Ichigos friend group has gotten used to his wandering. He’ll go to bed one place and wake up in another. Black out for an hour and wake up in France.

it’s not normal, he knows that most people don’t do this. It’s more than sleepwalking. But he doesn’t know what else to but except it. It and the voice so much darker than his that came with it and whispered adventures into his ears for them to go on.

it’s strange, it used to frighten them but now it’s like the noises that come from his throat and the reflection his eyes sometimes have. They’re all things that are uniquely Ichigo. Something not worth mentioning or worrying about because it never was a true issue and he always came back eventually. It doesn’t hurt anyone.

After a while all of them willingly submitted to a tracker, so they would know where everyone was. It was mostly for Ichigo but they could all use a little help with how weird their collective schedule was.

When Shinji approached Ichigo on his “inner hollow” issue, Ichigo had started to catalogue all the weird things he did to try and figure out how much his hollow truly effected him.

Years of being mishandled by adults gave him precious little trust for them and while he knew he needed help(The voices were so fucking loud and had gotten angrier over time, pushing him to do more and more despite the fact that his mortal body couldn’t handle what they suggested. ) he wasn’t all that willing to put himself in a situation with strangers he didn’t know.

When he finally broke, because he needed fucking help Goddam it, the training went wrong. Or right?

One moment he’s losing control of his grip on Shiro, with Hiyori keeping him on his feet seemingly trying to force it out of his control. (He knew trusting them was a terrible idea) The next moment he’s standing in the middle of New York.

There blood under his nails that smells like the Vizard. All of them despite only having memories of fighting one of them, however there isn’t the scent of permanent blood that he had learned from his travels are associated with killers. Whatever happened to them, they survived. He’s thankful for that.

At this point he has a system. He finds a cafe to get calories in his system and warmth back in his bones, charges his phone( where did he grab it! It wasn’t there when he was fighting) and calls Orihime to let her know where he is. She’s most likely to pick up at 11:30 at night.

She already knows he isn’t anywhere near Japan, the tracker is still in place so of course she knows. She listens to him explain how long it will take him to get back from somewhere in Geta-Bosh’s’ Shop ,even going so far as to span the camera to the man himself who stands in the corner of the room closest to the door.

It takes him an embarrassingly long moment to figure out she’s in the training rooms. In his defense he was busy trying to figure out why Urahara was looking at Orihime like she tried to force him to eat her cooking and who the second blond behind him was. The screen had moved too quickly for him to get a good visual and he knew a few too many blonds.

Shinji was panicking.

The kids hollow was stronger than expected and had broken out of Hachis barriers. It hadn’t been his strongest barrier, but they hadn’t thought a second one would even be needed and now the Hollowfied Kid was gone.

Going to Urahara was a tactical choice. They had thrown ideas at one another for where a hollow of Ichigos size may run off to, when they had entered the training grounds and found one of his friends just…..causally?? On call with the boy.

They were acting like it was a normal Tuesday. What the fuck.

the casual mention of him “wandering off”??? Made both the men more concerned then they already were.

Wielder of Light and Shadow

First Bleach prompt. It's just a different zanpakuto au.

So, I don't know about most people, but I enjoyed some of the concepts and characters we saw in the filler arcs of Bleach. I especially liked Maki from the Bount arc and his Zanpakuto and thought it fit Ichigo due to how it controls light and shadows and Ichigo is part Soul Reaper and Quincy.

I think it would have been cool to see Ichigo wield Nijigasumi to represent this heritage. The zanpakuto has such a flexible ability (turning reiatsu into light particles by infusing it into Nijigasumi) that would be cool to see more of it. Plus, its main weakness is when someone can use their own reiatsu to overpower, which goes well with Ichigo's strength.

For the Bankai, I thought it could be similar to Byakuya's Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, where the blade vanishes as the Bankai activates. However, instead of cherry blossoms, it can be one or multiple suns that produce endless amounts of light that can also control the shadows.

It’s baffling to me that Bella didn’t give herself depression bangs in New Moon

Very very dumb Bleach AU idea where Ichigo(at full power basically soul king level) goes back in time to fix everything ends up way further back like young captain commander time, he's able to fully kill Yhwach and prevent him doing anything at all, no sleep no future quincy war, he also gets involved in making soul society...more so just vetoing anything like central 46 because nothing involving them ended well, and should make things easier and less likely for anyone to manipulate.

He travels around for a bit making sure everything settled and no other persons gonna try to take over the world before not really knowing what to do... when he next checks in on soul society gotei 13's all established and everything seems to be going well, but when he checks in on captain commander he's like 'Well we need someone in charge'

'Isn't that you old man?'

'I can't be fully in charge of all of soul society I run the gotei 13... no we need someone else to run soul society'

'...'

'...no'

Ichigo is now on the run from all the captains who are trying to get him to take over things because a) he's insanely powerful b) he's actually good and not corrupted and will actually care about people and not just the nobles c) He has common sense.

'DON'T YOU HAVE THE SOUL KING FOR THIS?'

'Ichigo I am still convinced you are the soul king'

'I'm not!'

'You haven't aged a single day in the hundreds of years i've known you and you literally bitch slapped Ywatch into oblivion, you also seem to have all the powers..ALL OF THEM'

And this goes on for centuries Ichigo tying very hard not to have to rule soul society and convince people he isn't the soul king. Only her keeps ending up doing this because he keeps ending up adopting younger versions of captains and others. (It started with the captain commander sending little Jushiro, Kyoraku and a tiny feral Unohana to stop Ichigo he just went big brother mode... he is the one person Unohana will listen to and not try to murder...well when she tries to murder him it's more a game then an actually murder attempt)

Just Ichigo who ends up being big brother to like all of Seireitei, he doesn't age at all but even when the others get older them him still totally see him as their big brother. Him always having at least one or two following him around like ducklings.

Some hollows figuring out how to evolve to arrancar naturally... Ichigo was in Hucheo mundo for a while and his weird reality breaking powers might have affected things. Shinigami are totally chill with them because all of them have seen these types of hollow powers before most grew up seeing Ichigo use them casually. (Also Unohana wants to fight them)

Well until Grimmjow shows up and him and Ichigo are fight flirting just being very weird and all of seretiei are ready to give a shovel talk. Captain meetings are them plotting 'Big brother can do way better'. Captain commander is just watching all this amused.

(None of them realize Grimmjow thought process is

'Wait if I date Kurosaki I get to fight all of them... OI KUROSAKI WE'RE DATING NOW!'

...Just developed an awesome plot for ulquihime comic/fic while I napped.

Grimmichi - post-TYBW spin-off about how the 'peaceful' 'human' life is not what Ichigo actually wants or needs.

Byaichi - post-TYBW; Ichigo gets dragged into another supernatural conflict! This time, an old enemy of the Kuchiki clan comes into play, and they won't stop at anything to cause Byakuya as much pain as possible.

Ulquihime - post-TYBW; A being is found deep in the deserts of Hueco Mundo, barely alive, almost unrecognizable. Later a Garganta appears near Inoue's bakery.

Attack on Titan major AU. What if there was no humanity behind the walls? Alternate titan lore, closure for Ymir, everyone lives. Possibly platonic Eren&Levi.

Resident Evil, Albert Wesker/Leon Kennedy - a very old idea that I'd like to work on someday. Basically it's Wesker rescuing Leon's sorry ass, and Chris having to help his archenemy to save his friend. Claire is the only sane person in all of this.

My Bleach AU headcanon is that if Rukia and Ichigo had told Byakuya they wanted to get married, Byakuya would have said that it was unacceptable because Ichigo was still a human.

He needed to be a spirit first, and then Byakuya would do his very best to try and kill him

Hi! I feel bad for having messaged twice in kinda quick succession, but I have a Bleach AU idea and don’t really have anyone to tell about it, but i hope you’d like to hear about it!

So I’ve only recently been trying to finish reading Bleach (I’ve read earlier chapters multiple times, but never managed to read past the Xcution arc). I’ve still got about 100 odd chapters to go, but I’m in the thousand year war arc finally, (and I’ve read the last few chapters, so I know how it ends, just not all of the details in between).

Anyway, I’ve recently read the bit where Kyoraku (is that his name? Shunsui, the head captain guy) actually goes to the land of the living and visits Ichigo’s friends to warn them that depending on how powerful he is once he’s sorted his issues with his Zanpakuto, he might not be able to come back home and it’s just GOT ME THINKING, because so far it’s not been mentioned again, and it isn’t in the last few chapters either, I don’t think. BUT!! What if it is that Ichigo is so powerful now that going back to the human world on a permanent basis would completely mess with the human world, so he’s forced to stay in the soul society.

So much potential for angst, with him missing his sisters and friends (and Kisuke), BUT also so much potential for absolute highjinks in the SS.

I think this could potentially be a little similar to your Turn Back the Clock AU, but I’m just imagining all of the remaining captains/lieutenants all absolutely beside themselves trying to convince Ichigo to join their teams, Shunsui is already eyeing him up for a captain position in the near future, Kenpachi (who’s still a little lost without his little sidekick (whose name I’ve forgotten, god I feel so bad because I love her)) just itching to get Ichigo to join his squad so that he can have daily fights without the trouble of having to go looking for the guy. Shinji (who without a shadow of a doubt has a soft spot for Ichigo, no matter how much he might enjoy irritating him) who wants to have him in his squad as some kind of “visords-stick-together” kinda deal (and because he knows it’d piss all the others off). Rukia laying claim because HELLO, she’s the one that stabbed him and gave him the powers in the first place, she calls dibs! Hell, I think even Byakuya would want him in his squad, because as much as he might deny it if asked, he’s actually rather fond of the guy, so long as he learns to call him Captain rather than his first name.

And as things are want to do in the SS, where the more power the shinigami, the more insane they seem to be, things get a little out of hand. During one heated discussion, where they’re all giving their updates on how well each of them think they’re doing in convincing Ichigo to join them, someone (I’m thinking a shit-stirrer like Yumichika maybe) gives the idea that hey, this competition seems almost as if you’re trying to court the guy! And so it turns into this weird ass Shinigami-courting situation, with a “whoever manages to (woo) CONVINCE Ichigo to join their squad is OBVIOUSLY the one that Ichigo likes best, so that means that he’s OBVIOUSLY also open to (after)life long commitment in the form of marriage to whichever captain wins” kinda thing going on.

Cue Ichigo not getting a single moments peace, when all he really wants is to be left alone to just PROCESS the fact that he 1) has had to leave everyone and everything he’s ever known in the human world to live with these absolutely crazy people, and 2) just fought in a very big battle and helped kill a thousands-year old crazy Quincy guy.

He’s more than happy spending his time helping clean up and rebuild the SS for now, and he’s happy to worry about what comes next once the SS is back on its feet. (And he’s more than a little oblivious to the weird fighting/flirting/coercing that seems to happen whenever he comes across any familiar face whenever he’s out and about).

It all comes to a head when his friends from home come for a visit to the soul society with those handy dandy tokens that Shunsui gave them, and instantly see what’s happening and have to sit Ichigo down and explain to him that he may or may not (but definitely does) have twenty or so extremely powerful shinigami captains and lieutenants all after his ass(ets), which, know that Ichigo thinks about it, definitely explains a few things that’ve been happening to him lately.

And shortly after his friends go back home, all three realms feel a shift in reiatsu and hear a distant screech from Kisuke, who’s suddenly realised that hey, maybe the human world sucks actually and he should relocate back to the soul society for no reason in particular! None at all! Definitely not jealousy because that would be ridiculous.

If I had the time or energy (and a better track record of finishing fics that I start 😬) I’d love to write this, but I fear it’ll be stuck in my notes forever, lol, so thought I’d share!

No I love this so much!! Especially if it's endgame UraIchi and like all this courting, all this drama, all the shenanigans from all these different high-powered shinigami all trying to get Ichigo's attention and Kisuke just rocks up and gets him within a solid 10 minutes and 5 of those were spent with Ichigo purposefully ignoring him while Kisuke apologized for some dumb petty shit he did before Ichigo ended up in SS

KUROTSUCHI WEEK DAY 2 part 2

Beach day/Reality surpases fiction/modern AU

They say I am immoral, they say I pay no mind to the laws of shinigami, the rulings of the gods.

They say I am heartless, they say I am unmoved, unfazed by the suffering of others.

They say I am a monster, they say I cause unimaginable pain to my own daughter.

They say I am a sadist, perverted, twisted, cold blooded psychopath.

They say I am a murderer, killed thousands without an instant of hesitation.

They say I am a narcissist, they say I think only of myself and see nothing but own greatness.

They say I am detached, calculating, clinical and cruel and use the advancement of science as an excuse for my depravity

They say so much about me... Yet, they know not the truth.

The truth is, dear test subject, that I am not like that at all.

Am much worse.

Reality, as you are about to experience in your own flesh and bones, as I tear muscle from joint and organs from cavities, far surpasses fiction.

Reality, my dear test subject, is far, far worse.

Half asleep dumb Bleach AU where Quincy war goers really bad and they have to pull a time travel fix it but the only 2 strong enough to not die are Ichigo and Aizen.

The 2 ending up in the turn back the pendulum arc and Aizen instantly goes into full xanatos gambit mastermind planner mode... only to realize that is fucking impossible when you are working with Ichigo Kurosaki.

Every time he thinks he has found a way to create a long plan that will result in the Quincy end (And maybe himself as the soul king or all powerful) he turns around and Ichigo has already completely changed the time line AGAIN! Totally fucked up someones tragic backstory and he just takes a deep breath throws all his planning in the bin and has to go back to the drawing board (Since he can't actually murder Ichigo... he's tried)

Ichigo isn't trying to change much he doesn't have any grand plan just kill Yhwach, make sure his friends are safe and don't let Aizen do anything to Aizeny.

He ends up bonding with Gin, because Gin sees how powerful Ichigo is and more importantly how much he pisses off Aizen. He basically becomes Ichigo's shadow and just makes everything 10x more chaotic.

It becomes worse when Byakuya joins in he sees Ichigo shunpo at a speed that puts Yoruchi to shame and pretty much insists he teach him. And thus Ichigo has 2 shadows who mange to fuck up everything Aizen tries to plan.

(They disappear for a few days and Ichigo has somehow become king of Hucheo mundo no ones even sure how, there's also an adjuchas grimmjow following Ichigo around either trying to kill him or maybe court him no one can tell. Aizen takes one look at this pretty much throws months worth of planning in the bin and then goes and then just disappears into the Senkaimon to scream into the void)

Shinji is confused but he knows Aizen's planning something still he's sure of it and hasn't realized the plans have changed. Ichigo just watches the two for a bit and just turns to Aizen like 'So trying to murder and hollowify the guy you have a huge crush on is taking pigtail pulling to the extreme right?' Gin is dying laughing and Aizen is pissed and not happy because he has been doing fine with repressing and ignoring these feelings for centuries and can keep on doing it just fine thank you very much.

Thus begins Ichigo and Gin trying to match make him because that may make Aizen less crazy evil since Ichigo has watched the man stare all pinning and stupid after Shinji and stop staring at the many many maps and plans he have (most of them Ichigo thinks are plans for trying to murder him) and well it's fucking hilarious. Also he's pretty sure Shinji is just as bad since the man can ramble about Aizen for hours... literal hours Ichigo timed him and not all of it was how he's planning something evil...though a lot of it was.

Plus it's embarrassing to Aizen and hilarious.

As you all know, July 31st is Espada number 6's birthday. With the TYBW arc finally being animated, I've noticed many longtime and new fans emerging (and re-emerging) to craft stories and art featuring our favorite lovable murder cat. And it made me think: why not gather all that talent in one place and do something special to celebrate?

Thus an idea was born. Welcome to the "6 Weeks of 6" Event, where you can celebrate Grimmjow in the way that you choose!

This is your chance to make it all about Grimmjow. The theme is celebrating his birthday, but you can choose how you do so. Want to write a fic detailing the events of his special day? Want to make a moodboard based on how you think he would celebrate? Want to draw or paint him wearing a silly birthday hat? Want to write headcanons about how he spends his birthday? Hiya!

I've been having too many fandom thoughts in my mind (which is honestly not a good moment for, I have first exams next week lol) but I have been in a Bleach binge for the last two weeks, and also I've been watching the Mandela Catalogue (which, if you like analog horror, you should definitwly see it bc it is spectacular) and I have many hc for the series.

Basically, the videos include a type of supernatural beings called "Doppelgangers", which are able to imitate humans, invade their homes and kill them.

There are a couple of types of doppelgangers depending of how alike a human they are, but honestly I see them as eldritch shape-shifters.

One of the things I've noticed in a couple of videos and that I hc now is that they don't attack unless attacked first (but what they do... Well, it's pretty horrible), sooo... I mixed things and got a Plot Idea:

After the war with Aizen, Ichigo lost everything he was and everything he cared for, leaving him entirely on his own.

Everybody moved on without him, leaving him stranded in a turbulent storm he is starting to believe he can't survive without help. But nobody is left to lend him a guiding hand anymore. Without two thirds of his soul, he's slowly starting to wither; losing himself bit by bit one day, one betrayal at a time.

One night, Ichigo lay in his bed trying futilely to sleep and just managing a bare doze, house empty because his sisters are either in the Shoten or staying at a friends house and Goat-Face who-cares-where, he's all alone.

Except, when he opens his eyes, he's staring directly at a face.

His own face, in fact.

His apparent twin just stares at him, a weird grin a hair too big for his face, saying nothing.

Ichigo has heard about the doppelgangers before, of course he has, with every little town on alert because of the disturbing murders that are happening because of these monstrous creatures.

But he's just tired. He's just a human, and all strength he had left, his supposed friends and family had taken it away.

He doesn't want to fight. Not anymore.

He scoots over to the side of the bed, and mumbles something along the lines of "close the window, go to bed, wanna sleep".

The last thing he feels is the warmth of his room and breathing on the back of his neck.

Or where Ichigo is adopted by an Otherworldly shape-shifter, gives him a something to fill his void-like soul, making him a one of Them too, and when he learns how to change shape, the first form he takes becomes his default state: a shadow.

Because Ichigo has become a shell of his former being, a shadow of himself.

He finds no better irony.

I'm going to drop it here and run

Ichigo turns 21. He drinks with Tatsuki and Uryu because he recognised his feelings to Urahara and Hirako, both, the same day. He tries to get drunk but his reiatsu just burns all alcohol out of him. Ichigo's surprised he's gay, he has quite definitive type which could also include Aizen, he's polygamous so he has crush on two men simultaneously.

The same time, Hirako comes to Urahara from Seireitei surprised that no shinigami knows about Ichigo's 21 birthday. Kisuke explains it's because Ichigo himself have hidden it for the sake of his sanity (time between worlds is counted differently because of different calendars and Soul Society is also flat). Hirako wonders why they won't join Ichigo's celebration with his two friends. Urahara deadpans if Hirako really will be able to hold himself, without Urahara tying him up, upon seeing Ichigo sprawled on the table, skin reddened from blush, heavy breathing and unfocused sight. Especially, if Ichigo will become touchy, touch-starved person the hybrid really is. Hirako agrees with the old friend that it would be a trial.

Uryu finally has mercy over Ichigo on how to drink, he got this info from Grimmjow. A bit tipsy Ichigo asks Tatsuki, a bisexual, if she wants to kiss him. Nothing romantical, just human contact. Tatsuki chuckles and kisses him in the forehead, Ichigo pouts, Ishida rolls his eyes and orders more drinks.

Drunk Ichigo really becomes touchy and melancholic.
