📺 2023-2024 TV Shows: Who's In, Who's Out?! 🤔
Netflix's Show Rollercoaster 🎬🎢 So, I stumbled upon this Netflix show list like I was raiding the back of the fridge for leftover pizza. And let me tell you, it's like a TV series soap opera on steroids, but with more cancellations and renewals than a cat's indecisiveness when faced with an open door. First up, we've got a show named "1899." And guess what? It got canceled faster than a squirrel on an espresso binge after just one season. Talk about a historical speed run! 🏃♂️💨 Then there's "Big Mouth." It's apparently ending with season 8. They must've realized that puberty jokes have an expiration date, and it's about time to let those animated hormones rest in peace. 🙅♂️🤦♀️ Now, let's dive into the world of Bling Empire. Brace yourselves, because this show got canceled after season 2. I guess the empire wasn't as blingy as they thought, and someone had to pawn off the reality TV tiaras. 👑💍 Hold on tight, folks, because we've got a spin-off – Bling Empire: New York! And guess what? It hit the chopping block after just one season. New York can be ruthless, but canceling a show that fast? That's a new level of speed dating. 💔🗽 But fear not, because "Buying Beverly Hills" is coming back for round two! Apparently, Beverly Hills is still in vogue, and these buyers just can't resist the allure of multi-million dollar homes and mandatory drama. 🏠🤑 Cobra Kai fans, rejoice! The show is getting renewed for a sixth and final season. You know what they say, "Wax on, wax off, and end with a bang." Time to savor those last karate kicks! 🥋💥 And oh, Elite, you're like the Energizer Bunny of Netflix. Renewed for season 8? Seriously, by that point, these high schoolers will probably have more drama than a Kardashian family reunion. 🎭🎉 Then we have Fubar... renewed for season 2! I guess they figured out how to keep the party going. Somebody pass me a glittery confetti cannon, stat! 🎉✨ But hold your horses because Freeridge got the boot after just one season. It's like Netflix's version of a one-hit-wonder – here today, canceled tomorrow. 🎵👋 Now, Inside Job took the exit after season 2. I guess the secret conspiracies couldn't keep up with the real-life ones. Maybe they should've asked Siri for some tips on staying relevant. 🤖💼 Lockwood & Co.? Canceled after season 1. I bet even the locksmiths couldn't figure out how to unlock a second season for this one. 🔒🔑 And remember Mindhunter? Yeah, it got canceled after season 2. The minds behind that show must've had a tough time profiling Netflix's cancel-happy tendencies. 🕵️♂️🚫 Mo is coming back for a second and final season. Mo, you better make this one count – the grand finale needs to be more epic than a roller coaster drop! 🎢🎤 Night Agent got the green light for season 2. Guess they'll continue moonlighting as secret agents and keeping us hooked on their late-night shenanigans. 🌙🕶️ Oh, and speaking of riding the wave, Outer Banks is back for season 4. These teenagers are probably on their way to discovering the lost city of Atlantis by now. 🌊🏝️ Perfect Match found its match – a renewal for season 2! I guess true love really does conquer all, including Netflix's ax of cancellation. 💘📺 Physical 100 got pumped up for a second season. These fitness buffs must be sweating more from the suspense of renewal than from their actual workouts. 💪😅 Selling the OC is selling like hotcakes with not one but two renewals! Orange County real estate drama? Sign me up for a prime beachfront seat! 🏖️🏠 Sweet Tooth is satisfying our cravings with a third and final season. Maybe they'll reveal the secret recipe for hybrid human-deer snacks. 🦌🍫 Can you believe they're giving us more of That ‘90s Show? Apparently, nostalgia is like the gift that keeps on giving, even if it's in the form of old flannel shirts and dial-up internet. 🕰️📟 The Diplomat is getting diplomatic with a renewal for season 2. Maybe they'll broker world peace in between plot twists. 🌍🕊️ And don't even get me started on The Mole. It's back for season 2, which means there's a whole new season of trying to spot that sneaky saboteur. 🔍🕵️ The Recruit got recruited for a second season. It's like a reality TV boot camp that just can't stop enlisting more contestants for the drama battlefield. 🏕️🎖️ Too Hot to Handle is heating things up for a fifth season. Seriously, these contestants need a lesson in emotional regulation more than a reality dating show. 🔥❌💑 Uncoupled got uncoupled from Netflix after just one season. That's faster than my WiFi disconnecting during a video call. 📶👫 And finally, Wednesday is giving us more of her spooky charm in season 2. It's like the Addams Family meets Netflix's addiction to renewals. 👻🖤 You thought it was over? Nope! It's renewed for a fifth and final season. This stalker might finally get the closure they've been... well, stalking. 🕵️♂️🔍 And last but not least, we've got Sex/Life – canceled after season 2. It seems like the writers couldn't quite keep the spark alive for another round. 🔥😴 Oh, and before I wrap this up, shoutout to Ginny & Georgia for scoring renewals like they're getting free samples at a Costco. Two more seasons? These guys are binge-watching their own lives! 🍿📚 And finally, in the cozy corner, we've got Virgin River – renewed for Season 6. I guess they're gonna keep milking that small-town drama like it's a cow with a golden udder. 🐄💰 So there you have it, folks! A wild Netflix ride with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster made of spaghetti. 🍝🎢 Buckle up, cancel buttons and renewals are at the ready, and remember – if you can't handle the heat, just binge-watch another show! 📺# Netflix's Show Rollercoaster 🎬🎢 So, I stumbled upon this Netflix show list like I was raiding the back of the fridge for leftover pizza. Catching up on Netflix
So the series of Bling Empire (New York) has debuted on Netflix. I think I'm on episode 4 and it's okay. I really loved the original Bling Empire. The cast was so much fun and energetic! This new series is kind of a spin off of the original. The casts of this show are a bit "ehh". The one member that is really catching my attention this season is Dorothy Wang. She's quite funny and doesn't hold back. I think having her on the show made it a bit more interesting. Tina is a very hardworking fashion blogger and I commend her for getting out there and making a living for herself. I think Richard Chang is similar to Kevin from the original Bling Empire. I think he's trying to figure it out and do his own thing and trying to social climb to the top. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders but will see.. I overall give this show a 6 out of 10. I'm trying to get into it but it's just not it for me. Let me know what you think?

You don’t have to research too extensively to find out that Rihanna is a modern-day style icon. The CFDA has already officiated it . And still, there’s a special reason the title is bestowed upon her: The singer/designer is straight-up fearless when it comes to what she wears.
Rihanna is the kind of fashion lover who dresses for herself, eschewing what’s so-called flattering, expected, or on trend for what feels good. She’s championed cool, under-the-radar designers at major red carpet events and is the first to wear the (sometimes polarizing) items we see on the runways of fashion week, and don’t even get us started on her dedication to adhering to the Met Gala dress code .
But, as always, it’s the streets where Rihanna’s fashion know-how shines, where she doesn’t hesitate to wear everything from skinny jeans to lace-up boot leggings to sweatsuits to naked heels. Ahead, take a look at the ensembles that will solidify her place in fashion history and inspire so many re-creations of her timeless looks.
On Rihanna: Off-White sweatpants; Dior tote; Fenty x Puma slides. Style Notes: T minus three days until the Met Gala. Rihanna just touched down in New York ahead of the event, which she is co-hosting with Amal Clooney and Donatella Versace, wearing a super-casual outfit. Her extra-large denim jacket, slouchy sweatpants, and slippers-and-socks combo make basically the most comfortable airport look we’ve seen in a while. Now, we’ll be waiting with bated breath to see what she has up her sleeve for the red carpet on Monday. Something tells us it will be a bit more over-the-top than this. On Rihanna: Versace dress; Chopard jewelry. Style Notes: While a little black dress can certainly stand alone as a hero piece, adding something extra special—in this case, a statement belt—takes a going-out look to the next level. On Rihanna: Simone Rocha coat; Palace sweatpants; Dior bag; Ugg Classic II Genuine Shearling Lined Short Boots ($160); Off-White x Warby Parker sunglasses. Style Notes: Choosing a classic, all-black (or at least mostly black) outfit is a shortcut to making any look a little more polished and sophisticated—yes, even sweats. On Rihanna: Roc Nation hat; Off-White x Warby Parker sunglasses; Gucci Hooded Nylon Caban Down Jacket ($7900); Fenty Puma by Rihanna tote; Dior bag; Ugg Classic II Genuine Shearling Lined Short Boot ($160). Style Notes: As Rihanna just showed us at JFK airport, if you’re going to wear Uggs, you might as well make it fashion and pair them with forward yet comfortable pieces. On Rihanna: Micol Ragni coat; Aquazurra Rendez Vous Sandals ($800); Bulgari bag; Lalaounis necklace; Elsa Peretti Bone Cuff ($11,000). Style Notes: The songstress and style icon really went 100% into metallics with a look that featured a reflective sheen from head (or earrings) to toe. On Rihanna: Dior jacket and dress. Style Notes: Leather on leather doesn’t have to look like it’s straight out of The Matrix. A minidress with a bustier-style top and a draped trench looks ultra cool with strappy sandals, a slicked-back ponytail, and a red lip. On Rihanna: Puma x Fenty top and pants. Style Notes: A general rule of thumb is choosing one voluminous piece to be the hero of your look. Here, Rihanna casts aside the rules in favor of two billowy pieces—and it totally worked, thanks to a figure-hugging, corset-like detail at the waist that grounds the look. On Rihanna: Jacquemus top; Madewell Frayed Denim Skirt ($80); Frasier Sterling Valley Choker ($31); Gucci bag. Style Notes: Coordinate your lip color to your shirt? Why not? Here, Rihanna demonstrates her version of matchy-matchy—which is very subtle and totally cool. On Rihanna: Tom Ford S/S 18 top, skirt, and boots. Style Notes: Denim is an obvious choice for pants and jackets—but what about boots? Rihanna puts her own spin on the jean-queen look, opting for knee-high, slouchy stiletto boots that totally make the outfit. On Rihanna: Oliver Peoples The Row Empire Suite sunglasses; Off-White x Jimmy Choo boots. Style Notes: Rihanna is the master of working a monochrome ensemble—even in daring bright white. Elevate your airport look like the style star by finishing off laid-back pieces with a leather shoe and statement sunglasses. On Rihanna: Erika Cavallini jacket; Balenciaga Leather Pointed-Toe Mules ($735); Christian Dior bag. Style Notes: The style star is known for playing with proportions—and that means sometimes the top half is enough to carry the whole look. Here, her oversize blazer works as a minidress of sorts, accessorized with razor-sharp mules, a gilded bag, and of-the-moment oval sunnies. On Rihanna: Nili Lotan Cami Gown ($595); Sergio Rossi Silver Laminated Leather Sandals ($730). Style Notes: To avoid a rolled-out-of-bed look that’s too literal, style with a silky overcoat and tonal heels—and make sure your glam is on point. On Rihanna: Juun.j shirt; Giuseppe Zanotti shoes; Maison Margiela belt. Style Notes: Shimmy down the shoulders of your button-down shirt (or dress) to instantly fake a V-neck shape. On Rihanna: Matthew Adams Dolan suit. Style Notes: Don’t stick to traditional body shapes (like an hourglass)—use exaggerated proportions to dictate your own silhouette. On Rihanna: Prada pajamas; The Row bag. Style Notes: Before you leave the house, throw on one more statement piece… instead of the old Coco Chanel advice. On Rihanna: Christian Dior So Real Pop 59mm Sunglasses ($395). Style Notes: Even a casual look can benefit from a bit of footwear bling. On Rihanna: Unravel boots. Style Notes: Rihanna’s lace-up boot leggings take center stage against a classic trench coat. On Rihanna: Off-White shirt; Dior bag and beret. Style Notes: Don’t shy away from oversize denim pieces. Pair them with more slim-fit basics or a cropped top to balance the proportions of the bold look. On Rihanna: Burberry jacket. Style Notes: Who’s to say green doesn’t pair well with pink (or orange or red, for that matter)? Style two contrasting colors, and you might be pleasantly surprised by the result. Next up: Take a look at the Gigi Hadid outfits we all want to copy.

Pulling out all the Stops in this Formal 1952 five-window Chevy pickup
After building several high-end street rods over the years, Mike Little of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania decided it was the right time to change gears. Though he loved his beautifully built hot rods, he now the urge to bring a street rod truck into his life, and build it with the same precision he imparted on his Ford and Chevy rods over the years. And since he used a modern pick-up for his daily driver, the decision to build the truck of his dreams wasn’t such a stretch at all. His 6’2” frame would surely appreciate the extra room that a stock height pick-up truck would offer.
So Mike started the search for a suitable donor ride to start his build with. He spied an interesting but needy ’52 Chevy sitting outside a shop in Abbottstown a few miles away. A local hot rodder had bought the truck and moved it to the locale with all the intentions to build it into a usable street rod. The owner realized he wasn’t going to get to it anytime soon, so he was open to any fair offers on the Chevy. Mike and his wife Lisa made a bid on the builder Bowtie, and it was quickly accepted. The price; just $1200.00!
From there, Mike and Lisa sat down and planned out the build of the ’52 from start to finish. Being fluent in CAD, Mike drew out every design aspect of his future ride, planning each feature and embellishment, and then laid it out in print. And being a lover of classic Corvette’s, Mike designed his color palette around a beautiful ’57 he had seen over the years; a car skinned in black, with silver accents, and a ride sporting a rich red interior. He used these chosen hues on his future ride, knowing for damn sure that black doesn’t forgive poor body work or build execution. Even with this thought lurking in the back of his head, Mike knew he and his team could pull off the build and do it with style to spare.
The next few years were spent gathering up needed parts, as this truck was not going to be an overnight sensation. An S10 rolling frame was scored along with a C10 rear axle and trailing arms. Next a complete Silverado engine and transmission found their way back to the home garage in Spring Grove. By the time 2006 rolled around, the project was underway.
The build started with the ‘84 S10 frame which had been boxed and reinforced by Mike. Ride Tech supplied much of the front suspension including Strong Arm upper and lower control arms, RQ Shockwave shocks, billet adjuster sleeves and a Musclebar front sway bar with posi-links. Stock ’98-’03 Blazer/Jimmy knuckles and wheel bearing hub assemblies along with Kore3 C5 13-inch disc brake assemblies were added to handle the braking duties up front. Out back, the now reinforced stock trailing arms and crossmember started off the build. Ridetech air bags mounted on custom brackets were installed next, along with Monroe gas shocks. An extended length panhard bar and brackets were built and installed by the owner. Rear braking duties are handled without issue by a pair of stock 11-inch drums. A Ridetech Air Pod system, with its completely integrated air compressor system, is mounted in the bed to handle the ride height on this burly Bowtie.
To push this ’52 down the highway, the Littles started with a 2004 5.3L Siverado engine. The powerplant was in good shape and needed nothing to get it to perform the way it needed to. The owners just needed to spruce up the exterior of the motor, adding Ingelese valve cover adapters to fit the Edelbrock polished covers. A matching air cleaner lid fit the bill and made the overall design of the LS engine look cohesive. The ignition coils were relocated above the fuel rails by Mike himself by making custom brackets. Next, the stock manifolds were finished in Performance Coatings OEM cast iron gray finish, and were matched up to a mandrel bent 2 ½ inch exhaust system with Dynomax stainless steel oval mufflers adding the muscular tone to this drivetrain.
Shifting in this Chevy is done by a stock 4L60E transmission. Power is sent out back through an Inland Empire 3 ½ inch aluminum driveshaft to a ’69 C10 12-bolt positraction rear, stuffed with 3.73 gears. It was narrowed 3 inches and now sports Moser 5 lug axles to get the back meats spinning. Billet Specialties Bonneville G wheels, 18×8 up front and 20×8.5 out back, add a little bling at the corners They are shod in Hankook Ventus V12 Evo rubber, 225/40ZR/18 and 245/40ZR/20 respectively.
The list of body modifications is a lengthy one, as almost every inch of this beautiful truck has been touched by the fabricators hand. To start off, the Northeastern winters were rather tough on the Chevy during its life, so there was plenty to repair on the ‘52’s original sheet metal. From there the truck received classic styling touches such as shaved drip rails, a filled cowl vent, a smoothing of the firewall and a one-piece, peaked hood made from the OEM halves. But there’s more….
The front fender arch was reshaped to remove the factory flat spot. The running boards were redesigned to extend around the front fenders and modified for the custom exhaust which would exit through a rolled lip in the original boards. Metal filler pieces were fabricated to fill the one-inch gap between the doors and the boards. The door vent windows were removed in favor of one-piece, custom side glass. Bear claw style latches were added as well, and PT Cruiser handles and finger cups replaced the originals for a more modern look. Last but not least, a gas filler assembly was added to the rear fender to aid quicker fill-ups! Out back, the bed received extensive modifications as well. Mike started out with the OEM piece and then started chopping away. He first grabbed a re-pop tailgate and front bed panel and infused them into the build. Next, the bed’s stake pockets were removed and the rectangular holes in the bed rails were filled. Mike added fabbed bed rail braces and extended the front of the bed to match the curve of the cab. He then added some neat tricks such as hidden tailgate hinges, and filled in the chain slots for a cleaner look. Mike also designed and built the one-off tailgate stop mechanism sported by this ’52. A custom locking tonneau cover keeps their belongings safe out on the road. Underneath, a rolled pan was fabricated which also contains the license plate holder. A secondary pan was made as well, to clean up the space between the fenders.
The skin of this show rod is as near perfection as a pure black hot rod can be. Mike himself did all the rough body work. It was then handed over to Hanover Auto Craft in Hanover, Pennsylvania where the final body work, priming and block sanding took place. The PPG DBC Black with DCU clear was laid down with precision by Andy Arter at Kess Auto Body in Hanover. Then the ’52 went back to HAC where the final color sanding and buffing took place. The result is a black that looks a mile deep.
The interior is a work of automobile art. Starting off, the dash was shaved and a custom gauge eyebrow was added. A pair of ‘95 Pontiac Bonneville six-way power seats were installed up front and surround a custom console drawn up and fabricated by Mike. Hand built armrests keep the driver comfortable on long trips. A 1984 Buick Regal tilt column and repro 15-inch ’55 Chevy steering wheel are an appropriate mix of new and old. Owner fabricated metal under dash panels bring it all together in a modern touch. John Sterner at Statler’s Upholstery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania covered it all in beautiful Torch Red faux leather.
An Alpine Am/Fm/CD head unit and Kicker 6 speaker sound system supplies the tunes to this good time ride. An Autometer Designer Black II quad gauge and GPS driven speedo keep tabs on the vitals. The tonneau cover was upholstered with black Haartz cloth for a cool, vintage vibe. A Vintage Air heat/cool/defrost set-up handles the temps inside the cockpit! The air runs through unique fiberglass A/C ducts which match the truck’s ’32 Oldsmobile turn signals. These were handcrafted with 2010 Chevy HHR vents by the owners. Finally, Gros Point Red carpet (’53-’55 Corvette color) was chosen to cover the floor of this truly unique ride.
As lifelong GM fans, Mike and Lisa designed this truck combining parts and features from sixteen different GM models. The build spanned a decade, with the couple working on it when money and time permitted, in their own oversized one-bay garage. Only final body and paint work and upholstery were sourced out and done outside the confines of their property.
The Littles would like to thank Chris Moscarell who helped Mike refine his sheet metal skills and pitched in on several portions of the project. A shout out goes to both Norm Wisner and Dave Whisler at HAC who final prepped for paint and color sanded after final paint application. One more hurrah goes to John Sterner at Statler’s for the beautiful upholstery work and interior fabrication advice. The Little’s truck is not only a gem of a ride, but it glistens with the knowledge that Mike and Lisa put their own personal touches on it, creating the formal, stately truck inside their own personal workshop.
