another thing with Andreis and that was the addiction so he always made sure to take it east and try not to get too out of control. While in college, Lucas also got involved in a book club and he forgot the art of reading for fun when you didn’t have to do it for school. He became a huge book nerd and was always seen with a book in his hand. Another “weird” obsession that Lucas came across was plants. He loved the fascination of keeping the plants alive and admiring their beauty as they bloomed each and every time. He had quite an assortment of plants in his room and he was known as being the book and plant nerd but all of his fraternity brothers cared for him. As graduation was nearing, Lucas had ended up sleeping with one of his fraternity brothers. It was not something that he was planning on but they were hanging out and one thing let to another and that’s when Lucas realized that he was in love with him. Once he heard that he was leaving and going somewhere else, Lucas was disappointed but he knew that he needed to think about his own future.  He decided that what he wanted was to be near his brother so he applied to colleges in Kismet Harbor and once he was accepted into their mental health counseling program, he accepted and he hadn’t told his brother because he wanted to just show up.

Aindreis Kenneth Oliver Blythe sees light for the very first time on December 10th 1989 in Summerside’s General Hospital, the second biggest on Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island. He’s the second of what would become 5 brothers. Daniél, Aindreis, Tomàs, Ethan and Jonathan. Only three of them would be born on PEI. Indeed, as Tomàs, 7 years younger than Aindreis, was approaching his first birthday, their father, Neil, got the opportunity to go back to North Berwick and take over his retiring father’s fishing company. So they did, they left Canada behind for Bonny Scotland. Aindreis was almost 8 when he put down his little suitcase in his brand new room, in an almost new country where the accent was funny to his young ear. He had never been a tall child, and he was lean, and having skipped a grade, he always found himself among bigger kids. It wasn’t easy, and now he was going to be the new kid. He wasn’t looking forward to that.

Turns out that he didn’t have to. Turns out that North Berwick wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be. His cousins were around, and he met a best friend, Ali, the only kid who decided he was interesting enough to sit next to at the camp fire. North Berwick slowly turned into a home, and Andy couldn’t ask for more. His family was complicated and getting crowded, but he wouldn’t change them for anything in the world. Scotland was more welcoming than he thought, and it sometime reminded him of PEI. Came even a surprising moment when his lips unexpectedly met Ali’s. He’d never thought too much about dating before that, but the unasked question had found an answer. An answer that stayed secret, hidden, to Aindreis’s sadness, but it didn’t matter. He was able to hold his hand at lunch behind the bleachers and maybe that could be enough.

But Richard Siken was right when he wrote “Someone has to leave first. This is a very old story. There is no other version of this story.” Ali left first. Andy didn’t understand. Well, he was never given a head’s up or an answer afterwards. His best friend, his boyfriend, just didn’t dare even meet his eyes in school hallways, and Andy was lost. The rest of high school went by with dimmed colours, but the graduated from his A-levels first of his class. Now, he could leave North Berwick and all the memories, good and bad.

Stars. Andy’s passions had always been the stars, the universe, space, you name it. So he was trying to get closer to them. Astronaut was never his calling. Nasa, maybe one day. Right now, he was heading to Cambridge University on a fellowship for a degree in physics, with a minor in astronomy. It was his dream… And he threw it away. Looking back, it was a combination of so many things. Freshers week and student parties, a bit of lying to oneself that what we’re doing is definitely not a problem, Cambridge University’s tendency to ask troubled students to isolate as to not disturb the studies of others, a “predisposition for substance abuse” as the doctor said after diagnosing him with ADHD during the three long months he spent in rehab after being kicked out of university for being drunk in class.

Sobriety didn’t last long once he left. And he did leave. Roaming around Europe then Canada, spending less than a year in each place, taking on every small job he could. He stopped fleeing at the sight of every serious thing, every problem, everyone in Toronto. Toronto where he stayed longer than anywhere else. 2 years. One of which he spent with his new boyfriend. Relationship he threw away as he threw away 10 month of sobriety, imposed by a dilemma. Me or the alcohol. The alcohol, Caleb, you lose. Andy did lose too. Back to square one, he thought as he stepped back into a rehabilitation centre.

You may wonder where he went next. He went back to the green field and colourful boats of North Berwick. It felt like a failure at the time. That's where he found Ali. Or rather Ali found him and made his way back into his life. North Berwick was also where Aindreis got the opportunity of a lifetime: working for the observation centre in town. Finally getting to work with the stars, his dream. Which led to a move with his own partner to Kismet Harbor, where he had been offered to supervise the new observation centre, the Stellar Horizon Observatory. He couldn't say no.

Once again, Richard Silken proves himself right. Someone has to leave first. Ali left first. Again. After months of hardships of different flavours, there had been a last straw that Aindreis had missed and he found himself alone, bottle in hand, having to face the world.

Happy Birthday, Blythe.

Blythe’s birthday throughout the years.

5 years old.

Confetti was scattered amongst the ground, colorful streamers hung from wooden poles carrying the street lights, presents stacked on top of each other on a table, delicious food both homemade and ordered on another, and multiple children ran around the field of grass with toy swords. A banner with the words 'Happy Birthday' was also hung up. 

The children were all play-fighting with their swords, laughing and yelling with each other as they ran around. Some of the older children had gotten the cardboard dragon costume they made to play with them, pretending as if the young ones were knights and they were the evil dragons.

Amongst one of the younger children was Blythe Solace, who just so happened to be the young boy celebrating his birthday today. Everyone decided to make him the princess that needed to be saved since it was his birthday. The young boy laughed as he was chased by his sister, Alaia, who was dressed as a dragon as well.

“Save meeee!!! One of the dragons is chasing me arouuuund!!!!”

“Onwards, save the princess from the dragons!”

“You’ll never stop me! I’m gonna gobble up the princess!!”

Blythe squealed as the head of Alaia’s dragon costume nudged against him, making him trip onto the grass and laugh even more as he was tickled by her. The rest of the kids all charged at her and helped Blythe esacpe again. This repeated itself a few times until Blythe and Alaia’s parents called everyone over.

After everyone was gathered around the table, they all started singing happy birthday to Blythe, who was standing on a chair so he could reach the top of the cake to blow his candles.

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy biiirthdaaay dear Blythe~! Happy birthday to you!!”

“Make a wish, Blythe! Make sure not to tell.”

“Tell us, tell us!”

“Nuh uh, it’s my wish, and I’m gonna keep it!”

“Awwww, please???”

“Let Blythe blow out his candles, dear.”

That made him laugh, and after a deep breath, Blythe finally blew out his candles. His wish? That everything would stay the way it was, that he could celebrate his birthday like this every year.

10 years old.

“HALT!! GIVE BACK WHAT YOU STOLE THIS INSTANT, YOUNG MAN!!”

Another bullet dodged, another hand to escape from, another escape route taken, and another wall climbed. It took more than usual to shake off the guards chasing them, but this planet was remote, so they were eventually able to distract all of them long enough to vanish without a trace.

Quickly running back to the abandoned shed that they were staying in, they stepped inside and blocked off the door with some of the wooden planks inside. Finally, alone at last…

Usually, Blythe would’ve been able to shake off the guards faster. But the food they stole this time was rather fragile, and needed to be handled with care. When they opened their bag and saw the cake still intact, they sighed in relief. It even came with candles too!

They lit the small fireplace and used the fire to light the candles and placed them on the cake, then they brought out all the other stuff they smuggled. It consisted of assorted berries and fruits, some chocolate they managed to nab, and some peanuts and hazelnuts. Oh! And they also got some orange juice and water. 

If they remember correctly, they turned 10 today, so it seemed right to celebrate more than usual!

Now that everything was all set, they started to sing happy birthday. 

“Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear Blythe…~... 

Happy birthday to… You..”

Blythe made their wish and blew out the candles. Their wish? That sometime soon, they could have someone to celebrate with.

16 years old

It’s their first birthday off the streets… And they couldn’t feel more grateful. When they woke up, Maeve was kind enough to prepare breakfast in bed and gave them a large teddy bear that they had eye’d in the store a few days ago. 

Blythe was ecstatic! They went down the stairs to find the place decorated with streamers, balloons, confetti, and all of the things they had heard about from Maeve. It was so colorful it made their eyes hurt, but they didn’t care! It was amazing!

“Thank you so much, Mae! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“Hahaha, it’s no problem, doll! I’m just making sure to give my Blythey Wythey the best birthday ever! You deserve that much dear~ Now come, come! Blow out the candles!”

“Huh? But shouldn’t we wait for the others?”

“It’s our little secret, doll! Consider it a private celebration.”

They liked the sound of that and nodded, laughing as they followed her into the kitchen and saw the cake. It looked beautiful, just like her…

Blythe made sure to shake that thought out of their head, they can think of how pretty Maeve is after blowing out their candles! Speaking of candles, Maeve had gotten a lighter and lit the candles before starting to sing happy birthday. 

When she was done singing, Blythe looked at her before blowing their candles out. Their wish? To always celebrate this happily.

17 years old

It was just another day. They needed to get the groceries in time or else Maeve would get mad. 

19 years old

It was a Sunday, and Sampo had said they’d be staying on this particular planet a bit longer, so they had used the opportunity to sleep in a bit more.

Want to take a guess who decided to wake them up before the sun has even risen? If you guessed Sampo fucking Koski, you’re correct. He practically dragged Blythe out of their bed and made them wash their face so they’d wake up a bit more.

“Ughhh… Why’d you wake me up..? You said we aren’t leaving the planet yet, so there’s no need to wake up so early, big brother…”

“I promise it's still important, my dearest sibling! Don’t you trust your big brother?”

“Not when you woke me up so early on a Sunday…”

“So grumpy! That thing hasn’t changed about you, ya know?”

They just waved their hand dismissively with a grumble, making Sampo laugh again as he led them through the hallway of the apartment he had rented out for the duration of their stay. All of a sudden, he stopped walking.

“Are we there yet?”

“Nearly! But first, I need you to put on this blindfold!”

Sampo held up said blindfold in his hand, immediately making Blythe wary as they took a step back and looked up at him suspiciously. Even if the two of them had gotten significantly close ever since they first met, there were still some things that Sampo doesn’t know about what happened to Blythe before the Fools.

He reached a hand out, looking at them for permission and placing it on their shoulder when they nodded. “I won’t do anything bad, trust me. I just got a small surprise for you is all!”

“You promise me there’s nothing bad?” Then he made a small gesture of making a cross over his heart and smiled.

“Cross my heart and hope to die, and I swear on my mask!”

“Wow, that’s a tall order.”

“All the more reason to trust good ol’ big brother!”

It made Blythe laugh a bit, Sampo following shortly after. When they stopped laughing, they let out a sigh and nodded. “Alright, I’ll put on the blindfold. Just don’t make me run into a wall or something.” “I’d never!” Another laugh let out as Sampo stood behind them and tied the cloth around their eyes.

“Can you see my hand?”

“Nope.”

“Perfect! Now follow me, walk slowly alright?”

Honestly, Blythe was scared. Not because of Sampo, but more like they really didn’t want to bump into something and get a bruise. Or worse, trip and fall and break something. But since Sampo was guiding them, the journey to wherever they were going was short and safe.

“Stand here and don’t take off the blindfold till I say so, okay?”

Blythe nodded and stayed where they stood. They could hear Sampo walking around a bit, and some stuff being placed down on something. After a few minutes, he spoke up again.

“Alright, take it off!”

And so they took off the blindfold, blinking a few times before dropping the cloth in shock as they processed what was in front of them.

Of course, Sampo was there. But what surprised them was what was around him. A few rainbow balloons were tied to the chairs, a small shiny gold streamer curtain hung from the ceiling to serve as the background. The round table was covered with a cloth and colorful confetti. The lights were dimmed down so it wasn’t too bright, but not completely dark either.

What really caught Blythe’s attention was the chocolate cake decorated with frosting and sprinkles. A few things were frosted on like their mask, some stars and planets, a sun, and a few flames. There were two small sparklers, and ‘Happy Birthday Blythe!’ was also frosted onto the middle of the cake.

They stepped closer and stared at the cake, then looked at all the decorations(even if there weren’t that many), then at Sampo. Who was carefully watching their reaction with a smile on his face.

“August 12. Your birthday, mentioned it once. You also mentioned how you didn’t get to celebrate it properly due to reasons, right?”

Blythe nodded, still a bit too shocked to speak. Sampo laughed and reached out to ruffle their hair, making them squeak. But this didn’t stop them from tackling him into a tight hug, which he reciprocated quickly.

“... Thank you...”

“Hey, don’t thank me yet, you haven’t gotten to blow out the candles!”

As Sampo said that, he got out a lighter and lit the candles. He sat Blythe down and stood beside them, clearing his throat before starting to sing them happy birthday.

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Blythe~”

Blythe laughed when Sampo poked their nose and messed with their hair again.

“Happy birthday to you~”

With that, Blythe made their wish and blew out the candles. Almost immediately, they stood up and hugged Sampo again. He hugged them back and rubbed their back. “Now you can say thank you.”

“Pfft–... Thank you, big brother… It… It means a lot…”

“I know, that’s why I did it! You’re welcome, Blythe. Wanna tell me your wish?”

“Hmmm… Nah, I think I’ll keep it to myself.”

“Alright, alright~... Happy birthday, Blythe.”

“Thank you, big brother.”

What was their wish, you ask? Simple. Blythe wished they could celebrate their birthday with the best big brother in the world as much as they can!

It's Blythe's birthday! Also known as the day I decided to make this blog. Even if it started as an anon blog, I'm very glad it turned into a full blown OC. I don't regret making Blythe at all.

Blythe knew what day it was today, and they were prepared to celebrate it to the fullest!

When they woke up a bit later than usual(a little extra birthday treat for themself), they felt absolutely elated! To help manage the sudden burst of energy and excitement, they decided to go do their morning workout first, so they went to the small gym room in their house and went on the treadmill first. 

After doing a few more exercises, they felt hungry and decided to make some pancakes, bacon, eggs, and a cup of lemon iced tea for breakfast. It was their birthday, they get to splurge a bit for themself!

Then they showered and put on their usual clothing, humming one of Robin’s songs as they grabbed their mask and secured it on their hip before stepping outside the door. Time to go to all their favorite people!!

The first place Blythe decided to go to was Serval’s workshop, since it was closest to where they were. So they skipped through the streets of the Administrative District and knocked on the door. 

“Guess who!!” Then they heard a familiar laugh and some footsteps. “Come on in, Blythey!” With permission now granted, they entered the workshop and waved at Serval, who was carrying a box filled with what was most likely machine parts. 

“Hey, hey, do you know what day it is today~?”

Serval was met with a big hug after she put down the box, laughing along with Blythe and nodding. “Yep, August 12 and a beautiful Thursday morning! What else? A special occasion today or something?”

Teasing them? Already? So early in the morning? On their birthday? Low blow, Serval!

“Oh don’t tease me on this dearly special day, big sis! You know what’s happening today!” They let out a laugh yet again and pulled away from the hug, grinning at Serval who just looked at them confusedly as she laughed as well. But it seemed to be more from confusion than amusement. “I really don’t know what’s going on today, Blythe.”

… Huh?

“You really don’t?”

“Mhm.”

“Really, swear on your guitar, don’t know?”

“I swear on my band, Blythe! Is there something happening today?”

…

“Nah, think I got my dates mixed up. I’ll see you around? I have some work to do!”

“Sure thing, see you around Blythey! Don’t take after Geppie and take breaks!”

Blythe laughed again and waved as they walked out the workshop, with Serval waving back. When they closed the door, they sighed and just stood there. What the heck was that?! Serval can’t just forget it was their birthday, she celebrated with them the past couple years! Another curio incident perhaps?

Ah whatever, they can dwell on it later. Chances are she’s got work and music stuck in her head that there’s no room for anything else at the moment. That’s a joke, but sometimes it really does seem like it. Oh well, time to head to the Underworld!

“... It’s Thursday, August 12. Don’t you have a calendar in your house, Blythe?”

When Blythe asked Natasha what day it was, she didn’t know either! When they asked again, she just looked at them with a slightly amused expression. “This another one of your pranks? Well, save them for later. You only have to deliver things today, alright? Still, since trouble seems to find you, make sure to be careful. The cargo is at the usual shed and the people or place to deliver it to is already on it.”

Blythe didn’t question it and nodded, giving her a small salute before walking out the clinic. They had to blink a few times before they shook it off once more and went to the shed and got one of the boxes. First stop: Svarog’s base!

“Uhm, my phone says it’s August 12… Why do you ask, Mx. Blythe?”

Yet again, someone that they had celebrated with in the past had forgotten their birthday. Blythe just sighed and waved it off as nothing and gave her the small box. The child has probably been working herself to the bone helping around the camp. So they smiled and gently ruffled her hair.

“Good job. I’ll be off now, stay safe okay?”

“No, like, the month and day.”

“Uh, August 12 or 13, right? Why, something special happening?”

… Seriously?! Is this some kind of divine intervention from Aha or something?!

“... Never mind, I think I got my calendar mixed up somehow.” Seele scoffed and shot them a pointed look. “I wouldn’t be surprised.” “I’m gonna burn this box to ashes.” “Have fun explaining that to Natasha.” “Fair point, take the damn box.” “Yeah, yeah, doing it.”

Seele rolled her eyes and took the box as told. She gave Blythe her usual thank you and both shared the usual fist bump before she walked away like it was a regular day. But it wasn’t. Not to Blythe at least…

Blythe dropped off the box at Pela’s office as told, since she was out doing some official work right now. Maybe they should text her so she knows…

To be honest, this was really weirding Blythe out…

… And they were starting to feel a bit sad.

“August 12. Oh, and thank you for delivering the box to me, Blythe.”

“No problem, Ms. Bronya…”

Blythe handed her the box and kept the urge to sigh at bay, humming softly. “Nothing on your schedule today?” “Just the usual workload. Is there something you need help with?” “... No. Just curious. I’ll be off now.”

And with that, Blythe teleported away to their next destination. Bronya visibly sagged with relief and sighed, massaging the bridge of her nose with her fingers.

“Koski and the others hopefully finish the party preparations soon… I don’t know how long I’ll be able to keep this up…”

“August 12.”

“...”

Blythe once again held back a sigh and handed Gepard his box, him nodding and giving them a smile. “Thank you, Blythe. And thank you for agreeing to pick up Lynx.” 

“Nooooo problem at all! We’re basically family after all, haha..!”

Of course and as always, the ever so observant Silvermane Captain noticed something off with Blythe. So he, of course, asked them about it. And it was, of course, led with them brushing it off.

“Nothing~! Anyways, I’ll pick up Lynx now. See ya around Geppie!”

When The Fool teleported away, Gepard let out a sigh and ran a gloved hand down his face. 

“Hopefully preparations can be done quickly… This prank is clearly starting to sink in now.”

“Thursday, right? Or was it Friday?”

“Yeah, no, I think it’s Thursday. Thanks Lynxie, and here’s your delivery.”

Lynx nodded and took the box when she put away the last of her camping gear. The two looked at each other and nodded in mutual understanding which was: ‘We must go camping together again soon.’ Before Blythe teleported away. They shouldn’t be surprised she didn’t remember either…

“Thursday! I know because it’s been two days since my match on Tuesday!”

“Hahaha, thanks Luka! Helpful as always~ As a late reward, here’s your delivery!”

“Nice! Thanks, Blythe! Next time you come over, you should hop into the ring again. It’s been a while since you’ve been in the ring with me man!”

A yelp was heard when Luka suddenly wrapped his arm around Blythe’s shoulders and ruffled their hair with his other hand. Both the redheads laughed as Blythe squirmed and managed to eventually get out of his grasp. “Yeah, yeah, I promise! You can just say you missed me, ya know~!” 

“Alright then, I missed you!”

…

“... Missed you too.”

Luka laughed again when they saw the slight blush on Blythe’s face appear. He ruffled their hair again and patted them on the back. They looked cute like this… Wait a minute, don’t think about that right now! He needs to try and cheer them up!

“By the way, are you still doing something after this?”

“Just a few more boxes to deliver, but it’s not even 12 PM yet so I can loiter a bit.”

“You thinking what I’m thinking?”

“Let’s spar?”

“How’d you guess?!”

Both of them let out a laugh and Blythe nodded, throwing an arm around Luka. “Well, I got nothing better to do. Lead the way, Strongarm! I’ll be sure to beat you this round.” Luka smirked and playfully pinched their cheek with his hand(He made sure to be gentle though, it was his metal arm). “Bring it on!”

It was a tie in the end. The timer Blythe had set on their phone rang its alarm and signaled the end of their little spar. Luka was obviously a bit bummed about it, just a few more minutes and they could find out who would win! “Come on, Luka, it’s not like I’m gonna be delivering stuff all day! Besides, we have tomorrow and the days after that.”

Blythe pocketed their phone and checked the box for who they would deliver it to this time, humming softly as they did. 

“Speaking of which, I think I gotta go now. See you–”

They were interrupted when Luka pulled them into a hug, which they reciprocated after a small moment. When he pulled away, he ruffled their hair again and had a small smile on his face. “You gotta promise! Like I said earlier, we don’t get to spar as often anymore! And besides, I also kinda want to spend more time with you outside the Fight Club…”

… Shit. Even if he didn’t remember their birthday, Blythe was fucking ecstatic inside. They didn’t show it though, but the small blush creeping onto their cheeks and the laugh they let out was more than enough for pretty much anyone to tell.

“Ahahaha..! Yeah, I think I’d like that too. It’s been a while since we’ve just hung out! Consider that part of my schedule now.” Now that made Luka even happier, laughing again and hugging Blythe again. “Heck yeah, I’ll be looking forward to it!”

Blythe’s alarm rang again, they turned it off.

“Aw man, you gotta go now? Well don’t let me keep you here!” 

“Yeah, yeah… I’ll see you around?”

“Definitely! See you around Blythe!!”

The Fool waved goodbye as they walked out the Fight Club, checking the address of the box again before deciding to walk there instead of teleporting. There was just something different about walking to do things.

And partially because they wanted to clear their head. Yes, Blythe was happy they got to spend time with Luka today. Yes, they admittedly did feel a bit better. But wouldn’t anyone else be sad that everyone seemingly forgot their birthday?

They were so done with this… Blythe managed to deliver the rest of the stuff and was just sitting on a bench in the center of Boulder Town. The people of Boulder Town remembered and Oleg was apparently doing some work for Wildfire. It was nice everyone else remembered, but it stung that the people in their inner circle completely forgot.

… Maybe Sampo didn’t forget their birthday? Surely he didn’t, he was their big brother. He was the one they celebrated with before they even arrived on Jarilo-VI! So they got out their phone and decided to text him.

So even Sampo forgot…? Oh, for The Laughter, forget it. They can celebrate by themself, that’s totally fine! Totally fine! Yeah!

… Ah, who are they fooling? It isn’t fine… 

Maybe they should just tell everyone so they can finally celebrate. Even if everyone forgot.

They don’t wanna do it right now though. It’s only mid-afternoon, there’s time to kill before confronting anyone. Today’s usually a day they should relax after all, a short walk never killed anyone.

And how, pray tell,  did that short walk end up with Blythe being dragged by Hook and the rest of the Moles through Boulder Town, to the trolleys, up the stairs, and through the Administrative District?

All they were doing was walking around just Boulder Town when the kids said they all needed to show Blythe something really important. They were about to teleport the group of them, but the sneaky little bastards took their transmitter before they could and proceeded to drag them away.

So, they decided to let it be and just went along with whatever the Moles had planned. Blythe ignored the looks people gave them, feeling a bit embarrassed. But whatever made the kids happy…

The Moles led Blythe to a house, they didn’t get to look around properly since Hook tugged on their hand and kept dragging them through. “C’mon Mx. Blythe!!! This is really important!!” “Alright, alright. I’m going, Hook!”

Blythe laughed and followed the group inside. It was dark, so they couldn’t see. They were about to make a small flame with their palm when Hook tugged on it again. 

“No fire! There’s tons of flome– Flan– Fla…”

“Flammable.”

“Flammable stuff here!!! Yeah!”

“Yeah!”

The other Moles agreed with Hook, so of course Blythe had to agree as well.

“Okay, okay, no fire.”

This satisfied the group since they continued to guide Blythe through the building. It was dark, and they could see basically nothing, so they made sure to listen closely to their surroundings just in case something happened.

It was easy to deduce it wasn’t just Blythe and the Moles in the building, they could hear small whispers and light footsteps. Blythe walked faster and kept the kids close to them. “Be careful, alright?” “Of course, Mx. Blythe! We’re supposed to be your guards after all, it’s your special day!!”

Special… Day? Wait a minute, is this?–

“Stop here!!!”

Blythe heard Hook and the rest scurry off, making them stutter out a few words and reach out a hand to catch them, but they were too fast. They were about to ask if this really was what they thought it was, then the lights suddenly turned on and confetti was shot into the air with streamers.

“SURPRISE!!!”

Blinking their eyes open and rubbing them, Blythe could finally see what was going on. A surprise party. 

Everyone was there. Sampo, Gepard, Serval, Lynx, Pela, Bronya, Seele, Natasha, Luka, Oleg, Clara, The Moles, some other members of Wildfire and Silvermane that they know, and the people of Boulder Town… Everyone. Everyone was there. Everyone remembered. Everyone remembered!

“You guys… You guys remembered?! I-I thought you forgot!”

“Man, you really think we’d all just suddenly forget? Even me, your first big brother?! I’m offended, Blythe!” Sampo stepped forward and opened his arms just in time for Blythe to run into him for a big hug, both of them laughing as he spun them around a few times for the fun of it. “Can you really blame me? Everyone hadn’t mentioned a thing about it, of course I thought you did too!”

“Weeellll…” Bronya stepped forward as well and pointed at Sampo. “It was his idea to pretend to forget, then surprise you in the end. But I’d still like to apologize for lying to you…” Before Blythe could say it was okay and that it was worth it for the party, Gepard also spoke up. “I’d also like to apologize, Blythe. I was hoping that we would be done quick enough that you wouldn’t be sad, but then I saw your demeanor back in the Restricted Zone… I’m sorry for–”

“Woah, woah, hold on for a moment. Let me speak!” Blythe waved their hands around to try and gain attention again. Once everyone was looking at them, they sighed and kept speaking. “Ok, yes, it did hurt as I started to realize all of you had forgotten, but you didn’t! It was just so you guys could surprise me in the end! All I really want is to celebrate with you all, honestly… So, hold off on the apologies, you guys set up this party for me after all!”

“So what I’m trying to say is: If none of you ever forgot in the first place, then that’s good enough for me.”

Nearly everyone sagged in relief at Blythe’s words, some of them(Serval and Sampo) being particularly dramatic about it. With the now previously tense atmosphere lifted, Natasha cleared her throat. “Now now, wasn’t this a party for Blythe? Today’s their birthday, we should celebrate.”

“Heck yeah! Blythe, come on, there’s tons of great food to enjoy that you need to try!” Luka walked towards Blythe and took their hand in his, borderline dragging them to where the food was. Everyone else took this as an initiative to get food themselves and do their own things. Pretty soon, the room was filled with joyful chatter and the smell of delicious food.

The duration of the party went as one would expect it to. Serval, Pela, and a few others performed a few songs and Bronya hosted some party games(a few which Blythe won with ease, only stopped a few times by Sampo or Seele). In between all the party games, everyone talked amongst each other and a lot wished Blythe a happy birthday.

Then came the time for Blythe to blow out the candles, where everyone gathered around a table with Blythe at the center as they waited for the cake. Pela had gotten out a camera and was holding it up, Blythe waving at the lens with a smile. 

“Alright, come on! Everyone get ready!” Serval’s voice echoed through the room as she spotted Bronya carrying the cake over. “3, 2… 1!”

“Happy birthday to you,

Happy birthday dear Blythe~

Happy birthday to you~”

“Come on, we can do better than that! Louder!” Everyone laughed as Serval clapped her hands, sounding like some sort of music teacher as she counted down from 3 again.

“Happy birthday to you!” Bronya placed the cake in front of Blythe, Gepard and Serval smiled at them.

“Happy birthday to you!” Natasha got a lighter and lit all the candles, Luka stood beside Blythe and gave them a big hug before letting go,

“Happy birthday dear Blythe~!” Sampo put a hand on their shoulder, grinning at them and them grinning back at him. Pela was filming the entire thing along with Lynx.

“Happy birthday to you~!” Clara, Hook, and The Moles launched confetti and balloons into the air,  Blythe waited a moment to make their wish before they blew out the candles, laughing as everyone cheered for them as they did so. They felt a hand ruffle their hair and another patting their shoulder again, making them laugh even more.

Then Hook ran over to Blythe and gave them a big hug, the other Moles following suit and tackling them to the floor in a fit of giggles. “Mx. Blythe, Mx. Blythe! Can you tell us your wish?!” Before they could answer, Natasha pulled the children off of Blythe so they could stand up. 

Blythe had pretended to think for a moment before shaking their head, giving the Moles a smirk. “No can do, Pitch-Dark Hook the Great! If you say your birthday wish out loud, it won’t come true!” “What?! Oh no, Hook’s been telling papa her birthday wishes every year!!!!”

Everyone laughed at that as Blythe patted her shoulder reassuringly. “Don’t worry! It’s just your papa, you’ll be fine~!” It seemed to appease Hook, as clearly seen by the way she sighed in relief. Then the Fool stood up and clapped their hands. “Alright, what’re we waiting for? I’m craving some cake!” 

Their wish this year? Quite simple actually…

Blythe wished they could celebrate their birthday like this for all the upcoming years. With their new family.

I hope you liked this one! I had fun writing basically the entire HSR cast, and I also had fun making the hsr text chats! But I also hope you guys liked it as well!!!

This was extremely fun to write(even if it took a while), and I want to keep writing stories for Blythe. There's another one coming soon as well :)))

Birthday Event 2024!

Aetherium Wars was a universally popular game, and its popularity reached Belobog when it was hosted on the planet by Giovanni. Of course, Blythe watched all the battles take place since Luka was the one representing Jarilo-VI and they wanted to cheer for him. But they didn't really show interest in playing themselves.

But after the games, Luka asked Blythe if they wanted to pick it up as well so they could go against each other or just as teammates. They couldn't really say 'no' to him, so they agreed.

Alas, thanks to off-planet trips and other things to do with Wildfire, they couldn't play as often as they liked. Overtime, they just kind of... Forgot they were supposed to played it in the first place.

Then Blythe found their Aetherium Chip while cleaning their room, fiddling with it and tossing it up and down.

"How does this thing work again..? Feels like ages since I've last seen it..."

Eventually Blythe sat down and kept fiddling with the coin, refusing to search it up for the sake of their pride. They must've done something wrong, because the coin suddenly emitted a bright light and nearly blinded them.

"Ow-!!"

Blythe threw the damn thing across the room, rubbing at their eyes and blinking so they could see properly. "Maybe I should've searched it up..." Is their epitome as they run a hand through-

They better not have felt what they think they felt.

Blythe ran to the bathroom in record speed and turned on the lights, looking in the mirror. Yeah, no, they weren't imagining things.

That damn Aetherium Chip malfunction had given them dog ears!!

Felt like a sudden but funny twist for their birthday! Give thanks to the ppl in the discord server, they were the ones who decided to make their birthday a happy one.
