Mossclan sketches. I don’t actually think I’ve posted much of mossclan, if any. They are my thunderclan/skyclan-esque clan. Their camp is a large oak tree, with the leader den in a hollow at the top, working down the tree to the elders and nursery deep among the roots, easily accessible for them and able to be watched over constantly by warriors and clanmates higher up.

Mossclan has a lot of internal politics drama, and with a small rural two leg place nearby is one of the two clans that tend to pick up the most loners and ex kitty pets. Swiftclan picks up a few from the campsite bordering them, and steepclan less from the same campsite. Diveclan doesn’t really border anything twolegs related and doesn’t see much in the way of loners.

Left to right top: Flamepaw and their sister Butterflypaw. Butterflypaw’s mentor has some questionable ethics, but Butterflypaw idiolises them. They are very jealous of their littermate as Flamepaw is a natural when it comes to their training and is a determined and brave cat. Flamepaw just wants to love on their sister, and Butterflypaw wants none of it.

Next is Dappledsun, an elder who was forced to retire early after protecting their new kits from a badger attack, which killed their mate, and injured them. They have a badly twisted front paw and lost one of their back legs. At 70 moons they still want to fight for their clan, but probably shouldn’t be on the front line. Hollytwine is one of the kits they were injured protecting. They’re a bold, agile cat and is blunt enough to remind their father to sit down and help the clan at camp.

Bottom left to right: Hollowthroat. Hollowthroat is a cut throat cat who just likes chaos. They wake up every morning and choose violence. Their scars are from killing a kitty pet as an apprentice. They tell the clan the kitty pet drew claws first, when in reality they went out of their way to chase their victim down to practice a level of violence that was generally frowned upon when training with other apprentices. They’re a silver tongued devil who just likes to watch the world burn.

Scotchclaw and Bladepaw. Despite being only two moons older, Scotchclaw is mentoring Bladepaw. Both are loners/ex kitty pets who joined the clan to survive. Both are waiting for the other paw to drop, and lean into Kiteslash and her ideals as they’re paranoia causes them to struggle to bond with clanmates, and they thrive under Kiteslash’s strong ideals and plans.

TL;DR these are some murder cats. I have put way to much effort into describing these stupid furballs, but I get sad when I see characters and don’t get any indication as to even their name. So. If anyone else likes the look of the cats and wants to know, there you go. If ya didn’t wanna know then.. thanks for looking at my doodles hope you liked them for your eyes.
