We're talking making notes and charts and a list of Everything That Must Go Right for the Perfect Setup. He's made a list of seventy-three options and eliminated half of them. He's fussed over the ring and has three different options stored in his sock drawer, one in the bottle of shower gel Bill doesn't use, and one up in the rafters. There's an excel file with probabilities for weather and temperature and the mood Bill might be in at that exact moment.

Of course, all these things completely fall apart in the most chaotic manner possible, with a high chance of 'near-death experience' to boot.

Dipper ends up blurting out 'Marry me' after the battle, seizing Bill's hand while his own are all sticky with the blood of their enemies and the survivors groan in anguish in the obliterated wreckage. And it's the most romantic proposal Bill could ever ask for.

hi um. can I add my two cents about 11ponds. to me they are geocentric. 11 is the sun, Amy is earth and Rory is moon but they are inverted. the earth is the centre of the universe that the moon and sun both orbit. it's not ment to be like that, its supposed to be the earth and moon are just a pair orbiting the sun that has many other celestial bodies orbiting it. but. for them it's the other way round. Amy is the centre of Rory's universe, he is married to her, the closest anyone can get. but just past him, orbiting them both is a hunge firey ball of power so incomprehensible he looks small, the same size as them, from the earth's perspective. he orbits around the earth and therefore also the moon, but cannot truly get closer to them because he will burn them up. he can only shine his light and warmth on them, for better or worse. and the whole time, the sun and moon follow the earth across the universe all bound together, untill the sun gets so big and old it swallow them both up, and he has nothing but his memories of them. um.anyway sorry for being so insane I hope this makes sense<3

HJGFGH Oh definitely it's a 'bonded for life' kinda deal, literally as well as metaphorically. As for what to call it, well it's not romantic nor is it platonic - Queer-Platonic is the closest/best term for it and that's generally how i refer to their relationship! It's very much it's own special thing, and it differs greatly from typical human relationships. (Honestly if they were humans it would probably be super unhealthy lmao)

From Eclipse's perspective he doesn't really give any label to what he and Ruin have. At the very beginning it was a sort of mutual roommate situation that developed overtime into them becoming so much more, to the point that - as you correctly said - they would no longer be able to survive without the other.

Presently Eclipse is aware that Ruin is now his counterpart and has fully accepted that (again there's a story behind this happening that i hope to one day share should i ever manage to finish the fic gfjkg) but as far as an actual term goes? Hell if he knows, but he's content either way, even if he does grouch a lot!

For Ruin, it's more simple - to him Eclipse is his mate, his bonded, his partner for life. Now again this differs greatly from human and even your typical animal forms of relationships (especially with the mated for life deal) and it still falls very closely under the qpr catagory. Mers don't actually mate in the sexual sense (genderless beings and all) so for them to bond for life is to quite literally bind/tie their soul to another making them as one almost.

So long story short, it's a queer-platonic partnered for life kinda deal! Neither of them have any actual labels for it, it's just a 'we're attached at the hip and we ain't letting go'. It's truly queer!

I like the comic, but I need to point out that they literally couldn’t heed Killcode’s advice to stop being used. Like, it’s canon that Ruin programmed them with no free will. They did try, and they still couldn’t stop being used because that’s how they were designed.

Kill Code urged them to try to “break” or grow beyond their programming. Kill Code was programmed to kill. The creator never intended him to have free will either. It’s how he was also designed.

With KC’s off screen arc (as Lunar put it in one episode), we didn’t really get to see much struggle or push against his programming, but as he was able to go against his programming that was what he was trying to get the twins to do. Follow in his paw steps.

I think the twins didn’t have much incentive to do this, to push beyond a comfortable state. I also think the tampered memories played a part in this as well. Who knows how little they remembered of their good times with Kill Code.

There was potential for a really great soul searching arc for the twins, but that is not the path that was taken. Either way, Kill Code is the only one who ever cared about the twins as anything other than a tool, and I believe he’d be there for them in life and in death.

Normally y/n works as a handler and cleans up after the boys, but they also enjoy making "messes" of their own. When doing their "other job" they go by Crimson Death. Cold and calculated, they like to play with their "guests" before ending them. Their favorite tool is a knife. When the boys tease y/n, they tease the boys right back.

Traditionally, ghouls (humans who drink vampire blood for magical benefits, but remain human nonetheless) say daily prayers three times a day, at sunrise, midday, and sunset. Vampires’ daily prayers are twice a night, at sunset and sunrise, since we can’t really wake up for midday. I’ve written out prayers for all five of these; I’m certain they’re not perfectly accurate, but they feel right enough to work for me, and I’ve been using the ghoul prayers ever since (as much as it feels a little weird to go back to that version, the vampire prayers don’t really make sense to use in my current situation - they make reference to the vampiric inability to touch sunlight, treat sunset as the start of the waking period and sunrise as the end, and make reference to having ghouls and mortal initiates to have duties to). Sometimes I modify them slightly to acknowledge Mithras as “Great Sire.” They’re brief little things; some people accompany them with a small sacrifice (usually just a pinch of incense or a small portion of the accompanying meal or something), but I haven’t been doing that. It’s not strictly necessary.
