Here’s the first reader insert headcannons for tgtbatu that were in my drafts I think these were written after bawling my eyes out so 😭

The main three catching you crying:

Angel eyes:

Sentenza will hold his pipe in between your lips until he’s sure you can hold it on your own. Take as many puffs as you want, hell, use the whole pouch of tobacco if you like

This turns into you two passing it back and fourth until your tears have of dried a little.

It’s fine if you don’t want to talk it out, he keeps his secrets too.

But if you do, Sentenza does this thing where he slowly leans in inch by inch until your forehead is pressed against his, and you can feel his mustache tickling your top lip every time you speak.

Tuco:

“Hey, hey now come to Tuco.”

He’ll bunch you up in his arms as if you were clothes he’s just pulled off the line. Nuzzling all over your face and practically drying your tears with his kisses.

You don’t really even have to talk about it because he’s whispering in your ear in Spanish

“Conejito bonito por favor no llores”

And you’re not immune to this whatsoever because by the time he’s done you’re giggling in his lap

Blondie (this one was hard tbh):

You two just kinda of stared at each other for a few minutes. Until he motions for you both to sit at opposite ends of the room.

Blondie will throw you a cigar and match, breaking the silence by saying something totally unrelated.

“Nice day today huh?” it comes off as him not caring but it’s actually a ploy to take your mind off of whatever’s troubling you

Because by the end of the night you’re both comparing guns and trying on the other’s gun belt.

I figure Blondie would be so jealous of Tuco’s past marriages. He would constantly ask “so did you do x with your wife” “did you take her to y” and Tuco would have to do everything he says because otherwise Blondie would pout so hard and he cannot stand Blondie being inconvenienced in the least

When Blondie wants something he just gives Tuco that wide eyed stare he gave him when he asked to kill some men for him and Tuco is not able to say no ever

20 - bandaging/stitching up an injury

“Ah! Watch it, Blondie!” Tuco hisses as the thread pulls.

Blondie mutters a quiet apology and continues his task. He’s never enjoyed this particular side effect of their business; injuries happen, of course, but it’s always worse when it’s a hand that’s injured. The cut on Tuco’s palm is deep enough to warrant stitches, and Blondie grits his teeth a little each time Tuco winces. He has one hand cradling Tuco’s as the other does its gruesome task. He’s a killer by design, but he doesn’t set out to cause pain. Most of the time, at least.

“You should be more careful,” he says as the last stitch is tied. “If something happens to your hands…”

Tuco shrugs, his hand still cradled in Blondie’s. “I’ve got two hands. If one isn’t quite as fast as the other, I’ll still be a better shot than you.”

He huffs a laugh at that. “I don’t doubt that.”

The bandage is clean, thankfully, and Blondie finds himself staring at the contrast of white bandage on tanned skin. He strokes a finger lightly over the material, careful not to put any pressure on the wound beneath.

“Still…” he holds Tuco’s hand and deliberately doesn’t meet the man’s eyes. “Would be a shame to lose a talent like yours due to carelessness.”

Tuco’s fingers twitch. He doesn’t draw back, his hand warm where it lies. Their knees press together and Blondie draws Tuco’s hand closer, pretending to inspect his work.

“Not that I’m saying you’re careless,” he adds.

“You better not be.” Tuco’s fingers curl, brushing Blondie’s lightly.

He looks up and catches Tuco’s gaze. The man is staring at him, face set in a carefully neutral expression, but Blondie can see the cautious interest in it. The caution flees, replaced by pure anticipation as Blondie raises the hand to his lips. He presses a kiss to the bandage, eyes never leaving Tuco’s, his lips curving into a smile as Tuco strokes his cheek with a thumb.

“Feeling better?” Blondie feels the warmth of Tuco’s skin and resists the urge to burrow into it. Tuco nods. “Good.”

Tuco smiles at him, he smiles back. Maybe it isn’t the worst chore after all.
