all these posts about american exceptionalism made me realize now that many of my teachers would hate me lmao

from the teacher who said that our legal system is the reason why we're the best in the world

to the teachers who only showed the perspective of the veterans during the Korean War and Vietnam War and really try to hammer in to only feel bad for the veterans

to the teacher who argued that the civil war was about states rights (just that)

to the teacher who was kinda weird about their past students going onto college and then becoming blue-haired socialist in some way or another

they all gotta hate my ass

like, its kinda funny because in these same classes i felt some racist and/or classist presence so 🤷🏽‍♀️ im sorry yall failed me and other students in providing us the accurate material needed to understand the world we live in

Most of my coworkers are babies. 19, 20, 21 and they eat like shit. Sat down with one last night and her dinner was a bag of goldfish and a rice krispies treat and I was like. What the fuck. And she goes "oh I have a poptart too!"

I gave her a package of crackers because I had a box of them but anyway I am going to feed these children the way my professor fed me in college when I was eating the same way. The bread and peanut butter/jelly I keep in my locker is about to be communal. Eat, damn you.

Reason to hate twitter nr 1456: The Entire Jocat situation a week ago

context: Jocat played a game on stream and was asked his type, where he sang a parody of Lizzo's "Boys", and made an animated video for the viewers not caught up with his twitch. The video was deemed funny but a bit cringy. A week ago i think, he decided to quit being on the internet due to twitter fuckers having attempted to dox him and made threats to hurt him for being a quote unquote "misogynist" and supporting bullying and harassment on the internet, the video being used as evidence for the misogyny somehow??? When all he sang about was liking girls of all body proportions??? This was all the context i could gather.
