Howdy friend! I have been wanting to train one of my pokemon to be a service mon for a while now. I have very crippling anxiety and I saw you have a Dachsbun trained for your disability.
Do you have any pointers on what of my own pokemon would be best suited for an anxiety service mon? Sorry if this is too personal!! I thought maybe getting advice from someone with one would help. ;w;
I have an Emboar, Cubone, Cranidos, Girafarig, Luxray, and a Gengar.

Hello there! It's not personal at all, don't worry about it c: I'll admit I do have Ribbons trained for a variety of tasks just because my disability overlaps with a lot of different things. One of them is anxiety! The scent that Dachsbuns tend to release is not only good for growing wheat, but has been known as well to calm people down. But that's not necessarily her main task, she also retrieves things and alerts me for my heartrate being too fast.
I do want to clarify it might also do some good to get your Pokemon's natures evaluated to see how suited they are to service work? For example, a timid or rash mon probably aren't the best choices for service work as they get stressed easily in public spaces. Most nature evaluators should be able to tell you if you're pokemon are fit for service work. (If you're close to Orre, honestly, I wouldn't mind meeting up and checking your Pokemon out at all!) A lot of people actually seek out specific breeders that breed pokemon for certain types of work!
There also tends to be the issue with the size of a Pokemon- you can see larger Pokemon helping with mobility a lot but if they're too big it ends up being a disturbance to a lot of others in regions where they don't allow Pokemon to freely roam outside of their pokeballs inside buildings and in cities. (Sometimes if its a smaller Pokemon you can get away with it but ehhhh. depending on your region they can be really strict with the rules)
For anxiety specifically, however, you usually see a lot of psychic types being used- they tend to be more in-tune with their trainers than a lot of other types of Pokemon. That's what makes your Girafarig stick out the most to me. Their second head can also be good for being able to sense anxiety while they sleep as well and can allow them to alert you and task!
Girafarig are a little on the large side, however, which is a bit of an issue. Your Gengar might be good if it had the correct nature, because it can easily hang out in your shadow as well. Ghost types are also seen with anxiety service work (which is a little ironic to me, haha) because they also tend to be more attuned to their trainers.
If I had to make any specific recommendations, if you're in the market for finding a separate mon specifically for anxiety, I'd recommend an indeedee! They are very loyal to their trainers and are already predisposed to want to take care of them, and they tend to feed off of gratitude and positive emotions. They are very eager-to-please Pokemon and are very easy to train.
Service mon aren't considered in league/colliseum limits for teams of six, since they're technically considered under assistive medical devices, sort of similar to how we use rotoms with a lot of electronic devices. I've even seen rotoms be used for blood glucose monitors! Cool stuff, so don't worry about not being able to have your main team during gyms and the league if that's something you're worried about!
